A Muskoka party bus through Elly8.net seats up to 12 and is priced in the web booker for your addresses, date and hours, all-in with the driver, taxes and standard gratuity. The published benchmark is a 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, US$1,100 for the evening out and event night package, or US$1,620 for a full day, per vehicle.
What makes Muskoka different from a city is that the night is spread out. Guests stay at three or four cottages and a resort, the ceremony is on a dock, the reception is at a venue 20 minutes away down a fire route, and the last ride home leaves after midnight on unlit roads. So the questions are not only how many people and how many hours, but how many trips each vehicle has to make. Rides in Muskoka are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much does a party bus cost in Muskoka?
On Elly8.net a Muskoka party bus is quoted in the web booker for your addresses, date and hours, all-in. Fixed published prices start with a 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum (US$660), US$1,100 for an evening out and US$1,620 for a full day, per vehicle, including driver, taxes and standard gratuity.
Party buses are not on the fixed Muskoka list because partner vehicles differ and because a July wedding Saturday at a resort is not the same job as a February birthday in Bracebridge. Sedans, SUVs and the Executive Sprinter are published on our Muskoka car service page.

How many people: seats, not guests
Capacities come from our fleet page. No vehicle carries more people than it has belted seats.
| Vehicle | Seats | Bags | Muskoka price | Muskoka fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business SUV / Van | up to 6 | 6 | US$140 an hour; US$700 evening | a cottage group of six, gravel roads |
| First Class SUV | up to 6 | 6 | US$165 an hour; US$825 evening | the couple and parents |
| Stretch Limousine | up to 8 | 2 | web booker | wedding photos at a resort |
| Executive Sprinter | up to 12 | 12 | US$220 an hour; US$1,100 evening | guest shuttles, Pearson arrivals |
| Party Bus | up to 12 | 2 | web booker | bachelor and bachelorette nights, birthdays |
| Stretch SUV Limousine | up to 16 | 2 | web booker | a big celebration on paved roads |
Twelve or fewer. One vehicle. Choose the party bus if the ride is part of the celebration, the Executive Sprinter if the trip is long, the road is rough or the group has bags.
More than twelve. Two vehicles, or loops. Groups that need a coach can ask the desk.
The road question: can the vehicle get there?
This is the Muskoka-specific step, and it comes before anything else. Many cottages and some venues sit at the end of long private roads or fire routes: narrow, gravel, steep in places, with tight turns and no room to turn around. A long, low party bus or stretch limousine is built for town streets and resort driveways, not those roads.
Give the desk the full civic address, the road or fire-route number and any gate details for every pickup and drop-off. If a road is not suitable for a large vehicle, the desk says so in advance and suggests either a Business SUV for that stop or a meeting point at the end of the road, such as a marina, a resort lobby or the paved road at the bottom of the lane. Planning that before the day is what stops a wedding party from walking up a dark gravel road in good shoes.
Loops: how to move a whole wedding
For a wedding with 60 guests and 12-seat vehicles, the arithmetic is simple and unforgiving: either five vehicles at once, or fewer vehicles making several trips.
| Guests | Executive Sprinters | Trips per vehicle | What it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 | 1 | 1 | wedding party only |
| 24 | 2 | 1, or 1 Sprinter making 2 loops | small wedding, one hotel |
| 36 | 3 | 1, or 2 Sprinters with loops | guests at two or three properties |
| 60 | 3 | 2 loops each | most resort weddings |
| 60 | 5 | 1 | when everyone must arrive together |
The trade-off is time. A loop from a cottage cluster to a venue 20 minutes away and back takes the better part of an hour once loading is counted, so two loops before a ceremony means the first group arrives early. For the end of the night, loops work well: the first Sprinter leaves after dinner with the people who want to go, the second after the last dance.
Resorts make this easier. At a venue such as Deerhurst Resort near Huntsville or Taboo Muskoka in Gravenhurst, guests staying on site need no shuttle at all, and the vehicles only serve the guests staying elsewhere.
A sample wedding day, start to finish
Every wedding is different, but most Muskoka weddings we book follow a similar shape. Here is an illustration for 60 guests, with the ceremony on a dock at a cottage and the reception at a venue about 20 minutes away.
- Early afternoon. A First Class SUV collects the couple and parents for photographs. One Executive Sprinter takes the wedding party from their cottage to the photo locations.
- Mid-afternoon. Two more Sprinters start loops from the guest accommodation to the ceremony, so the last guests are seated well before the start.
- After the ceremony. All three Sprinters move guests to the reception venue, with the wedding party last.
- After dinner. The first Sprinter leaves with guests who want an early night, usually older relatives and families with children.
- After the last dance. The remaining vehicles run the final returns to each property, in the order agreed with the planner.
- Monday. Sprinters and sedans run guests to Pearson, timed to each flight.
The planner or a named family member is the desk's contact for the day, with the pickup list by property and the road notes for each cottage.
House rules that keep the night easy
Agree a few rules with your group before the night: one contact person who speaks for the group, a firm last pickup time, no standing while the vehicle is moving, and nothing on board that the chauffeur would have to clean up. The chauffeur follows Ontario's rules on alcohol in vehicles, so the drinks stay at the venue. These rules are not about spoiling the fun; they are what stops a cleaning charge, an overtime bill or a late return at 2 a.m. on a dark road.
Winter and shoulder-season parties
Muskoka is not only a summer destination. Winter weekends at a resort, holiday parties in the towns and fall colour reunions all book groups, and they come with their own planning. Snow belts north of Barrie make the roads slower, and some cottage lanes are not ploughed, so meeting points at a resort or a town centre are more common between December and March. Daylight is short, which makes the late return the part of the night where a professional driver matters most.
How many hours
Hourly bookings have a 3-hour minimum. In Muskoka, count the drive from the first pickup, the time between towns and the late return.
| Muskoka plan | Realistic block |
|---|---|
| Bachelor or bachelorette night in Bracebridge or Huntsville | 4 to 5 hours, with the cottage pickups |
| Dinner at a resort from a cottage | the evening out package |
| Birthday with two stops | 3 to 4 hours |
| Wedding guest shuttles | a full day, or two hourly blocks for before and after |
| Tour of the towns, or an Algonquin day | a full day |
| Fall colour drive | 4 to 6 hours |
Wedding days. Two blocks often cost less than one long one: a Sprinter from the afternoon for the ceremony and photos, and a second booking from late evening for the returns. If the same vehicle is needed all day, the full-day chauffeur at US$1,620 in an Executive Sprinter is simpler. Overtime beyond the booked hours is billed at the hourly rate.
Days out. Algonquin Provincial Park along Highway 60 is a long day from the southern lakes; a full-day booking keeps the group together without anyone driving back in the dark.
What it costs, worked out
Every Elly8.net price is per vehicle. The divided columns are arithmetic to help a group compare; they are not per-person prices.
| Muskoka plan | Price | Vehicles | Divided by seats, for comparison only |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 hours, one Executive Sprinter | US$660 | 1 | US$55 for 12 |
| Evening out, one Executive Sprinter | US$1,100 | 1 | about US$92 for 12 |
| Full day, one Executive Sprinter | US$1,620 | 1 | US$135 for 12 |
| Wedding shuttles, three Sprinters for a full day | US$4,860 | 3 | US$81 for 60 guests on two loops |
| Evening out, one Business SUV | US$700 | 1 | about US$117 for 6 |
| Pearson to Bracebridge, one Executive Sprinter | US$1,120 | 1 | about US$93 for 12 |
Prices include chauffeur, vehicle, taxes and standard gratuity. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. The party bus, stretch limousine and stretch SUV limousine are quoted in the booker for your date.
Guests flying in. Many Muskoka groups start at Pearson. An Executive Sprinter from Pearson to Bracebridge and the lakes is US$1,120 one way, US$2,130 round trip, fixed. Our Pearson to Muskoka car service guide explains the arrival, and Toronto to Muskoka by private car covers the long weekends to avoid.
Occasions that book groups in Muskoka
Weddings. The biggest group job in cottage country. A First Class Sedan or SUV for the couple, Sprinters for the wedding party and guests, a party bus for the late run, and Monday departures to Pearson. See wedding limousine service.
Bachelor and bachelorette weekends. A cottage, a night out in town and a dinner at a resort. Agree a group contact, a last pickup time and house rules. The chauffeur follows Ontario's rules on alcohol in vehicles, so plan drinks for the venue, not the ride.
Corporate retreats. Resort conferences need arrival waves from Pearson, shuttles between venues and an hourly car for VIPs, on one corporate account. See conference transportation and group transportation.
Family reunions and milestone birthdays. A Sprinter for a day of the towns and dinner, so the generations travel together.
For events in other Ontario cities, our guides to London, Ontario party buses and Kingston party bus fine print cover their own venues and calendars. More on vehicles in party bus rental and Sprinter van with driver.

When to book
July, August and September Saturdays are the busiest days of the Muskoka year, with venues, roads and vehicles all in demand. Book wedding transport two to three months ahead, and as soon as the date is set for long weekends. Send the final guest count, the pickup list by property and the road notes two weeks before.
One last planning tip: share the transport schedule with guests before the weekend, in the wedding website or the welcome note, with the pickup times at each property. Guests who know when the Sprinter leaves are at the door when it arrives, and the loops run on time.
How booking works
- Enter pickups and drop-offs in the web booker, with road notes for every cottage.
- Choose the vehicles by seats, bags and road access.

Frequently asked questions
How many people fit on a party bus in Muskoka?
Our party bus seats up to 12, the same as an Executive Sprinter, and the Stretch SUV Limousine seats up to 16. For a wedding with more guests, plan several Sprinters or loops: three Sprinters making two loops each move about 72 seats' worth of guests before and after the reception.
Can a party bus drive down a cottage road?
Often not. Long, low vehicles are built for paved roads and resort driveways, and many cottage roads are narrow gravel lanes with no turning room. Give the desk every address with road notes; where a large vehicle cannot go, we suggest an SUV or a meeting point at the end of the road.
How many hours should we book for a Muskoka wedding?
Either a full day, from US$1,620 in an Executive Sprinter, or two blocks: one for the ceremony and photos and one for the late returns. Hourly bookings have a 3-hour minimum, and time beyond the booked hours is billed at the hourly rate.
Is the price per person?
No. Every Elly8.net price is per vehicle. An Executive Sprinter evening at US$1,100 works out to about US$92 a head for 12 people, but that division is for comparison only; the booking is for the vehicle, including driver, taxes and standard gratuity.
Can you bring our guests from Pearson?
Yes. An Executive Sprinter from Pearson to Bracebridge and the lakes is US$1,120 one way, fixed and all-in, and the chauffeur meets the group inside arrivals with a name board. Guests on different flights can be grouped where the timing allows, and Monday departures are timed to each flight.
When should we book?
Two to three months ahead for July, August and September Saturdays, and as soon as possible for long weekends. Smaller nights out usually book two to three weeks ahead. Send the final headcount, pickup list and road notes two weeks before the event.
