An Ibiza private driver booked through Elly8.net is a chauffeured car at a fixed, all-in price agreed before you fly, charged to your card in US dollars. A transfer from Ibiza Airport (IBZ) to Ibiza Town starts at US$120 in a business sedan and runs to US$315 in an Executive Sprinter. The chauffeur tracks your flight, waits in arrivals with your name and, for a villa, arrives knowing how to find a house at the end of a dirt track.
Rides in Ibiza are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Ibiza is small, but in summer it is one of the hardest places in Europe to find a car on demand. This page covers the airport, the towns and villa areas, club nights, marinas and yacht handovers, hourly hire across the island, and a fair comparison with the island's taxis, buses and rideshare.
How much is a car from Ibiza airport to Ibiza Town?
A fixed Elly8.net transfer from Ibiza Airport (IBZ) to Ibiza Town costs from US$120 in a business sedan, US$160 in a business SUV and US$315 in an Executive Sprinter. The price is per vehicle and includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet in arrivals. Parking and any extra waiting are billed at cost.
Ibiza Town is the reference point: the hotels around the port and Marina Botafoch, the old walled town of Dalt Vila above them, and the beach hotels of Talamanca nearby. The airport is about 7 km (5 mi) away, roughly 16 minutes on a clear road. A round trip costs from US$230 in a business sedan to US$600 in a Sprinter, and a First Class Sedan is US$210 one way.
For the rest of the island, the web booker gives a fixed quote by address. Sant Antoni on the west coast and Santa Eulària on the east are each about 22 km (14 mi) from the airport, around half an hour on a clear road, and the villa areas inland and in the north take longer on smaller roads.

Ibiza Airport is a single-terminal airport in the south of the island, near Sant Jordi and the salt flats. Most North American travellers reach Ibiza by connecting through Madrid, Barcelona, London or another European hub; if your connection is inside the Schengen area, you clear passport control there and Ibiza feels like a domestic arrival.
Summer is a different airport from winter. On peak Friday to Sunday afternoons, dozens of flights land within a few hours, baggage reclaim slows, and the queues at the taxi rank stretch along the kerb. Give us your flight number: the chauffeur tracks the landing and waits in arrivals with a name board, and waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary. Book an Ibiza airport transfer for the fixed fare, and see meet and greet for how the meeting works. Private jets also use Ibiza Airport, and the chauffeur meets you where the handler directs; see private jet and FBO transfers.
Taxi, bus, rideshare or a pre-booked driver
Ibiza has a licensed taxi fleet with regulated fares and a public bus network linking the airport with Ibiza Town and the main resorts. Out of season, either works well, and we would not tell a solo traveller with a backpack in May to book a car.
The difficulty is July and August, when demand from visitors far outstrips the number of taxis. The problem is worst at the moments that matter: arrivals peaks at the airport, and the hours after clubs close. Rideshare apps exist on the island but do not change the basic shortage of cars at peak times, and pricing moves with demand.
| Option | Price | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Public bus | Per-person fare | Scheduled stops in towns and resorts | Solo travellers staying near a stop |
| Ibiza taxi | Regulated fare | Rank queues at summer peaks | Off-season trips and short hops |
| Rideshare | Varies with demand | Depends on cars available | Light travellers, outside the peaks |
| Elly8.net business sedan | US$120 fixed to Ibiza Town, per vehicle | Booked in advance, door to door | Villas, groups, club nights, families, fixed budgets |
A pre-booked driver solves three Ibiza problems. The car is there when you land, whatever the queue. It finds the villa: many addresses are a house name on a numbered lane, not a street number, and a driver with directions saves an hour of phone calls. And on a club night, the car comes back at the time you arranged rather than leaving you on a verge at 6 a.m. Compare more on chauffeur vs taxi, chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft and chauffeur vs renting a car.
Villas, unpaved lanes and choosing the right vehicle
A large share of Ibiza visitors stay in private villas, and many of the best are reached by an unpaved camí, a farm track that can be steep, narrow and rutted. Two things help.
Send the directions. When you book, give the villa name, the GPS pin from the rental agency, the gate code arrangements and a phone number for the house manager. The desk passes them to the partner, who checks the route in daylight if needed.
Book by luggage and road, not headcount. A Business SUV or First Class SUV has the ground clearance and luggage space for a dirt track and a week of cases. A sedan is fine for hotels in town and on the main roads. For a group arriving together, an Executive Sprinter carries everyone and their bags in one trip, though the very narrowest tracks may need two SUVs instead; the desk will say so when it reviews the address.
Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer, seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley. The fleet page shows seats and luggage by class.
Ibiza Town, Dalt Vila and the resorts
Ibiza Town and Dalt Vila. The port, the Marina Botafoch and Ibiza Magna marinas and the shopping lanes of La Marina sit below Dalt Vila, the walled old town listed by UNESCO, whose upper streets are largely closed to traffic. The chauffeur drops you at the gates or the nearest permitted point. The Ibiza tourist board covers Dalt Vila and the town.
Playa d'en Bossa. The long beach south of Ibiza Town, close to the airport, holds big hotels and some of the island's best-known clubs.
Sant Antoni. The west coast town is known for sunset bars and its bay; the coves around Cala Conta are a short drive further.
Santa Eulària and the north. The east coast and the north of the island are quieter, with family hotels, agroturismos and the villa areas around Sant Joan, Sant Carles and Sant Llorenç.
To see the island, book a car by the hour: US$95 an hour in a business sedan, US$120 in a business SUV, US$155 in a First Class Sedan and US$190 in an Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum. The private island highlights tour costs from US$380 in a business sedan to US$760 in a Sprinter, and the full-day chauffeur from US$700 in a business sedan to US$1,400 in a Sprinter, covering a beach club lunch, a hilltop church village and sunset on the west coast. See private city tours and hourly chauffeur.
Club nights and the summer season
From late spring to early autumn, the island's superclubs and beach clubs run their summer seasons, with opening and closing parties announced by the venues each year. The big clubs are spread across Ibiza Town, Playa d'en Bossa and Sant Rafel in the middle of the island, which means a night out is usually a drive, not a walk.
The evening out and event night package costs from US$475 in a business sedan, US$600 in a business SUV and US$775 in a First Class Sedan to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter. It covers dinner, the drive to the club and the ride home, with a return time you set and change with the desk. The chauffeur follows local rules in the vehicle itself. See concert and festival transportation and event transportation.
Groups of six to twelve book an Executive Sprinter with driver so everyone leaves together. For larger parties, the desk can arrange more vehicles; see group transportation.
Marinas, yacht handovers and Formentera
Ibiza is a busy yacht charter base, and handover days bring guests from the airport straight to the marina with luggage, provisions and sometimes a tight embarkation time. The commercial port is run by the Balearic port authority, Ports de Balears, which also handles the ferry terminals for Formentera; the private marinas around the harbour include Marina Ibiza, Marina Botafoch and Ibiza Magna.
Tell the desk the marina, berth or pontoon and the captain's contact when you book. The chauffeur drives to the closest vehicle access point and helps with luggage to the gangway area, as the marina allows. On disembarkation day, the car meets you at the marina and takes you to the airport or your hotel. For Formentera, the ferries leave from the port in Ibiza Town; we bring you to the terminal, and a partner can meet you again on your return.
Weddings and corporate events
Ibiza weddings are mostly villa, finca and beach club events with guests spread around the island. A First Class Sedan for the couple and Sprinters for guest shuttles from hotels to the venue is the usual plan; see wedding transportation.
For company retreats, incentive trips and brand events, a corporate account gives your company fixed fares at IBZ, monthly invoicing and NDAs on request. The corporate roadshow day costs from US$855 in a business sedan to US$1,710 in a Sprinter. Villa agencies, yacht brokers and event planners book on account through travel agent accounts, and hotels through hotel accounts. See corporate car service.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a car from Ibiza airport to Ibiza Town?
A fixed Elly8.net transfer from IBZ to Ibiza Town costs from US$120 in a business sedan, US$160 in a business SUV, US$210 in a First Class Sedan and US$315 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle. It includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet. Parking and extra waiting are billed at cost.
Can you take us to a villa on an unpaved road?
Yes. Send the villa name, the GPS pin, gate arrangements and the house manager's number when you book. For dirt tracks, choose a Business SUV or First Class SUV for ground clearance and luggage. If a lane is too narrow for a Sprinter, the desk will suggest two SUVs.
Why pre-book when Ibiza has taxis?
Out of season, a taxi from the rank is often fine. In July and August, demand far exceeds the island's cars, and the queues are longest at airport peaks and after the clubs close. A pre-booked driver is waiting when you land and comes back at the time you set.
Can we book a car for a club night?
Yes. The evening out and event night package costs from US$475 in a business sedan to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter and covers dinner, the club and the ride home. You set the return time and can change it through the 24/7 desk during the night.
Do you meet guests at the marina for yacht charters?
Yes. Give the marina, berth and captain's contact. The chauffeur drives to the closest vehicle access point and helps with luggage, as the marina allows, and meets you again on disembarkation day for the airport run. We also cover the ferry terminal for Formentera.
What if my flight is late?
The chauffeur follows the tracked landing time, and waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary, which covers slow summer baggage reclaim at IBZ. If your connection is missed or your flight diverted, contact the 24/7 desk and we move the booking to your new arrival.
Are child seats available?
Yes. Ask for child or booster seats when you book and give the children's ages; the partner fits them before pickup. On villa holidays, an SUV or Sprinter leaves room for seats, a stroller and beach gear alongside the cases.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less a 10% fee applies, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. Refunds return to the original card. Summer weekends book out early; the terms are the same.
