Boise limo service on Elly8.net starts with a short airport run. A business sedan from Boise Airport (BOI) to downtown Boise is US$115 all-in, a business SUV US$150 and an Executive Sprinter US$300. Each price includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet, and it is fixed when you book.
BOI is close to everything: about 4 miles (6 km) from downtown, roughly 10 minutes on a clear road. That makes Boise one of the easiest cities on our list for business travel, and the reason most of our Boise bookings are about the rest of the day: meetings, dinners, game nights, weddings and the long drive to Sun Valley. Rides in Boise are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.

Boise Airport (BOI): arrivals, curbs and where to meet
According to Boise Airport, eight airlines serve 30 nonstop destinations from BOI. It is a compact terminal, but the curbs are colour-coded, and knowing which is which saves a few minutes with bags.
The airport's ground transportation page puts taxis at the black curb on the lower-level roadway outside baggage claim, hotel shuttles at the green curb, and Valley Regional Transit buses at the purple curb. Rideshare pickups have moved to a dedicated area at the east end of the upper curb, reached through the second-floor rotunda exit and marked by "Rideshare Pick-Up Area" shelters.
With Elly8.net, add your flight number when you book. The desk tracks the flight, the chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim with a name board, and you get complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. For departures, the car drops you at the departures curb. Because BOI is so close to downtown, we usually suggest leaving a downtown hotel about 90 minutes before a domestic flight, a little more at the Monday-morning peak. See airport transfers and airport meet and greet.
Boise taxi vs rideshare vs bus vs Elly8.net
Boise has a real bus to the airport, and for some travellers it is the right answer. According to Valley Regional Transit, three routes serve the airport: 2 Broadway, 3 Vista and 20 Orchard, with Routes 2 and 3 running to Main Street Station downtown. Route 3 runs every 15 minutes at weekday peaks and every 30 minutes off-peak, and service runs Monday to Saturday. The standard adult fare is US$1.50, or US$2.50 for an all-day pass.
| Option | BOI to downtown | Time and frequency | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| ValleyRide bus (Routes 2, 3) | US$1.50 adult (official) | Route 3 every 15 min at weekday peaks; no Sunday service listed | Solo traveller, light bag, weekday |
| Taxi | metered fare | about 10 min clear road; black curb, lower level | Walk-up arrivals |
| Rideshare | varies with demand | upper curb, east end | Flexible plans, off-peak |
| Hotel shuttle | complimentary at some hotels | green curb; check with your hotel | Guests of participating hotels |
| Elly8.net business sedan | US$115, fixed and all-in | chauffeur at baggage claim, flight tracked | Meetings, late flights, fixed budget |
| Elly8.net Executive Sprinter | US$300 for the vehicle | same | Teams, families, wedding parties |
The honest reading: for one traveller with a carry-on landing on a weekday afternoon, the bus at US$1.50 or a short taxi or rideshare ride is cheaper than our sedan, and we would not pretend otherwise. A pre-booked chauffeur wins on Sundays and late at night, when you have a full day of meetings after landing, when you are four or more with luggage or golf bags, when you need child seats (available on request), and when your company wants a receipt that matches the quote. The trade-offs are set out in chauffeur vs taxi and chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft.
Downtown Boise, BoDo and the hotel district
Downtown Boise is compact and walkable, with the Idaho State Capitol at the top of Capitol Boulevard and the Boise River and its Greenbelt path along the southern edge. Most hotels sit within a few blocks of the Capitol, the BoDo district and the Grove Plaza, and the Basque Block is a short walk away.
For a business traveller, the car is usually for the airport and for meetings outside the core, in Meridian, Eagle or the business parks along the interstate, where the distances add up quickly. For a day of back-to-back meetings, hourly service starts at US$95 an hour in a business sedan and US$120 in a business SUV, with a 3-hour minimum. A full-day chauffeur starts at US$700. See hourly chauffeur service.
Boise Centre, the arenas and game nights
The Boise Centre at 850 W Front Street is the downtown convention centre, and it hosts conferences, association meetings and galas within walking distance of the main hotels. For multi-day events, we run hotel loops and VIP arrivals on a schedule; see conference and trade show transportation.
Sport and concerts split between downtown and the Boise State campus. Idaho Central Arena in downtown Boise is home to the Idaho Steelheads hockey team and hosts concerts and fights. ExtraMile Arena on Bronco Lane hosts Boise State basketball, and Boise State's sports group also runs Albertsons Stadium for football. Game days around the campus are the busiest roads in town, so on event nights we agree a pickup point a few blocks from the venue rather than at the front gate.
The evening out and event night package covers the drive in, the wait and the drive home: from US$475 in a business sedan and US$600 in a business SUV, up to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter. See sports event transportation and concert and festival transportation.
Treefort Music Fest
Every spring, Treefort Music Fest takes over downtown Boise with international, national and local bands across many venues. The 2027 edition runs March 31 to April 4, 2027. With venues spread across downtown, a festival night often means several stops; an hourly booking or the event night package keeps one car on call, and a Sprinter suits a group of friends moving between shows.
Corporate travel and roadshows in Boise
Boise has grown into a regional business centre, with company headquarters, technology and manufacturing operations and a busy state government calendar at the Capitol. Corporate visitors typically land in the morning, spend the day between downtown and the suburbs, and fly out that evening.
The corporate roadshow day package starts at US$855 in a business sedan and US$1,080 in a business SUV, up to US$1,710 in an Executive Sprinter, and suits a day of site visits and meetings across the Treasure Valley. A corporate account gives monthly invoicing, and NDAs are available on request. See corporate car service and roadshow chauffeur.
Weddings, proms and nights out
Boise weddings often move between a downtown church or the Capitol steps for photographs, a vineyard or foothills venue for the ceremony and a reception downtown. A full-day chauffeur stays with the couple, and an Executive Sprinter carries the wedding party. Prom nights follow a fixed pickup list with a firm return time. See wedding limousine service and prom limousines. The chauffeur follows Idaho's rules on alcohol in vehicles, so the celebration stays at the venue.
Sun Valley, wine country and the highlights tour
Sun Valley and Ketchum are the most popular long-distance trip from Boise. On our routing, downtown Boise to Ketchum is about 153 miles (247 km), roughly three hours on a clear road, and longer in winter weather. Sun Valley also has its own closer airport, Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) in Hailey, which is worth checking if your flights work. For a fixed, all-in price from Boise to a Sun Valley or Ketchum address, use the web booker; see city to city car service for how long-distance transfers work.
Closer to town, Idaho's wine country lies west of the city in the Snake River Valley, and Caldwell is about 28 miles (44 km) and 36 minutes from downtown on a clear road. A wine day by the hour keeps the same chauffeur and vehicle all afternoon; see wine country tours.
The private city highlights tour, from US$380 in a business sedan to US$760 in an Executive Sprinter, covers the Capitol, the North End and Hyde Park, the Greenbelt and the foothills viewpoints at your pace. See private city tours.

Where will my chauffeur meet me at Boise Airport?
Inside the terminal at baggage claim, holding a name board. Add your flight number when you book; the desk tracks it and adjusts the pickup if you land early or late. You get complimentary waiting after a tracked landing, which covers a slow bag at the carousel.
Is the bus cheaper than a car service from BOI?
Yes, for one person. Valley Regional Transit's adult fare is US$1.50, and Routes 2 and 3 run between the airport and Main Street Station downtown, Monday to Saturday. A pre-booked car makes more sense on Sundays, late at night, for groups with luggage and for travellers with meetings to reach.
