Limo bus rental in London, Ontario through Elly8.net starts with the 12-seat Executive Sprinter at a fixed US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$1,620 for a full day, all-in and per vehicle. Party buses and stretch SUV limousines for up to 16 are priced to your date and route in the web booker. For a wedding, the bus usually does one of two jobs: carrying the wedding party between the getting-ready address, the ceremony, the photographs and the reception, or shuttling guests between a downtown ceremony and a reception out of town.
Planners in London tend to run into the same three surprises: a group that has grown past the seat count, a shuttle schedule that leaves guests waiting, and an hourly total that ran longer than budgeted. Each is avoidable with a little arithmetic and a few questions before signing. This guide works through all three, with a timeline for weddings and for prom season.
What size of limo bus do you need in London, Ontario?
Count the riders, not the guest list, and add one spare seat. Up to 8 fit a stretch limousine, up to 12 an Executive Sprinter or party bus, and up to 16 a stretch SUV limousine. A wedding party of 14 needs two vehicles. For guest shuttles, divide riders by 12 and round up, or plan two runs.
Rides in London, Ontario are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Every vehicle for the day goes on one booking.

The vehicles, compared for weddings and proms
| Vehicle | Seats | Bags | How it is priced | Wedding or prom job |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stretch Limousine | 8 | 2 | priced in the web booker | the classic photo arrival for a small wedding party or a prom group |
| Executive Sprinter | 12 | 12 | US$220/h, 3-hour minimum; full day US$1,620 | wedding party with kits and gifts; guest shuttles; airport runs |
| Party Bus | 12 | 2 | priced in the web booker | prom and formal groups, after-parties |
| Stretch SUV Limousine | 16 | 2 | priced in the web booker | the largest single group that wants to arrive together |
| First Class Sedan | 3 | 2 | US$180/h, 3-hour minimum | the couple's own car |
The Sprinter is the workhorse of a wedding day because it carries luggage as well as people: 12 seats and 12 bags. Garment bags, a florist's box, a speaker's notes and the gifts table all ride with the wedding party. The party bus and stretch vehicles are built for the ride and the photographs, with space for only 2 bags. Many couples combine them, with a stretch for the arrival and a Sprinter doing the practical work. All vehicles are four model years old or newer. See the fleet page.
Realistic budgets for a London wedding day
The hourly rates and packages make most London budgets straightforward:
| London, Ontario booking | Executive Sprinter | First Class Sedan | Business SUV / Van |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3-hour minimum (arithmetic from the hourly rate) | US$660 | US$540 | US$420 |
| 5 hours (arithmetic) | US$1,100 | US$900 | US$700 |
| Evening out and event night package | US$1,100 | US$900 | US$700 |
| Full-day chauffeur | US$1,620 | US$1,325 | US$1,035 |
Every price is per vehicle, never per person, and includes the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the booked time are billed at cost. As arithmetic for comparison only, a five-hour Sprinter at US$1,100 shared by a wedding party of ten is US$110 each; the fare itself does not change with the head count. Party buses, stretch limousines and stretch SUV limousines depend heavily on the date, especially summer Saturdays and prom weeks, so the web booker prices them exactly.
A typical London day for the wedding party runs about five hours: collection at 1 p.m., ceremony at 2 p.m., photographs until about 5 p.m., and arrival at the reception at 5:30 p.m. If the vehicle must also take the party home at midnight, compare two separate bookings with the full-day chauffeur rate.
Scheduling guest shuttles without leaving anyone waiting
Guest shuttles are where most wedding transport goes wrong, because they depend on timing rather than seats alone.
Step 1: count riders. Survey guests or ask your planner how many will actually ride. Guests with their own cars rarely use the shuttle.
Step 2: time the drive. A ceremony downtown and a reception at a hall or rural venue in Middlesex County can be anything from 15 to 45 minutes apart. Add 10 minutes to load and 10 to unload.
Step 3: choose one run or two. For 36 riders, three Sprinters can move everyone in one run, or one Sprinter can make three runs. One run costs more and gets everyone to the cocktail hour together. Multiple runs cost less but the last group arrives up to an hour later. On a 30-minute route, a single vehicle making three runs needs about three hours from the first departure to the last arrival.
Step 4: plan the late loop. At the end of the night guests leave in waves. One Sprinter running a loop from the reception to the main hotels at set times, such as 10:30 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., works better than several vehicles leaving at midnight.
Our group transportation and wedding limousine pages describe how we schedule shuttles in every city.
One wedding, costed two ways
Take a wedding party of ten, a ceremony at 2 p.m. at a downtown London church, photographs in two locations and a reception at a rural hall 30 minutes outside the city, with 24 guests who want a shuttle.
Option A: one bus does everything. A single Executive Sprinter collects the wedding party at 1 p.m., drops them at the church, then shuttles guests to the reception in two runs while the party is at the photographs, and finally collects the party. On paper it saves a vehicle. In practice the photographer waits for the bus, the second guest run arrives late, and the day runs over. Overtime is billed at the hourly rate.
Option B: one vehicle per job. Sprinter one carries the wedding party for about five hours, which is US$1,100 as arithmetic at US$220 an hour. Sprinter two moves the 24 guests in two runs of 12 between the church and the hall, about two hours from first departure to last arrival on a 30-minute route, so the 3-hour minimum at US$660 covers it with margin. The couple ride in a First Class Sedan for five hours, US$900 as arithmetic. The total, about US$2,660 for three vehicles, is predictable, and nobody waits for anyone else.
Most London couples choose a version of Option B, sometimes replacing the couple's sedan with a stretch limousine priced in the booker. If budget is tight, the saving is usually in the guest shuttle, not the wedding party vehicle.
Older guests, accessibility and children
A Sprinter's wide door and grab handles are easier for grandparents than a low stretch, and the chauffeur helps everyone in and out. If a guest uses a wheelchair, tell us when booking: a folding chair travels as luggage in the Sprinter, and a guest who must stay seated in their chair needs a wheelchair-accessible vehicle; London licenses accessible cabs as their own class, and we will tell you plainly if our vehicles are not the right fit. Child seats for flower girls and ring bearers are available on request; give each child's age and weight.
Out-of-town guests and the airports
London weddings often bring family through two airports. London International Airport (YXU) is about 11 km (7 mi) from downtown, and an Executive Sprinter at a fixed US$250 brings a group of up to 12 with luggage from the terminal; the chauffeur waits at arrivals with a name board. From Toronto Pearson, the fixed Sprinter fare is US$1,030 and a Business Sedan US$395, about 127 minutes on a clear 401. The fares are the same in both directions, so the day-after departures cost the same. Our Toronto to London, Ontario guide covers the long run, and hotel rooms for guests can be booked through our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net.
Prom and formal season
Late spring is the busiest season for 12-seat and larger vehicles in London, with high school proms and university formals clustered on a handful of weekends. Book as soon as the date is set. For prom groups, our prom limousine service adds a named contact for parents, a confirmed pickup list and a set finish time. The chauffeur follows Ontario rules, which means no alcohol in the vehicle, and every passenger needs a belted seat.
Dates that compete for vehicles
Some London dates are busy for reasons that have nothing to do with weddings. Sunfest fills Victoria Park from 8 to 11 July 2027, with five outdoor stages, and downtown streets around the park are busy all four days. The 2026-2027 Broadway in London series at Canada Life Place runs from 5 November 2026 to 25 May 2027, and London Knights home games bring crowds to Dundas Street. Conventions at RBC Place London, Southwestern Ontario's largest convention centre, add hotel and vehicle demand. If your wedding falls on one of those dates, book vehicles and hotel blocks earlier than usual.
Questions to ask before you sign, with any operator
Is the bus licensed to carry paying passengers in Ontario? Under the province's Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration program, Ontario-plated buses with seating for 10 or more passengers need a CVOR certificate, and each operator's safety rating is public. Ask for the operator's CVOR details. In London, limousines are also licensed by the City, with owner plates and driver licences.
Is it commercially insured? Ours are; ask any other operator for confirmation.
How many belted seats? Not how many people it "holds".
What is included? Our price includes the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity. Ask other quotes about gratuity, fuel, cleaning and decorations.
What does overtime cost? Get the rate in writing; ceremonies run late.
What are the cancellation terms? Ours: free more than 72 hours before pickup; 10% at 72 hours or less; 50% at 48 hours or less; 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, refunded to the original card.
Can we decorate the vehicle? Ask first; ribbons are usually fine, anything that could mark paint or upholstery may not be.
A planning timeline
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| 9 to 12 months out | reserve stretch limousines, stretch SUV limousines or a party bus for a summer Saturday |
| 4 to 6 months out | book Sprinters for the wedding party and guest shuttles once both venues are confirmed |
| 6 to 8 weeks out | confirm rider counts and shuttle times; book airport runs for out-of-town guests |
| 2 weeks out | send the final timeline, addresses and photo stops to the desk |
| The day before | share the chauffeur details from the confirmation email with the planner or best man |
For proms, book as soon as the school confirms the date, and confirm the pickup list a week before.
When a limo bus is not the answer
A small wedding with six attendants may be better served by a First Class SUV and a sedan than by a bus. For a couple's night out, a single car does the job. For a bachelor or bachelorette night out of town, the planning is different; Kitchener-Waterloo groups can see our Kitchener-Waterloo party bus guide. And for local trips around town on an ordinary night, our London, Ontario limo service guide explains which car fits which trip. For celebrations in nearby cities, see the Kitchener-Waterloo and Hamilton pages, and party bus rental for how we handle party buses everywhere.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a limo bus rental in London, Ontario?
An Executive Sprinter for 12 is US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, so US$660 for three hours, or US$1,620 for a full day. Party buses and stretch SUV limousines are priced for your date in the web booker. All prices are per vehicle and include gratuity.
How many people fit in a limo bus?
On our fleet list, a party bus and an Executive Sprinter each seat 12, a stretch limousine 8 and a stretch SUV limousine 16. Every passenger needs a belted seat, so larger groups book a second vehicle.
How do we plan guest shuttles between the ceremony and reception?
Count riders, divide by 12 for Sprinters and round up for a single run, or plan repeat runs if the schedule allows. Add 10 minutes to load and unload each way, and plan a late loop back to the hotels.
How far ahead should we book for a summer wedding?
Reserve stretch limousines and party buses 9 to 12 months ahead for a summer Saturday, and Sprinters 4 to 6 months ahead. Prom groups should book as soon as the date is set.
Can guests drink on the limo bus?
No. The chauffeur follows Ontario rules, so there is no alcohol in the vehicle. Plan the toast at the reception.
Can the same booking include airport runs for guests?
Yes. Fixed fares from YXU start at US$95 in a sedan and US$250 in a Sprinter, and from Pearson at US$395 and US$1,030, with tracked flights and a name board in arrivals.
