Boston is a short-distance, high-traffic city. Logan International (BOS) is only about 5 miles (9 km) from Back Bay, around 13 minutes on a clear road, but the harbour tunnels, the Expressway and Storrow Drive can turn that into a long ride at the wrong hour. A pre-booked Boston limo service or Logan car service from Elly8.net fixes the fare in advance: US$130 in a business sedan from Logan to Back Bay, up to US$340 in an Executive Sprinter, with a chauffeur waiting inside arrivals.
Rides in Boston are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Every price includes the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Tunnel tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
How much is a car service from Logan Airport to Back Bay?
A business sedan from Boston Logan to Back Bay is US$130, fixed and all-in. A business SUV is US$170, a First Class SUV US$210, a First Class Sedan US$230 and an Executive Sprinter US$340. From Hanscom Field in Bedford, for private jets, the same ride starts at US$215 in a business sedan.
Logan sits across the harbour in East Boston, so every ride into the city goes through a tunnel. On a clear road Back Bay is about 13 minutes away. On a weekday afternoon, or on a Red Sox or Celtics night when traffic backs up toward the Garden, allow 30 to 45 minutes. Hotels in the Seaport, Downtown and the North End are close to the Back Bay fare; Cambridge, Brookline and the suburbs are priced through the web booker.
| Route | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | First Class SUV | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Logan (BOS) to Back Bay | US$130 | US$170 | US$230 | US$210 | US$340 |
| Logan round trip | US$250 | US$325 | US$440 | US$400 | US$650 |
| Hanscom Field (BED) to Back Bay | US$215 | US$280 | US$380 | US$345 | US$560 |

Hourly service, the evening out, the full day, the corporate roadshow day and the Newport package are all in the price panel, each with a Reserve now button.
Arriving at Logan: terminals and where your chauffeur meets you
Logan has four terminals: A, B, C and E, with most international arrivals at Terminal E. With meet and greet, your Elly8.net chauffeur waits inside arrivals at baggage claim holding a name board, then walks you to the vehicle. We track the flight and include complimentary waiting after a tracked landing, so a delayed connection does not leave you rushing.
That walk matters at Logan because app rides do not use the terminal curbs. According to Massport's ride-app page, Uber and Lyft pickups for Terminals A, C and E are in the Central Parking Garage, and Terminal B pickups are on Level 2 of the Terminal B Parking Garage. After a long flight, with bags and children, a chauffeur who meets you inside is the easier start. For departures, the chauffeur drops you at the departures level of your terminal.
Hanscom Field (BED): private jet arrivals
Hanscom Field in Bedford is the Massport-run general aviation airport about 20 miles northwest of Boston, and it handles most of the region's private and business jets. Massport lists three FBOs on the field: Atlantic Aviation, Jet Aviation and Signature Aviation. Give us the tail number, the FBO and the expected arrival time, and the chauffeur meets you at the FBO.
Hanscom to Back Bay is about 20 miles (33 km), around 37 minutes on a clear road via Route 2 or Route 128, and it runs from US$215 in a business sedan to US$560 in an Executive Sprinter. A First Class SUV is US$345. See our private jet and FBO car service page for how we handle flight changes and luggage for private arrivals.
Taxi vs rideshare vs the Silver Line vs Elly8.net
Boston has a genuinely good free option from the airport. The MBTA Silver Line SL1 serves every Logan terminal and runs to South Station, and the MBTA states on its Logan Airport page that service from the airport is always free. A free Massport shuttle also links each terminal to Airport station on the Blue Line. For one traveller with a carry-on heading downtown or to South Station, it is the best value in the city.
Taxis load at the terminal taxi stands and run on meters set by the city, so the fare depends on traffic and route. Rideshare apps price at the moment you request, and after a Bruins game, a convention closing or a storm, those prices rise.
| Option | Price | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| MBTA Silver Line SL1 | free from the airport | One traveller, light bag, South Station or downtown | Transfers with luggage to Back Bay |
| Massport shuttle and Blue Line | free shuttle, subway fare | Downtown and East Boston hotels | Changing lines with bags |
| Boston taxi | metered, set by the city | Walk-up arrivals | Traffic moves the fare, tolls added |
| Rideshare (Uber, Lyft, Uber Black) | set by the app at request | Spontaneous trips | Garage pickup, surge pricing |
| Elly8.net business sedan | US$130 fixed, all-in | Meetings, families, late flights, child seats | Book ahead; tunnel tolls at cost |
If you are alone and travelling light, take the Silver Line. If you are meeting a client, travelling with children who need seats, landing late, or moving a team with bags, a fixed fare and meet and greet beat a garage pickup. Back Bay, the Seaport, Downtown and Cambridge
Back Bay is the centre we price from, with Copley Square, Newbury Street, Boylston Street and the big hotels around the Prudential Center. The Hynes Convention Center sits right in Back Bay, and South End hotels are a few minutes away. The Seaport, across the Fort Point Channel, has grown into a district of new hotels, offices and restaurants around the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center, formerly the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, at 415 Summer Street.
Downtown and the Financial District hold the law firms and banks, the North End has its restaurants, and Beacon Hill sits next to the State House. Across the Charles, Cambridge brings Harvard, MIT and Kendall Square's biotech and technology companies. Amtrak passengers arrive at South Station or Back Bay Station; our train station transfers page explains how we meet trains.
Corporate travel, biotech and roadshows
Boston's business travel is driven by finance, biotech and life sciences, universities, hospitals and consulting. A typical day might start at a Back Bay hotel, move to Kendall Square, go on to the Longwood Medical Area and end in the Financial District. The corporate roadshow day runs from US$900 in a business sedan to US$1,800 in an Executive Sprinter, built around your meeting list. See roadshow chauffeur and corporate car service.
An hourly chauffeur costs from US$100 an hour in a business sedan (3-hour minimum), and a full day runs from US$740 to US$1,475. Corporate clients get monthly invoicing and saved traveller profiles through a corporate account.
Conventions, games and the event calendar
The two convention centres keep Boston hotels busy all year. Seafood Expo North America returns to the Menino center on March 7 to 9, 2027, according to Seafood Expo, and medical and technology meetings fill the calendar in between. For exhibitors and speakers we run conference transportation with hotel loops and Sprinter shuttles.
Sports and concerts cluster in a few places. Fenway Park at 4 Jersey Street is wedged into the Fenway neighbourhood next to Kenmore Square, where streets close and fill on game nights. TD Garden at 100 Legends Way hosts the Celtics, the Bruins and big concerts above North Station. Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, home of the Patriots, is about an hour south on a game day. Our evening out and event night package runs from US$500 in a business sedan to US$1,000 in an Executive Sprinter, with the chauffeur staged near an agreed pickup point. See sports event transportation.
Marathon Monday: April 19, 2027
The Boston Marathon runs on Monday, April 19, 2027, according to the Boston Athletic Association. On race day, streets on and next to the course are closed to traffic, the finish is on Boylston Street in Back Bay, and there is no parking near the finish. For runners, families and sponsors, we plan pickups from points outside the closed area and allow extra time for every ride that day. Book early, because hotel and car demand peaks across the whole weekend.
Graduation season
May and June are graduation season in Boston and Cambridge, and families book cars months ahead. Boston University's All-University Commencement is on Sunday, May 16, 2027, according to BU, and MIT's Commencement ceremonies run May 26 to 28, 2027, according to MIT. Harvard and the other colleges hold their ceremonies through the same weeks. A Business SUV or an Executive Sprinter carries a family, grandparents and bags, and an hourly booking covers the ceremony, lunch and the move-out.
City tours and the Newport day trip
A private city highlights tour is US$400 in a business sedan and US$800 in an Executive Sprinter. It can follow the Freedom Trail sights, Beacon Hill, the North End, Harvard Yard and the Charles River, with the chauffeur waiting while you walk. See private city tours.
The signature day trip is Newport, Rhode Island, a 10-hour package from US$920 in a business sedan to US$1,840 in an Executive Sprinter. The Gilded Age mansions along Bellevue Avenue are run by the Preservation Society of Newport County, including The Breakers, and Holidays at the Newport Mansions runs November 21, 2026 to January 3, 2027. A full day leaves time for two mansions, lunch by the harbour and the Ocean Drive.
Weddings, proms and nights out
Boston weddings move between Back Bay hotels, historic churches, harbour venues and estates on the North Shore and Cape Cod. We book wedding limousines and guest shuttles, with Executive Sprinters for the bridal party and First Class sedans for the couple, timed to photographs in the Public Garden. For dances see prom limousines. The chauffeur follows local rules on alcohol in vehicles.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a car service from Logan to Back Bay?
A business sedan from Boston Logan to Back Bay is US$130, fixed and all-in, including the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet. A business SUV is US$170 and an Executive Sprinter US$340. A business sedan round trip is US$250. Tunnel tolls and parking are billed at cost, and traffic does not change the price.
Where does my chauffeur meet me at Logan?
Inside arrivals at baggage claim for your terminal, holding a name board. You do not need to walk to the rideshare pickup in the parking garage. We track the flight and include complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. International arrivals at Terminal E are met after customs.
Can you meet a private jet at Hanscom Field?
Yes. Send the tail number, the FBO (Atlantic Aviation, Jet Aviation or Signature Aviation) and the expected arrival time, and the chauffeur meets you at the FBO. Hanscom to Back Bay is US$215 in a business sedan, US$345 in a First Class SUV and US$560 in an Executive Sprinter, fixed and all-in.
How does a car service work on Marathon Monday?
On April 19, 2027, streets on and next to the course are closed, and the finish area on Boylston Street has no parking. We plan pickups and drop-offs from points outside the closures and add extra time to every booking that day. An hourly booking is often simplest for families following a runner.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, on request. Add the child's age and weight when you book and the right seat is fitted before pickup. A Business SUV gives more room for strollers and bags. Child seats are a key reason families book a car from Logan rather than a taxi or a garage rideshare pickup.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less, or a no-show, 100%. Refunds go to the original card. A delayed flight is not a no-show, because we track it and move the pickup.
Can you book cars for a graduation weekend?
Yes, and we recommend booking as soon as the date is set. An hourly booking from US$125 an hour in a Business SUV (3-hour minimum) covers the ceremony, lunch and dorm move-out. For larger families, an Executive Sprinter at US$200 an hour carries everyone and their bags together.
Do you offer corporate accounts in Boston?
Yes. Corporate accounts include monthly invoicing, saved traveller profiles and one 24/7 desk across every city we serve, which suits biotech, finance and consulting teams travelling between Boston, New York and Europe. Travel agents and hotels can open accounts through the partners pages, and group transportation covers larger moves.
