A Kansas City Sprinter van rental on Elly8.net means an Executive Sprinter with a professional chauffeur, not a self-drive van you collect from a lot. It seats up to 12 passengers with up to 12 bags, and the price is per vehicle: US$485 from Kansas City International (MCI) to the Power & Light District, US$925 for the round trip, or US$190 an hour as directed with a 3-hour minimum.
Rides in Kansas City are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. This guide is about choosing the van well: what each Sprinter package costs, how the numbers look per seat, where a Sprinter makes life easier in Kansas City (and where it does not), and how to plan a group pickup that runs to time.
How much does a Sprinter van rental cost in Kansas City?
On Elly8.net, a chauffeured Executive Sprinter in Kansas City costs US$485 from MCI to the Power & Light District, US$190 an hour as directed (3-hour minimum, so US$570 at least), US$950 for a 5-hour evening out and US$1,400 for an 8-hour full day. Every price is fixed, all-in and per vehicle, for up to 12 passengers.
All-in means the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet are already inside the number. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. Kansas City has almost no toll roads, so in practice that line covers event parking and long waits. The airport fare is the same in both directions, so a group heading home to MCI on Sunday pays the same US$485 it paid on arrival. The full grid of vehicles sits on the Kansas City fares panel.

Every Kansas City Sprinter price, and what it means per seat
Elly8.net never charges by the person. The middle column below is simple arithmetic for comparison only: the fixed vehicle price divided by a full load of 12, then by a more typical group of 8.
| Sprinter booking | Price per vehicle | Divided by 12 (comparison only) | Divided by 8 (comparison only) |
|---|---|---|---|
| MCI to the Power & Light District | US$485 | about US$40 | about US$61 |
| MCI round trip | US$925 | about US$77 | about US$116 |
| By the hour, 3-hour minimum | US$570 for 3 hours | US$47.50 | about US$71 |
| Private city highlights tour (4 hours) | US$760 | about US$63 | US$95 |
| Evening out and event night (5 hours) | US$950 | about US$79 | about US$119 |
| Full-day chauffeur (8 hours) | US$1,400 | about US$117 | US$175 |
| Corporate roadshow day (10 hours) | US$1,710 | US$142.50 | about US$214 |
Two things stand out. First, the packages are built from the hourly rate: five hours at US$190 is the US$950 evening price, while the full day and the roadshow day come in below the hourly total (eight hours by the hour would be US$1,520, against US$1,400 for the full-day package). Second, the airport run is the cheapest seat on the list. If your group only needs to get from the gate to the hotel, book the transfer rather than hours.

Sprinter or two SUVs? The Kansas City arithmetic
A business SUV seats up to 6 with up to 6 bags, so two of them carry the same 12 people as one Sprinter. On the Kansas City list the comparison is closer than most people expect.
| Trip | One Executive Sprinter | Two business SUVs | Which tends to win |
|---|---|---|---|
| MCI to the Power & Light District | US$485 | US$490 (2 x US$245) | Sprinter by a whisker, and the group arrives together |
| By the hour, per hour | US$190 | US$240 (2 x US$120) | Sprinter, clearly, on any multi-stop day |
| Evening out, 5 hours | US$950 | US$1,200 (2 x US$600) | Sprinter |
| Full day, 8 hours | US$1,400 | US$1,770 (2 x US$885) | Sprinter |
So why would anyone book two SUVs? Because Kansas City spreads across two states. If half the group is staying downtown and half is in Overland Park or Leawood, two vehicles can run two routes at once instead of one van doing a long loop across the state line. Two SUVs also make sense when the group lands on different flights, when a couple of people need to leave a dinner early, or when you want to split a team between two meetings. The fleet page shows the seats and bag space for every class, and the group transportation page explains how the desk combines vehicles on one booking.
Where a Sprinter earns its keep in Kansas City
Chiefs Sundays at Arrowhead
Game days are where a single van pays for itself. Arrowhead requires parking to be bought in advance, and the stadium's game plan page says cash is not accepted at the toll booths and that vehicles too large for one space may need an oversized or bus/RV pass. App rides have their own drop-off and pick-up at the Missouri Welcome Center between Gates 1 and 2 on Blue Ridge Cutoff, according to the stadium's drop-off and pick-up page.
For a Sprinter, the desk agrees the drop-off and the after-game meeting point with you before the day, and any parking pass the van needs is billed at cost. The evening out and event night package, or an hourly booking long enough to cover the post-game traffic, keeps the van with you. Our sports event transportation page covers how we stage game-day pickups across the network.
Convention week at the Kansas City Convention Center
The Kansas City Convention Center calendar for the coming weeks includes EDspaces (October 28 to November 1), the Grassroots Connect Show (November 9 to 12), the KOA Annual Convention and Expo (November 17 to 19) and Mecum Auctions in early December. A Sprinter is the natural vehicle for a booth team arriving at MCI with sample cases, or for moving a client group between a downtown hotel and an evening dinner. Tell us which building your session is in, because the complex has several entrances. See conference transportation for multi-day schedules.
Concert nights at T-Mobile Center
T-Mobile Center in the Power & Light District has the Jonas Brothers on November 3 and Garth Brooks on November 6 and 7, and when a big show ends, thousands of people leave onto the same downtown streets at once. A group that arrives together and leaves together in one van avoids the post-show scramble for app rides. The van waits at an agreed point a short walk from the doors.
Barbecue, jazz and the museums
The private city highlights tour gives a group four hours with the chauffeur: the Nelson-Atkins sculpture park, the National WWI Museum and Memorial, the 18th and Vine Jazz District, the Plaza fountains and a barbecue stop. At US$760 for the van, it is often the most relaxed way for a family reunion or a visiting team to see the city in one afternoon.
When you do not need a Sprinter
A fair guide should say this plainly. If your group is staying downtown and spending the day between the River Market, the Crossroads and Union Station, the KC Streetcar is free and runs daily from the River Market to UMKC, every 10 to 15 minutes at weekday peaks. A van would be an expensive way to cover streets the streetcar already serves. Likewise, a group of four with carry-ons is better off in a single business SUV at US$245 from MCI. For a straight comparison of the public and on-demand options, read Kansas City taxi or rideshare.
Luggage, golf bags and child seats
Twelve seats and twelve standard bags is the comfortable limit for an Executive Sprinter. Golf bags, strollers, trade-show cases and wheelchairs change the arithmetic, so tell the desk what you are bringing when you book. A group of ten with ten suitcases and four golf bags may be better served by the Sprinter plus a sedan for the overflow, and the desk will say so rather than overload the van.
Child seats are available on request. Give each child's age and weight at booking so the right seats are fitted before pickup, and remember that a fitted child seat takes up a passenger seat.
Planning a group pickup that runs to time
- One lead contact. Give the desk one name and mobile number for the group. The chauffeur calls that person, not twelve phones.
- Flight numbers for everyone. If the group lands on one flight, one pickup is simple. If arrivals are spread over two hours, either book separate pickups or accept that waiting beyond the included time is billed at cost.
- Every address in order. For multi-stop days, list the stops and the times you need to be at each one. The chauffeur plans the route around rush hour on I-29, I-35 and I-435.
- Agree the return point. For games, concerts and dinners, fix the pickup spot before you go in. It saves the call that starts "where are you?".
At MCI, the chauffeur meets the group inside the single terminal with a name board at the exit from baggage claim, and complimentary waiting starts after a tracked landing. More on how arrivals work is on our airport transfers page.
How booking a Kansas City Sprinter works
- Enter the pickup and drop-off, with the flight number for an MCI arrival.
- Choose Executive Sprinter, or a mix of vehicles for a larger or split group.
- Press Reserve now for a published route, or use the web booker for any other address in Kansas City, Overland Park or Lee's Summit. Confirmation arrives by email, and the chauffeur's details follow before pickup.
Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. Refunds go back to the original card. Groups over 12 can be split across several vehicles on one booking, or see our guide to the Kansas City limo bus for wedding-sized parties. The service itself is described on our Sprinter van with driver page.

Frequently asked questions
How many people fit in a Kansas City Sprinter van?
Up to 12 passengers with up to 12 standard bags in an Executive Sprinter. Golf bags, strollers and large cases take extra room, and each fitted child seat uses a passenger seat. Tell the desk exactly what the group is carrying when you book so the vehicle choice is right before anyone lands.
Is a Sprinter cheaper than two SUVs in Kansas City?
Usually, yes. From MCI to the Power & Light District a Sprinter is US$485 against US$490 for two business SUVs, and by the hour it is US$190 against US$240. Two SUVs win only when the group needs to split, for example between downtown and Johnson County hotels.
Can the Sprinter take us to a Chiefs game and wait?
Yes. Book the evening out and event night package or enough hours to cover the game and the traffic. The desk agrees the drop-off and the after-game meeting point in advance. Arrowhead sells parking in advance only, and any pass the van needs is billed at cost.
Is the Sprinter price per person?
No. Every Elly8.net price is per vehicle, so the US$485 airport fare is the same for four passengers or twelve. Dividing it by the headcount is only a way to compare it with other options; you pay one fixed, all-in price for the van.
Can we book a self-drive Sprinter instead?
Elly8.net books chauffeured vehicles only. Every Sprinter comes with a licensed, commercially insured chauffeur partner, which means nobody in the group has to drive, park or navigate Kansas City traffic, and the van can drop you at the door and wait.
What if our group lands on different flights?
Add every flight number when you book. The desk can schedule one pickup after the last landing, or split the group across two vehicles. Complimentary waiting starts after a tracked landing; waiting beyond the included time is billed at cost, so a long gap between flights usually means two pickups.
