A Marbella private driver booked through Elly8.net is a chauffeured car at a fixed, all-in price agreed before you fly, charged to your card in US dollars. A transfer from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) to Marbella and Puerto Banús starts at US$235 in a business sedan and runs to US$615 in an Executive Sprinter. From Gibraltar Airport (GIB) the same trip starts at US$290. The chauffeur tracks your flight and waits in arrivals with your name.
Rides in Marbella and Malaga are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Marbella is the one city on our Spanish list where the airport is a proper drive away, so the choice of transfer matters more here than anywhere. This page covers both airports, the coast road and its tolls, Puerto Banús, the golf valleys, villas and gated estates, Ronda, and an honest comparison with the taxi, the coach and rideshare.
How much is a transfer from Málaga airport to Marbella?
A fixed Elly8.net transfer from Málaga airport (AGP) to Marbella and Puerto Banús costs from US$235 in a business sedan, US$310 in a business SUV and US$615 in an Executive Sprinter. The price is per vehicle and includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet in arrivals. Tolls and parking are billed at cost.
The drive is about 53 km (33 mi), roughly 42 minutes on a clear road west along the coast. A round trip from AGP costs from US$450 in a business sedan to US$1,170 in a Sprinter, and a First Class Sedan is US$415 one way. Gibraltar is further, about 75 km (47 mi) and an hour on a clear road, at US$290 in a business sedan, US$380 in a business SUV, US$510 in a First Class Sedan and US$755 in an Executive Sprinter.
The fare covers the whole stretch of coast around Marbella: the old town, the Golden Mile, Puerto Banús, Nueva Andalucía, San Pedro de Alcántara and the hillside estates above them. For addresses further out, such as Estepona, Sotogrande or Benahavís villages, use the web booker for a fixed quote.

Málaga-Costa del Sol (AGP). Málaga airport is the gateway for almost everyone, including travellers connecting from North America through Madrid, London, Lisbon and the other European hubs. It is one of Spain's busiest airports in summer, and arrivals halls fill quickly on weekend afternoons when the charter and low-cost waves land together. Give us your flight number: the chauffeur checks your terminal and arrivals area, tracks the landing and waits with a name board. Waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary. Book a Málaga airport transfer for the fixed fare, and see meet and greet for how the meeting works.
Gibraltar (GIB). Gibraltar Airport is a small airport in the British Overseas Territory, right at the land frontier with La Línea de la Concepción in Spain. Flights come mainly from the United Kingdom, so it suits travellers routing through London. A GIB transfer includes crossing that frontier, which can queue at busy times, so carry your passport and allow time. Border arrangements between Gibraltar and Spain have been changing; check the current entry requirements before you travel, and the desk confirms the exact meeting point with you when you book.
Private aviation uses both airports; the chauffeur meets you at the handler's terminal. See private jet and FBO transfers.
The coast road, the toll motorway and summer traffic
Two roads link Málaga airport with Marbella. The free A-7 follows the coast past Torremolinos, Benalmádena and Fuengirola, with frequent junctions and summer congestion; for much of the way the AP-7 toll motorway runs parallel inland and is usually quicker. Your chauffeur chooses the better route for the time of day; tolls are billed at cost, as on every Elly8.net fare.
July and August are the busy months, when the A-7 through the resorts is slow and Puerto Banús can take as long to cross as the motorway does to drive. Late-evening arrivals and early-morning departures are usually smooth. The fixed fare means you pay the same either way.
Taxi, coach, rideshare or a pre-booked chauffeur
Public transport to Marbella is limited, which is one reason private transfers are so common here. There is no railway to Marbella: the commuter train from Málaga airport runs along the coast only as far as Fuengirola. Coaches run from the airport to Marbella bus station, and from there you need a taxi to most hotels and villas. Taxis from the airport rank charge regulated fares for the long trip west, and rideshare pricing changes with demand, which on summer weekend afternoons can rise sharply.
| Option | Price | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coach to Marbella bus station | Per-person fare | Coach time, then a taxi to your address | Solo travellers with light bags |
| Málaga airport taxi | Regulated fare, long trip | Same roads as any car | Spontaneous trips, no booking |
| Rideshare | Varies with demand | Pickup at the designated zone | Light travellers comfortable with apps |
| Elly8.net business sedan from AGP | US$235 fixed, per vehicle | Door to door, about 42 min on a clear road | Families, golf bags, villas, late arrivals, fixed budgets |
The fair view: a solo traveller staying near Marbella bus station saves money on the coach. For almost everyone else, two problems decide it. The first is luggage: summer stays and golf trips mean large cases and bag covers, and a business SUV or Sprinter is booked to hold them. The second is the address. Villas in the hills above Marbella and the gated estates of Benahavís and Sierra Blanca are not places a taxi from the rank knows; the chauffeur arrives with the address, the gate code arrangements and your name on the guest list. Puerto Banús, the Golden Mile and the villas
Puerto Banús. The marina west of Marbella is the coast's luxury hub: superyacht berths, designer boutiques on the waterfront, beach clubs and restaurants that run late. The Puerto José Banús marina is busiest on summer evenings, when traffic into the port slows to walking pace and access for cars is restricted. The chauffeur drops you at the closest permitted point and collects you from an agreed spot.
The Golden Mile. The stretch of coast between Marbella town and Puerto Banús holds the area's best-known beach hotels, private clubs and grand villas, with the old town of Marbella at its eastern end. The Marbella tourism office covers the old town and beaches.
Nueva Andalucía and the golf valley. Inland of Puerto Banús, several golf courses sit close together in the valley, surrounded by villas and apartments. Golfers book by the hour: US$85 in a business sedan, US$110 in a business SUV and US$170 in an Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum, so the car waits for the full round and the lunch afterwards.
Sotogrande and Valderrama. Further west, towards Gibraltar, Sotogrande is home to Real Club Valderrama and a polo and marina community. It is closer to Gibraltar than to Málaga, which makes GIB a sensible airport for Sotogrande stays.
Villa arrivals. Many visitors rent a villa for a week. Tell the desk the address, any gate or concierge instructions and the number of cases, and choose the vehicle by luggage rather than headcount. A family of five with golf bags belongs in an Executive Sprinter.
Ronda, Granada and days out
The signature Marbella day trip is an 8-hour private day to Ronda, the white town split by the El Tajo gorge, about 58 km (36 mi) inland but well over an hour by the mountain road through the Serranía de Ronda. It costs from US$630 in a business sedan, US$810 in a business SUV, US$1,035 in a First Class Sedan, US$960 in a First Class SUV and US$1,255 in an Executive Sprinter, all-in. The road is all curves; the chauffeur drives it so you can watch the view, then waits while you cross the Puente Nuevo, visit the bullring and lunch in the old town. The Ronda tourism office lists sights, and wineries in the Serranía make good stops; see wine tours.
Granada and the Alhambra is about 180 km (112 mi) from Marbella, a bit over two hours each way, which suits a long full day on the full-day chauffeur, from US$630 in a business sedan to US$1,255 in a Sprinter. Palace entry is by timed slot through the Alhambra and Generalife ticketing, and slots sell out; book them before the car. Málaga city, with the Picasso Museum and the Alcazaba, is about 48 minutes away; Mijas and Estepona are shorter runs.
On the coast itself, the private highlights tour costs from US$340 in a business sedan to US$680 in a Sprinter, and the evening out and event night package from US$425 to US$850, which covers dinner in Marbella old town, a night in Puerto Banús and the drive home to the villa. See private city tours and event transportation.
Weddings, groups and corporate travel
The Costa del Sol is one of Europe's big destination-wedding coasts, with ceremonies at beach clubs, hotels, fincas and hillside villas. A First Class Sedan for the couple and an Executive Sprinter with driver for guests is the usual plan; see wedding transportation and group transportation for guest shuttles from the airport and the hotels.
For business, a corporate account gives your company fixed fares at AGP and GIB, roadshow days, monthly invoicing and NDAs on request. The corporate roadshow day costs from US$765 in a business sedan to US$1,530 in a Sprinter, useful for property viewings across several estates in a day. See corporate car service. Villa agencies and hotel concierges book on account through travel agent accounts and hotel accounts.
Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer, seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley. The fleet page shows seats and luggage by class.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a transfer from Málaga airport to Marbella?
A fixed Elly8.net transfer from AGP to Marbella and Puerto Banús costs from US$235 in a business sedan, US$310 in a business SUV, US$415 in a First Class Sedan and US$615 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle. It includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet. Tolls and parking are billed at cost.
How long does the drive from Málaga airport take?
About 42 minutes on a clear road for the 53 km (33 mi) to Puerto Banús. Summer afternoons and weekends on the coast road take longer, and the chauffeur may use the AP-7 toll motorway, with tolls billed at cost. Your fare does not change with traffic.
Should I fly into Gibraltar or Málaga?
Most travellers use Málaga, which has far more flights. Gibraltar suits travellers coming from the United Kingdom and anyone staying in Sotogrande or the western end of the coast. A GIB transfer to Puerto Banús costs from US$290 and includes crossing the frontier, so carry your passport.
Can the chauffeur find our villa or gated estate?
Yes. Give the desk the full address, any gate or concierge instructions and the guest-list name when you book. The chauffeur arrives with those details and calls ahead if the gate needs opening. For hillside villas with steep or narrow drives, an SUV is often the better choice than a sedan.
What if my flight is late?
The chauffeur follows the tracked landing time, and waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary, which covers the long baggage waits on busy summer afternoons at Málaga. If your flight is cancelled or diverted, contact the 24/7 desk and we move the booking.
Do you carry golf bags?
Yes. Tell the desk how many bags. A business SUV carries golf bags for two or three players with their cases; a group of four with full luggage belongs in an Executive Sprinter. Hourly bookings from US$85 an hour, with a 3-hour minimum, cover a round and lunch.
Are child seats available?
Yes. Ask for child or booster seats when you book and give the children's ages; the partner fits them before pickup. On a 42-minute motorway drive that matters. A Business SUV or Executive Sprinter gives a family room for seats, a stroller, beach gear and two weeks of holiday luggage.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less a 10% fee applies, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. Refunds return to the original card.
