The 113th Grey Cup, the CFL championship game, kicks off at 5:00 p.m. MDT on Sunday 15 November 2026 at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, with Riley Green announced for the halftime show. It is the climax of the Cenovus Energy 2026 Grey Cup Festival, which runs from Wednesday 11 to Saturday 14 November at Stampede Park, with street festival days, rodeos, concerts, team parties and a kick-off party. The organisers note that Calgary has hosted the Grey Cup five times before, making this the city's sixth, and fans travel in from every CFL city for the week.
Elly8.net books Grey Cup transportation as a fixed-price plan: a chauffeur who meets you at Calgary International Airport, cars between the downtown hotels and the festival at Stampede Park, and a game-night car that drops you near McMahon Stadium and waits for the final whistle. Rides in Calgary are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How do you get to McMahon Stadium for the Grey Cup?
There is no public parking at McMahon Stadium or at the festival site at Stampede Park, so the organisers ask fans to use transit or a ride service. McMahon is about 10 to 15 minutes from downtown by CTrain, taxi or rideshare. A pre-booked car with a fixed pickup point after the game avoids the post-game rush.
The organisers say it plainly on the Grey Cup Festival FAQ: there is no public parking at either the festival site or the game. Every fan in the stadium arrives on foot, by transit, by taxi or rideshare, or by a booked car. That is the transport problem in one line: a full stadium, a cold November evening, and a crowd leaving at the same time with no cars of their own nearby.
A chauffeur handles the two moments that matter. Before the game, the car brings you to the nearest drop-off point allowed on the day, in time for the tailgate or your seats. After the game, when app rides surge and taxi lines grow, your chauffeur is already staged a short walk from the stadium and comes to an agreed point when you message. McMahon is an open-air stadium, so the warm car waiting at the end is not a small thing.

| Wednesday 11 November | Kick-Off Party; Suncor Street Festival opens 5:30 to 9 p.m. | Stampede Park | Arrival day: YYC transfer, evening car |
| Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 November | Suncor Street Festival 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; pancake breakfasts 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; rodeos, concerts and team parties | Stampede Park and venues across the city | Hourly cars or the evening package |

The festival times come from the organisers' events calendar, which lists free, family-friendly and ticketed events through the week. The 113th Grey Cup ticket page confirms the 5:00 p.m. MDT kick-off at McMahon Stadium, notes that suites and the Corral are sold out, and says corporate packages and premium experiences are still available. Check the calendar again before you lock your evening cars, because events are added and times can change.
Distances: YYC, downtown, Stampede Park and McMahon
Calgary is compact by road, and most Grey Cup trips are short, but they are slow on festival evenings and after the game.
| Route | Road distance | Clear-road drive | Elly8.net price |
|---|---|---|---|
| YYC to downtown Calgary | about 14 km (9 mi) | about 19 min | from US$105 sedan to US$275 Sprinter |
| YYC to McMahon Stadium | about 15 km (9.5 mi) | about 21 min | quoted in the web booker |
| Downtown to McMahon Stadium | about 7 km (4.4 mi) | about 11 min | evening package from US$550 |
| Downtown to Stampede Park | about 1.5 km (0.9 mi) | about 3 min, far longer on festival evenings | hourly from US$110 |
| McMahon Stadium to Stampede Park | about 8 km (5 mi) | about 13 min | hourly from US$110 |
Distances are road distances on our routing, and drive times are for a clear road. Tourism Calgary's Grey Cup visitor guide puts McMahon 10 to 15 minutes from downtown by CTrain, taxi or rideshare, and says Stampede Park has direct CTrain access at Victoria Park station.
Arriving at Calgary International Airport (YYC)
Most fans fly into YYC on Wednesday to Saturday of Grey Cup week, and many leave on Monday. The chauffeur tracks your flight and meets you inside arrivals with a name board, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing, so a late connection through Toronto, Winnipeg or Vancouver does not cost you the car. See airport transfers and airport meet and greet.
A YYC transfer to downtown Calgary costs from US$105 in a business sedan, US$140 in a business SUV and US$170 to US$185 in a first class SUV or sedan, up to US$275 in an Executive Sprinter. A round trip, booked together, runs from US$200 in a business sedan to US$525 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in per vehicle. For a hotel outside downtown, use the web booker for the exact address. If you are flying privately, give us the operator and tail number and the desk arranges the meeting point; see private jet and FBO transfers.
Game day: the plan for Sunday 15 November
Before the game. With a 5:00 p.m. kick-off and a tailgate planned beforehand, most fans want to be near the stadium by early afternoon. We usually schedule the downtown pickup two to three hours before kick-off, and earlier if you are going to the tailgate. The chauffeur drops you at the nearest point the traffic plan allows on the day, then holds nearby.
During the game. The car stays staged in the area. You do not need to know where; you need the chauffeur's number, which arrives with your confirmation.
After the final whistle. This is when the plan pays off. The crowd leaves at once, the CTrain fills, and app prices follow demand. Message the chauffeur when you leave your seats and walk to the agreed pickup point, which the chauffeur confirms by text before kick-off. From there it is a short drive to a downtown hotel, a post-game party or a restaurant.
The evening out and event night package covers all of this: five hours with one car and chauffeur, from US$550 in a business sedan, US$700 in a business SUV and US$825 to US$900 in a first class SUV or sedan, to US$1,100 in an Executive Sprinter. If your day starts earlier with a brunch or a tailgate, book hourly chauffeur service from US$110 per hour in a business sedan to US$220 in an Executive Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum, or the full-day chauffeur (8 hours) from US$810 to US$1,620. See sports event transportation.
The chauffeur follows Alberta's rules on alcohol, so nobody drinks in the vehicle, and nobody in your group has to drive home after the game.
Festival nights at Stampede Park
The festival's base is Stampede Park, on the east side of the Beltline beside the Elbow River, with the Suncor Street Festival on Lot 3 and the Kick-Off Party at the Big Four Roadhouse. Evenings bring concerts, rodeos and team parties for fans of every CFL club, and the street festival runs until 9 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday.
For a festival evening, an hourly car or the five-hour package keeps one chauffeur with your group as you move between Stampede Park, a downtown dinner and a team party. Since there is no public parking at the festival site, the chauffeur drops you at the closest practical point and meets you at an agreed spot afterwards. On a cold night, that matters more than the few minutes of driving.
Corporate hospitality, sponsors and client groups
Grey Cup week brings a lot of corporate hospitality: the organisers sell corporate packages and premium experiences for both the festival and the game. Hosts who bring clients need cars that arrive together and leave together, and executives who mix meetings with the festival need a car that waits.
For a client group, book one or more Executive Sprinters for the hotel to stadium runs, priced at US$220 per hour or US$1,100 for the five-hour evening package per vehicle, plus sedans for executives with separate plans. The corporate roadshow day (10 hours) costs from US$990 in a business sedan to US$1,980 in an Executive Sprinter, for a Friday of meetings in the downtown towers before the festival evening. Companies that book often can open a corporate account with monthly invoicing, and agencies can book for clients through travel agent accounts. See corporate car service and group transportation. NDAs are available on request; Elly8.net provides transportation, not security.
Staying on: Banff and the Rockies
Many visitors add a day in the mountains. The signature Banff and Lake Louise day trip, a 10-hour package, costs from US$1,015 in a business sedan and US$1,290 in a business SUV to US$2,025 in an Executive Sprinter, with one chauffeur and one vehicle for the day. In mid-November, mountain roads can be wintry, and the chauffeur adjusts the plan to the conditions. For an overnight stay, see Banff car service. Fans driving in from other prairie cities can also book from Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina or Winnipeg through the web booker.
Honest alternatives: CTrain, bus, taxi or rideshare
Calgary's options are good, and for some fans they are the right answer.
| Option | Cost | Best for | Weak point |
|---|---|---|---|
| CTrain to the stadium or Stampede Park | Calgary Transit fare; free along 7th Avenue downtown | Fans staying near a station, travelling light | Very crowded straight after the game |
| Route 500 express bus from YYC | Calgary Transit fare | Solo travellers to downtown | No LRT to the airport; limited stops |
| Airport taxi | About C$40 to C$45 to downtown, metered | One or two travellers, normal conditions | Queues at peak arrival times |
| On-demand airport sedan | C$68.75 flat zone fare to downtown | Walk-up arrivals wanting a sedan | Not pre-booked; no meet and greet |
| Rideshare | Price follows demand | A one-off trip off-peak | Surges after the game; no public parking near the stadium means long walks to pickups |
| Elly8.net chauffeur | From US$105 from YYC; game night from US$550 for five hours | Groups, clients, families, a fixed budget | Must be booked in advance; Grey Cup week fills early |
The airport figures come from YYC: its taxi and sedan page puts taxi stands on the arrivals level at doors 1, 9 and 15, with an approximate metered fare to downtown of C$40 to C$45 under normal conditions and a C$68.75 flat sedan fare; its public transit page says there is no dedicated LRT line to YYC, that Route 500 is an express bus to downtown via Centre Street, and that Route 100 connects to Saddletowne LRT station. YYC also says Uber and Lyft are the only authorised ride apps, with arrivals pickups at doors 3, 12 and 15. For one fan with a carry-on staying near a CTrain station, transit is fine, and we say so. A pre-booked car wins for groups, clients, families with child seats, and anyone who wants a warm car and a fixed price at the end of the game. See chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft and chauffeur vs taxi.
How booking works
- Enter the pickup and drop-off, with your flight number for YYC, or McMahon Stadium or Stampede Park for event nights.
- Choose the vehicle: business sedan, business SUV, first class sedan or SUV, or Executive Sprinter. The fleet page shows seats and luggage space.
- Press Reserve now on the Calgary price list, or use the web booker for any address not on the list. Confirmation arrives by email, with the chauffeur's details before pickup.
Prices include the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. The price list does not change for the Grey Cup, but availability does: Calgary has a fixed number of chauffeured vehicles, so reserve the airport legs and game night as soon as you have tickets. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, refunded to the original card.

Frequently asked questions
When and where is the 113th Grey Cup?
On Sunday 15 November 2026 at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, with kick-off at 5:00 p.m. MDT, according to the organisers. The Cenovus Energy 2026 Grey Cup Festival runs before it, from 11 to 14 November at Stampede Park, with a tailgate planned before the game.
Is there parking at McMahon Stadium for the Grey Cup?
No public parking, according to the organisers, at either McMahon Stadium or the festival site at Stampede Park. They ask fans to plan for transit or a ride service. With a chauffeur you do not need a space: the car drops you, holds nearby and returns to an agreed point after the game.
How much is a car service to the Grey Cup?
The simplest booking is the five-hour evening package, from US$550 in a business sedan to US$1,100 in an Executive Sprinter, which covers the drive in, the game and the drive back. Hourly cars cost from US$110 per hour with a three-hour minimum. YYC to downtown starts at US$105. Prices are fixed and all-in.
Where will the chauffeur pick us up after the game?
At a point a short walk from the stadium, agreed by text before kick-off and confirmed again when you leave your seats. Exact points depend on the day's traffic plan around McMahon, so the chauffeur sets them on the day rather than in advance. Wear warm layers: McMahon is open-air.
Can you move a group of fans or clients?
Yes. An Executive Sprinter carries a group together, from US$275 for the YYC transfer and US$220 per hour in town. Several vehicles can be booked under one reference with fixed pickup and return times, and corporate accounts get monthly invoicing.
How early should we book for Grey Cup week?
As early as possible. Hotels and cars across Calgary are in heavy demand from Wednesday to Monday, and Sunday evening is the busiest night of the week. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, so an early booking carries little risk if your plans change.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 72 hours before pickup and it is free. At 72 hours or less the fee is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less or a no-show 100%. Refunds go back to the original card, and the 24/7 desk can change times and addresses.
