A London, Ontario party bus through Elly8.net seats up to 12 people and is priced in the web booker for your exact addresses, date and hours, all-in with the driver, taxes and standard gratuity. If you want a published number first, the closest fixed-price option is a 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$1,100 for the evening out and event night package, per vehicle.
Most London groups get the vehicle right and the hours wrong. A Knights game, a Richmond Row birthday and a Middlesex County wedding all need different blocks of time, and the headcount on the group chat is rarely the headcount at the curb. This guide works through people, then hours, then cost. Rides in London, Ontario are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much does a party bus cost in London, Ontario?
On Elly8.net a London party bus is quoted in the web booker for your route, date and hours, all-in. The fixed-price benchmark is a 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum (US$660), or US$1,100 for the evening out and event night package, per vehicle, including driver, taxes and standard gratuity.
Party buses are not on our fixed London price list because the vehicles vary: seating layout, lighting and sound differ between partners, and a Saturday in June is a different job from a Wednesday in November. The sedans, SUVs and the Executive Sprinter are published on the London, Ontario limo service page, so you can compare before you start.

Question one: how many people?
Count the people who will be in the vehicle at the busiest point of the night, not the number invited. For a birthday that means the friends who are doing the whole night; for a wedding it means the wedding party, not the guest list. Then size up if you are within one or two seats of a limit, because coats, bags and a photographer take space.
These capacities come from our fleet page. Seats are seats: no vehicle carries more people than it has belted positions.
| Vehicle | Seats | Bags | London price | Typical London job |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business SUV / Van | up to 6 | 6 | US$140 an hour; US$700 evening package | small birthdays, dinner and a show |
| First Class SUV | up to 6 | 6 | US$165 an hour; US$825 evening package | a premium cabin for six |
| Stretch Limousine | up to 8 | 2 | web booker | proms, the classic wedding photo |
| Executive Sprinter | up to 12 | 12 | US$220 an hour; US$1,100 evening package | Knights games, Stratford trips, wedding parties |
| Party Bus | up to 12 | 2 | web booker | birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette nights |
| Stretch SUV Limousine | up to 16 | 2 | web booker | bigger celebrations |
| Two vehicles | 13 and up | varies | booker and desk | large wedding parties, office parties |
Six or fewer. A Business SUV is the honest answer. It costs less than any large vehicle, parks where a bus cannot, and is easy to hold outside a Richmond Row restaurant.
Seven to twelve. This is the party bus and Sprinter range. The party bus has perimeter seating and a sound system, so the ride is part of the night. The Executive Sprinter has forward-facing seats and room for 12 bags, which makes it the better choice when the trip includes luggage, a long drive or a group that mainly wants a calm ride home. Our party bus rental and Sprinter van with driver pages compare them in detail.
Thirteen and up. Book two vehicles or the Stretch SUV Limousine, which seats up to 16. Two vehicles cost more than one, but they split a group that will not all want to leave at the same time, which is the most common problem at a wedding or a big birthday. Groups over 12 that need a coach should ask the desk.
Question two: how many hours?
Hourly bookings have a 3-hour minimum, and that is enough for many London nights. The trick is to count from the first pickup to the last drop-off, including the drive between homes, the wait outside the venue and the time it takes to round everyone up at the end.
| London plan | Realistic block | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Dinner and a Knights game at Canada Life Place | 4 to 5 hours | pickups, dinner, the game, and the slow exit onto Dundas Street |
| Richmond Row birthday | 3 to 4 hours | several stops close together; the late pickup is what matters |
| Prom or formal | 3 to 4 hours | photos, the venue drop, and a firm return home |
| Wedding: church, photos, reception | 5 to 7 hours, or a full day | photo stops in parks and a rural reception add time |
| Stratford Festival evening | about 6 hours | a drive of about an hour each way, the show and dinner |
| Office party with hotel shuttles | 4 to 6 hours | loops between hotels and the venue |
Event nights downtown. Canada Life Place at 99 Dundas Street hosts London Knights games, the Broadway in London series, which runs from November 2026 to May 2027, and touring concerts. Dundas Street is busy before and after shows, so the driver usually stages a short walk away and the group meets there. Build the exit into your hours: the end of a game is when time disappears. Our concert and festival transportation and sports event transportation pages explain how holds and pickups work.
Summer. Sunfest fills Victoria Park from 8 to 11 July 2027 with outdoor stages and food exhibitors. Streets around the park are crowded, so plan a drop-off point a short walk away and agree the pickup time in advance.
Stratford. The Stratford Festival is about 60 km from London. A group outing to a matinee or an evening show is one of the best uses of a Sprinter: nobody hunts for parking, nobody drives home in the dark, and the bags of shopping ride in the back.
When the night runs long. Extra time is billed at the hourly rate of the vehicle you booked. Agree a realistic end time up front, so overtime is a decision rather than an accident.
Question three: what will it cost?
Every Elly8.net price is per vehicle, never per person. The table divides the fixed London prices by the seats to help a group split the bill; the divided columns are arithmetic for comparison only.
| London plan | Executive Sprinter | Divided by 12, for comparison only | Business SUV | Divided by 6, for comparison only |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 hours hourly | US$660 | US$55 | US$420 | US$70 |
| 4 hours hourly | US$880 | about US$73 | US$560 | about US$93 |
| Evening out and event night | US$1,100 | about US$92 | US$700 | about US$117 |
| Full-day chauffeur | US$1,620 | US$135 | US$1,035 | US$172.50 |
Prices include the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes and standard gratuity. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost; inside London there are normally none. The party bus, the Stretch Limousine and the Stretch SUV Limousine are quoted in the booker for your date, and the quote is the total for the vehicle as entered.
Out-of-town guests. If part of the group is flying in, the airport legs are fixed too. From London International Airport (YXU) to downtown, an Executive Sprinter is US$250, and from Toronto Pearson to downtown London it is US$1,030. A wedding party arriving together on one flight is one vehicle and one price.
The comparison most groups make. Six people splitting rideshares to a game and back means two or three cars each way, dynamic prices after the final whistle and a wait at the curb. A taxi works for a pair heading home early. A booked vehicle wins when the group wants to arrive together, leave together and know the total before the night. Our chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft and how much does a limo cost pages set out the general case.
Which occasion, which vehicle
Birthdays and nights out. The party bus is made for this: perimeter seating, lighting and music. Keep the plan to two or three stops so the night is spent at the venues, not in transit between them.
Bachelor and bachelorette nights. Same vehicle, firmer house rules. Agree in advance who the group contact is and what time the last drop-off is.
Proms and formals. A Stretch Limousine for up to 8 or a Sprinter for up to 12, with a named parent contact and a fixed pickup list. The chauffeur follows Ontario's rules on alcohol in vehicles, and on a prom night that means none. See prom limousines.
Weddings. A First Class Sedan for the couple and an Executive Sprinter for the wedding party is the usual pairing; a party bus suits the late run from the reception for the friends who stay to the end. See wedding limousine service.
Western and Fanshawe celebrations. Graduation dinners, residence formals and homecoming weekends all book early. Western University homecoming in the fall and spring convocation fill hotels and restaurants at the same time.
Corporate nights. RBC Place functions and holiday parties use Sprinter loops between hotels and the venue, billed to one corporate account with monthly invoicing. See group transportation.
Pickups, routes and where the bus can stop
A 12-seat vehicle needs a place to stop, and in London that shapes the plan more than people expect. Downtown, around Dundas, Richmond and King streets, the driver needs a legal spot to load, so the desk agrees a pickup point near the restaurant or the arena rather than the front door on a busy night. Richmond Row is best treated as one stop with a walk between venues, not a crawl with the bus following.
In the suburbs it is simpler. North London around Masonville, the south-end hotels near Highway 401 and Wonderland Road, and most family homes have driveways or quiet streets where a group can board in a few minutes. If the first pickups are spread across the city, list them in a sensible order and allow ten to fifteen minutes each; three homes in three corners of London can use half an hour of a 3-hour booking before anyone reaches dinner. For a wedding, a single gathering point, usually the hotel where the wedding party is staying, saves the most time.
The questions to ask before you sign
Whoever you book with, get answers to these in writing.
- Is the price the total? Ours includes the driver, taxes and standard gratuity; tolls, parking and extra waiting are at cost. Ask any operator whether gratuity or a fuel surcharge is added later.
- When do the hours start? Some operators bill from the garage. On Elly8.net the booker quote is for your trip as entered.
- How many belted seats? A vehicle "for 20" that seats 14 comfortably is a classic complaint. Check the seat count against your headcount.
- What triggers a cleaning fee? Agree house rules with your group before the night.
- Who is driving? Ask whether the operator is licensed and commercially insured, and how old the vehicle is. Our partner vehicles are four model years old or newer.
- What is the cancellation policy? Ours: free more than 72 hours before pickup; 10% at 72 hours or less; 50% at 48 hours or less; 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, refunded to the original card. Full terms are on the cancellation policy page.
A planning timeline
Six to eight weeks out for June wedding Saturdays, prom season and the Sunfest weekend. Lock the vehicle and the hours.
Two to three weeks out for a birthday or a game night. Confirm the headcount and the pickup addresses.
The week before. Send the final pickup list, the group contact's phone number and any venue notes. If the plan changes, the desk updates it; changes inside 72 hours follow the cancellation terms.
On the night. The driver arrives at the first pickup at the booked time. Tell the group contact to keep everyone together at the agreed pickup point at the end.
Planning a trip in the other direction? Our guide to Kingston party bus sizes, prices and fine print covers the same ground for eastern Ontario, and Muskoka party bus planning deals with the long distances of cottage-country weddings.

Frequently asked questions
How many people fit in a party bus in London, Ontario?
The party bus in our fleet seats up to 12. For 13 to 16 people, the Stretch SUV Limousine seats up to 16, and larger groups book two vehicles. Count the people who will ride at the busiest point of the night and size up if you are within a seat or two of the limit.
What is the minimum booking for a London party bus?
Hourly bookings have a 3-hour minimum. Many London nights fit in three or four hours; a wedding usually needs five to seven, or a full-day chauffeur from US$1,620 in an Executive Sprinter. Count from the first pickup to the last drop-off, including the wait at the venue.
Is the price per person?
No. Every Elly8.net price is per vehicle. A 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$660 for three hours works out to US$55 a head if 12 people share it, but that division is arithmetic for comparison only; the booking is for the vehicle.
Can we drink on the party bus?
The chauffeur follows Ontario's rules on alcohol in vehicles, and those rules are strict. Plan the drinks for the venue rather than the ride, and never assume a vehicle allows it. On prom nights there is no alcohol at all.
Is gratuity included?
Yes. Standard gratuity is included in every Elly8.net price, along with the chauffeur, the vehicle and taxes. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. Nothing else is added at the end of the night, and the booker quote shows the total before you pay.
How early should we book for a June wedding?
Six to eight weeks ahead for June and September Saturdays, and earlier if you need two vehicles. Prom season and the Sunfest weekend in July are busy at the same time. Smaller birthdays and game nights usually book two to three weeks out.
