The Mutua Madrid Open 2027 runs from 19 April to 2 May 2027 at the Caja Mágica, according to the tournament. It is the combined ATP and WTA event of the Madrid spring, played over two weeks, with the biggest names on the Manolo Santana Stadium, the centre court. The Caja Mágica, designed by the French architect Dominique Perrault, has hosted the Madrid tennis tournament since 2009, according to the city's tourism board.
Elly8.net books the ground transport around a tennis trip to Madrid: a chauffeur at Barajas on arrival, a car from your hotel in Salamanca, on the Castellana or around the Paseo del Prado to the Caja Mágica in the south of the city, and a car waiting when the night session ends late. Madrid prices are fixed, all-in and charged in US dollars, and the price list does not change for the tournament.
How do you get to the Caja Mágica for the Mutua Madrid Open?
The Caja Mágica is at Camino de Perales 23, in the Manzanares Linear Park in south Madrid, about 8 km (5 mi) from the Salamanca district by road. Metro line 3 stops at San Fermín-Orcasur. For couples, families and hosts, a pre-booked chauffeur gives a door drop-off and a waiting car after late sessions.
The venue is not in the hotel districts. esMadrid, the city's tourism board, places it in the Linear Park of the Manzanares River, gives the address as Camino de Perales 23 and lists metro San Fermín-Orcasur on line 3, city buses 23, 78 and 123, line 180 for certain events and night bus N12. Most visitors staying in the centre change trains on the way, and the walk from the metro through the park adds time.
By car, it is about 8 km (5 mi) from Salamanca, around 14 minutes on a clear road. Parking around the venue is limited, and session starts and ends bring everyone to the same roads at once. A chauffeur drops you at the entrance, agrees the pickup point and is waiting when your match ends, so there is no searching for a taxi in the park at midnight.
The tournament and the stadiums
The Caja Mágica has three stadiums with retractable roofs, so play continues whatever the April weather. esMadrid gives their capacities as 12,427 for Stadium 1, 2,923 for Stadium 2 and 1,712 for Stadium 3.
| Court | Capacity | What your ticket covers, per the tournament |
|---|---|---|
| Manolo Santana Stadium (Stadium 1) | 12,427 | Manolo Santana Stadium, Stadium 3 and the Tennis Garden |
| Stadium 2 | 2,923 | Stadium 2 and the Tennis Garden |
| Stadium 3 | 1,712 | With a Walking Entrance ticket, Stadium 3 and the Tennis Garden, subject to capacity |
The tournament FAQ explains three things that shape your car booking:
- Sessions. Tickets are sold per session and per stadium. Day and night sessions are separate, and a night session ticket only allows entry when the doors open for the night session.
- Order of play. It is a knockout event, so the order of play for a day is only announced the night before. You cannot know in advance when a particular player will be on court.
- Entry. Spectators can enter at the start of the session they bought.
The practical result: book your car by the hour rather than for a fixed pickup time, and let the chauffeur know when the last match on your court is likely to finish. If a match goes to a third set, the car waits.
Arriving at Barajas
Madrid-Barajas has two terminal complexes: Terminals 1, 2 and 3 side by side, and Terminal 4 with its satellite T4S several kilometres away, home to Iberia and its partners. The chauffeur checks which terminal your flight uses, tracks the landing and waits in that arrivals hall with a name board; waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary. Terminal details are on the Aena website.
| Barajas (MAD) to Salamanca and the Golden Triangle | Business Sedan | Business SUV | First Class SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| One way, 19 km (12 mi), about 19 min clear | US$120 | US$160 | US$195 | US$210 | US$315 |
| Round trip | US$230 | US$305 | US$375 | US$400 | US$600 |
Prices are per vehicle and include the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. If you are going straight from the airport to the Caja Mágica, about 24 km (15 mi) from Terminal 4 by road, the web booker returns a fixed quote. See Madrid airport transfers and meet and greet. Private jets are met at the FBO named in the booking; see private jet and FBO car service.
A tennis day with a chauffeur
Day session. The chauffeur collects you at your hotel, sets you down at the venue before play and agrees the pickup point. If you hold only a day ticket, you might break for a long lunch in the centre and be back for the evening at a restaurant; the car handles both.
Night session. Madrid dines late, and night sessions can finish well after dinner time. The evening out and event night package keeps one car and chauffeur for five hours, from US$425 in a business sedan to US$850 in an Executive Sprinter, which covers the drive, the session and the drive to dinner or back to the hotel. The chauffeur follows local rules on drinks in vehicles.
Both sessions. For guests with day and night tickets on the Manolo Santana Stadium, the full-day chauffeur, eight hours, or the ten-hour corporate roadshow day is the simplest booking. A chauffeur by the hour costs from US$85 in a business sedan, US$110 in a business SUV and US$170 in an Executive Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. See sports event transportation and hourly chauffeur service.

Hospitality hosts, sponsors and groups
Companies use the tournament to entertain clients, and the tournament sells Premium Seats on the Manolo Santana Stadium. A host with guests from several hotels can book one Executive Sprinter to collect everyone and bring them back after the session, with a First Class Sedan for a senior guest, all on one reference. See group transportation, event transportation and corporate car service.
Families come too. Ask for child or booster seats when you book and give the children's ages, and the partner fits them before pickup. A Business SUV takes a family of four with transatlantic luggage, and the same car can do the sightseeing on the days without tennis.
The desk signs NDAs on request and briefs chauffeurs only on approved names and routes. Elly8.net provides transportation, not security. A corporate account puts the fortnight on one monthly invoice; travel agents booking tennis trips for clients can use travel-agent accounts, and hotels can book cars for guests through hotel accounts.
Honest alternatives: metro, bus and taxi
Madrid's public transport serves the Caja Mágica, and for some visitors it is the right choice.
| Option | Cost | Best for | Weak point in tournament weeks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Metro line 3 to San Fermín-Orcasur | Metro fare, per person | Fans with light bags, day sessions | Changes from most hotels; walk through the park |
| City buses 23, 78, 123; line 180 on event days | Bus fare, per person | Budget trips | Slow at session changes |
| Madrid taxi from the airport | €33 flat to or from inside the M-30 | Two travellers going to a central hotel | Queues after late sessions in the park |
| Airport Express bus (line 203) | €5.10 per person | Solo arrivals near Cibeles or Atocha | Not a door-to-door option |
| Elly8.net chauffeur | Barajas from US$120; evening from US$425 | Couples, families, hosts, late nights | Book early for the second week |
Madrid's airport taxi charges a flat €33 between the airport and any address inside the M-30 ring road, as the tourism board explains on getting around Madrid by taxi, and the Airport Express bus costs €5.10. For a fan alone at a day session, the metro is fine. For a family, a couple heading to a late dinner in Salamanca, or a host with guests, the car that is already waiting outside the venue is the better answer. Between matches: Toledo and Spain beyond Madrid
A two-week tournament leaves room for a day out. The signature Madrid day trip, eight hours to Toledo, costs from US$630 in a business sedan to US$1,255 in an Executive Sprinter; see private city tours.
Elly8.net also covers Barcelona, Seville, Marbella and Malaga, Lisbon, Porto and Ibiza. A city-to-city car service or a high-speed train with a train station transfer connects them. More on the city is on our Madrid chauffeur service page. Flights and hotels can be booked with our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net; Elly8.net books the car.
