St. Louis is a city of short distances and big event nights. The airport is a straight run in on I-70, downtown packs the Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, Enterprise Center and the convention complex into a few blocks, and Clayton and the Central West End sit just west. A pre-booked Elly8.net chauffeur makes all of it predictable. St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) to downtown St. Louis is fixed at US$165 in a Business Sedan up to US$430 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in.
Rides in St. Louis are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Below: the two terminals at Lambert, downtown and the venues, conventions, Forest Park and the neighbourhoods, and a fair comparison with MetroLink, taxis and app rides.
How much is a car service from STL to downtown St. Louis?
An Elly8.net car from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) to downtown St. Louis costs US$165 in a Business Sedan, US$215 in a Business SUV, US$265 in a First Class SUV, US$290 in a First Class Sedan and US$430 in an Executive Sprinter. Prices are per vehicle and all-in, including taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet.
The drive is about 15 miles (24 km), roughly 23 minutes on a clear road. Weekday rush hours on I-70 and I-64 and game nights downtown add time, but your price is fixed and does not change. A round trip, airport to downtown and back, is US$315 in a Business Sedan up to US$820 in an Executive Sprinter.
Downtown is our reference point. Clayton offices, Central West End hotels, Chesterfield and the western suburbs are quoted by exact address in the web booker, fixed before you pay. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
Arriving at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL)
Lambert has two terminals, and they work differently, so tell us your airline when you book. According to the airport's parking and transportation page, app rides load at Terminal 1 from Door 6 on the Departure Level and at Terminal 2 from Door 12 on the Arrivals Level. Taxis load at Terminal 1 from Door 14 to the Garage Yellow Level and at Terminal 2 across from Door 12 in the Terminal 2 garage.
Your Elly8.net chauffeur tracks the flight, waits for you in the arrivals area of the right terminal with a name board, helps with the bags and walks you to the vehicle. There is complimentary waiting after a tracked landing, so a late connection does not cost you anything. For an early departure, the chauffeur collects you at your hotel and drops you at the correct terminal door. Our airport meet and greet page explains the process.

Downtown: the Arch, the ballpark and the arena
Gateway Arch National Park. The Gateway Arch is the reason many visitors come. Visitors enter through the Gateway Arch Visitor Center, which faces Fourth Street and the Old Courthouse, and the site asks guests to allow at least 15 minutes for security. Tram rides to the top sell out early and often, so reserve tickets in advance and give us the time. Your chauffeur drops you on Fourth Street near the entrance and collects you there, which spares you the garage. The site also runs riverboat sightseeing and dinner cruises on the riverfront. The National Park Service page covers the park itself.
Busch Stadium. The Cardinals play at Busch Stadium, 700 Clark Street, a short walk from many downtown hotels. Game days fill the surrounding streets before the first pitch and after the last out, and we plan drop-offs and pickups a few blocks away to avoid the worst of it.
Enterprise Center. The St. Louis Blues play at Enterprise Center, 1401 Clark Avenue, which also hosts touring concerts and college basketball; upcoming dates include Mizzou vs. SLU men's basketball on November 6 and Journey on November 16, 2026. For a game or a concert, our evening out and event night package, US$475 in a Business Sedan up to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter, covers dinner, the event and the ride back with the car waiting. See sports event transportation for game-day timing.
Union Station. West of the core, St. Louis Union Station combines a landmark hotel with the St. Louis Aquarium and the St. Louis Wheel, a popular family stop that pairs easily with the Arch on a city tour.
America's Center and conventions
The America's Center convention complex downtown, including The Dome, hosts conventions, trade shows and big public events. Current listings on Explore St. Louis, which promotes the complex, include Monster Jam and GalaxyCon St. Louis 2026 at The Dome and the Gateway Dirt Nationals.
For delegates, exhibitors and corporate groups, we book STL arrivals by flight, hourly cars for client dinners in the Central West End or Clayton, and Executive Sprinters for team moves between hotels and the halls. A corporate roadshow day runs from US$855 in a Business Sedan to US$1,710 in an Executive Sprinter, with the chauffeur staying with you all day and NDAs on request. Our conference transportation and roadshow chauffeur pages explain how we plan multi-stop days, and a corporate account gives monthly invoicing.
Forest Park, the Central West End and Clayton
Forest Park, west of downtown, is the city's great public park and home to the Saint Louis Zoo and the Saint Louis Art Museum; Forest Park Forever keeps a calendar of events there. The Central West End, on the park's eastern edge, is a walkable district of hotels and restaurants, and Clayton, just beyond the park, is the county seat and a busy office district.
These neighbourhoods are where many business visitors actually spend their days. An hourly chauffeur from US$95 an hour in a Business Sedan, three-hour minimum, covers meetings in Clayton, lunch in the Central West End and an evening downtown without parking at each stop. For a first visit, our private city highlights tour, US$380 in a Business Sedan up to US$760 in an Executive Sprinter, takes in the Arch, Forest Park, the historic neighbourhoods and the riverfront.
St. Louis does not have a published day-trip package on this page. For a longer day out, such as Missouri wine country to the west or a trip along the river, book the full-day chauffeur, US$700 in a Business Sedan up to US$1,400 in an Executive Sprinter, and see our wine country tours page for how we plan tasting days. Your chauffeur follows local rules on drinks in the vehicle.
MetroLink, taxi, app ride or Elly8.net from STL
St. Louis has a light-rail line straight from the airport into downtown, and for many travellers it is the right choice.
| Option | Price to downtown | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| MetroLink light rail | US$2.50 cash base fare | stations at both terminals; buy before boarding | Solo travellers with light bags, daytime |
| Taxi | metered, plus a US$4 airport use fee per pickup | taxi zones at both terminal garages | One or two travellers who want door-to-door |
| App ride (Uber, Lyft) | varies with demand; higher after games | T1 Door 6 Departure Level; T2 Door 12 Arrivals | Flexible travellers at quiet times |
| Elly8.net Business Sedan | US$165 fixed, all-in | pre-booked, flight tracked, met inside | Business arrivals, late flights, fixed budget |
| Elly8.net Business SUV | US$215 fixed, all-in | pre-booked, flight tracked, met inside | Families with child seats and luggage |
| Elly8.net Executive Sprinter | US$430 fixed, all-in | pre-booked, flight tracked, met inside | Groups, conference teams, wedding parties |
The airport says MetroLink stations are at Terminal 1 through Exit Door 1 on the Ticketing Level and at Terminal 2 through Exit Door 12 via the parking garage, and that advance fare is required. Metro Transit lists the rail cash base fare at US$2.50. Taxi fares depend on the final destination, and every taxi pickup carries a US$4 airport use fee, according to the airport.
The honest view: a solo traveller with a carry-on heading downtown in daylight should strongly consider MetroLink; it costs a fraction of any car. A taxi or app ride is fine for a quick trip at a quiet time. The fixed-price chauffeur makes sense for late arrivals, for families who need child seats, for groups whose luggage will not fit a standard car, for addresses away from the rail line such as Clayton or Chesterfield, for a meeting soon after landing, and on game nights when app prices rise. Compare the categories in chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft and chauffeur vs taxi.
Weddings, proms and celebrations
St. Louis weddings move between historic downtown hotels, churches across the city and venues in the county. We book First Class Sedans for couples and Executive Sprinters for guest shuttles, with return runs timed to the end of the reception; see our wedding limousine page. For proms and graduations a parent can book and pay, and the chauffeur follows local rules throughout the night.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a limo or car service from STL to downtown St. Louis?
The fixed, all-in price is US$165 in a Business Sedan, US$215 in a Business SUV, US$265 in a First Class SUV, US$290 in a First Class Sedan and US$430 in an Executive Sprinter. That is per vehicle and includes taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet; tolls and parking are billed at cost.
Which terminal will my chauffeur meet me at?
Lambert has Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and your airline decides which one you use. Give us your airline and flight number at booking, and the chauffeur waits in the arrivals area of the right terminal with a name board, tracking the flight so an early or late landing is handled.
Is MetroLink a better option than a car service?
For a solo traveller with light luggage going downtown in daylight, MetroLink is usually the best value, at a US$2.50 cash base fare with stations at both terminals. A pre-booked car is better for late flights, families with child seats, groups with luggage, and destinations away from the rail line.
Can you take us to a Cardinals or Blues game?
Yes. Our evening out and event night package, US$475 to US$950 depending on the vehicle, covers dinner, the game at Busch Stadium or Enterprise Center and the ride back with the car waiting. We plan drop-offs a few blocks from the stadium to avoid the heaviest traffic.
Are child seats available?
Yes, on request. Tell us how many children are travelling and which seat types they need when you book, and the seats are fitted before pickup. For a family with luggage, a Business SUV at US$215 from STL is usually the most comfortable option.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Your chauffeur tracks the flight and adjusts to the actual landing time, and waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary. Waiting beyond the included time is billed at cost. If your flight is cancelled, call the 24/7 desk and we will move or cancel the booking under the policy.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free more than 72 hours before pickup; 10% at 72 hours or less; 50% at 48 hours or less; 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. Refunds go back to the original card. Convention planners booking many cars should book early and adjust names as plans settle.
Do you offer corporate accounts in St. Louis?
Yes. Corporate accounts get monthly invoicing, one point of contact at the 24/7 desk and group bookings for conventions at America's Center. We can sign an NDA on request for confidential roadshows, and the same account works in every Elly8.net city.
