A Cannes car service booked through Elly8.net is a private chauffeur at a fixed, all-in price, set before you travel and charged to your card in US dollars. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport to La Croisette costs from US$190 in a business sedan to US$495 in an Executive Sprinter, and Cannes-Mandelieu, the business aviation airport on the edge of town, from US$115.
Rides in Cannes are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Cannes is a small city with an outsized calendar: in a few weeks each spring the Croisette hosts the world's film industry, advertising industry and property investors in turn. This page explains how to arrive, how to move during those weeks, and when the coach or a taxi is the sensible choice instead.
How much is a car from Nice airport to Cannes?
A fixed Elly8.net transfer from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport to La Croisette costs from US$190 in a business sedan, US$250 in a business SUV, US$335 in a First Class Sedan and US$495 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle. It includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet. Tolls and parking are billed at cost.
The drive is about 32 km (20 mi), roughly 41 minutes on a clear road along the A8 motorway, then down into the city. During the Film Festival and on summer weekends the motorway exits and the Croisette itself slow sharply, and an hour or more is realistic. The fare is fixed regardless. A round trip from Nice airport costs from US$365 in a business sedan to US$945 in a Sprinter.
Two airports: Nice Côte d'Azur and Cannes-Mandelieu
| Airport | Distance to La Croisette | Clear-road drive | Business sedan | First Class SUV | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE) | 32 km / 20 mi | about 41 min | from US$190 | US$305 | US$495 |
| Cannes-Mandelieu (CEQ) | 6 km / 4 mi | about 12 min | from US$115 | US$185 | US$300 |
Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE). All scheduled flights for Cannes land at Nice, which has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, linked by a free tram. Most North American travellers connect through Paris, London, Frankfurt or another hub, so give us the final flight number. The chauffeur tracks that landing, waits in the arrivals hall of the right terminal with a name board, and walks you to the car. Waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary, and a missed connection simply moves the pickup to your new flight. Private jets too large for Cannes use Nice's Business Aviation Terminal, served at the same fixed fares. See Nice airport to Cannes transfers and meet and greet.
Cannes-Mandelieu (CEQ). The Cannes-Mandelieu airport describes itself as France's second business aviation airport, and it is the closest landing point to the Croisette: about 6 km (4 mi) and 12 minutes. It handles business jets and helicopters, and it is at its busiest in festival weeks. Transfers start at US$115 in a business sedan and US$205 in a First Class Sedan, and the round trip from US$220. See private jet and FBO transfers for how the chauffeur coordinates with your handler.
Coach, taxi, rideshare or a pre-booked chauffeur
Cannes is well served from Nice airport, and for some trips the cheaper options are right.
| Option | Price (Nice airport to Cannes) | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Express coach line 81 | Bought before boarding | Longer than a car, with stops | Solo travellers with light bags |
| Taxi from the Nice airport rank | €85 fixed rate (airport's 2025 indicative fare) | Same roads as any car | Spontaneous trips with no booking |
| Rideshare | Varies with demand, often surges during festivals | Pickup at the designated zone | Light travellers off-peak |
| Elly8.net business sedan | US$190 fixed, per vehicle | Door to hotel door | Delegates, families, groups, festival schedules, fixed budgets |
Nice airport publishes a fixed taxi rate of €85 to Cannes, and the Express coach line 81 to Cannes leaves from bay 2 at the Terminal 2 bus station. For one person with a carry-on outside festival weeks, the coach is the fair recommendation. A taxi from the rank is straightforward when the queue is short.
The pre-booked chauffeur earns its fare during the busy weeks. When the Festival or Lions is on, taxi queues at the airport lengthen, rideshare pricing follows demand, and hotels on the Croisette restrict who can stop at the door. A booked car arrives at the time you set, with your name on a board, the price fixed in dollars weeks before, and a driver who knows the access arrangements for each hotel. The Croisette, Le Suquet and the hills
La Croisette. The seafront boulevard is the reference point for our Cannes fares and the address of the palace hotels, the private beaches and the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès at its western end. During major events, sections of the Croisette are controlled and hotel forecourts are managed tightly; the chauffeur works to the arrangements in force on the day.
Le Suquet and the old port. The old town climbs above the Vieux Port, with narrow streets that suit a drop-off at the foot of the hill. Yacht tenders and the boats to the Lérins Islands leave from the port.
Rue d'Antibes and the centre. The shopping street one block back from the sea, and the business addresses around it.
Californie, Super-Cannes and Mougins. The villas on the hills east and north of the centre, and the village of Mougins inland, are where many festival guests, production companies and agencies rent houses for the season. Steep, narrow roads favour a sedan or SUV; tell us the address and the desk assigns the right car.
Cannes events in 2027
These are the dates published by organisers for the next editions after October 2026.
- MIPIM, 16 to 19 March 2027 at the Palais des Festivals. The property industry's largest gathering, confirmed by MIPIM. Delegates shuttle between the Palais, yachts in the port and hotel meetings; a car by the hour keeps the day on schedule.
- Cannes Film Festival, 11 to 22 May 2027. The 80th edition, per the Festival de Cannes. Evening screenings mean precise arrival windows, and after-parties move between the Croisette, the beaches and villas in the hills. The evening out and event night package costs from US$450 in a business sedan to US$900 in a Sprinter.
- Cannes Lions, 21 to 25 June 2027. The creative marketing festival, per Cannes Lions. Agencies often book Sprinters for teams and a First Class Sedan for leadership, moving between the Palais, beach venues and client dinners.
Other trade shows and congresses use the Palais through the year, and the Monaco Grand Prix on 4 to 6 June 2027 brings many guests who stay in Cannes and travel east each morning; see our Monaco chauffeur page. For festival planning, read event transportation, conference transportation and film and production transportation, which covers crews, talent and equipment schedules.
Hourly bookings during festival weeks
For most visitors to Cannes during a festival, transfers are the wrong unit. A single day can include an airport arrival at Mandelieu, a lunch on a beach at the far end of the Croisette, a meeting at a villa in Californie, a screening at the Palais and a dinner in Mougins. Cannes car service by the hour costs US$90 an hour in a business sedan, US$115 in a business SUV, US$145 in a First Class Sedan and US$180 in an Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum. A full-day chauffeur costs from US$665 in a business sedan to US$1,325 in a Sprinter. The car waits nearby and comes when you call, which matters in a city where parking near the Palais is close to impossible in May.
The last day of a festival: plan the departure early
The heaviest day for Cannes ground transport is not the opening night but the morning after the closing ceremony, when thousands of guests leave for Nice airport at once and the A8 westbound and eastbound both slow down. The same happens on the final day of Cannes Lions and of MIPIM. Taxi ranks on the Croisette empty quickly, and rideshare pricing follows demand.
Two things help. First, book the departure at the same time as the arrival: the round trip from Nice airport costs from US$365 in a business sedan and US$945 in an Executive Sprinter, both fixed. Second, leave a wide margin. The desk normally suggests a pickup that reaches Nice airport two and a half hours before a long-haul flight and two hours before a European one, and adds time on festival closing days; if you are connecting through Paris or London to North America, the connection is the real deadline. Guests flying privately from Cannes-Mandelieu have the shortest trip of all, about 12 minutes from the Croisette, and the handler's slot time sets the pickup.
The Saint-Tropez day trip and days out
The signature Cannes day is an 8-hour trip to Saint-Tropez, west along the coast through the red rocks of the Esterel, into the old port with its yachts and cafés, the Place des Lices, and the beaches of Pampelonne nearby, before the drive back. It costs from US$665 in a business sedan, US$850 in a business SUV, US$1,070 in a First Class Sedan and US$1,325 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in. The roads into Saint-Tropez are slow in July and August, so the chauffeur will suggest an early start; the Saint-Tropez tourist office lists what is open.
Closer to home, the private city highlights tour from US$360 covers Le Suquet, the Croisette, the Californie viewpoints and Mougins. Grasse and its perfume houses, Antibes and Cap d'Antibes, and Saint-Paul-de-Vence all work as half-day or full-day trips. See private city tours and wine tours for the Provence vineyards.
Corporate travel, yachts, weddings and groups
A corporate account gives your company fixed fares from both airports, the corporate roadshow day from US$810 in a business sedan to US$1,620 in a Sprinter, monthly invoicing and NDAs on request, which matter during festival weeks when talent and executives travel discreetly. See corporate car service. Yacht guests joining a charter in Cannes are met at the airport and delivered with their luggage to the berth.
Destination weddings on the Riviera use an Executive Sprinter with driver for guests and a First Class Sedan for the couple; see wedding transportation and group transportation. Agencies and concierges can book on account through travel agent accounts and hotel accounts. Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer, seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley; see the fleet.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a car from Nice airport to Cannes?
A fixed Elly8.net transfer from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport to La Croisette costs from US$190 in a business sedan, US$250 in a business SUV, US$335 in a First Class Sedan and US$495 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle. It includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet; tolls and parking are billed at cost.
Nice or Cannes-Mandelieu: which airport is better?
Scheduled airline flights land at Nice, about 41 minutes from the Croisette on a clear road. Business jets and helicopters can use Cannes-Mandelieu, about 12 minutes away, with transfers from US$115. Your operator decides which airport suits the aircraft; the desk meets either one.
How does getting around work during the Cannes Film Festival?
Book early and book by the hour. From 11 to 22 May 2027, roads around the Palais are controlled, hotel forecourts are managed tightly and taxis are scarce. An hourly car from US$90 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or the evening out package from US$450, keeps a driver on call between screenings, dinners and parties.
Is the coach or a taxi cheaper?
Yes, for one traveller. Express coach line 81 runs from Nice airport to Cannes, and the airport publishes a fixed taxi rate of €85. For delegates, families and groups with luggage, or anyone arriving during a festival, a fixed US$190 car with meet and greet removes the queue and the guesswork.
Are child seats available?
Yes. Request child or booster seats when you book and give the children's ages, and the partner fits them before pickup. A Business SUV or Executive Sprinter gives a family room for seats, strollers and beach luggage in a single vehicle.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup. A 10% fee applies at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. Refunds go to the original card used for the booking.
Can agencies book teams for Cannes Lions?
Yes. Corporate accounts can book Executive Sprinters for teams and First Class Sedans for leadership across 21 to 25 June 2027, with fixed fares, monthly invoicing and NDAs on request. Send the schedule through the web booker and the desk plans the timings and vehicles.
