A pre-booked car from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to Main Street Park City costs US$305 in a business sedan on Elly8.net, and US$400 in a business SUV, up to US$795 in an Executive Sprinter. The price is fixed and all-in: chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. It does not rise on a powder Saturday or when a storm slows Parleys Canyon.
The drive is about 38 miles (62 km), roughly 53 minutes on a clear road, east on I-80 through Parleys Canyon and over the summit before dropping into the Snyderville Basin and Park City. That short, easy airport run is one of the reasons Park City is so popular for ski weeks and offsites. Rides in Park City are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.

Salt Lake City International (SLC): where your chauffeur meets you
SLC is the hub airport for the Wasatch resorts, and the airport run to Park City is short by mountain-town standards. According to the Salt Lake City International Airport ground transportation page, pre-arranged ground transportation picks up on the ground level of the terminal, and rideshare pickups are outside on the ground level at the B-Lane, marked by curbside signs.
When you book, enter your flight number. The desk tracks the flight, the chauffeur meets you inside with a name board after baggage claim, and you get complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. With skis in hard cases and a family of four, that meeting point saves you the walk to a rideshare lane with a luggage cart. See airport transfers and airport meet and greet.
For departures, the chauffeur drops you at the departures curb. On a winter Sunday we usually suggest leaving Park City at least three hours before a domestic flight: the drive itself is under an hour on a clear road, but snow in Parleys Canyon and the end-of-week exodus can double it.
If you are staying in Salt Lake City before or after Park City, our Salt Lake City car service page prices SLC to downtown separately. Private flights into Salt Lake City are handled the same way; give us the tail number and FBO, and see private jet and FBO car service.
Uber vs taxi vs bus vs a pre-booked car from SLC to Park City
"How much is an Uber from SLC to Park City" is one of the most searched questions about this trip, and the honest answer is that it varies. Rideshare prices move with demand, and the Sunday afternoon after a storm is when demand peaks. Here is how the options compare, using published numbers where they exist.
| Option | SLC to Park City | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| TRAX Green Line plus bus | US$2.50 adult TRAX fare (UTA), then a separate bus to Park City | longest, with a change downtown | Solo traveller, light bag, no skis |
| Shared shuttle | per seat, varies by operator | stops for other passengers | Budget solo travellers |
| Taxi | metered fare | about 53 min clear road | Walk-up arrivals |
| Rideshare (standard and premium tiers) | varies with demand and weather | pickup at the B-Lane, same roads | Flexible, off-peak, light luggage |
| Elly8.net business sedan | US$305, fixed and all-in | about 53 min clear road, chauffeur waiting inside | Fixed budget, late flights, meetings |
| Elly8.net Executive Sprinter | US$795 for the vehicle | same | Ski groups, families, wedding parties |
Public transit is genuinely useful here. According to UTA, the TRAX Green Line connects directly to the airport, and UTA's current fares list US$2.50 for a local bus or TRAX ride and US$5.00 for an express bus. Park City links a PC-SLC commuter route operated with High Valley Transit, whose local Wasatch Back service is free. In town, buses connect Main Street, the resorts and the lodging areas.
So when is transit the right call? If you are one person with a backpack and no skis, landing mid-afternoon on a weekday, it is far cheaper. When does a pre-booked chauffeur win? When there are three or more of you, when there are skis, boards and child seats (available on request), when you land at night, and when the trip has to be on time for a board meeting or a lift-opening first chair. A fixed price also removes the surge risk on storm days. For the full comparison, see chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft and Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur.
Winter driving on I-80 and the canyon roads
Utah weather is the reason people come and the reason the drive needs respect. The Utah Department of Transportation says that during severe winter weather, drivers must use traction devices where the law requires them, and publishes a map of affected routes. I-80 through Parleys Canyon is the main road between the airport and Park City, and on heavy snow days it slows to a crawl near the summit.
Our partner chauffeurs drive this road all season in vehicles prepared for it, and the desk watches road conditions on storm mornings. If you are also planning a day at the Cottonwood Canyon resorts above Salt Lake City, ask the desk; those canyon roads have their own traction rules and closures, and an hourly booking is the simplest way to handle them.
Main Street, Deer Valley and Canyons Village
Park City has three distinct centres, and the car does something different in each.
Main Street and Old Town are the historic core, with restaurants, galleries and the Town Lift up to Park City Mountain. Main Street is steep and narrow, and on busy evenings pickups work best from an agreed side street rather than the front of a restaurant. Tell the desk where you are dining and we will suggest a spot.
Deer Valley is about a mile from Main Street, roughly 3 minutes from the Snow Park base on a clear road. Deer Valley Resort has added a new East Village base area with new lifts and more than 300 new skiable acres, and its 2026-27 opening day is listed for Saturday, December 5, 2026. Many of its lodges are ski-in, ski-out, so guests use a car mainly for the airport and dinner in town.
Canyons Village, on the Park City Mountain side of the Snyderville Basin, is a self-contained resort base with slopeside hotels. It sits a short drive from both I-80 and Main Street, which makes it easy for airport runs and harder for evenings in Old Town without a car.
For a day that moves between resorts, with lunch in town and gear in the back, the hourly rate suits it best: from US$100 an hour in a business sedan and US$125 in a business SUV, with a 3-hour minimum. A full-day chauffeur starts at US$740. See hourly chauffeur service.
Sundance, ski weeks and events in Park City
For decades Park City was synonymous with the Sundance Film Festival. That has changed: according to Sundance Institute, the 2027 Sundance Film Festival will take place January 21 to 31 in Boulder, Colorado. Festival travellers now fly into Denver; our Denver car service page covers DEN transfers.
What remains in Park City is a year-round calendar of ski events, concerts, art and food festivals, plus the Utah Olympic Park, maintained by the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation as one of the region's Olympic venues. The busiest weeks are the holidays, the January long weekends and spring break, when lodging fills and every airport transfer lands on the same Saturday.
For evenings on Main Street, a dinner at a mountain lodge or a private party, the evening out and event night package starts at US$500 in a business sedan and US$625 in a business SUV, up to US$1,000 in an Executive Sprinter, and covers the drive, the wait and the return. See event transportation.
Corporate retreats and roadshows
Park City is a favourite for company offsites: under an hour from a major hub airport, with resort hotels that have meeting space and ski runs outside the door. The logistics are the same every time: staggered arrivals at SLC, transfers to one or two hotels, then dinners and activities spread across town for three days.
We handle that as one booking with several vehicles, pickups matched to each flight. The corporate roadshow day package starts at US$900 in a business sedan and US$1,125 in a business SUV, up to US$1,800 in an Executive Sprinter, and works equally well for a day of meetings in Salt Lake City's business district. A corporate account gives monthly invoicing, and NDAs are available on request. See corporate car service and group transportation.
Weddings and celebrations in the mountains
Park City weddings tend to involve a ceremony at a resort or ranch, guests spread across Deer Valley, Canyons Village and Old Town, and a reception that ends late. An Executive Sprinter loops the guests and a full-day chauffeur stays with the couple. See wedding limousine service. The chauffeur follows Utah's rules on alcohol in vehicles, so the toast happens at the venue.
The private highlights tour
The private city highlights tour, from US$400 in a business sedan to US$800 in an Executive Sprinter, covers Old Town and Main Street, the Deer Valley and Canyons Village bases and the Olympic venues, at your pace. In summer it pairs well with an afternoon of hiking or mountain biking. See private city tours.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a car from Salt Lake City airport to Park City?
On Elly8.net, SLC to Main Street Park City costs US$305 in a business sedan, US$400 in a business SUV and US$795 in an Executive Sprinter, fixed and all-in. That covers the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. A round trip starts at US$580 in a sedan.
How long is the drive from SLC to Park City?
About 38 miles (62 km), roughly 53 minutes on a clear road via I-80 and Parleys Canyon. Snow, weekend traffic and the Sunday exodus can add a lot of time. For departures on a winter Sunday, we suggest leaving Park City at least three hours before a domestic flight.
Is a car service cheaper than Uber from SLC to Park City?
Not always. Rideshare prices vary with demand, and on a quiet weekday a standard rideshare can cost less than our US$305 sedan. On storm days and peak weekends, rideshare prices rise while ours stay fixed. A pre-booked car also includes a chauffeur waiting inside, room for skis and child seats on request.
Where will my chauffeur meet me at SLC?
Inside the terminal after baggage claim, holding a name board, with the car on the ground level where the airport's pre-arranged ground transportation picks up. Add your flight number when you book; the desk tracks it, and you get complimentary waiting after a tracked landing.
Is Sundance still in Park City?
No. Sundance Institute says the 2027 Sundance Film Festival will take place January 21 to 31 in Boulder, Colorado. For festival travel, fly into Denver and see our Denver car service page. Park City remains busy all winter with skiing and events.
Do you provide child seats and room for skis?
Yes. Child seats are available on request; tell us each child's age and weight when you book. For skis and boards, choose a business SUV or an Executive Sprinter. The price is per vehicle, not per person, so a family with gear in one SUV pays the same as a couple.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less it is 50%, and at 24 hours or less, or for a no-show, it is 100%. Refunds go back to the original card.
Can you handle a corporate group arriving in Park City?
Yes. Several SUVs and Sprinters can be booked together, with pickups matched to each flight at SLC. Corporate roadshow days start at US$900 in a business sedan, NDAs are available on request, and a corporate account gives you monthly invoicing.
