An Edmonton limo bus booked through Elly8.net comes in four practical sizes: a stretch limousine for up to 8 passengers, a party bus for up to 12, an Executive Sprinter for up to 12 with room for 12 bags, and a stretch SUV limousine for up to 16. The Sprinter has fixed Edmonton prices, US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum or US$1,100 for the five-hour evening out and event night package, and the party bus and stretch vehicles are priced for your date and hours in the web booker.
Getting the booking right is mostly arithmetic. Count the most people who will ride together at any one time, count the hours from the first pickup to the last drop-off, and count the stops in between. This guide from the Elly8.net desk works through all three for the nights Edmontonians actually book: Oilers games, concerts, birthdays on Whyte Avenue, stagettes, graduations and holiday parties. Prices are in US dollars and always per vehicle.
How many people fit in a limo bus in Edmonton?
Through Elly8.net in Edmonton, a stretch limousine seats up to 8, a party bus up to 12, an Executive Sprinter up to 12 with 12 bags, and a stretch SUV limousine up to 16. For a bigger group, book two vehicles together on one reservation: a stretch SUV and a Sprinter carry up to 28.
Plan around the busiest moment of the night, which is usually the ride to the main venue. Leave a seat or two spare if guests are in formal wear, carrying gifts or bringing a photographer. The fleet page lists seats and luggage for every class.

Step 1: count the people
| Group size | Best fit | Luggage space | How it is priced |
|---|---|---|---|
| up to 8 | Stretch limousine | 2 bags | Web booker, by date and hours |
| 9 to 12, a night out | Party bus | 2 bags | Web booker, by date and hours |
| 9 to 12, with bags or gear | Executive Sprinter | 12 bags | US$220 per hour, 3-hour minimum |
| 13 to 16 | Stretch SUV limousine | 2 bags | Web booker, by date and hours |
| 17 to 28 | Stretch SUV plus a Sprinter | 14 bags | Both on one booking |
Two things change the answer. If the group is collecting bags, sports gear or wedding dresses on the way, the Sprinter's 12 bags matter more than a party bus's lighting. And if half the group is joining later, you may not need the big vehicle for the whole night; a Sprinter for the main block plus a sedan for the late arrivals can cost less than a larger vehicle all evening.
Rides in Edmonton are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer.
Step 2: count the hours
Groups underestimate time more than anything else. Hourly service is booked as directed, with a 3-hour minimum, and the hours run from the first pickup to the last drop-off. Collecting eight people from four addresses across the city can take an hour before the night starts.
These are typical shapes for Edmonton nights, using our routed drive times.
| Occasion | First pickup to last drop-off | Hours to book | Sprinter cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oilers game at Rogers Place | Pickups, the game, a drink after, drop-offs | 5 | US$1,100 package |
| Concert at Commonwealth Stadium | Pickups, the show, a slow exit, drop-offs | 5 | US$1,100 package |
| Birthday on Whyte Avenue | Dinner downtown, then Old Strathcona | 4 to 5 | US$880 to US$1,100 |
| Stagette or stag night | Three or four stops across town | 5 to 6 | US$1,100 to US$1,320 |
| High school graduation | Photos, dinner, the dance, home | 5 to 6 | US$1,100 to US$1,320 |
| Holiday party with hotel shuttles | Several loops between a venue and hotels | 4 to 6 | US$880 to US$1,320 |
Figures above five hours are arithmetic at the hourly rate (six hours at US$220 is US$1,320). The five-hour evening out and event night package is the simplest booking for most nights.
Distances that matter. By our routing, downtown to Whyte Avenue is about 4 km (7 minutes), downtown to Commonwealth Stadium about 3 km, downtown to West Edmonton Mall about 12 km (19 minutes), and downtown to Sherwood Park or St. Albert about 15 km each. A group spread between St. Albert and Sherwood Park spends real time on pickups before anyone reaches a venue.
Step 3: count the stops
Every stop costs time: parking, loading, someone who is not ready. Multi-stop trips are fine; list them when you book so the desk can plan the order. A good rule is ten minutes per pickup at a house and fifteen at a busy venue, plus the drive.
Game nights. When Rogers Place, home of the Oilers, empties after a game or a concert, the whole crowd leaves together. The chauffeur drops you near your entrance and collects you from an agreed corner a block or two away; agree the meeting point before you get out. See sports event transportation.
Stadium concerts. The Edmonton Elks play at Commonwealth Stadium, which also hosts the city's biggest summer concerts. Exit traffic is slow, so allow for it in the hours. See concert transportation.
Summer festivals. K-Days usually runs in late July, and the Fringe fills Old Strathcona in August. Explore Edmonton publishes the official calendar; book the vehicle as soon as your date is set.
What it costs, honestly
The Sprinter is the vehicle with fixed prices on the Edmonton limo service page:
| Executive Sprinter, Edmonton | Price per vehicle | As arithmetic for 12 riders |
|---|---|---|
| 3 hours (minimum) | US$660 | US$55 each |
| 4 hours | US$880 | about US$73 each |
| Evening out and event night, 5 hours | US$1,100 | about US$92 each |
| Full day, 8 hours | US$1,620 | US$135 each |
| YEG airport to downtown, one way | US$405 | about US$34 each |
The per-person column is arithmetic for comparison only. Elly8.net prices are always per vehicle, never per person, and the group pays one price whether 6 or 12 people ride. Party buses and stretch vehicles are priced in the web booker for your exact date and hours; Saturday nights in graduation season and around the holidays are the first to go, so price them early. For what drives limo prices in general, see how much does a limo cost.
Prices include the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the booked time are billed at cost.
Paying, splitting and winter nights
One organiser, one payment. A fixed-price booking is paid by card at checkout when you press Reserve now, in US dollars, by the person who books. How the group shares the cost is up to the group. Any refund under the cancellation policy goes back to the original card, so the organiser should be the person who holds the plan.
Collecting the group. Pickups at several homes are the most common source of a late start. Send everyone the pickup time ten minutes earlier than the chauffeur's, and give the desk one mobile number for the organiser; the chauffeur messages that number, not twelve.
Winter. From November to March, the car matters as much as the route. The chauffeur keeps the vehicle warm, waits at the agreed point rather than making the group walk to it, and in heavy snow allows extra time between stops. For a December holiday party, that is often the main reason to book: nobody stands outside a venue at minus 20 waiting for a ride that is still ten minutes away.
Holiday party shuttles. For a company party at a downtown hotel or a venue such as Fort Edmonton Park, a Sprinter can run loops between the venue and two or three hotels for the evening, which keeps guests off the roads. Book it by the hour and send the desk the loop and the last departure time.
Questions to settle before you pay
Is the vehicle confirmed by class? You book a class: party bus, stretch SUV, Sprinter. The party bus rental and Sprinter van with driver pages explain what each includes.
Who is the operator? A licensed, commercially insured local partner. In Edmonton, limousines and party buses are a pre-booked category: the City's vehicle-for-hire rules say they must be booked in advance and cannot be hailed, and they carry a City limousine plate.
What about drinks? Chauffeurs follow Alberta's rules on alcohol in vehicles. Plan drinks at the venue, not on the bus.
Graduations and teenagers. For a high school graduation, a parent or organiser books, gives the desk the list of pickups and the finish time, and receives the chauffeur's details. See prom and graduation limousines.
What if the night runs late? Waiting beyond the booked time is billed at cost. If you think it might, book an extra hour rather than rely on overtime.
What if plans change? Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, refunded to the original card.
When a limo bus is not the answer
For four friends going to one restaurant, a business SUV by the hour, from US$140, is simpler. For a single ride home after a game, a taxi at the City's bylaw fare may be cheapest; our Edmonton taxi and rideshare guide has the numbers. And for a wedding party, the vehicle count changes completely; see how many wedding cars you need in Edmonton. The broader picture of Edmonton neighbourhoods and packages is in our Edmonton limo rental guide.
Larger company events and conferences are covered by group transportation, with several vehicles under one booking and a corporate account for monthly invoicing. Heading to the mountains with the group? Our Calgary and Banff pages have the fixed fares at that end.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a limo bus in Edmonton?
The Executive Sprinter, for up to 12 passengers with 12 bags, costs US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$1,100 for the five-hour evening out and event night package. Party buses and stretch limousines are priced for your date in the web booker. All prices are per vehicle and include the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity.
How many hours should a group book?
Count from the first pickup to the last drop-off, then add half an hour for a game or show that runs late. Most Edmonton nights out, games and concerts fit five hours. Stagettes and graduations with several stops often need five to six. The minimum is three hours.
How many people fit in a party bus?
Through Elly8.net in Edmonton, a party bus seats up to 12 passengers. A stretch limousine seats up to 8 and a stretch SUV limousine up to 16. For more, combine vehicles on one booking; a stretch SUV and an Executive Sprinter together carry up to 28.
Is a limo bus priced per person?
No. Elly8.net prices are always per vehicle. Dividing the price by the number of riders is useful arithmetic for a group splitting the cost, but the booking is one price for the vehicle, whether 6 or 12 people ride, paid by one organiser at checkout.
Can we drink on the limo bus?
Chauffeurs follow Alberta's rules on alcohol in vehicles, so plan drinks at your venues rather than on board. For graduations and any group with under-age guests, the organiser should tell the desk, and the chauffeur keeps to the agreed plan and finish time.
Does a limo bus need to be booked in advance?
Yes. In Edmonton, limousines and party buses must be pre-booked under the City's vehicle-for-hire rules and cannot be hailed on the street. Saturday nights in graduation season and around the holidays go first, so reserve as soon as the date is fixed.
