An executive car service in Boston is less about the car than about the day around it. A typical principal lands at Logan or Hanscom Field, has a breakfast in Back Bay, a site visit in Kendall Square, a lunch in the Financial District and a dinner in the Seaport, and each of those legs crosses a bridge, a tunnel or Storrow Drive at a different hour. The job of the car is to absorb that complexity so the executive never thinks about it.
This post is written for the executive assistant or chief of staff who books that day. It covers vehicle choice, the rate that fits the schedule, the brief the chauffeur needs, how changes are handled and a fully costed example. Rides in Boston are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
What does an executive car service in Boston cost?
With Elly8.net, an executive car by the hour costs US$100 in a Business Sedan, US$150 in a First Class SUV and US$160 in a First Class Sedan, three-hour minimum, all-in. A full day runs US$740 to US$1,475 by vehicle. Logan to Back Bay is US$130 to US$340; Hanscom to Back Bay US$215 to US$560.
Every price is per vehicle and includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and, on airport pickups, meet and greet. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost, so the only variables on the invoice are the ones you can see.
Business or First Class: choosing the car for the principal
Executive travel splits into two classes on our price list.
Business Sedan and Business SUV. A late-model business sedan seats up to 3 with 2 bags; a Business SUV up to 6 with 6 bags. These suit most executive days, and they are the classes most corporate policies approve for single travellers.
First Class Sedan and First Class SUV. The First Class Sedan is the S-Class or 7 Series tier, with a quieter, roomier rear cabin that works as an office between meetings. The First Class SUV seats up to 6 and suits a principal travelling with an aide, a security lead or winter luggage. Interestingly, in Boston the First Class SUV is priced below the First Class Sedan on every line: US$210 versus US$230 from Logan to Back Bay, and US$150 versus US$160 by the hour.
Partner vehicles are 4 model years or newer, or 7 for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley. If the principal has a preference for a particular model, put it in the booking notes; we will confirm what the local partner can supply for that date rather than promise a specific car we cannot guarantee.
For a broader view of the classes and when each is appropriate, our executive car service page and the fleet page go into detail.
Arrival: Logan or Hanscom
Logan (BOS). Logan is about 5 miles (9 km) from Back Bay, about 13 minutes on a clear road and far longer at the evening peak. The chauffeur tracks the flight, waits inside arrivals at baggage claim with a name board and walks the principal to the car, so there is no trip to the rideshare area in the parking garage. Complimentary waiting after a tracked landing covers a slow customs line at Terminal E.
Hanscom Field (BED). Many executives fly privately into Hanscom Field in Bedford, about 20 miles (33 km) northwest of Back Bay and around 37 minutes on a clear road. Massport lists Jet Aviation, Atlantic Aviation and Signature Aviation as the FBOs on the field. Send us the tail number, the FBO and the expected arrival time; the chauffeur meets the aircraft at the FBO. Hanscom to Back Bay is US$215 in a Business Sedan, US$345 in a First Class SUV, US$380 in a First Class Sedan and US$560 in an Executive Sprinter. See our private jet and FBO transfers page for how we handle schedule changes on private arrivals.
Choosing the rate: point to point, hourly or a full day
The single biggest decision on an executive booking is not the car but the rate.
Point to point suits a day with two or three widely spaced movements: an airport arrival, one meeting, a hotel. Logan and Hanscom to Back Bay are fixed on the Boston car service price list; every other address is priced exactly in the web booker before you pay.
Hourly, as directed suits a day of four or more stops where the times are likely to move. The car and chauffeur stay with the principal, waiting outside each meeting. Rates are US$100 an hour in a Business Sedan, US$125 in a Business SUV, US$150 in a First Class SUV and US$160 in a First Class Sedan, with a three-hour minimum. Our hourly chauffeur page explains how waiting and overruns work.
Full day or corporate roadshow day. The full-day chauffeur is US$740 in a Business Sedan and US$1,180 in a First Class Sedan. The corporate roadshow day, built around a meeting list for investor and client days, is US$900 to US$1,800 depending on vehicle. In a First Class Sedan the full day, at US$1,180, costs less than eight hours at the hourly rate, which would be US$1,280; the price panel shows what each package includes.
| Rate | Business Sedan | First Class SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Logan to Back Bay | US$130 | US$210 | US$230 | US$340 |
| Hanscom to Back Bay | US$215 | US$345 | US$380 | US$560 |
| By the hour (3-hour minimum) | US$100 | US$150 | US$160 | US$200 |
| Full-day chauffeur | US$740 | US$1,105 | US$1,180 | US$1,475 |
| Corporate roadshow day | US$900 | US$1,350 | US$1,440 | US$1,800 |
| Evening out and event night | US$500 | US$750 | US$800 | US$1,000 |
A sample executive day, costed
Here is a realistic Boston day for one principal, booked as First Class Sedan throughout.
- 8:10 a.m. Private arrival at Hanscom Field, met at the FBO. Drive to a Back Bay hotel for a breakfast meeting.
- 10:00 a.m. Back Bay to Kendall Square for a two-hour site visit at a life sciences company.
- 12:30 p.m. Kendall Square to the Financial District for a lunch with bankers.
- 3:00 p.m. Financial District to the Longwood Medical Area for a hospital partnership meeting.
- 5:30 p.m. Back to the hotel to change.
- 7:00 p.m. Dinner in the Seaport, then the hotel.
Booked point to point, that is the Hanscom transfer at US$380 plus five city legs priced in the booker, with the risk that each meeting runs over and the next car has to be re-timed. Booked as a corporate roadshow day at US$1,440, the same chauffeur and car stay with the principal from the FBO to the end of dinner, the itinerary sits with the desk, and the principal walks out of every meeting to the same car at the door. For most assistants, the roadshow day is the cleaner booking: one line on the invoice and no re-timing. Our roadshow chauffeur page shows how the meeting list is handled.
If the principal is landing commercially rather than privately, swap the Hanscom transfer for a Logan pickup and the day becomes a full-day or roadshow booking that starts at baggage claim.
The brief a Boston chauffeur needs
The best executive days are the ones where the chauffeur knew everything before the car moved. Send these with the booking, or set them once in a saved traveller profile on a corporate account:
- The principal's name as it should appear on the name board, and a mobile number for the day.
- Flight number or tail number and FBO, and the expected arrival time.
- The full meeting list with addresses and building entrances; Kendall Square and the Longwood Medical Area have several entrances per campus, and a named door saves minutes.
- Any assistant, aide or security contact and who has authority to change the plan.
- Preferences: temperature, radio off, newspapers, still water, whether the principal takes calls in the car.
- Confidentiality requirements. We arrange NDAs on request for confidential visits, deal days and board meetings.
Boston-specific timing the desk plans around
Boston rewards a chauffeur who knows the calendar. On Marathon Monday, April 19, 2027 according to the Boston Athletic Association, the course and the finish area on Boylston Street in Back Bay are closed, and pickups move to points outside the closures. In May the graduation weekends fill hotels and roads around Boston University, Harvard and MIT. Convention weeks at the Hynes Convention Center in Back Bay and at the Menino center in the Seaport put pressure on the same streets the principal needs.
On game nights at TD Garden and Fenway Park, the roads around North Station and Kenmore Square slow sharply. A good executive itinerary avoids crossing those areas around start and end times, and the desk will flag it when the meeting list collides with an event.
Handling the changes that always come
Executive days change. A meeting runs 40 minutes over, a dinner moves from the Seaport to Beacon Hill, the return flight slips. On an hourly or full-day booking the car simply waits and goes where it is directed; extra time beyond the booked hours is billed at the hourly rate. On point-to-point bookings, call or message the 24/7 desk and we re-time the next leg. The cancellation schedule is the same on every booking: more than 72 hours before pickup free; 72 hours or less 10%; 48 hours or less 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show 100%, refunded to the original card.
Executive car vs an app premium ride
App premium tiers, including Uber Black, are fine for an ad hoc ride. For a scheduled executive day they introduce three risks: a different driver and car each leg, a garage pickup at Logan, and a price set at the moment of request. A pre-booked chauffeur removes all three. Our comparison of Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur sets out the trade-offs in detail.
When the principal travels beyond Boston
Boston executive days often extend along the corridor. A one-way city to city car service to New York City or Hartford can replace a shuttle flight on a bad weather day, and a meeting in Providence is an easy morning out. If your company books cars for many travellers, not just one principal, our guide to Boston corporate car service explains accounts and invoicing at programme level, and our breakdown of Boston limo rental prices shows how to compare any quote line by line.

Frequently asked questions
How much is an executive car service per hour in Boston?
US$100 an hour in a Business Sedan, US$125 in a Business SUV, US$150 in a First Class SUV, US$160 in a First Class Sedan and US$200 in an Executive Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. Each rate is fixed and all-in, including taxes and standard gratuity. Tolls and parking are billed at cost.
Can the same chauffeur stay with the executive all day?
Yes. On an hourly, full-day or corporate roadshow booking the same chauffeur and vehicle stay with the principal for the whole booking, waiting outside each meeting. Point-to-point bookings are separate rides, which is why most assistants book multi-meeting days hourly or as a roadshow day.
Can you meet a private jet at Hanscom Field?
Yes. Send the tail number, the FBO and the expected arrival time. Massport lists Jet Aviation, Atlantic Aviation and Signature Aviation at Hanscom. The chauffeur meets the aircraft at the FBO. Hanscom to Back Bay is US$380 in a First Class Sedan, fixed and all-in.
Is a First Class car worth it for an executive?
When the principal works in the car between meetings, takes confidential calls or is hosting a client, the quieter rear cabin of a First Class Sedan is worth the difference. In Boston a First Class SUV is slightly cheaper than the First Class Sedan and suits a principal travelling with an aide.
Can you arrange an NDA for a confidential visit?
Yes, NDAs are available on request. Tell the desk when you book, list who may receive itinerary details, and the chauffeur is briefed only with what the day requires. This is common for deal days, board meetings and visits that have not been announced.
What happens if the executive's day runs over?
On hourly and full-day bookings the chauffeur waits and the extra time is billed at the hourly rate for that vehicle. On point-to-point bookings, message the 24/7 desk and the next leg is re-timed. A delayed arrival flight is tracked and is never treated as a no-show.
