A Hamptons car service from Elly8.net is a pre-booked chauffeured car with a fixed, all-in price: JFK to East Hampton from US$585 in a business sedan, Long Island MacArthur Airport from US$405, and East Hampton Airport to the village from US$140. The price includes the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
Rides in The Hamptons are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. The East End is a long, narrow place with one main road, and in summer that road decides your day. A chauffeur who knows when to leave is worth as much as the car.
How much is a car service from JFK to the Hamptons?
An Elly8.net car service from JFK to East Hampton costs from US$585 in a business sedan, US$765 in a business SUV and US$1,525 in an Executive Sprinter for a group with luggage. The price is fixed and all-in for the vehicle, including flight tracking and meet and greet inside arrivals. Tolls are billed at cost.
JFK is about 93 miles (150 km) from East Hampton, around 2 hours 20 minutes on a clear road via the Belt Parkway or the Van Wyck, the Long Island Expressway or the Southern State, then Sunrise Highway and Montauk Highway (Route 27). On a Friday afternoon in July, plan for considerably longer. First Class cars from JFK start at US$1,025 for a sedan and US$940 for an SUV. A round trip, for example JFK out on Friday and back to JFK on Sunday, is priced from US$1,115 in a business sedan to US$2,900 in an Executive Sprinter.
The chauffeur meets you inside arrivals at your JFK terminal with a name board, after bags. JFK pickups are flight-tracked, so a delayed transatlantic arrival does not cost you the car, and you get complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. For travellers heading straight out east from an overseas flight, this is the simplest way to book a JFK to Hamptons car service.
East Hampton Airport, MacArthur and JFK: which airport for the Hamptons
Three airports serve the East End, and the choice depends on how you are flying.
| Airport | Distance to East Hampton | Clear-road time | Business Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Town of East Hampton Airport (HTO) | 4 mi (7 km) | about 11 min | US$140 | US$365 |
| Long Island MacArthur (ISP) | 54 mi (86 km) | about 87 min | US$405 | US$1,055 |
| JFK International (JFK) | 93 mi (150 km) | about 140 min | US$585 | US$1,525 |
Town of East Hampton Airport (HTO). The private aviation airport for the East End, used by business jets, charters, turboprops and helicopters, especially on summer weekends. HTO to East Hampton village starts at US$140 in a business sedan, US$245 in a First Class sedan and US$365 in an Executive Sprinter, and a round trip is from US$270. Send the desk the tail number or the operator's flight details and the car is waiting when the aircraft taxis in. For Southampton, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, Amagansett or Montauk addresses, the web booker gives a fixed price door to door. See private jet and FBO car service for how jet and helicopter arrivals are handled.
Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP). In Ronkonkoma, about 54 miles (86 km) west of East Hampton. According to MacArthur Airport, it is served by Avelo, Breeze, Cape Air, Frontier, JetBlue and Southwest, with nonstop flights to 16 destinations and access to the LIRR Ronkonkoma station. ISP to East Hampton runs from US$405 in a business sedan and US$530 in a business SUV to US$1,055 in an Executive Sprinter. It is often the smart choice for domestic flights from Florida or the Southeast because it cuts the drive through Queens.
JFK. The airport for international arrivals and most nonstop domestic routes. It is the longest drive, but it saves a connection. Allow time for traffic on the Long Island Expressway, which on summer Fridays is busiest from early afternoon into the evening.
Travellers flying private into Teterboro or a commercial flight into LaGuardia can book through our New York car service page or the web booker; the city side of the trip uses New York pricing.
Train, Jitney, rideshare or a chauffeur to the Hamptons
The Hamptons are well served by the Long Island Rail Road and by coach services along Montauk Highway, and they are often the right answer for one traveller with a weekend bag. Here is the honest comparison from Manhattan or JFK to East Hampton.
| Option | Price | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| LIRR, Penn Station to East Hampton | US$33.00 peak, US$24.50 off-peak, one way | about 2.5 to 3 hours, with changes on many trains | One traveller, light bag, weekday off-peak |
| Coach from Manhattan (Hampton Jitney) | Published by the operator; varies by day | 2.5 hours and up, traffic dependent | Solo travellers who prefer a seat to the train |
| Uber / Lyft | Set by the app at booking | Traffic dependent | Short hops between villages when cars are available |
| Elly8.net business sedan from JFK | from US$585, fixed and all-in | about 2 hr 20 min clear road | Families, luggage, late arrivals, fixed budget |
| Elly8.net Executive Sprinter from JFK | from US$1,525 for the vehicle | about 2 hr 20 min clear road | Groups, house parties, wedding guests |
The Long Island Rail Road. The Montauk Branch runs through Southampton, Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Amagansett and Montauk. East Hampton is in fare zone 14, and the MTA's fare chart effective January 4, 2026 lists US$33.00 one way at peak and US$24.50 off-peak from Penn Station or Grand Central, more if bought on board. Many trains need a change at Jamaica or Babylon, and summer Friday trains are full. For a solo traveller on a Tuesday, it is excellent value.
Coaches. The Hampton Jitney picks up at several Manhattan stops between 40th and 96th Streets and drops off in the East End villages, with connections to Islip and the Queens airports. Fares and schedules are published by the operator and can rise on peak days. It is comfortable and predictable if you only have a bag.
Rideshare. Uber and Lyft operate on the East End, but availability is less predictable than in the city, especially late at night after a party in Montauk or on a holiday weekend, and prices are set by the app at the time you request. A fixed booking removes both uncertainties.
When a chauffeur wins. Four people with four suitcases and a dog do not fit the train. Neither does a family landing from London at 6 pm on a Friday, a client meeting in Southampton at 9 am, or a wedding party moving between a ceremony and a reception. The fixed price covers the whole car, so per person it often comes close to the train for a group. Read chauffeur vs renting a car if you are weighing a rental for the weekend.
The villages, the roads and the summer season
The Hamptons run along the South Fork of Long Island, from Westhampton east through Southampton, Water Mill, Bridgehampton, Sagaponack, East Hampton and Amagansett to Montauk, with Sag Harbor on the bay side. The Town of Southampton covers the western villages and the Town of East Hampton the eastern ones.
Route 27. Sunrise Highway becomes Montauk Highway, and east of the Shinnecock Canal it is essentially one road through every village. Weekday mornings bring the eastbound trade traffic, and summer weekends add heavy eastbound traffic on Fridays and westbound traffic on Sunday evenings. Chauffeurs plan around it with back roads where they help, but on a holiday Friday no route is fast.
The season. Memorial Day weekend opens the summer, the Fourth of July and August are peak, and Labor Day closes it. Book summer weekends early: SUVs and Sprinters are the first vehicles to go, especially on the Friday before a holiday. Shoulder seasons in May, September and October are quieter, with easier roads and the same fixed prices.
Parking and pickups. Beach lots often need town permits and village streets are narrow, so the car is a real advantage for dinner in Sag Harbor or a beach afternoon. An hourly chauffeur from US$110 an hour in a business sedan (3-hour minimum) means you never look for a space.
Events, the Hampton Classic and summer parties
The Hampton Classic. The horse show in Bridgehampton is one of the biggest weeks of the summer; the Hampton Classic lists the next edition for August 29 to September 5, 2027 at 240 Snake Hollow Road. Grand Prix day brings heavy traffic on Montauk Highway around Bridgehampton, and a chauffeur with a drop-off plan saves a long walk from the parking fields.
The Hamptons International Film Festival. Held each October, with screenings and events in East Hampton and the surrounding villages; check the festival site for the next dates and venue guide. Evening screenings and parties suit the evening package.
Benefits, house parties and nights out. Summer benefits and private parties run most weekends from June to Labor Day. The evening out and event night package starts at US$550 in a business sedan, US$700 in a business SUV and US$1,100 in an Executive Sprinter, covering the ride there, the wait and the ride home. The chauffeur follows New York's rules on passengers and alcohol. See event transportation.
Weddings. The East End is one of the most popular wedding regions in the Northeast, with ceremonies at estates, vineyards, beaches and churches. A typical plan is a First Class car for the couple plus an Executive Sprinter with driver shuttling guests between the hotel, the ceremony and the reception. Our wedding limousine page explains how guest shuttles are scheduled.
Wineries, the North Fork and private tours
The private highlights tour starts at US$440 in a business sedan and US$880 in an Executive Sprinter: the villages of Southampton and East Hampton, the ocean beaches, Sag Harbor's harbour and the drive out to the Montauk Point lighthouse. For a wine day, the North Fork and the South Fork vineyards are best by car, so nobody has to drive between tastings; see wine country tours by chauffeured car. A full-day chauffeur starts at US$810 in a business sedan, US$1,035 in a business SUV and US$1,620 in an Executive Sprinter.
Business in the Hamptons and summer corporate travel
Summer is when a lot of New York business moves east: offsites, client weekends, board dinners and the Friday commute of executives working from a summer house. The corporate roadshow day starts at US$990 in a business sedan, US$1,260 in a business SUV and US$1,620 in a First Class sedan. Companies can open a corporate account with monthly invoicing and book cars for staff and guests; NDAs are available on request.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a car service from JFK to East Hampton cost?
From US$585 in a business sedan, US$765 in a business SUV, US$940 in a First Class SUV and US$1,525 in an Executive Sprinter. The price is per vehicle and all-in for the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet inside arrivals. Tolls and any waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
How long is the drive from JFK to the Hamptons?
About 93 miles (150 km), roughly 2 hours 20 minutes to East Hampton on a clear road. On summer Fridays and holiday weekends it can take much longer, so the desk plans the pickup and the route around the traffic. Flights landing late in the evening often have the clearest roads.
Where does the chauffeur meet me at East Hampton Airport?
At the general aviation arrival area, with the car staged close to where the aircraft parks, subject to airport rules on the day. Give the desk the tail number, operator and estimated arrival time; if the flight is early or late, the pickup time moves with it.
Are child seats available?
Yes. Child seats are available on request. Add the number and type when you book and the chauffeur installs them before pickup. For families arriving at JFK with young children for a summer rental, this is one of the main reasons to pre-book.
What is the cancellation policy?
More than 72 hours before pickup, cancellation is free. Within 72 hours a 10% charge applies, within 48 hours 50%, and within 24 hours or for a no-show the full fare. Refunds go back to the original card. See the cancellation policy.
Can you move a group or a wedding party around the Hamptons?
Yes. The Executive Sprinter carries larger groups with luggage, and the desk can schedule several vehicles for a wedding, a house party or a company offsite. Hourly Sprinter service starts at US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, so the vehicle stays with your group between venues.
Is it worth booking early for summer weekends?
Yes. Summer Fridays, the Fourth of July, Hampton Classic week and Labor Day weekend sell out first, especially SUVs and Sprinters. Booking a few weeks ahead secures the vehicle at the published fixed price; the price does not rise on busy weekends.
