Montreal limo service on Elly8.net is priced per vehicle, all-in, before you travel. Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) to downtown Montreal starts at US$120 in a business sedan and US$160 in a business SUV, up to US$315 in an Executive Sprinter for a group. All Elly8.net prices on this page are in US dollars and include the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet.
Rides in Montreal are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer. Most of our Montreal work is YUL transfers, meeting days between downtown towers and the Palais des congres, game nights at the Bell Centre, the Formula 1 weekend in May and the drive north to Tremblant.
How much is a car from YUL to downtown Montreal?
From Montreal-Trudeau (YUL) to downtown Montreal, Elly8.net fares start at US$120 in a business sedan, US$160 in a business SUV, US$195 in a first class SUV, US$210 in a first class sedan and US$315 in an Executive Sprinter. The drive is about 18 km (11 mi), around 23 minutes on a clear road. Prices are fixed and all-in.
| Vehicle | YUL to downtown, one way | YUL round trip | By the hour (3-hour minimum) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business sedan | from US$120 | from US$230 | US$110 per hour |
| Business SUV | from US$160 | from US$305 | US$140 per hour |
| First class SUV | from US$195 | from US$375 | US$165 per hour |
| First class sedan | from US$210 | from US$400 | US$180 per hour |
| Executive Sprinter | from US$315 | from US$600 | US$220 per hour |
The same fare applies to the downtown core, Old Montreal and the hotel blocks around Rene-Levesque, Sherbrooke and the Golden Square Mile. For an address further out, such as Westmount, the Plateau, Laval or the South Shore, enter it in the web booker and it prices the trip. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
Arriving at YUL: where the chauffeur meets you
Montreal-Trudeau handles domestic, international and US flights in one terminal building, so there is a single arrivals hall to find, whichever door you come out of customs. Your chauffeur waits inside arrivals with a name board, tracks the flight and works to the actual landing time, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. If the flight is early or the bags are slow, the plan moves with you rather than starting a meter.
The run downtown follows Highway 20 and the Ville-Marie route, about 23 minutes with clear roads. On weekday late afternoons the Turcot interchange and the approaches to downtown can double that, and construction season on Montreal's roads is long. We build realistic times into departures: YUL has US preclearance, so for a flight to the United States you complete US border formalities in Montreal before boarding, and we usually suggest leaving downtown at least three hours before a US departure on a weekday afternoon. See airport transfers and airport meet and greet for how we run pickups everywhere.
Montreal taxi vs 747 bus vs rideshare vs Elly8.net
Montreal has more ways into town from the airport than most cities, and some of them are very good value. The 747 YUL-downtown bus runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The fare is C$11.25 per person and works as a 24-hour pass on the STM bus and metro network, and the STM says departures are generally every 10 to 20 minutes. Taxis from the airport to downtown charge a regulated fixed fare, published by the airport at C$49.45 by day and C$56.70 overnight (11 p.m. to 5 a.m.).
The REM light-rail line will add another option. Its branch to a new YUL-Aeroport-Montreal-Trudeau station is under construction, and REM says commissioning of the airport branch is scheduled for 2027. Until the station opens, there is no train from the terminal.
| Option | Price to downtown | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| STM 747 bus | C$11.25 per person (24-hour pass) | About 30 to 70 minutes, depending on stop and traffic | One traveller, light bag, budget |
| Airport taxi (fixed fare) | C$49.45 day / C$56.70 night per car | About 23 minutes clear, more at peak | Walk-up arrivals, short notice |
| Rideshare | Varies with demand and time of day | Same roads, plus the wait for a match | Flexible plans, off-peak |
| Elly8.net business sedan | from US$120, fixed and all-in | Chauffeur waiting in arrivals | Late flights, meetings, fixed budgets |
| Elly8.net Executive Sprinter | from US$315 for the vehicle | Same | Groups, ski bags, wedding parties |
The honest summary: one person with a carry-on and no deadline can take the 747 for very little, and a taxi is a fair choice at a fixed fare if you are happy with whichever car is at the front of the line. A pre-booked chauffeur is the better fit when the flight lands at midnight, when four people and their luggage need one vehicle, when a child seat must be fitted before you arrive, or when a company needs the cost on an invoice before the trip. More detail is in chauffeur vs taxi and Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur.
Downtown, Old Montreal and the business districts
Downtown Montreal is compact, but it is not easy driving. Many streets are one way, delivery trucks stop in live lanes, and from spring to autumn whole blocks close for roadwork or festivals. Old Montreal adds cobblestones, narrow lanes and very little curb space around Place d'Armes and the Notre-Dame Basilica, so the chauffeur sends you the exact spot before arrival.
Corporate days here move between the bank and law towers around McGill College and Rene-Levesque, the Golden Square Mile, the offices near the Lachine Canal and Griffintown, and the aerospace and industrial parks in Saint-Laurent and Dorval near the airport. A corporate roadshow day starts at US$990 in a business sedan and US$1,260 in a business SUV, up to US$1,980 in an Executive Sprinter, with one chauffeur holding the car between meetings. Companies booking often can open a corporate account with monthly invoicing, and our investor roadshow service covers multi-meeting days. NDAs are available on request.
A note on language: Montreal is a French-speaking city where English is widely used in hotels and business. If you would like a French-speaking or bilingual chauffeur, ask the desk when you book and we will tell you what we can arrange for your date.
Palais des congres de Montreal and the Bell Centre
The Palais des congres de Montreal sits on the edge of Old Montreal and Chinatown, above the Ville-Marie expressway, and hosts many of the city's large medical, scientific and industry congresses. Opening and closing times bring the same surge every time: everyone leaves at once, taxis queue and the rideshare map fills up. For congress groups we schedule pickups at a named entrance and stagger the vehicles. See conference transportation.
The Bell Centre on de la Gauchetiere is home to the Canadiens and the city's biggest arena concerts. Game nights fill the streets around Lucien-L'Allier and the arena plaza well before puck drop and again after the final horn. The evening out and event night package, from US$550 in a business sedan to US$1,100 in an Executive Sprinter, covers dinner, the game or the show and the ride back, with the car waiting nearby. See sports event transportation.
Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix: planning drop-offs on Ile Notre-Dame
The Canadian Grand Prix returns to Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve at Parc Jean-Drapeau on May 21 to 23, 2027, listed on the Formula 1 calendar as a Sprint weekend. It is the busiest weekend of the year for Montreal car service, and it needs a different plan from any other event, because the circuit sits on an island in the St. Lawrence.
The organizers steer spectators to the metro, with Jean-Drapeau station a short walk from the gates. For cars, the organizer publishes taxi and rideshare drop-off points away from the circuit each year. In 2026 those were the P8 lot at La Ronde, a walk from the Main Gate; the Grand Prix Hub on rue Marc-Cantin, with a shuttle to the Casino Gate; and a drop-off in Saint-Lambert, a walk from the Blue Zone Gate, for ticket holders in certain grandstands. The organizer also stated that cabs, rideshares and vehicles without a parking pass are not accepted on the Concorde Bridge or Avenue Pierre-Dupuy. The 2027 points will be in the organizer's visitor guide, and we follow them.
In practice that means three things. First, we book cars to the official drop-off for your gate, not to the circuit, and plan the walk or shuttle from there. Second, race-day evenings need an agreed pickup time and place, because phones and roads both jam when the crowd leaves the island. Third, an hourly booking or a full-day chauffeur, from US$810 in a business sedan to US$1,620 in an Executive Sprinter, keeps one car with your party for dinner and the evening downtown afterwards. Hotels and YUL are at their busiest that weekend too, so book early. See event transportation.
Jazz Fest, Osheaga, Just For Laughs and summer in the Quartier des Spectacles
Summer turns downtown into a festival site. The Festival International de Jazz de Montreal runs June 25 to July 4, 2027, centred on the Quartier des Spectacles around Place des Arts, where streets close to cars for the festival. Pickups move to the edge of the closed area, and we send you a meeting point rather than promise a door.
Osheaga is held at Parc Jean-Drapeau, usually on the last weekend of July or the first of August; the organizer had not confirmed the 2027 dates when this page was written. The same island logic as the Grand Prix applies: metro or bridge access, restricted vehicle access and set pickup points. Just For Laughs fills theatres and outdoor stages across the Quartier des Spectacles in July; check Just For Laughs Montreal for the 2027 dates. For any of these, see concert and festival transportation.
Sights and the private city tour
The private city highlights tour, from US$440 in a business sedan to US$880 in an Executive Sprinter, covers what a first visit needs without the parking: the lookout on Mount Royal, Saint Joseph's Oratory on the mountain's western slope, Old Montreal and the Old Port, the Museum of Fine Arts on Sherbrooke and the Olympic Park in the east. The chauffeur drops you at the door at each stop and waits. For a slower day on your own plan, hourly service starts at US$110 in a business sedan with a 3-hour minimum; see private city tours and hourly chauffeur service. Tourisme Montreal lists current exhibitions and events.
The Mont-Tremblant day trip
The signature Montreal package is a ten-hour Mont-Tremblant day, from US$1,015 in a business sedan and US$1,290 in a business SUV to US$2,025 in an Executive Sprinter. Your chauffeur collects you downtown, drives north through the Laurentians to the Tremblant pedestrian village, waits through skiing, the gondola, a spa afternoon or lunch by the lake, and drives you back the same evening. In winter the Sprinter carries skis and boots inside with the group.
If you are staying at Tremblant rather than visiting for the day, book the direct YUL transfer on our Mont-Tremblant car service page instead. For other long drives, such as Montreal to Quebec City or Montreal to Ottawa, use the web booker or see city to city car service.
Weddings, proms and nights out
Montreal weddings often move between a church in Old Montreal or Westmount, photos on Mount Royal or in the Old Port, and a reception downtown or in a converted industrial space by the canal. A full-day chauffeur keeps one car with the couple, and an Executive Sprinter moves the wedding party. See wedding limousine service, and for graduation season, prom and graduation limousines. Chauffeurs follow local rules on alcohol in the vehicle, so the celebrating stays at the venue.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a limo from Montreal airport to downtown?
From YUL to downtown Montreal, Elly8.net fares start at US$120 in a business sedan, US$160 in a business SUV, US$210 in a first class sedan and US$315 in an Executive Sprinter, fixed and all-in. A round trip booked together starts at US$230. The drive is about 18 km (11 mi), roughly 23 minutes on a clear road.
Where will my chauffeur meet me at YUL?
Inside the arrivals hall, with a name board, after you clear customs and collect your bags. Add your flight number when you book. The desk tracks the flight, so an early or late landing is handled, and you get complimentary waiting after a tracked landing.
Is there a train from Montreal airport to downtown?
Not yet. The REM light-rail branch to a YUL station is under construction, and REM says the airport branch is scheduled for commissioning in 2027. Today the public option is the STM 747 bus, which runs 24 hours a day for C$11.25 per person, including a 24-hour transit pass.
How do I get dropped off at the Grand Prix?
Cars cannot drive to the circuit gates. The organizer publishes official taxi and rideshare drop-off points each year, and we book your car to the one that serves your gate, then agree a pickup point for the evening. Many guests combine the drop-off with the metro to Jean-Drapeau station.
Can I book a French-speaking chauffeur?
Ask the desk when you book. Montreal is a French-speaking city and English is widely used in hotels and business, so most visitors manage either way. We will tell you what we can arrange for your date before you pay.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, on request. Give each child's age and weight when you book and the right seats are fitted before pickup, which matters for a family arriving at YUL after a long flight. A business SUV gives more room for seats, strollers and luggage together.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. Refunds go back to the original card. The same terms apply to every vehicle class and every Elly8.net city.
Can you move a congress group or a corporate team?
Yes. Executive Sprinters and several sedans or SUVs can be booked together for the Palais des congres, a roadshow or an incentive trip, and a corporate account gives monthly invoicing. A corporate roadshow day starts at US$990 in a business sedan.
