Moving one person is a car. Moving forty people is a plan: who lands when, who rides with whom, where the vehicles wait, how the luggage fits and what happens when one flight is two hours late. Elly8.net plans and books group transportation in 141 cities across the USA, Canada and Europe, using Executive Sprinters for up to 12, SUVs for up to 6, several vehicles under one reservation, and coaches on request when the group is too big for vans.
The building blocks are on every city price list at fixed, all-in prices: an Executive Sprinter from Las Vegas airport to the Strip is US$325, from JFK to Midtown US$550, and by the hour from US$170 to US$220 depending on the city. Coaches and minibuses are quoted by the desk for your dates. Every price includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes and standard gratuity.
How much does group transportation cost?
With Elly8.net, a 12-seat Executive Sprinter costs a fixed US$325 to US$560 for most airport transfers in North America and Europe, and US$170 to US$220 an hour for shuttles and loops, three-hour minimum. Per person that is often US$30 to US$50 a transfer. Coaches for larger groups are quoted by the desk.
Group prices are per vehicle, so the cost per head depends on how full each vehicle is. Here are fixed Sprinter prices from a selection of city price lists, with the cost per person for a full vehicle of 12.
| Route | Executive Sprinter, one way | Per person, 12 riding | Hourly for loops (3-hour min) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Las Vegas airport (LAS) to the Strip | US$325 | about US$27 | US$190 |
| Nashville (BNA) to downtown and Broadway | US$325 | about US$27 | US$190 |
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) to downtown | US$405 | about US$34 | US$220 |
| LAX to Beverly Hills | US$445 | about US$37 | US$210 |
| Miami (MIA) to Miami Beach | US$470 | about US$39 | US$200 |
| Heathrow (LHR) to Mayfair | US$510 | about US$43 | US$210 |
| JFK to Midtown Manhattan | US$550 | about US$46 | US$210 |
| O'Hare (ORD) to the Loop | US$560 | about US$47 | US$200 |
Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. For groups of 13 to 18, a Sprinter plus an SUV is often the most efficient mix; for 24, two Sprinters; above roughly 40, a coach becomes worth pricing.
Choosing vehicles for the size of the group
| Group size | Usual mix | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 4 to 6 | one Business or First Class SUV | luggage for everyone, one vehicle |
| 7 to 12 | one Executive Sprinter | keeps the group together, 12 bags |
| 13 to 18 | Sprinter plus SUV | flexible; the SUV can leave early |
| 19 to 24 | two Sprinters | two loads, or one loop each way |
| 25 to 40 | three or four Sprinters, or a minibus on request | staggered departures, more flexibility |
| 40 and more | coach on request, with Sprinters for VIPs and stragglers | lowest cost per head for one big move |
The rule of thumb behind the table: vans are better when the group arrives or leaves in waves, coaches are better when everyone moves at the same minute. A conference with arrivals spread across a day is a Sprinter job; a gala dinner where 50 people leave the hotel at 7 p.m. is a coach job, with one SUV held back for the speaker who is running late.
See every class on the fleet page, and read Sprinter van with driver for the difference between our Executive Sprinter (12 seats) and the six-seat Jet Sprinter.
Airport arrivals for groups
Group airport transfers fail in one way: the group is not on one flight. Two people land at 10:05, eight at 11:40, three at 2:15 and one misses the connection. We plan group arrivals from a manifest, not from a headcount.
- Send the manifest: names, flight numbers and arrival times, and how many bags each traveller has.
- We group the arrivals into vehicles by landing time, so nobody waits two hours for the last flight.
- Each pickup is flight-tracked, with a meet and greet inside arrivals and a name board, and complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. A delayed flight moves its own vehicle, not the whole plan.
- Late changes go to the 24/7 desk, which re-groups travellers when a flight changes.
This is how a company moving thirty people into Las Vegas for a trade show, or a family flying into Orlando from three cities, gets everyone to the hotel without a long wait at the kerb. For the full detail on meeting points, see airport transfers and meet and greet.
Conference and trade show shuttles
Large venues create their own transport problem: thousands of people leaving at the same time, taxi queues and rideshare pickup zones overloaded, and a team that needs to be at dinner across town in 30 minutes.
The Las Vegas Convention Center, which the LVCVA lists at 4.6 million square feet, and McCormick Place in Chicago, with 2.6 million square feet of exhibit halls, are two of the venues where groups book scheduled loops: hotel to show floor in the morning, back at the end of the day, and a dinner run in the evening. Book the week as hourly blocks or full days; a full-day Executive Sprinter is US$1,400 in Las Vegas and US$1,475 in Chicago.
For conferences, the desk works from your programme: session start times, the gala dinner, the off-site event and the departure day. See conference transportation and event transportation, and the city pages for Chicago and New York.
Weddings, tours, teams and offsites
Wedding guests. Loops between the guest hotels, the ceremony and the reception, timed around the ceremony, with a last run after the venue closes. See wedding limousine and guest shuttles.
Day trips and tours. Every city price list has a signature day trip in an Executive Sprinter, at a fixed price: the Hamptons from New York for US$1,935 (10 hours), Napa and Sonoma wineries for US$1,475 (8 hours), Niagara Falls from Toronto for US$2,025 (10 hours), Champagne from Paris for US$1,660 (10 hours). See private city tours and wine tours.
Corporate offsites and roadshows. A deal team or a leadership group moving between meetings. A ten-hour roadshow day in an Executive Sprinter is US$1,890 in New York or London and US$1,800 in Chicago or Miami.
Sports teams, choirs, bands and production crews. Kit and instruments in the back, one call time, one chauffeur who knows the venue's loading dock. See film and production transportation.
Cruise groups. Families and friends travelling together from the airport or hotel to the cruise terminal on embarkation day; see cruise port transfers.
Coaches on request
When the group is above roughly 40 and moves at the same time, a coach is the most economical answer. Coaches are not on our fixed price lists, because availability and minimum hours vary by city and season. The desk quotes them for your exact dates and routes and books them alongside Sprinters and SUVs under the same reservation, so you deal with one confirmation and one phone number.
In the United States, motorcoach operators that run interstate trips are registered with the federal motor carrier regulator; anyone can look up an operator's USDOT number and safety record on the FMCSA SAFER Company Snapshot. We only book partners holding the licences their jurisdiction requires.
In Toronto and the GTA, rides run on the Elly8 fleet and chauffeurs. Everywhere else, rides are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Partner vehicles are four model years or newer.
Group transport vs shuttles, rideshare and public transport
Be honest about the alternatives; sometimes they are the right answer.
Public transport and airport trains are excellent for small groups with light luggage travelling at off-peak hours. In Toronto, the UP Express links Pearson and Union Station; the operator's own UP Express site gives the journey as 28 minutes. For a family of four with carry-ons heading downtown, the train may well be the better choice.
Shared airport shuttles are cheaper per seat but stop for other passengers and run on their timetable, not your flight. See chauffeur vs airport shuttle.
Rideshare splits a group of twelve across three or more cars arriving at different times, at whatever price the app shows at that moment. See chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft.
Pre-booked group transport wins when the group has luggage, a timetable, a mixed set of flights, children who need seats, or a budget that must be fixed before anyone travels.
| Option | Group of 12 with luggage | Price known in advance | Waits for late flights | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Elly8.net Executive Sprinter | one vehicle | yes, fixed and all-in | yes, complimentary after a tracked landing | groups with bags and a timetable |
| Shared airport shuttle | seats on a shared van | per seat | no | solo travellers, flexible schedules |
| Rideshare XL | three or more cars | no, dynamic pricing | no | small groups, short city hops |
| Airport train | twelve tickets | yes | not applicable | light luggage, off-peak, near a station |
How booking works
- Send the plan: pickups and drop-offs, flight numbers for arrivals, or the hours for loops. For several vehicles, send the manifest or call the desk.
- Choose the vehicles: Executive Sprinters and SUVs from the city price list, or let the desk propose the mix, including coaches on request.
- Reserve now and pay by card, or book on account. Each vehicle gets its own confirmation by email, and the chauffeurs' details follow before the day.
Companies moving staff and clients regularly use corporate accounts with monthly invoicing and cost-centre references. Event planners and travel agents book under a travel-agent account, and hotels arranging guest transport use a hotel account. NDAs are available on request.
Cancellation is the same for every vehicle: more than 72 hours before pickup, free; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less, or a no-show, 100%. Refunds go to the original card.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can you move at once?
There is no fixed ceiling. An Executive Sprinter seats 12, an SUV 6, and we combine as many vehicles as the plan needs under one reservation. For groups above roughly 40 moving at the same time, the desk quotes coaches on request and pairs them with Sprinters or SUVs for VIPs and late arrivals.
Is group transportation priced per person?
No, per vehicle. A 12-seat Executive Sprinter from JFK to Midtown is US$550 all-in whether four or twelve people ride, which is about US$46 each when full. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. Coaches are quoted per vehicle for your dates.
What if our group arrives on different flights?
Send the manifest with every flight number. We group travellers into vehicles by landing time, track each flight, and meet each wave inside arrivals with a name board. A delayed flight moves only its own vehicle, and waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary.
Can you run shuttle loops between a hotel and a venue?
Yes. Loops are booked by the hour, three-hour minimum, from US$170 to US$220 an hour for an Executive Sprinter depending on the city. Tell us the start time, the finish time and the expected number of guests per hour, and we size the number of vehicles to keep waits short.
Do you provide coaches or motorcoaches?
Yes, on request. Coaches are not on our fixed city price lists because availability and minimum hours vary by city and season, so the desk quotes them for your dates and routes and books them under the same reservation as your Sprinters and SUVs.
Can we pay by invoice for a group booking?
Yes, through a corporate, travel-agent or hotel account, with monthly invoicing and cost-centre or event references. One-off groups can also pay by card at booking. Each vehicle has its own confirmation, so finance teams can match every ride to the invoice line.
How far ahead should we book group transportation?
For conferences, weddings and holiday periods, as soon as dates are fixed; Sprinters are the first class to sell out in busy weeks. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, so you can hold vehicles while the manifest is still changing.
Are child seats available for family groups?
Yes, on request when you book. List each child's age and weight so the right infant seat, child seat or booster is fitted in the correct vehicle before pickup. Families travelling together often find one Sprinter easier than several cars.
