Vail car service on Elly8.net has two prices that matter most. A business sedan from Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) to Vail Village starts at US$320 all-in, and a car from Denver International (DEN) starts at US$715. Both are fixed before you fly and include the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet, so a closure on Vail Pass or a Saturday queue at the tunnel does not change the number.
Vail has no airport of its own. Eagle is about 36 miles (57 km) west, roughly 46 minutes on a clear road; Denver is about 121 miles (194 km) east over the Continental Divide, about 150 minutes on a clear road and much longer in a storm. Rides in Vail are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much is a car service from Eagle airport to Vail?
A pre-booked car from Eagle County Regional (EGE) to Vail Village costs from US$320 in a business sedan to US$835 in an Executive Sprinter on Elly8.net, fixed and all-in. The drive is about 36 miles (57 km) east on I-70, about 46 minutes on a clear road. From Denver (DEN) the same trip starts at US$715.
The fares panel on this page lists every vehicle class. In round numbers:
| Route | Distance | Clear road | Elly8.net one way | Round trip |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EGE to Vail Village | about 36 mi (57 km) | about 46 min | US$320 sedan to US$835 Sprinter | from US$610 |
| DEN to Vail Village | about 121 mi (194 km) | about 150 min | US$715 sedan to US$1,860 Sprinter | from US$1,360 |
In between, a business SUV from Eagle is US$420 and a first class SUV US$515; from Denver, a business SUV is US$930 and a first class SUV US$1,145. Prices are per vehicle, so a family of six with skis in one Sprinter pays the same as a couple.
Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. Both airport runs use I-70 for almost the whole drive, so the main variable is weather, not the route.
Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE): the closer choice
Eagle is in Gypsum, west of Vail along I-70, and in ski season it carries a schedule built around the resorts. On the airport's live flight board you will see United flights from Denver and American flights from Dallas/Fort Worth, with more routes in the winter season.
Eagle County Regional Airport lists its ground options as rental cars, shuttle and limo operators, taxi service and Core Transit, and it names Signature Aviation for general aviation. For a pre-booked Elly8.net transfer, add your flight number when you book. The desk tracks the flight, the chauffeur meets you as you come out to baggage claim with a name board, and you get complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. If you are flying privately, give us the tail number; see private jet and FBO car service.
From EGE, Beaver Creek is about 29 miles (46 km) and 39 minutes on a clear road, a little closer than Vail Village, and Avon and Edwards are on the way. Use the web booker for a priced Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, Arrowhead or Edwards address. Aspen is a separate trip west and south, priced on our Aspen car service page from US$490.
Denver (DEN) to Vail over the Divide
Denver to Vail is the trip most first-time visitors underestimate. You leave the plains, climb past Idaho Springs and Georgetown, go under the Continental Divide through the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel, drop into Summit County and then climb again over Vail Pass before descending into Vail. In clear weather it is about two and a half hours. On a snowy Saturday it can be much more.
The Colorado Department of Transportation applies the Traction Law on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero from September 1 to May 31, or whenever conditions require. Vehicles need winter or all-weather rated tires with at least 3/16 inch of tread, or chains or an approved traction device, and non-compliance carries a US$100 fine plus a US$33 surcharge, or US$500 plus a US$157 surcharge if it causes a lane closure. In a severe storm, CDOT enacts the Passenger Vehicle Chain Law as the last step before closing the road. Our partner chauffeurs drive this corridor all winter in vehicles set up for it.
According to Discover Vail, Fridays westbound and Sundays eastbound are the busiest days on I-70, and if the interstate closes, Highway 6 over Loveland Pass is the alternative, though it can close too. That is the practical case for a pre-booked car: when a closure holds traffic for hours, you are in a warm vehicle with a chauffeur who knows when to wait and when to divert, rather than at a rental counter in the dark.
A DEN to Vail transfer starts at US$715 in a business sedan and US$930 in a business SUV, up to US$1,860 in an Executive Sprinter, or from US$1,360 as a round trip. For Breckenridge, Keystone or Copper Mountain on the way, use the web booker with your exact address. If you are spending a night in the city first, our Denver car service page prices DEN to downtown.
Taxi vs rideshare vs bus vs Elly8.net in the Vail Valley
The valley has decent public transit, and it is fair to say so. Core Transit runs its Valley route from Dotsero through Gypsum, with direct service to Eagle County Regional Airport, then Eagle, Edwards, Avon and Vail. According to Core Transit's fares page, fares apply only to and from Eagle County Regional Airport, Gypsum and Leadville; other trips are fare-free. In town, the Town of Vail runs a free bus system linking the villages, ski areas and neighbourhoods. From Denver, shared shuttles, Pegasus vans and CDOT's Bustang coaches run the I-70 corridor.
| Option | EGE to Vail Village | What to expect | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core Transit Valley route | airport fare applies (see official fares page) | scheduled bus via Eagle, Edwards and Avon | Solo traveller, light luggage, flexible time |
| Shared airport shuttle | per seat, varies by operator | stops for other passengers' hotels | Budget travellers who do not mind stops |
| Taxi or rideshare | metered or app price | availability thins out at night and in storms | Short notice, off-peak |
| Elly8.net business sedan | US$320, fixed and all-in | chauffeur at baggage claim, flight tracked, straight to your door | Couples, late flights, fixed budget |
| Elly8.net Executive Sprinter | US$835 for the vehicle | same, with room for skis, boards and boot bags | Families, ski groups, wedding parties |
If you are travelling alone with a duffel and a flexible plan, the bus or a shared shuttle is cheaper, full stop. A private car earns its price when you land late, when you are four or more with skis, when you need child seats (available on request), and when you want to go straight from the terminal to your lodge door in Lionshead without stopping at six other hotels. More detail on the trade-offs is in chauffeur vs shared airport shuttle and chauffeur vs renting a car.
Vail Village, Lionshead, Beaver Creek: where the car goes
Vail Village and Lionshead are built for walking. Discover Vail describes the villages as designed to be explored on foot, with large parking structures in Lionshead and Vail Village. Cars do not drive freely through the pedestrian core, so your chauffeur drops off and picks up at the lodge's own entrance or the nearest permitted loading point. Tell us the property name when you book and the desk confirms the right spot.
Many lodges in both villages are ski-in, ski-out or close to it, so guests often need a car only for the airport, dinner in Beaver Creek or Minturn, and a day trip. Beaver Creek, about 13 miles (21 km) and 20 minutes west of Vail Village on a clear road, has its own gated village and slopeside lodges, with Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead along the same mountain.
For a day that moves between Vail and Beaver Creek, with a long lunch and gear to carry, book by the hour: from US$110 an hour in a business sedan and US$140 in a business SUV, with a 3-hour minimum. A full-day chauffeur starts at US$810, or US$1,035 in a business SUV. See hourly chauffeur service.
Events in Vail and the valley
Summer is as busy as winter. The GoPro Mountain Games return to Vail from June 10 to 13, 2027, with mountain sports, music and art across the village. The Bravo! Vail Music Festival runs its summer season of orchestral concerts in the valley and has announced its 2027 festival. Both weeks fill Vail's lodging and the Eagle airport schedule.
In winter, the busiest weeks are the holidays and spring break, when every arrival seems to land on the same Saturday. Book the airport run early and send us the flight number as soon as you have it. For a concert, a gala or a dinner across the valley, the evening out and event night package runs from US$550 in a business sedan to US$1,100 in an Executive Sprinter and covers the drive, the wait and the return. See event transportation and concert and festival transportation.
Corporate offsites and roadshows in Vail
Vail hosts a steady run of company offsites, client ski trips and conferences in the larger hotels. The pattern is predictable: thirty people land at Eagle and Denver across one afternoon, need to reach two or three lodges, then move between dinners and meeting rooms for three days.
We price that as several vehicles under one booking, with arrivals staggered by flight. The corporate roadshow day package starts at US$990 in a business sedan and US$1,260 in a business SUV, up to US$1,980 in an Executive Sprinter. A corporate account gives you monthly invoicing, and NDAs are available on request. See corporate car service and conference and trade show transportation.
Weddings and celebrations
Vail and Beaver Creek weddings often split between a slopeside ceremony, a reception in a lodge ballroom and guests spread across several hotels. An Executive Sprinter loops the guests, and a full-day chauffeur stays with the couple. See wedding limousine service and Sprinter van with driver. The chauffeur follows Colorado's rules on alcohol in vehicles, so the celebration stays at the venue.
The private highlights tour and Aspen by road
The private city highlights tour, from US$440 in a business sedan to US$880 in an Executive Sprinter, takes in Vail Village, Lionshead, Minturn and Beaver Creek at your pace, with stops for photographs and lunch. See private city tours.
Plenty of guests want to see Aspen during a Vail week. The two towns are roughly 100 miles apart by road. In summer and early autumn, the route over Independence Pass is the scenic one; in winter the pass is closed and the drive goes west through Glenwood Canyon. Use the web booker for a priced Vail to Aspen transfer, or book a full-day chauffeur for the round trip.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a car from Eagle airport to Vail?
A business sedan from Eagle County Regional (EGE) to Vail Village is US$320 on Elly8.net, a business SUV US$420 and an Executive Sprinter US$835. The price is fixed and all-in, covering the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. A round trip starts at US$610.
How much is a car service from Denver airport to Vail?
From Denver International (DEN) to Vail Village, a business sedan is US$715, a business SUV US$930 and an Executive Sprinter US$1,860. The drive is about 121 miles (194 km), about 150 minutes on a clear road. Winter storms and weekend traffic on I-70 can add a lot of time, which does not change the fixed price.
Should I fly into Eagle or Denver for Vail?
Eagle is far closer, about 46 minutes from Vail Village on a clear road, and avoids the mountain passes. Denver has more flights and often lower fares but adds roughly two and a half hours of mountain driving each way. If fares are similar, Eagle almost always wins; if Denver saves a lot, a pre-booked car makes the long drive easier.
Do your cars handle the Colorado Traction Law?
Yes. Partner vehicles on the I-70 corridor are equipped for the Traction Law, which applies between Morrison and Dotsero from September 1 to May 31 or whenever conditions require. If CDOT closes the interstate, the chauffeur waits safely or diverts on the desk's advice; your price stays fixed, and waiting beyond the included time is billed at cost.
Where will my chauffeur meet me at Eagle airport?
As you come out to baggage claim, with a name board. Add your flight number when you book; the desk tracks the flight and adjusts the pickup for early or late arrivals. You get complimentary waiting after a tracked landing, which covers the wait for skis and oversized bags at the carousel.
Can you take us to Beaver Creek instead of Vail Village?
Yes. Beaver Creek is about 29 miles (46 km) from Eagle airport and about 39 minutes on a clear road. Enter your Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch or Arrowhead address in the web booker for a fixed price, or contact the desk to add it to a Vail booking.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, child seats are available on request. Tell us each child's age and weight when you book so the right seats are fitted before pickup. For families with skis and several bags, a business SUV or an Executive Sprinter is the practical choice.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less it is 50%, and at 24 hours or less, or for a no-show, it is 100%. Refunds go back to the original card.
