A Salt Lake City Sprinter van rental through Elly8.net is a chauffeured Mercedes-Benz Sprinter executive van for up to 12 passengers and 12 bags, booked at a fixed, all-in price. Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to downtown is US$325 for the whole van, hourly service is US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, and the 6-hour Park City ski resorts day trip is US$1,050.
Every Sprinter comes with a professional chauffeur; this is not a self-drive rental. In a city where many groups head into the mountains in winter, that distinction matters: the chauffeur partner handles the canyon roads, the traction rules and the resort drop-off lanes, and your group arrives with skis, boots and luggage in one vehicle.
Which Sprinter fits your group in Salt Lake City?
The Executive Sprinter seats up to 12 with room for 12 standard bags and is the fixed-price choice for groups. The Jet Sprinter has captain's chairs for up to 6 with 4 bags and is priced in the web booker. For six or fewer with luggage, a Business SUV or First Class SUV holds 6 passengers and 6 bags for less.
In Salt Lake, count gear before you count seats. Skis, snowboards and boot bags take far more room than suitcases, and a ski bag counts as more than one bag. Ten skiers with full kit may need a Sprinter for the people and an SUV for the overflow; ten convention delegates with roller bags fit easily in one van. Tell the desk the real numbers and we size the booking accordingly.

Five ways groups use a Sprinter in Salt Lake City
1. The ski-trip airport run
The classic booking: a group lands at SLC, the chauffeur meets everyone inside arrivals at baggage claim with a name board, and the van takes people and gear straight to the lodge. Main Street Park City is about 38 mi (62 km) from the airport, roughly 53 minutes on a clear road, at a fixed US$795 in the Sprinter, published on our Park City page. Our SLC airport transfer guide walks through the arrival step by step.
2. A ski day from a downtown hotel
Some groups stay in the city and ski by day. The Park City ski resorts day trip gives you six hours door to door, US$1,050 in the Sprinter, with the van waiting at the resort. Park City Mountain and Deer Valley are the two big resorts there. For Snowbird or Alta in Little Cottonwood Canyon, or Solitude and Brighton in Big Cottonwood, the day is priced in the booker for your exact plan.
3. Conventions and team travel
The Salt Palace Convention Center, described by Visit Salt Lake, anchors downtown's convention calendar. A Sprinter on hourly time or the 10-hour corporate roadshow day at US$1,710 moves a team between hotel, booth and client dinners. Offsites in Park City or down the Wasatch Front work the same way. See conference transportation, and open a corporate account for one monthly invoice.
4. Game and concert nights
The Delta Center at 301 S. Temple is home to the Utah Jazz and the Utah Mammoth and hosts major concerts. For a group of ten, the 5-hour evening out and event night package at US$950 covers the drop-off, the game and the ride back, with the chauffeur at an agreed pickup point once the crowd thins. Our sports event transportation page explains game-night logistics.
5. Weddings in the valley and the mountains
Salt Lake weddings often split between a ceremony in the city and a reception in the foothills or up in Park City. A Sprinter is the usual guest shuttle, running loops between hotels and the venue. See our wedding limousine page for how the couple's car and the guest vans are timed together.
Winter booking tips for mountain days
Know the traction rules. When the beacons outside the canyons are flashing, UDOT's Cottonwood Canyons traction rules require at least 5/32-inch tire tread and, for all-wheel and four-wheel drive vehicles, M+S or snow tires on all wheels as the minimum, with traction devices or three-peak mountain snowflake tires also accepted. The chauffeur partner prepares the vehicle; your job is to leave time.
Expect delays on storm days. UDOT posts road status updates and closures for the canyons, and it notes that there are no gas stations in either canyon. A ski day can absorb a delay; a flight cannot. For a departure from a canyon lodge, the desk plans an earlier pickup on a storm day.
Check conditions before you leave. UDOT's traffic site shows live road conditions, and the desk watches them before mountain pickups.
Give one gear count, not an estimate. "About ten skiers" is how groups end up with a packed van. Count skis, snowboards, boot bags and suitcases separately.
Name one organiser. The chauffeur messages a single contact when the van is in position at the airport or the lodge. Give that person every flight number in the group so the desk can hold the van for the last arrival or split the pickup if flights land hours apart.
Book peak weeks early. Holiday weeks and big ski weekends are the busiest dates for group vehicles. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, so booking early carries little risk.
A ski week for ten, costed
Here is how the fixed prices add up for a typical group: ten friends flying into SLC on a Saturday, staying on Main Street in Park City for six nights, with one evening in Salt Lake for a Jazz game.
- Saturday, arrival. SLC to Main Street Park City in one Executive Sprinter: US$795, about US$80 each. The chauffeur meets the group inside arrivals at baggage claim, and the skis travel in the same van.
- During the week. Park City Mountain and Deer Valley are close to town, so most days need no van at all. For a day at Snowbird or Alta, enter the lodge and the plan in the booker for a fixed quote, and check the canyon forecast the night before.
- Wednesday, game night. An Executive Sprinter on Park City hourly time, or a quote in the booker for the round trip to the Delta Center, takes the group to Salt Lake and back without anyone driving down the canyon after dark.
- Friday, departure. Main Street Park City to SLC is the same US$795. On a storm forecast, the desk moves the pickup earlier.
The two airport legs total US$1,590, about US$159 a person for door-to-door transfers both ways with all the gear, gratuity included. On a corporate account the same plan works for a company ski offsite, with one invoice at the end of the month.
What is included in a Sprinter price
Every fixed price covers the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes and the standard gratuity, and airport fares add meet and greet with flight tracking and complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost, and only if they happen. Because the price is per vehicle, the per-person figure is simple division, and one organiser can pay and collect shares without a gratuity line to settle at the end of the trip.
Sprinter or two SUVs?
The fixed prices make the comparison simple for groups of seven to ten.
- SLC to downtown: one Sprinter is US$325; two Business SUVs are US$330.
- SLC to Main Street Park City: one Sprinter is US$795; two Business SUVs are US$800.
- A 5-hour evening: US$950 against US$1,200 for two SUVs.
- The 6-hour Park City day: US$1,050 against US$1,330.
The Sprinter keeps the group together and costs the same or less. Two SUVs win when the group will split, when half the party leaves the mountain early, or when the ski gear simply does not fit in one vehicle. For groups above 12, book two Sprinters on one reservation. Our group transportation page covers larger parties.
Executive Sprinter, Jet Sprinter or party bus?
Executive Sprinter: 12 seats, 12 bags, fixed prices. Airports, ski trips, teams and weddings.
Jet Sprinter: captain's chairs for up to 6, with 4 bags, priced in the booker. Executives, a small family on a long mountain run, or a client who wants room to work.
Party bus: up to 12 passengers but only two bags, built for the ride rather than luggage. Our Salt Lake City party bus guide explains when it is the better choice.
The fleet page shows every class, and our Sprinter van with driver page explains how Sprinters are booked across all Elly8.net cities.
Who operates the van
Rides in Salt Lake City are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer. Groups continuing to other mountain towns can book the same way in Jackson Hole, Aspen and Vail, and our city to city car service page explains longer transfers.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a Sprinter van with driver in Salt Lake City?
The Executive Sprinter is US$325 from SLC to downtown, US$620 for the round trip, US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, US$950 for a 5-hour evening, US$1,050 for the 6-hour Park City ski day and US$1,400 for 8 hours. Prices are per vehicle, fixed and all-in.
How much is a Sprinter from SLC to Park City?
US$795 from SLC to Main Street Park City in an Executive Sprinter, the same in either direction. With 12 aboard that is about US$66 a person. Lodge addresses elsewhere in Park City and in the Cottonwood Canyons are priced in the web booker and fixed when you reserve.
Does the Sprinter go up the Cottonwood Canyons in winter?
Yes. Enter the lodge address in the web booker for a fixed fare. UDOT's traction rules apply when the canyon beacons are flashing, and storms can slow or close canyon roads, so allow extra time on snow days, especially for a transfer that has to meet a flight.
How many skis fit in an Executive Sprinter?
The Sprinter is rated for 12 passengers and 12 standard bags, and ski bags take more space than suitcases. Give the desk a separate count of skis, snowboards, boot bags and suitcases. If the gear does not fit in one van, the desk will add an SUV rather than overload the Sprinter.
Can the group drive the Sprinter itself?
No. Every Elly8.net Sprinter comes with a professional chauffeur from a licensed, commercially insured local partner. The chauffeur handles the driving, the mountain roads and the airport pickup. Groups who want to drive themselves should use a rental company instead.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less or for a no-show 100%. Refunds go to the original card.
