A Denver party bus booking starts with a head count, then the hours, then the route. On Elly8.net, party buses, stretch limousines and stretch SUV limousines are priced in the web booker for your date and hours. The fixed-price alternative for groups up to twelve is the Executive Sprinter at US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$950 for a 5-hour evening out, all-in with taxes and standard gratuity. For twelve people, that 5-hour evening is about US$79 each.
Denver adds two twists most cities do not. Its signature venue, Red Rocks, treats party bus limousines as oversized vehicles with their own lot. And a lot of Denver nights cover real distance, from RiNo to LoDo to Morrison, so the hours go further than people expect. Rides in Denver are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much does a party bus cost in Denver?
On Elly8.net, party buses in Denver are priced in the web booker for your date, route and hours, all-in. The fixed-price option for up to twelve people is an Executive Sprinter: US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, US$570 for three hours, or US$950 for the 5-hour evening out package, about US$79 a person for twelve.
Colorado does not set party bus or limousine prices. The Public Utilities Commission's passenger carrier page lists luxury limousines and charter buses among the carriers it regulates for insurance and safety only, with rates left to the market. That is why two quotes for the same Saturday can differ a lot, and why the questions later in this guide matter.
Step 1: how many people?
The head count decides the vehicle, and the vehicle decides almost everything else. Capacities below are from the Elly8.net fleet page.
| Group size | Vehicle | Passengers | How it is priced in Denver |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 to 6 | Business SUV or First Class SUV | up to 6, with 6 bags | US$120 or US$145 an hour, fixed |
| 6 to 8 | Stretch Limousine | up to 8 | web booker, for your date |
| 8 to 12 | Executive Sprinter | up to 12, with 12 bags | US$190 an hour, fixed |
| 8 to 12 | Party Bus | up to 12 | web booker, for your date |
| 12 to 16 | Stretch SUV Limousine | up to 16 | web booker, for your date |
| more than 16 | two vehicles | combined | book both for the same times |
Count real people, not "about fifteen". A vehicle sized for twelve with fourteen people arriving is a bad start to the night, and a vehicle for sixteen with nine people is paying for empty seats. Get names, not maybes, a week out.
If the group is bigger than one vehicle, two vehicles running together usually work better than one very large one in Denver. Two Executive Sprinters can take different routes home at the end of the night, which matters when guests live in Boulder, Aurora and Littleton. Our group transportation page covers multi-vehicle bookings.
Step 2: how many hours?
Most Denver party nights fall into one of three shapes.
Three hours: one venue and back. Pickup, a drive to a game at Ball Arena or a dinner, the event, the ride home. Three hours is the minimum on the hourly list, and with Denver's distances it is tight if the venue is out of town.
Five hours: the evening. Dinner, a show or a brewery crawl, and the ride home. The evening out and event night package is a 5-hour block, from US$475 in a Business Sedan to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter. This is the most common booking for birthdays and bachelor and bachelorette nights.
Six hours or more: the big night. Red Rocks with dinner beforehand, or a crawl across several neighbourhoods that ends late. Hourly bookings run up to 12 hours at checkout. Add hours at the booking stage rather than trying to extend at midnight.
A useful rule: add 30 minutes to whatever the group says. The first pickup always runs late, and there is always one more stop.
Step 3: plan the route around the venues
Big vehicles have more rules than cars, and Denver's venues are specific about them.
Red Rocks. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre defines an oversized vehicle as anything 6 feet 5 inches wide or more, front or back, and lists party bus limos among them. Oversized vehicles must drop off and pick up in Lower South Lot 2 and cannot stay overnight. Vehicles carrying at least 24 passengers that are at least 85% full can apply for an Upper North Lot reservation at least 48 hours ahead, first come, first served and not guaranteed. A 12-person party bus will not qualify, so plan on Lower South Lot 2 and the walk. Smaller vehicles that fit a standard space follow the limousine rules instead; our Red Rocks guide explains both.
The downtown arenas. Ball Arena and Empower Field at Mile High sit on the west side of downtown, and on event nights the surrounding streets close and fill. Agree a drop-off point and a pickup corner with the desk ahead of time, a short walk from the doors, so the vehicle is not stuck in the post-game queue.
RiNo, LoHi and LoDo. Denver's nightlife districts have tighter streets than the stadium area. A party bus can load and unload at a corner, but it cannot sit outside every brewery. Plan the route as a few stops with walks between them, and give the chauffeur the full list in advance.
The mountains. A party bus to a mountain town is a different booking. I-70 is subject to Colorado's Traction Law from September 1 to May 31, and the drive is long. For mountain celebrations, see the Vail car service page.
Step 4: what it costs, per person
| Night | Vehicle | Price | Per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3-hour game night, 6 people | Business SUV | US$360 | US$60 |
| 3-hour game night, 12 people | Executive Sprinter | US$570 | about US$48 |
| 5-hour evening, 8 people | Executive Sprinter | US$950 | about US$119 |
| 5-hour evening, 12 people | Executive Sprinter | US$950 | about US$79 |
| 6-hour Red Rocks night, 12 people | Executive Sprinter | US$1,140 | US$95 |
| Any night, party bus or stretch | Party Bus or Stretch SUV Limousine | web booker | divide by your head count |
Every fixed price includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes and the standard gratuity. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. For the full price list, see the Denver car service page; for the general method, how much does a limo cost.
Collect money before you book, not after. One person paying and chasing eleven others the following week is the most common way a good night ends badly. Our Denver limo rental prices guide lists what to check in any quote.
Questions to ask before you sign anything
These apply to any Denver party bus quote, from any operator.
- How many passengers is the vehicle licensed and insured for, seated? Not "fits about".
- Is the price all-in? Taxes, gratuity, fuel or service charges.
- When do the hours start and end? From the first pickup at your address, or from when the vehicle leaves its base?
- What does an extra hour cost, and can it be added on the night?
- Is there a cleaning or damage charge, and how much? Ask for the written policy.
- What are the conduct rules? Your chauffeur follows Colorado's local rules on conduct and drinks in the vehicle; plan celebrations for the venues, not the ride.
- What is the cancellation policy? Elly8.net: free more than 72 hours before pickup; 10% at 72 hours or less; 50% at 48 hours or less; 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, refunded to the original card.
- Who is actually driving? The PUC's page explains how to file a complaint about safety or overcharging, which is a good reason to know the operator's name before the night.
A planning timeline
Six weeks out. Pick the date and check it against the big nights: a Red Rocks show, a home game, a convention week downtown. Ask the group for a firm yes or no, and set a deadline.
Four weeks out. With a head count, choose the vehicle and price it in the web booker or on the Denver fares panel. Collect each person's share. Book. Cancellation is free until 72 hours before pickup, so an early booking costs nothing if the plan changes in good time.
One week out. Confirm the route and stops with the desk: first pickup, restaurants or venues, the drop-off and pickup points at each, the final drop-offs. If anyone needs to be dropped at a separate address at the end, add it now.
The day before. Check the weather if the route leaves the city. Share the chauffeur's name and number, which arrive before pickup, with one or two people in the group.
On the night. One person is the contact for the chauffeur. Everyone else just needs to be at the first pickup on time. The 30-minute buffer you added earlier is what keeps the last stop from being rushed.
Party bus or Sprinter?
A party bus is built around the cabin: the ride itself is part of the night, a room on wheels for the whole group. An Executive Sprinter is about getting twelve people and their bags somewhere comfortably at a fixed price. For a night where the ride is part of the party, choose the party bus in the web booker. For a night that is mainly about the destinations, such as a game, a show or a crawl, the Sprinter is usually the better buy and is easier to drop off at tight venues. Our Sprinter van with driver and party bus rental pages compare them across cities. For a bachelor or bachelorette group flying in, the Sprinter also covers arrival day: DEN to LoDo and Union Station is US$585 for up to twelve passengers with twelve bags, fixed, with the flight tracked and the chauffeur waiting inside at baggage claim. Frequently asked questions
How many people fit on a Denver party bus?
On the Elly8.net fleet page, the party bus class is listed for up to 12 passengers and the stretch SUV limousine for up to 16. The Executive Sprinter takes up to 12 with luggage. For larger groups, book two vehicles for the same times; they can split for the ride home.
What is the minimum number of hours?
Three hours on the Elly8.net hourly price list, from US$570 in an Executive Sprinter. Party buses are priced in the web booker for your date and hours. The 5-hour evening out package, US$950 in a Sprinter, suits most birthday and bachelor or bachelorette nights.
Can a party bus go to Red Rocks?
Yes, but Red Rocks classes party bus limos as oversized vehicles, so they must drop off and pick up in Lower South Lot 2, and cannot stay overnight. Only vehicles with at least 24 passengers that are 85% full can apply for an Upper North Lot reservation.
Is gratuity included?
Yes. On Elly8.net the standard gratuity is included in the price, along with taxes and the chauffeur. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. With other operators, ask whether gratuity is added as a percentage.
Can we drink on the party bus?
Your chauffeur follows Colorado's local rules on conduct and drinks in the vehicle, and those rules decide what is allowed. Plan the celebration around the restaurants, breweries and venues on the route, and ask about the conduct policy before booking.
How far ahead should we book?
For Saturday nights, big concerts and the spring celebration season, book as early as you have a firm head count. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, then 10%, 50% and 100% as pickup approaches.
