A Salt Lake City party bus booked through Elly8.net seats up to 12 guests, a stretch SUV limousine up to 16 and a stretch limousine up to 8; all three are priced for your exact night in the web booker. The fixed-price benchmark is the 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$950 for the 5-hour evening out and event night package, with the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity included.
Salt Lake nights come in two shapes. A downtown night, built around dinner and a show or a game at the Delta Center, is compact and easy to plan. A mountain night, with dinner in Park City and the drive back down, adds close to an hour each way and, in winter, the weather. This guide covers both, with sample budgets and the questions to ask before anyone pays.
How many people fit on a party bus in Salt Lake City?
Through Elly8.net, a Salt Lake City party bus seats up to 12, a stretch SUV limousine up to 16, a stretch limousine up to 8 and an Executive Sprinter up to 12 with room for 12 bags. Groups of 17 or more book two vehicles on one reservation, and the desk times them to travel together.
Plan for the leg where the most people ride together, usually the first trip from the meeting point. Leave a spare seat or two when guests are in formal wear or heavy winter coats; in January a full party bus of people in parkas is a tight fit. Capacities are from the Elly8.net fleet page.

| Up to 8 | Stretch limousine | 8 / 2 | Web booker | Anniversaries, proms, a classic night out |
| 9 to 12 | Party bus | 12 / 2 | Web booker | Bachelor and bachelorette nights downtown |
| 9 to 12 with gear | Executive Sprinter | 12 / 12 | US$190 an hour, fixed | Mountain evenings, airport plus party |
| 13 to 16 | Stretch SUV limousine | 16 / 2 | Web booker | Big birthdays, the whole group together |
| 17 and up | Two vehicles on one booking | 24 to 28 | Booker plus fixed | Company parties, wedding guest loops |
For a winter trip up the canyon, the Sprinter is often the better party vehicle: it has room for coats and boots and is the vehicle we recommend for mountain roads. Our Salt Lake City Sprinter guide explains the gear counts and winter planning in detail.
How many hours to book, by kind of night
Count from the first pickup to the last drop-off, including every drive.
A concert or game at the Delta Center. The Delta Center at 301 S. Temple is home to the Utah Jazz and the Utah Mammoth and hosts major concerts. Dinner, the event and the ride home fit 4 to 5 hours. Streets around the arena close and fill on event nights, so the chauffeur agrees a pickup point a short walk away and messages the organiser when in position. See our concert transportation and sports event transportation pages.
A downtown birthday or bachelorette night. Dinner, one or two stops and home, typically 4 to 5 hours. Downtown venues are close together, so most of the booked time is spent with the group rather than on the road. Visit Salt Lake lists restaurants and what is on.
A Park City night. Downtown Salt Lake City to Main Street Park City is about 32 mi (51 km) on a routed estimate, roughly 46 minutes on a clear road, so the round trip uses about an hour and a half of the booking before anyone sits down to dinner. Plan 6 hours at minimum, and in winter add a cushion for weather. Our Park City page has fixed prices for groups staying up in the mountains, where hourly service starts at US$100.
A wedding. Count from the first guest pickup to the last drop-off after the send-off, often 6 to 8 hours; the 8-hour full-day chauffeur package covers most. See wedding limousine.
Prom and graduation. Usually 4 to 5 hours, with a fixed route agreed with parents in advance; see prom limousine.
If the night may run long, book an extra hour now, or release the vehicle after the main event and book a separate late pickup. Extensions on the night are charged at the published hourly rate.
What a Salt Lake party night costs: four sample budgets
These use the fixed Salt Lake City prices so the arithmetic can be checked. Party buses and stretch limousines for the same nights are quoted in the Elly8.net web booker on the same basis: one vehicle, one total, before you pay.
A bachelorette night downtown for twelve. Pickup at 7 p.m., dinner, two stops and home by midnight: the 5-hour evening out package in an Executive Sprinter is US$950, about US$79 each. A party bus for the same night is quoted in the booker.
A Jazz game for six. Pickup at 5:30 p.m., dinner near the arena, the game, home by 10:30 p.m. Five hours in a Business SUV on the evening package is US$600, or US$725 in a First Class SUV, about US$100 to US$121 a head.
A Park City dinner for ten in winter. Pickup downtown at 5 p.m., dinner on Main Street, back by 11 p.m. Six hours in an Executive Sprinter at US$190 an hour is US$1,140, about US$114 each, with the chauffeur handling the drive both ways. The 8-hour full-day chauffeur package at US$1,400 gives slack for a late finish or a slow canyon.
A company holiday party for twenty. Two Executive Sprinters on the 5-hour evening package, US$1,900 in total, about US$95 a guest, with the second van able to leave early for guests who want to go home first. A corporate account puts the booking on one monthly invoice.
Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the booked time are billed at cost; nothing else is added. The standard gratuity is already in the price, so there is nothing to settle with the chauffeur at the end of the night.
Weekend groups: from the airport to the night out
Bachelor and bachelorette weekends often start at the airport, and that changes the vehicle plan. A party bus carries only two bags, so it is the wrong vehicle for a group arriving with suitcases. The usual answer is two bookings: an Executive Sprinter from SLC to the hotel or rental at the fixed US$325 to downtown, with twelve bags in the back, and the party vehicle for the evening once the luggage is unpacked. For a group staying up in Park City, the SLC to Main Street fare is US$795 in the Sprinter, published on the Park City page.
If the group lands on several flights, give the desk every flight number. The Sprinter can wait for the last arrival, or the desk can split the pickup so the first half of the group is not sitting at baggage claim for three hours. On the night itself, nominate one organiser whose phone the chauffeur will message at each stop, and agree a firm leaving time at every venue; scattered groups are the most common reason a night runs into overtime.
Winter nights: what changes
Salt Lake's winters shape party planning more than most cities'. Three things are worth knowing.
Mountain roads. For anything up the Cottonwood Canyons, UDOT's traction rules apply when the beacons outside the canyons are flashing, and UDOT notes there are no gas stations in either canyon. The chauffeur partner prepares the vehicle; the group's part is to leave time.
Live conditions. UDOT's traffic site shows road conditions, and the desk watches them before evening pickups that leave the valley.
Vehicle choice. On a snowy night, a Sprinter or an SUV is the sensible pick for a mountain evening. A stretch limousine is a better fit for a downtown night on cleared city streets.
Rules on drinks in the vehicle
Rules on alcohol in vehicles differ by city and state, and Utah has its own. The chauffeur follows Utah's local rules on conduct and drinks throughout the booking, and the safest plan is to celebrate at licensed venues and use the vehicle to move the group between them. Parents booking for proms and graduations can agree the route and the rules with the desk in advance.
