A Denver Sprinter van rental through Elly8.net is an Executive Sprinter with a professional chauffeur, seating up to 12 passengers with room for 12 bags, at a fixed price per vehicle. Denver International Airport (DEN) to LoDo and Union Station is US$585, the van by the hour is US$190 with a 3-hour minimum, and the 6-hour Red Rocks and Rocky Mountain foothills day trip is US$1,050.
Denver is where a Sprinter earns its keep. DEN sits about 25 mi (40 km) from downtown, many groups arrive with ski bags or equipment, the best concert venue in the state is up a hill in Morrison, and the mountain resorts are reached on a highway with its own winter traction law. This guide covers the price list, the one-van-or-two decision and the local details the desk plans around.
How much does a Sprinter van with a driver cost in Denver?
An Elly8.net Executive Sprinter in Denver costs US$585 one way between DEN and LoDo and Union Station, US$1,115 for the round trip, US$510 from Centennial Airport (APA), US$190 an hour as directed (3-hour minimum, so US$570), US$950 for the evening out package and US$1,400 for a full day. Prices are per vehicle, fixed and all-in.
All-in means the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, the standard gratuity and airport meet and greet are included. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. Airport fares are the same in either direction, so the trip from a LoDo hotel back to DEN is also US$585.

One Sprinter or two SUVs?
A Business SUV seats up to 6 with 6 bags. From DEN to LoDo, two Business SUVs cost US$590 against US$585 for one Sprinter; by the hour, two Business SUVs are US$240 against US$190 for the van.
The Sprinter is the better choice when the group must travel together, when there are a lot of bags, and on long days with several stops. Two SUVs make sense when the group splits, when some people leave early, or when the destination has tight access. For 13 to 24 people, two Sprinters on one reservation run together. Our group transportation page explains multi-vehicle bookings, and the fleet page lists seats and bags for each class, including the 6-seat Jet Sprinter with captain's chairs, priced in the web booker.
Airport runs from DEN and Centennial
Denver International Airport (DEN)
The drive from DEN to LoDo and Union Station is about 25 mi (40 km), roughly 37 minutes on a clear road, and longer at rush hour, on game nights or in snow. For a group of 12, that is a long way to ride in three or four separate cars, each priced by demand. With the Sprinter, the chauffeur tracks the flight and meets the group inside the terminal at baggage claim with a name board, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. Ski bags and boot bags count as luggage; tell the desk the number when you book.
The A Line commuter train is the real budget option. RTD's fares page lists the Airport Day Pass at US$10, and riders 19 and under travel free. For one or two travellers with carry-on bags heading to Union Station, that is the right choice. For 12 people with equipment, children or a destination away from the rail line, the van at about US$49 a head is usually easier.
Centennial Airport (APA)
Centennial Airport in the south metro area is about 20 mi (33 km) from LoDo, roughly 29 minutes on a clear road, and is a busy general aviation airport for private and charter flights. The Sprinter fare to LoDo is US$510; groups heading to the Denver Tech Center or the southern suburbs get a direct quote in the web booker. Give the desk the FBO, the tail number and the estimated arrival. See private jet and FBO car service.
Red Rocks nights: the rules your chauffeur knows
Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison has detailed rules for vehicles, and they matter for a group.
- Drop-off. The venue says limousines may drop off at the Top Circle Lot or in the Upper North Lot at the discretion of Traffic Control staff, and limo and shuttle bus drop-off is at the Top Circle Lot.
- Parking during the show. Vehicles that stay must fit a standard space or go to designated lots. For Upper North pickups, vehicles must park in a designated space on arrival, and idling or circulating during the performance is not permitted.
- Oversized vehicles. Red Rocks treats any vehicle 6 ft 5 in (about 1.96 m) wide or wider as oversized, including RVs, buses and party bus limos; those cannot be left overnight and must park in Lower South Lot 2.
- The cutoff. Vehicle entry ends nightly at 8:30 p.m. or earlier, and after the cutoff all passenger pickups take place in the Jurassic Lot, which is also where private cars, taxis and rideshare pick up.
The desk plans the pickup point around these rules before the night and tells the group where to walk after the encore. The evening out and event night package is US$950 in the Sprinter. For a daylight visit, the 6-hour Red Rocks and foothills day trip at US$1,050 pairs the park with Golden; the Coors Brewery tour is in Golden for groups that want a stop. See concert transportation.
Game nights and the convention centre
Downtown, Ball Arena hosts the Nuggets and the Avalanche, Coors Field hosts the Rockies, and Empower Field at Mile High hosts the Broncos and stadium concerts. On event nights the surrounding streets close and garages fill, so the chauffeur agrees a drop-off and a separate pickup point away from the crowd. The Colorado Convention Center fills the downtown hotels on big show weeks; teams often hold a Sprinter by the hour to loop between hotels, the hall and dinners. See sports event transportation and conference transportation.
Mountain runs and the I-70 Traction Law
Many Denver Sprinter bookings head west to the ski resorts. The Colorado Department of Transportation's Traction Law covers I-70 from Morrison to Dotsero between September 1 and May 31, or when conditions require. During a traction law, passenger vehicles need tires with at least 3/16-inch tread rated all-weather or winter, or chains or an approved alternative traction device. Non-compliance carries a US$100 fine plus a US$33 surcharge, and US$500 plus a US$157 surcharge if it leads to a lane closure.
What that means for a group booking:
- Allow slack on storm days. If I-70 closes, nobody gets through; build extra time into a transfer timed to a lesson or a check-in.
- Watch the road report. The desk checks COtrip before and during mountain runs.
- Count the gear. Twelve skiers with skis, boots and luggage can exceed what one van carries; the desk may suggest a Sprinter and an SUV.
- Get a fixed quote for the resort. Vail, Aspen, Breckenridge and the other resorts are priced in the web booker; see our Vail car service and Aspen car service pages, or Breckenridge's official visitor site for planning.
The city to city car service page explains how long transfers are priced.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a Sprinter from Denver airport to downtown?
DEN to LoDo and Union Station is US$585 one way in the Executive Sprinter, or US$1,115 round trip, per vehicle. That is about US$49 a head for 12. The price is fixed and all-in, the same in either direction, with the chauffeur meeting you inside the terminal.
How many people and bags fit in a Denver Sprinter?
The Executive Sprinter seats up to 12 passengers with room for 12 bags. Ski equipment takes more space than suitcases, so tell the desk the number of skis, boards and boot bags; for a full group of skiers, a Sprinter plus a Business SUV may be needed.
Can a Sprinter take us to Red Rocks?
Yes. The evening out and event night package is US$950. Red Rocks sets limousine drop-off at the Top Circle Lot or Upper North Lot at staff discretion, and after the nightly cutoff all pickups move to the Jurassic Lot. The chauffeur plans around these rules.
Do you run Sprinters to the ski resorts in winter?
Yes. Enter the resort address in the web booker for a fixed quote. The I-70 Traction Law applies from Morrison to Dotsero between September 1 and May 31, or when conditions require, and the desk checks COtrip before and during the trip. Allow extra time on storm days.
Is the A Line cheaper than a Sprinter?
For one or two people, yes. RTD's Airport Day Pass is US$10, and riders 19 and under travel free. For a group of 12 with bags, the Sprinter at about US$49 each goes door to door, meets you inside the terminal and does not depend on the rail line.
What is the minimum booking for an hourly Sprinter?
Three hours, so the smallest as-directed booking is US$570 at US$190 an hour. Airport transfers, the city tour, the evening package, the Red Rocks day trip and the full day are fixed packages with their own prices.
