Denver limo rental prices depend on four things: the vehicle, the number of hours, the minimum booking, and what is or is not included in the number you are quoted. On Elly8.net, chauffeured cars in Denver start at US$95 an hour in a Business Sedan and run to US$190 an hour in a 12-seat Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum, all-in with taxes and standard gratuity. Stretch limousines, stretch SUV limousines, party buses, Maybach and Rolls-Royce are priced for your date in the web booker.
The reason quotes vary so much is regulatory, not mysterious. Colorado's Public Utilities Commission regulates luxury limousine carriers for insurance and safety only; its passenger carrier page says their rates are not regulated and "may be whatever the market allows". That makes the structure of a quote, not just its headline number, the thing to compare.
How much does it cost to rent a limo in Denver?
On Elly8.net, Denver hourly rates are US$95 for a Business Sedan, US$120 for a Business SUV, US$145 for a First Class SUV, US$155 for a First Class Sedan and US$190 for an Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum. A 5-hour evening runs from US$475 to US$950, all-in. Stretch limousines are priced in the web booker.
Those are ranges you can book today, not "starting from" teasers. Every price includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, the standard gratuity and, on airport trips, meet and greet. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. The full Denver list is on the Denver fares panel.
The real Denver price ranges
| Booking | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | First Class SUV | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| By the hour (3-hour minimum) | US$95/h | US$120/h | US$155/h | US$145/h | US$190/h |
| Minimum 3-hour booking | US$285 | US$360 | US$465 | US$435 | US$570 |
| Private city highlights tour (4 hours) | US$380 | US$480 | US$620 | US$580 | US$760 |
| Evening out and event night (5 hours) | US$475 | US$600 | US$775 | US$725 | US$950 |
| Red Rocks and foothills day trip (6 hours) | US$525 | US$665 | US$860 | US$805 | US$1,050 |
| Full-day chauffeur (8 hours) | US$700 | US$885 | US$1,145 | US$1,070 | US$1,400 |
| DEN to LoDo and Union Station (one way) | US$225 | US$295 | US$395 | US$360 | US$585 |
Read the table two ways. Down the columns, it shows how the longer packages bring the hourly cost down: the 8-hour full day in a Business Sedan is US$700, against US$760 for eight separate hours. Across the rows, it shows what each step up in vehicle costs. The jump from a Business Sedan to a Business SUV is US$25 an hour; from a Business SUV to an Executive Sprinter, US$70 an hour, for double the seats.
What actually drives a limo price
The vehicle
The vehicle class is the biggest single factor. A sedan seats up to three, an SUV up to six with six bags, an Executive Sprinter up to twelve with twelve bags. Specialty vehicles, such as stretch limousines (up to 8 passengers on the fleet page), stretch SUV limousines (up to 16), party buses, Mercedes-Maybach and Rolls-Royce, cost more and are often booked well ahead for weekends. Our black car vs limousine comparison helps decide whether you need a stretch at all.
Hours and minimums
Almost every limo booking in Denver has a minimum. On Elly8.net it is 3 hours on the hourly list, and hourly bookings can run up to 12 hours at checkout. A quote with a higher minimum can look cheaper per hour and cost more in total. Always multiply the hourly rate by the minimum before comparing.
Day and season
Saturday nights in prom and wedding season, New Year's Eve and big concert nights are when the specialty vehicles sell out. Elly8.net published prices do not change with the day, but availability does, so book specialty vehicles early for those dates.
Downtown demand matters too. Convention weeks at the Colorado Convention Center, Nuggets and Avalanche nights at Ball Arena and Broncos games at Empower Field put a lot of chauffeured vehicles on the same streets at the same hours. If your date clashes with one of them, book earlier than usual and plan the drop-off a block or two from the crowd. The events hub lists major events across Elly8.net cities, and Visit Denver is the city's official guide to what is on.
Distance and the mountains
Denver is a big metro, and a booking that starts in Boulder or the Tech Center and ends in Morrison covers a lot of ground. Hourly pricing absorbs distance; point-to-point pricing reflects it. Mountain transfers are priced separately: DEN to Vail Village is from US$715 in a Business Sedan on the Vail car service page, and other resorts are quoted by the web booker.
Airport limo prices work differently
An airport transfer is priced as one trip, not by the hour, which is why it has no 3-hour minimum. DEN to LoDo and Union Station is US$225 in a Business Sedan, US$295 in a Business SUV and US$585 in an Executive Sprinter, the same in either direction. Private flights into Centennial (APA) start at US$195. Round trips from DEN run from US$430 to US$1,115.
It is worth knowing the cheaper benchmarks, because they are real. Denver International publishes taxi flat rates of US$72.04 to downtown and US$80.04 to the Tech Center, airport access fee included. For one or two people with ordinary bags, the taxi is cheaper, and our Denver airport Uber vs taxi vs private car guide says so plainly. A pre-booked car earns its price with flight tracking, a chauffeur inside at baggage claim, complimentary waiting after a tracked landing, a vehicle sized for the group and child seats on request.
Per person, the bigger vehicle is often the cheaper one
Groups often start by pricing a sedan and adding cars. The per-person numbers usually point the other way.
| Group | Vehicle | 5-hour evening price | Per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 people | Business Sedan | US$475 | about US$238 |
| 3 people | Business Sedan | US$475 | about US$158 |
| 6 people | Business SUV | US$600 | US$100 |
| 6 people | two Business Sedans | US$950 | about US$158 |
| 10 people | Executive Sprinter | US$950 | US$95 |
| 12 people | Executive Sprinter | US$950 | about US$79 |
Two sedans for six people cost more than one SUV and split the group. Two SUVs for twelve cost US$1,200 against US$950 for one Executive Sprinter. The exception is a couple who want the car to themselves; then the sedan or a First Class Sedan is the right buy, and the per-person figure is beside the point.
The line items to ask about
Because limousine rates are unregulated in Colorado, quotes from different operators can be built in different ways. None of these items is wrong in itself; what matters is knowing which ones are in the number you were given. Ask every operator the same questions.
Is gratuity included? Some quotes add a percentage for the chauffeur on top. On Elly8.net, the standard gratuity is already in the price.
Are taxes included? A pre-tax quote and an all-in quote are not comparable. Elly8.net prices include taxes.
Is there a fuel or service surcharge? Ask for it as a number, not a percentage you have to calculate later.
How are tolls and parking billed? On Elly8.net, tolls and parking are billed at cost and itemised. Some routes around the metro use E-470, a tolled highway, and event lots and hotel garages charge for waiting vehicles.
What does waiting cost? On airport pickups, complimentary waiting after a tracked landing is included. Beyond the included time, waiting is billed at cost.
When does the clock start? Ask whether hours are counted from the pickup at your address or from when the car leaves its base; the difference can be an hour on a Denver booking.
What is the cancellation policy? Elly8.net: free more than 72 hours before pickup; 10% at 72 hours or less; 50% at 48 hours or less; 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, refunded to the original card. Compare deposit terms just as carefully.
Is the operator permitted? The PUC handles complaints about overcharging and safety for limousines, shuttles and charters, and its page explains which carrier types it oversees. Rides in Denver booked through Elly8.net are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
Three worked Denver examples
A dinner and Red Rocks for four. Four adults, dinner in LoHi, a show at Red Rocks and home to Cherry Creek. A Business SUV on the 5-hour evening package is US$600 all-in, US$150 a person. The same night by the hour would also be US$600 for five hours, so the package simply makes the plan explicit. The venue's car rules are in our Red Rocks guide.
A birthday for eleven. Eleven friends, a 4-hour night across RiNo and downtown. An Executive Sprinter by the hour is US$760 for four hours, about US$69 a person. If the group wants a party bus instead, the web booker prices it for the date; our Denver party bus guide covers sizing.
A wedding with a couple's car and a guest shuttle. A First Class Sedan for the couple for 5 hours at US$155 an hour, US$775, plus an Executive Sprinter guest loop for 4 hours at US$190 an hour, US$760. Total US$1,535, fixed. Stretch or Rolls-Royce options are quoted in the web booker. Our Denver wedding limo guide walks through the day.
How to compare two Denver quotes in five minutes
- Write both quotes as a total for the whole booking, not an hourly rate: rate times hours, plus the minimum if the booking is shorter.
- Add anything not included: gratuity, taxes, surcharges, fees.
- Note what is billed at cost: tolls, parking, waiting.
- Check the vehicle and its capacity: "limo" can mean a sedan, an SUV or a stretch.
- Read the cancellation terms side by side.
Done that way, the comparison is honest in both directions. Sometimes a local operator's all-in total is lower, and sometimes the lower headline rate turns into the higher bill. Our how much does a limo cost page explains the same method for every city.
Booking an all-in Denver price

On Elly8.net, yes. The standard gratuity is included in every price, along with taxes and the chauffeur. Other operators may add it as a percentage, so ask before comparing quotes. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
Why are Denver limo quotes so different?
