Game-day transportation is planned around one moment: the final whistle, the chequered flag, the last point. Before it, traffic into a stadium or circuit is heavy but steady. After it, fifty thousand people leave in the same half hour, the streets around the venue close to cars, rideshare prices rise and pickup zones fill. A booked chauffeur with a pickup point chosen in advance gets you out of that faster than anything else on four wheels.
Elly8.net books sports event transportation in 141 cities: an evening car for an arena game, a full day for a Grand Prix or a tennis tournament, an Executive Sprinter for a hospitality group of twelve, and airport transfers for fans flying in. The evening out and event night package starts at US$425 in a business sedan in cities such as Barcelona, and is US$475 in Las Vegas, US$500 in Miami and US$525 in Los Angeles, New York and London.
How does game-day transportation work?
The chauffeur collects you at a set time, drops you at the venue's designated car drop-off or the nearest permitted point, and waits nearby during the event. Before the end, you message the chauffeur and walk to a pickup point agreed in advance, outside the closed streets. The price is fixed per vehicle, all-in.
Big sporting events publish transport plans: road closures, designated drop-off zones for pre-booked cars and rideshare, shuttle routes and timings. The chauffeur works to that plan. The desk's job is to choose the drop-off and pickup that fit it and the time to leave, and to tell you both before the day.
Formula 1 weekends
Grand Prix weekends are the most complex sports bookings we make: three days, a circuit outside the city centre or on closed public roads, hospitality and paddock entrances with their own access rules, and crowds that leave together after the race. These are races on the published 2027 Formula 1 calendar in or near Elly8.net cities.
| Race | 2027 dates | Base city | Airport fare, Business Sedan | Hourly, Business Sedan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Miami Grand Prix | 30 April to 2 May | Miami | MIA to Miami Beach US$180 | US$100 |
| Canadian Grand Prix | 21 to 23 May | Montreal | YUL to downtown US$120 | US$110 |
| Monaco Grand Prix | 4 to 6 June | Monaco | Nice to Monte-Carlo US$220 | US$100 |
| British Grand Prix | 2 to 4 July | London | Heathrow to Mayfair US$195 | US$105 |
| Italian Grand Prix | 3 to 5 September | Milan | Linate to the Quadrilatero US$110 | US$90 |
| Las Vegas Grand Prix | 18 to 20 November | Las Vegas | Harry Reid to the Strip US$125 | US$95 |
Montreal. The Canadian Grand Prix is held at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, and the Grand Prix du Canada site has its own section on getting to the circuit. Check it before the weekend: the chauffeur works to the organiser's access and drop-off arrangements. Book by the hour, or a full day at US$810 in a business sedan.
Monaco. The race runs on the streets of Monte-Carlo, so roads close and traffic around the Principality is extremely tight all weekend. Most guests stay in Nice, Cannes or along the coast and travel in for the day. A full-day chauffeur in Monaco is US$740 in a business sedan; see Monaco and Nice.
Las Vegas. The street circuit runs along the Strip, at night. Road closures change how every resort is reached for the whole race week, not just the race days. Book early and expect the chauffeur to use resort side entrances; see Las Vegas.
Silverstone and Monza. The British Grand Prix at Silverstone and the Italian Grand Prix, traditionally held at Monza north of Milan, are day trips from London and Milan. A full-day chauffeur is US$775 in London and US$665 in Milan in a business sedan; race-day traffic means leaving early and agreeing the pickup point before the start.
A Grand Prix weekend, day by day
Race weekends have a rhythm, and the bookings follow it.
- Arrival day. A flight-tracked airport transfer to the hotel, with a chauffeur in arrivals. Airports in race cities are busiest on the Thursday and the Monday.
- Friday practice. Often the most relaxed day, and a good test of the route. Many guests book an hourly block to go in for an afternoon session and leave early.
- Saturday qualifying. Busier, with hospitality guests arriving for the session and evening events in town. An evening package covers the dinner afterwards.
- Race day. Leave early, agree the pickup point before the start, and stay patient after the flag. The chauffeur will already be at the pickup point; the walk out is the slow part.
- Departure. Book the airport run for the morning after the race rather than the evening of it, when every road out of the circuit is full.
For hospitality groups, an Executive Sprinter booked for each day keeps the same chauffeur and vehicle for the weekend, and the desk sends one schedule covering every pickup.
NFL, NBA, NHL and stadium game days
For NFL games, the main difference between a good and a bad game day is the drive out. Stadiums such as SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, close to LAX, run designated drop-off and pickup areas, and traffic on the surrounding roads backs up for a long time after the final whistle. The chauffeur meets you at an agreed point outside the immediate congestion. LAX to Beverly Hills is US$170 in a business sedan, and an evening in Los Angeles is US$525.
The championship game moves to a different city each year, and Super Bowl week is the busiest week of the year for chauffeured cars wherever it lands. If you are going, book transport as soon as you have tickets; see the NFL's Super Bowl page for the host and the date, and the city page for prices.
Arena games are shorter and closer to the centre. Madison Square Garden in Midtown, Scotiabank Arena beside Union Station in Toronto, and arenas in Chicago, Miami and Las Vegas all sit inside dense street grids where a waiting car beats a rideshare queue after the game. Toronto game nights run on the Elly8 fleet.
Tennis, golf and the big tournaments
Tournaments differ from games: a full day, sometimes a fortnight, with the best matches late in the day. Wimbledon is a day trip from central London to SW19, and the Championships' own site carries visitor information for spectators; a full-day chauffeur is the usual booking, with drop-off and pickup at the points the tournament designates. The US Open at Flushing Meadows in Queens is best reached by a chauffeur from Manhattan who knows the approach roads, with LaGuardia nearby for anyone flying in the same day.
Golf tournaments and pro-ams are often at courses an hour or more from the nearest city. For those, a full-day chauffeur or a city to city car service transfer to the host town is the right booking.
Hospitality groups and teams
Corporate hospitality is a big share of sports bookings: a company hosting clients at a race, a final or a box at an arena. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers and 12 bags and keeps the group together from the hotel to the hospitality entrance and back. For larger groups, the desk books several Sprinters on one manifest and invoices them together on a corporate account. See group transportation and event transportation.
Visiting teams, staff and officials book Sprinters and SUVs for airport arrivals, hotel transfers and training sessions. Bags and equipment are the deciding factor; tell the desk what is coming so the right vehicles go.
Game-day transportation vs rideshare, taxis and driving
| Option | Before the event | After the event | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elly8.net chauffeur | Drop-off at a time and point you set | Pickup at an agreed point outside the closures; price already fixed | Groups, hospitality guests, late finishes |
| Rideshare | Usually easy | Long waits in a designated zone; dynamic pricing rises with demand | Small groups at venues with good rideshare zones |
| Driving and parking | Event parking, often pre-sold and far from the gate | Long queue out of the lot | Fans who want to tailgate and drive |
| Transit and event shuttles | Often the fastest way in | Crowded right after the event | One or two fans near a direct line |
Transit and official event shuttles are often the fastest way into a major event, and organisers encourage them for good reason. A chauffeur is the better choice for groups, guests you are hosting, families, anyone with limited mobility and nights that end late.
Booking sports event transportation in three steps
- Enter the pickup address, the venue and the event start time; for a race weekend or tournament, list each day. Add the group's mobile number for the chauffeur.
- Choose the vehicle and booking type: the evening out package, a full-day chauffeur, an hourly block, or an Executive Sprinter for groups.
- Reserve on the city's price list or through the web booker. Confirmation arrives by email; the chauffeur's details and the agreed pickup point follow before the event.
Cancellation terms are the same for every booking: free more than 72 hours before pickup; 10% within 72 hours; 50% within 48 hours; 100% within 24 hours or for a no-show. Refunds go back to the original card. If an event is postponed, contact the desk to move the booking.
Who drives
In Toronto and the GTA, game-day bookings run on the Elly8 fleet with Elly8 chauffeurs. In every other city, rides are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Laws on alcohol in vehicles differ by place, and the chauffeur follows local rules.

Frequently asked questions
How much does game-day transportation cost?
The evening out and event night package starts at US$425 in a business sedan in cities such as Barcelona and is US$475 in Las Vegas, US$500 in Miami and US$525 in Los Angeles, New York and London. A full day for a race or tournament is US$665 in Milan, US$775 in London and US$810 in Montreal. Prices are per vehicle and all-in.
When are the 2027 Grand Prix weekends in your cities?
On the published 2027 Formula 1 calendar: Miami 30 April to 2 May, Canada 21 to 23 May, Monaco 4 to 6 June, Great Britain 2 to 4 July, Italy 3 to 5 September and Las Vegas 18 to 20 November. Book transport as soon as you have tickets, because chauffeurs in those cities sell out early.
Where does the chauffeur pick up after the game?
At a point agreed before the event, usually outside the streets the venue or police close at the end, and away from the main crowd. The chauffeur confirms it by message, and you walk there when you leave. That is almost always faster than waiting in a rideshare zone.
Can the chauffeur drop at the hospitality entrance?
Where the venue allows vehicles at that entrance, yes. Send the hospitality instructions from your ticket or host with the booking; they usually name the drop-off point and any vehicle passes required. The chauffeur follows venue staff and police instructions on the day.
Is a Sprinter better than several cars for a group?
Usually. An Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers with 12 bags and keeps the group together through the closures and the crowd. In New York it is US$1,050 for an evening, often less than three SUVs and simpler to coordinate.
What happens if the game goes to overtime or the race is delayed?
On an evening or hourly booking, the chauffeur waits. If the event runs past the booked time, extra time is billed at cost on the same terms. For events prone to delays, such as rain-affected tennis or races, booking a full day is the calmer option.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free more than 72 hours before pickup; 10% within 72 hours; 50% within 48 hours; 100% within 24 hours or for a no-show. Refunds go back to the original card.
