A Calgary limo service from Elly8.net is a pre-booked sedan, SUV or Sprinter at a fixed, all-in price. From Calgary International Airport (YYC) to downtown Calgary the fare runs from US$105 in a Business Sedan to US$275 in an Executive Sprinter, with the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet included. All Elly8.net prices on this page are in US dollars.
Calgary bookings follow the city's calendar: energy-sector roadshows and meetings in the downtown towers, trade shows at the BMO Centre, ten days of the Calgary Stampede in July, game nights at the Saddledome and McMahon Stadium, and a steady flow of visitors heading west to the Rockies. Rides in Calgary are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much is a car service from YYC to downtown Calgary?
An Elly8.net car from YYC to downtown Calgary costs US$105 in a Business Sedan, US$140 in a Business SUV, US$185 in a First Class Sedan, US$170 in a First Class SUV and US$275 in an Executive Sprinter. The round trip starts at US$200. Prices are fixed and all-in; parking is billed at cost.
YYC is in the city's northeast, about 14 km (9 mi) from downtown, roughly 19 minutes on a clear road via Deerfoot Trail or Barlow Trail. Deerfoot is the main north-south freeway and the usual pinch point at the morning and afternoon peaks and in snow, which is when a fixed price is most useful.
| Route | Distance | Clear-road drive | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | First Class SUV | Executive Sprinter |

Arriving at YYC: where your chauffeur meets you
YYC has a domestic terminal and an international terminal, with numbered doors along the arrivals level that the airport uses for every kind of pickup. Flights from the United States and overseas arrive on the international side after Canadian customs.
With an Elly8.net booking, you do not need to find the right door. The chauffeur tracks your flight, waits inside arrivals with a name board and walks you to the car. Complimentary waiting starts after a tracked landing, which covers a normal customs queue and the baggage wait. Send your flight number when you book, and tell us if you are travelling with skis, golf clubs or a lot of luggage for a mountain week. See airport transfers and airport meet and greet.
For departures, the desk sets the pickup from your flight time and terminal. From downtown, allow for Deerfoot at the afternoon peak, and in winter for the first heavy snowfall of the season, when the whole city slows down.
Bus, taxi, airport sedan, rideshare or a pre-booked car
YYC publishes clear information on every ground option, so this comparison uses the airport's own numbers. Taxi, sedan and transit fares are in Canadian dollars; Elly8.net prices are in US dollars.
| Option | Price, YYC to downtown | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calgary Transit Route 500 express | C$4.00 adult cash fare, valid 90 min | longer than a car, limited stops via Centre Street | One traveller, light bags |
| Taxi (metered) | about C$40 to C$45 under normal conditions | 20-35 min | Short-notice trips |
| Airport sedan (flat zone fare) | C$68.75 to downtown | 20-35 min | On-demand sedan without a booking |
| Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) | varies with demand | 20-35 min | Flexible, off-peak trips |
| Elly8.net Business Sedan | US$105 fixed, all-in | 20-35 min, door to door | Late flights, meetings, a guaranteed pickup |
| Elly8.net Executive Sprinter | US$275 fixed, all-in | 20-35 min, door to door | Groups, families, ski and golf trips |
Transit. The airport's public transit page says there is no dedicated LRT line to YYC; Route 500 is an express bus between the airport and downtown via Centre Street, and Route 100 connects to the Saddletowne LRT station. Calgary Transit's adult cash fare is C$4.00, valid for 90 minutes, and tickets are sold at machines by the bus stops.
Taxi. According to the airport's taxi and sedan page, taxi stands are on the arrivals level at doors 1, 9 and 15, fares are metered, and the approximate fare to downtown under normal conditions is C$40 to C$45. The same page lists on-demand airport sedans with a flat zone fare of C$68.75 to downtown.
Rideshare. The airport says Uber and Lyft are the only authorised ride-app operators at YYC, with pickups on the arrivals level by doors 3, 12 and 15; see its ride app page. Prices follow demand, which spikes during the Stampede and on big game nights.
A pre-booked chauffeur is the better fit for groups with bags, families who need child seats, executives going straight to a meeting, and anyone landing during Stampede week, when demand for every kind of ride is at its peak. For one traveller with a carry-on at midday, a taxi or the bus is perfectly sensible. See chauffeur vs taxi and Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur.
Downtown, the Beltline and where we drive every day
Downtown Calgary is compact and mostly a grid, with the office towers of the energy sector along the central avenues, the Stephen Avenue pedestrian mall, the Calgary Tower and the main hotels within a few blocks. The Plus 15 skywalk network links many buildings above street level, so the desk agrees the exact street entrance for each pickup.
South of the tracks, the Beltline and 17th Avenue have restaurants and nightlife, and Stampede Park sits on the east side of the Beltline beside the Elbow River. Inglewood and East Village are close by, and the communities west of downtown lead toward the Trans-Canada Highway and the mountains. An hourly chauffeur, from US$110 per hour in a Business Sedan to US$220 per hour in an Executive Sprinter with a 3-hour minimum, suits a day of meetings across all of these. The private city highlights tour, from US$440 in a Business Sedan to US$880 in an Executive Sprinter, covers downtown, the river parks and viewpoints; see private city tours and Visit Calgary for what is on.
The Calgary Stampede: July 9 to 18, 2027
The Calgary Stampede runs from July 9 to 18, 2027, ten days of rodeo, chuckwagon racing, the evening grandstand show, concerts and corporate hospitality at Stampede Park and across the city. Stampede week is the busiest week of the year for cars in Calgary: hotel rooms fill, corporate parties run every night, and streets around the park and downtown close for the parade and events.
Plan Stampede cars early. A common pattern is a YYC transfer on arrival, an hourly car each evening to move between the grounds and a circuit of corporate parties, and a late return to the hotel. The evening out and event night package is priced from US$550 in a Business Sedan to US$1,100 in an Executive Sprinter, and an Executive Sprinter keeps a client group together. The chauffeur drops you at the closest practical point to the gate you need and meets you at an agreed spot afterwards. The chauffeur follows local rules on alcohol, and there is no drinking in the vehicle. See event transportation.
BMO Centre, the Saddledome and McMahon Stadium
The BMO Centre at Stampede Park reopened after a major expansion in June 2024 and is now Western Canada's largest convention facility, with events such as the Global Energy Show. The Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, downtown a few blocks away, handles smaller conferences. Trade-show weeks bring exhibitor and delegate traffic between downtown hotels and the park, and an hourly or multi-day schedule keeps teams moving; see conference and trade show transportation.
The Scotiabank Saddledome, also at Stampede Park, is home to the Calgary Flames and hosts concerts, including Greta Van Fleet on July 8, 2027, the night before the Stampede opens. McMahon Stadium, in the northwest, is home to the Calgary Stampeders and hosts the 113th Grey Cup on November 15, 2026, with a week of festival events in the city beforehand. Grey Cup week in November means cold weather and full hotels, so pre-booked cars from downtown and YYC are worth arranging early. See sports event transportation.
Banff and Lake Louise: the signature day trip
The signature Calgary day out goes west on the Trans-Canada Highway into Banff National Park. The 10-hour Banff and Lake Louise package is priced from US$1,015 in a Business Sedan, US$1,290 in a Business SUV and US$1,660 in a First Class Sedan to US$2,025 in an Executive Sprinter, with one chauffeur and one vehicle for the day. Banff and Lake Louise Tourism puts Banff about 1.5 hours from Calgary and Lake Louise about 45 minutes beyond Banff.
Everyone who stops in the park needs a national park pass. Parks Canada's Banff fees page lists a daily adult pass at C$12.25 and a family or group pass at C$24.50 for up to seven people arriving in one vehicle, with youth 17 and under free. Buy passes online before the trip.
Two access rules shape the day. Lake Louise Lakeshore has paid parking during the summer shuttle season, listed at C$42.00 per vehicle from May 15 to October 12 in 2026, billed at cost. Moraine Lake Road is closed to personal vehicles year-round, so Moraine Lake is reached by Parks Canada shuttle from the Lake Louise Park and Ride or by a licensed operator; our Banff car service page explains exactly how that works. A typical day is the town of Banff and the Banff Gondola in the morning, lunch, then Lake Louise in the afternoon, with Moraine Lake by shuttle in season.
If you would rather stay in the mountains, the Banff page has one-way YYC to Banff prices from US$370 in a Business Sedan.
Corporate travel and energy-sector roadshows
Calgary is the headquarters city for much of Canada's energy industry, and roadshows here move between downtown towers, often with lunch in a private dining room and a flight out of YYC at the end of the day. The corporate roadshow day is priced from US$990 in a Business Sedan to US$1,980 in an Executive Sprinter, with one chauffeur and one vehicle for the whole programme, and a full-day chauffeur from US$810 to US$1,620. See investor roadshows and multi-meeting days.
A corporate account adds monthly invoicing, saved traveller profiles and NDAs on request. Our corporate car service page explains how assistants book multi-stop days, and private jet arrivals are covered on private jet and FBO car service.
Weddings, proms and nights out
Calgary weddings use downtown hotels, ranches in the foothills and venues toward the mountains, often with guests spread across several hotels. A First Class Sedan for the couple and an Executive Sprinter for the wedding party is a common plan; see wedding limousine and guest shuttles. For graduation season, see prom limousine, and for larger groups, Sprinter van with driver.

An Elly8.net Business Sedan from YYC to downtown Calgary is US$105, a Business SUV US$140, a First Class Sedan US$185, a First Class SUV US$170 and an Executive Sprinter US$275. The round trip starts at US$200. Prices are fixed and all-in, covering the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet. Parking and extra waiting are billed at cost.
Where will my chauffeur meet me at YYC?
Inside arrivals with a name board, at the domestic or international terminal depending on your flight. The chauffeur tracks your flight, and complimentary waiting starts after a tracked landing, so a slow customs hall or a late bag is covered. You receive the chauffeur's contact details before you fly.
Is a taxi cheaper than a car service from YYC?
Often, for one or two people. The airport puts the metered taxi fare to downtown at about C$40 to C$45 under normal driving conditions. A pre-booked car is fixed in advance, waits inside arrivals and suits groups, families with child seats, business travellers and Stampede week, when every kind of ride is in heavy demand.
Do I need a park pass for a Banff day trip from Calgary?
Yes. Everyone stopping in Banff National Park needs a pass. Parks Canada lists a daily adult pass at C$12.25 and a family or group pass at C$24.50 for up to seven people in one vehicle, with youth 17 and under free. Park passes are not included in the day-trip price.
Can you drive us to Moraine Lake?
Moraine Lake Road is closed to personal vehicles year-round. Access is limited to Parks Canada shuttles, licensed commercial operators holding a Moraine Lake Road Licence of Occupation and registered guests of Moraine Lake Lodge. On the day trip, the chauffeur takes you to the Lake Louise Park and Ride for the shuttle in season.
How early should I book for the Calgary Stampede?
As early as possible. The 2027 Stampede runs from July 9 to 18, and cars, hotels and drivers across the city are in heavy demand all week. Book YYC transfers and evening cars together, and send the desk your party schedule so the chauffeur can plan around road closures near Stampede Park.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, on request. Add the number and ages of the children when booking and the chauffeur installs the seats before pickup. Families heading to the mountains with skis or a week of luggage usually choose a Business SUV or an Executive Sprinter.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less it is 50%, and at 24 hours or less or a no-show it is 100%. Refunds go to the original card. Contact the desk early if your flight changes.
