A Madrid chauffeur booked through Elly8.net is a private car and driver at a fixed, all-in price set before you leave home, charged to your card in US dollars. A transfer from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) to the Salamanca district and the Golden Triangle starts at US$120 in a business sedan and runs to US$315 in an Executive Sprinter. The chauffeur tracks your flight and waits in arrivals at the right terminal with your name.
Rides in Madrid are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Below: the four Barajas terminals and where you are met, the hotel and business districts, IFEMA and the fairs that fill it, the stadium nights, Toledo and Segovia, and a fair comparison with Madrid's flat-fare taxi, the airport express bus and rideshare.
How much is a car from Madrid airport to the city?
A fixed Elly8.net transfer from Madrid-Barajas (MAD) to the Salamanca district and the Golden Triangle costs from US$120 in a business sedan, US$160 in a business SUV and US$315 in an Executive Sprinter. The price is per vehicle and includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet in arrivals. Tolls and parking are billed at cost.
Salamanca and the Golden Triangle are the reference point because they hold most of Madrid's luxury hotels, the boutiques of Calle Serrano and Calle Ortega y Gasset, and the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofía museums along the Paseo del Prado. The same fares cover most central addresses, including Gran Vía, the Royal Palace area and the Castellana hotels. A round trip from MAD costs from US$230 in a business sedan to US$600 in a Sprinter, and a First Class Sedan is US$210 one way.
Barajas is about 19 km (12 mi) from Salamanca, roughly 19 minutes on a clear road. That clear road is the M-11 or the A-2 outside the rush; on weekday mornings, on Friday evenings and on the opening day of a big fair at IFEMA, both slow sharply. Your fare stays fixed whatever the traffic does.
Barajas T1, T2, T3 and T4: where you are met
| From MAD to Salamanca and the Golden Triangle | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class Sedan | First Class SUV | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| One way | US$120 | US$160 | US$210 | US$195 | US$315 |
| Round trip | US$230 | US$305 | US$400 | US$375 | US$600 |
Madrid-Barajas is spread across two separate complexes. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 sit side by side in the older building on the western side of the airport and handle many European, North American and other international airlines. Terminal 4 and its satellite T4S are a separate building several kilometres away, home to Iberia and its oneworld partners; long-haul passengers usually arrive at T4S and take the underground train to the main T4 building for bags and customs. A free airport bus links the two complexes, but nobody wants to make that trip with luggage after a red-eye.
That is why the flight number matters. The chauffeur checks which terminal your flight uses, follows the tracked landing and waits in that arrivals hall with a name board. Morning arrivals from New York, Miami, Chicago, Toronto and Montreal often coincide, and passport control at T4 can queue; waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary. Book a Madrid airport transfer for the fixed fare, and read meet and greet for how the meeting works inside the terminal.
For departures, tell the desk your airline and terminal. A business SUV takes four passengers with large cases; an Executive Sprinter suits families, teams heading to IFEMA with sample cases, or groups going on to Seville by road.
Madrid's flat-fare taxi, the airport express bus, rideshare or a chauffeur
Madrid makes the comparison easy because its airport taxi fare is fixed. Under the city's taxi tariffs, a taxi between the airport and any address inside the M-30 ring road costs a flat €33, around the clock, with no supplements added; the city council kept that fare unchanged for 2026. Trips to addresses outside the M-30 run on the meter, with a €22 minimum covering the first 9 km. The tourism board summarises the rules on getting around Madrid by taxi.
The Airport Express bus (line 203) runs 24 hours a day from T4, T2 and T1 to O'Donnell, Plaza de Cibeles and, in the daytime, Atocha station. A single ticket costs €5.10, and buses leave about every 15 to 20 minutes by day and every 35 minutes at night, according to esmadrid.com. Metro line 8 also serves the airport, with stations at T1-T2-T3 and at T4.
| Option | Price | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Airport Express bus (line 203) | €5.10 per person | About 40 min to the centre, plus the walk from the stop | Solo travellers near Cibeles or Atocha |
| Metro line 8 | Metro fare, per person | Train plus changes to most hotels | Light bags, daytime |
| Madrid taxi | €33 flat inside the M-30 | Same roads as any car | Two travellers going inside the M-30 |
| Rideshare | Varies with demand | Pickup at the designated zone | Light travellers comfortable with apps |
| Elly8.net business sedan | US$120 fixed, per vehicle | Door to door, about 19 min on a clear road | Families, groups, executives, child seats, fixed budgets |
Fairly put: the €33 taxi is good value for two people with normal luggage heading to a central hotel, and the express bus is hard to beat for one traveller with a carry-on staying near Cibeles. The chauffeur is the better buy when there is a queue at the rank at T4 after a wave of arrivals, when you need a car seat or an SUV for six cases, when a meeting starts an hour after landing, when you want the same driver for the whole stay, or when the address is outside the M-30 at La Moraleja, Pozuelo or the business parks. Hotel districts and business addresses
Salamanca and the Golden Mile. Calle Serrano, Ortega y Gasset and Velázquez form Madrid's luxury shopping grid, with hotels and private clubs in between. Drop-offs on Serrano are tight at peak hours, so the chauffeur often uses the side streets.
The Paseo del Prado and the Golden Triangle of Art. The Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Reina Sofía line the boulevard, with grand hotels at Plaza de Neptuno and Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo. This is also the stretch that closes for the 12 October national day parade.
Gran Vía, Sol and the Royal Palace. The historic centre has extensive restricted-traffic areas around Sol and the Palace. The chauffeur drops you at the nearest permitted point and agrees the pickup spot with you.
The Castellana business axis. Paseo de la Castellana runs north past the AZCA financial district, the Bernabéu stadium and the Cuatro Torres skyscrapers. Banks, law firms and consultancies cluster here, and most roadshow days in Madrid run up and down this one avenue. Beyond it, the corporate campuses at Las Tablas, Alcobendas and the A-1 corridor are best reached by car.
IFEMA, the Bernabéu and Madrid's 2026-2027 calendar
IFEMA Madrid, the city's main fairground, sits beside the airport: about 7 km (5 mi) from Barajas and 15 km (9 mi) from Salamanca. That makes an airport-to-stand transfer quick, but the M-40 and M-11 around the site fill up at opening and closing time on big days. These are the next editions published by organisers:
- ESMO Congress 2026, 23 to 27 October 2026, Europe's largest oncology congress, at IFEMA.
- NFL Madrid Game, Sunday 8 November 2026, Atlanta Falcons against the Cincinnati Bengals at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on the Castellana, with road closures around the stadium on game day.
- FITUR 2027, 20 to 24 January 2027, the international tourism fair at IFEMA, with three trade days followed by a public weekend.
- Mutua Madrid Open, 19 April to 2 May 2027, the combined ATP and WTA tennis event at the Caja Mágica in south Madrid, where parking is limited (tournament site).
- UEFA Champions League Final, Saturday 5 June 2027, at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano on the east side of the city.
- Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix, 10 to 12 September 2027, on the MADRING circuit around IFEMA, per the Formula 1 2027 calendar. Expect road closures in the Valdebebas area on race weekend.
- Fiesta Nacional de España, 12 October 2027, the national day military parade along the Castellana and the Paseo del Prado.
For a fair or congress, a car by the hour is the usual choice: US$85 an hour in a business sedan, US$110 in a business SUV and US$170 in an Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum. For a stadium night, the evening out and event night package costs from US$425 in a business sedan to US$850 in a Sprinter, with an agreed drop-off and pickup point outside the closures. See sports event transportation, conference and trade show transportation and event transportation.
Toledo, Segovia and other days out
The signature Madrid day trip is an 8-hour private day to Toledo, the walled city above the Tagus about 72 km (45 mi) south of Madrid, a little under an hour each way on a clear road. It costs from US$630 in a business sedan, US$810 in a business SUV, US$1,035 in a First Class Sedan, US$960 in a First Class SUV and US$1,255 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in. Toledo's historic centre is steep and its streets are narrow, so the chauffeur drops you at the edge of the old town and collects you where you finish. The Toledo tourist office lists the cathedral, the synagogues and the El Greco sites.
Segovia is about 92 km (57 mi) north-west, roughly an hour and a quarter, across the Sierra de Guadarrama. The Roman aqueduct, the cathedral and the Alcázar fit a full day, and many visitors add lunch in the town; see the Segovia tourist board. Book it on the full-day chauffeur, from US$630 in a business sedan to US$1,255 in a Sprinter. The same full day covers El Escorial, Ávila or a winery visit; see wine tours.
In town, the private city highlights tour costs from US$340 in a business sedan to US$680 in a Sprinter: the Royal Palace, run by Patrimonio Nacional, Plaza Mayor, the Retiro, the Bernabéu and the museum mile, with stops where you choose. The Palace and the big museums sell timed tickets, so book those first. More on private city tours.
Corporate travel, roadshows and weddings
Madrid is Spain's corporate and political capital, with company headquarters along the Castellana, ministries, embassies and an international congress calendar. A corporate account gives your company fixed fares at Barajas, roadshow days, monthly invoicing and NDAs on request. The corporate roadshow day costs from US$765 in a business sedan to US$1,530 in an Executive Sprinter, with the car held between meetings in AZCA, Salamanca and the business parks; see investor roadshows and corporate car service. Delegations and official visits are covered on government and diplomatic transportation.
Weddings in Madrid and at the fincas and palaces around it use a First Class Sedan for the couple and an Executive Sprinter with driver for guests; see wedding transportation. Travel agents and hotel concierges can book on account through travel agent accounts and hotel accounts.
Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer, seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley. The fleet page shows seats and luggage by class.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a car service from Madrid airport to the city centre?
A fixed Elly8.net transfer from Barajas to the Salamanca district and the Golden Triangle costs from US$120 in a business sedan, US$160 in a business SUV, US$210 in a First Class Sedan and US$315 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle. It includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet. Tolls and parking are billed at cost.
Which terminal will I arrive at?
Iberia and its oneworld partners use Terminal 4, with long-haul flights often parking at the T4S satellite. Many other airlines use Terminals 1, 2 and 3 in the separate older complex. The chauffeur checks your terminal from your flight number and waits in that arrivals hall with a name board.
Is the Madrid taxi flat fare cheaper than a chauffeur?
Usually, yes. A taxi between the airport and any address inside the M-30 is a flat €33 under the city's tariffs. A chauffeur costs more and adds a booked meeting inside arrivals, child seats, SUVs and Sprinters for luggage and groups, a fixed price for addresses outside the M-30, and one desk for the whole trip.
What if my flight is late or passport control is slow?
The chauffeur follows the tracked landing time, and waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary, which covers the usual queues at T4 passport control and baggage reclaim. If the flight is cancelled or diverted, contact the 24/7 desk and we move the booking to your new arrival.
Can you get me to IFEMA or a stadium on a big day?
Yes. IFEMA is about 7 km from Barajas, so an airport-to-fair transfer is quick. On fair days, stadium nights and the MADRING race weekend, the desk agrees a drop-off and pickup point outside the closures. An hourly booking from US$85 an hour, with a 3-hour minimum, keeps the car waiting for you.
Are child seats available?
Yes. Ask for child or booster seats when you book and give the children's ages; the partner fits them before pickup. A Business SUV or Executive Sprinter gives a family room for seats, a stroller and transatlantic luggage in one vehicle.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less a 10% fee applies, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. Refunds return to the original card.
Do you offer corporate accounts in Madrid?
Yes. Corporate accounts include fixed fares at Barajas, roadshow days on the Castellana and in the business parks, monthly invoicing and NDAs on request. The same account books Barcelona, Lisbon and our other European and North American cities, so travellers keep one set of terms.
