A Victoria limo service from Elly8.net is a pre-booked sedan, SUV or Sprinter at a fixed, all-in price. From Victoria International Airport (YYJ) to the Inner Harbour the fare runs from US$145 in a Business Sedan to US$380 in an Executive Sprinter, with the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet included. All Elly8.net prices on this page are in US dollars.
Victoria trips start in more ways than most cities, because the city sits on Vancouver Island with no road link to the mainland. Guests arrive by air at YYJ, by ferry at Swartz Bay, by floatplane or helicopter in the harbour, or by passenger ferry from Seattle. Rides in Victoria are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much is a car service from YYJ to downtown Victoria?
An Elly8.net car from YYJ to the Inner Harbour costs US$145 in a Business Sedan, US$190 in a Business SUV, US$255 in a First Class Sedan, US$235 in a First Class SUV and US$380 in an Executive Sprinter. The round trip starts at US$280. Prices are fixed and all-in; parking is billed at cost.
YYJ is on the Saanich Peninsula near Sidney, about 28 km (18 mi) north of the Inner Harbour, roughly 34 minutes on a clear road via the Patricia Bay Highway. The drive is usually steady, though the approach into downtown slows at the afternoon peak and on ferry-arrival surges, when cars from Swartz Bay join the same highway.

Arriving at YYJ: where your chauffeur meets you
YYJ is a compact airport, so the walk from the gate to arrivals is short and the wait is usually at the baggage belt rather than in a long corridor. Flights from the United States clear Canadian customs on arrival.
With an Elly8.net booking, the chauffeur tracks your flight, waits inside arrivals with a name board and walks you to the car. Complimentary waiting starts after a tracked landing. Send your flight number when you book, and tell us about golf clubs, bikes or a pram so the right vehicle is sent. Our airport transfers page and airport meet and greet page explain timing and delays.
For departures, the desk sets the pickup time from your flight. From the Inner Harbour, allow for the drive up the peninsula at the morning peak.
Bus, taxi, rideshare or a pre-booked car from YYJ
Victoria's airport has good basic options, and for some travellers a bus or taxi is the sensible choice. Transit and taxi fares are in Canadian dollars; Elly8.net prices are in US dollars.
| Option | Price, YYJ to downtown | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| BC Transit bus | C$6.00, per the airport | longer, with a change at McTavish Exchange | One traveller, light bags, no rush |
| Taxi | metered | 30-45 min | Short-notice trips |
| Rideshare (Uber) | varies with demand | 30-45 min | Flexible, off-peak trips |
| Elly8.net Business Sedan | US$145 fixed, all-in | 30-45 min, door to door | Late flights, meetings, a guaranteed pickup |
| Elly8.net Executive Sprinter | US$380 fixed, all-in | 30-45 min, door to door | Groups, families and wedding parties |
Bus. The airport's ground transportation page says BC Transit serves YYJ with up to 28 departures to and from the airport and the McTavish Transit Exchange, with connections to Swartz Bay, the Saanich Peninsula and downtown on routes 70, 72, 87 and 88, and lists the fare from YYJ to downtown as C$6.00. It also notes that oversized luggage can be difficult to accommodate. Timetables are on BC Transit.
Taxi. A curbside taxi company serves the terminal, and pre-booked taxis pick up along the short-term lot curb across from the arrivals exit, according to the airport. Fares are metered.
Rideshare. Uber is listed at YYJ, with ride-hailing pickups at designated spots along the same short-term lot curb. Prices follow demand.
A pre-booked chauffeur makes sense when you land late, travel with children who need car seats, arrive as a group or wedding party, or go straight to a meeting at the legislature or a downtown office. An Executive Sprinter at US$380 carries a group and its bags in one vehicle. See chauffeur vs taxi and chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft.
Getting to Victoria from Vancouver: ferries, floatplanes and helicopters
"Vancouver to Victoria" is one of the most searched trips in the region, and the answer depends on time, budget and luggage. Elly8.net does not sell ferry, floatplane or helicopter seats. We book the car at either end.
BC Ferries. The main car-ferry route runs from Tsawwassen, south of Vancouver, to Swartz Bay at the north end of the Saanich Peninsula. BC Ferries schedules the non-stop crossing at about 1 hour 35 minutes. Foot passengers walk on and off; drivers need to allow for terminal check-in and sailing waits on busy days. Swartz Bay is past the airport, so the drive into the Inner Harbour is longer than the YYJ run.
Floatplane. Harbour Air flies floatplanes between Vancouver Harbour and Victoria's Inner Harbour in about 35 minutes, landing within walking distance of many downtown hotels. Bags are limited on small aircraft, so check the allowance.
Helicopter. Helijet runs scheduled helicopter flights between Vancouver and Victoria of about 35 minutes.
From Seattle. The Victoria Clipper passenger ferry sails between Seattle and Victoria's Inner Harbour. Pickups from the Clipper and from our Seattle side are quoted in the web booker.
Where a car fits. Many travellers combine a car at each end with the ferry: a Vancouver car service from YVR or a downtown hotel to Tsawwassen, then a Victoria car from Swartz Bay. Ferry-terminal transfers are quoted in the Elly8.net web booker, and the chauffeur times the pickup to the scheduled arrival, so give us the sailing time when you book. For floatplane or helicopter arrivals, the chauffeur meets you at the terminal in the harbour.
The Inner Harbour, downtown and Oak Bay
Most visitors stay around the Inner Harbour, where the Parliament Buildings, the Fairmont Empress and the Royal BC Museum face the water, or in the downtown grid running up from Government Street and Wharf Street to Chinatown. Further out, James Bay has quieter streets south of the legislature, and Oak Bay, to the east, has seaside homes, golf and boutique hotels.
Downtown streets are compact, with one-way sections and busy harbour sidewalks in summer. The chauffeur confirms the exact hotel entrance or pickup corner when the time is set, and for harbour-side restaurants the desk agrees the closest practical stop. An hourly chauffeur, from US$110 per hour in a Business Sedan to US$220 per hour in an Executive Sprinter with a 3-hour minimum, suits days that move between downtown, Oak Bay and the peninsula.
Butchart Gardens: the signature day trip
The signature Victoria trip is The Butchart Gardens, a 55-acre display garden in Brentwood Bay on the Saanich Peninsula, still owned and run by the Butchart family. The 4-hour package is priced from US$405 in a Business Sedan, US$520 in a Business SUV and US$665 in a First Class Sedan to US$810 in an Executive Sprinter, with the chauffeur waiting while you walk the Sunken Garden, the Rose Garden and the Japanese Garden.
Each season looks different, and the gardens' Christmas season runs from December 1 to January 6. The gardens say online daily tickets for most of the year are not tied to a time slot and are not required in advance, while Christmas tickets work differently, so check the Butchart planning page before you go. Because the gardens are on the way to the airport and the ferry terminal, a Butchart stop can also be built into an arrival or departure; tell the desk and it is quoted in the web booker.
The private city highlights tour, from US$440 in a Business Sedan to US$880 in an Executive Sprinter, covers the Inner Harbour, Beacon Hill Park, the Dallas Road waterfront and Oak Bay in a few relaxed hours. See private city tours, and Tourism Victoria for current events.
Conferences, government and corporate travel
Victoria is British Columbia's capital, and much of its business travel is government, legal and public-sector work around the legislature, along with conferences at the Victoria Conference Centre next to the Fairmont Empress. Delegations often arrive at YYJ, by floatplane or by ferry on the same day, which makes a coordinated arrival plan useful.
The corporate roadshow day is priced from US$990 in a Business Sedan to US$1,980 in an Executive Sprinter, and a full-day chauffeur from US$810 to US$1,620. A corporate account adds monthly invoicing, saved traveller profiles and NDAs on request. See government, diplomatic and delegation transportation and corporate car service.
Weddings, cruise calls and nights out
Victoria weddings use harbour hotels, garden venues and estates on the peninsula, often with guests arriving by ferry and floatplane. A First Class Sedan for the couple and an Executive Sprinter for guests is a common plan; see wedding limousine and guest shuttles.
Cruise ships call at the Ogden Point terminal, at the southern end of James Bay, mostly between spring and October. Shore-day tours to Butchart Gardens or around the city are quoted in the web booker; give the desk your ship's arrival and all-aboard times. See cruise port transfers.
The evening out and event night package runs from US$550 in a Business Sedan to US$1,100 in an Executive Sprinter, with a set drop-off and an agreed pickup. The chauffeur follows local rules on alcohol, and there is no drinking in the vehicle.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a car service from YYJ to downtown Victoria?
An Elly8.net Business Sedan from YYJ to the Inner Harbour is US$145, a Business SUV US$190, a First Class Sedan US$255, a First Class SUV US$235 and an Executive Sprinter US$380. The round trip starts at US$280. Prices are fixed and all-in, covering the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet. Parking and extra waiting are billed at cost.
Where will my chauffeur meet me at YYJ?
Inside the arrivals area with a name board. The chauffeur tracks your flight, so early and late landings are covered, and complimentary waiting starts after a tracked landing. You receive the chauffeur's contact details before you fly, and the chauffeur walks you to the car.
Can you pick us up from the ferry at Swartz Bay?
Yes. Ferry-terminal pickups are quoted in the web booker. Give us the sailing you are booked on and whether you are a foot passenger, and the chauffeur times the pickup to the scheduled arrival. Elly8.net does not sell ferry tickets, so book the crossing with BC Ferries.
What does the Butchart Gardens trip cost?
The 4-hour Butchart Gardens package is priced from US$405 in a Business Sedan to US$810 in an Executive Sprinter, with the chauffeur waiting while you visit. Garden admission is not included. The Christmas season runs from December 1 to January 6 and has its own ticketing, so check the gardens' website first.
Is the bus cheaper than a car from the airport?
Yes, for one person. The airport lists the BC Transit fare from YYJ to downtown at C$6.00, with connections at McTavish Exchange. It suits a solo traveller with light luggage and time to spare. A pre-booked car is faster door to door and makes more sense for groups, families with child seats and late arrivals.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, on request. Add the number and ages of the children when booking and the chauffeur installs the seats before pickup. Families arriving by ferry with a car's worth of bags usually choose a Business SUV or an Executive Sprinter.
Can you move a wedding party or delegation between the harbour and hotels?
Yes. Send the arrival list, whether by air, floatplane or ferry, and the desk plans the pickups. An Executive Sprinter carries a group together, and corporate and government accounts can be invoiced monthly, with NDAs on request.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less it is 50%, and at 24 hours or less or a no-show it is 100%. Refunds go to the original card. Contact the desk early if your flight or sailing changes.
