Limo services in London, Ontario cover more than proms and weddings. Most of what our desk books here is practical: London International Airport (YXU) runs, the long Toronto Pearson transfer, Western University and hospital visits, conventions at RBC Place and nights out around Canada Life Place. Through Elly8.net, fixed fares start at US$95 in a Business Sedan from YXU to downtown and US$395 from Pearson, all-in and per vehicle, and the hourly rate starts at US$110 with a 3-hour minimum.
This guide is the local know-how behind those prices: which part of the city you are being collected from and why it matters, the times of day and year when the roads and the ride queues get difficult, the routes people book most, and a plain table of which vehicle fits which trip. It ends with the three-step booking and a short FAQ.
What should you know before booking a limo in London, Ontario?
Decide the job first: airport run, hourly business day, event night or wedding. Then match the vehicle to passengers and bags, not to the word limo. Sedans take 3 people and 2 bags, SUVs 6 and 6, the Executive Sprinter 12 and 12. Fixed fares start at US$95 from YXU and include taxes and gratuity.
Rides in London, Ontario are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. The City of London licenses limousines separately from taxis and app-based rides under its vehicle-for-hire by-law, with owner plates and driver licences for each class. Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer, seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley.

Which vehicle fits which London trip
| Trip | Usual vehicle | Seats / bags | Fixed fare or rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| YXU to downtown, one or two travellers | Business Sedan | 3 / 2 | US$95 |
| YXU to downtown, family back from a sun trip | Business SUV / Van | 6 / 6 | US$125 |
| Pearson to downtown London, business traveller | Business Sedan or First Class Sedan | 3 / 2 | US$395 or US$695 |
| Pearson to London, family or small team | Business SUV / Van | 6 / 6 | US$515 |
| Team, choir or wedding party from YXU | Executive Sprinter | 12 / 12 | US$250 |
| Campus, hospital and downtown meetings | Business Sedan by the hour | 3 / 2 | US$110/h, 3-hour minimum |
| Knights game, Broadway night or dinner | SUV or Sprinter, evening package | 6 or 12 | from US$700 SUV, US$1,100 Sprinter |
| Wedding couple | First Class Sedan, Rolls-Royce or stretch | 3, 2 or 8 | US$180/h, or priced in the booker |
Every price is per vehicle, never per person, and includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. The YXU and Pearson fares are the same fixed price in either direction, so the trip back to the airport costs what the arrival did.
The word "limo" on a search usually means "a good car with a professional driver", and for most London trips that is a sedan or an SUV, not a stretch. Stretch limousines, stretch SUV limousines and party buses are available for celebrations and are priced to your date in the web booker. If you are not sure which class you need, our explainer on black car vs limousine covers the difference.
Where you are collected from: London by neighbourhood
London is spread out, and the pickup point changes the timing more than visitors expect.
Downtown. The core around Dundas, Richmond, King and York streets holds RBC Place, Canada Life Place, the main hotels, the courthouse and the VIA station. Pickups here are quick off-peak and slow on event nights, when we set the meeting point a short walk from the arena or convention centre rather than at the door.
Richmond Row. North of downtown toward the university, this is the restaurant and nightlife strip. On Friday and Saturday nights, a set pickup time at a side street saves circling.
Western University and north London. Western University and the Ivey Business School are north of downtown, with the Masonville area beyond. Campus buildings have their own drop-off points; give us the building name, not just the university.
Old East Village and the east end. East of downtown along Dundas, toward the Western Fair District, with the market and a growing food scene.
South and west London. Hotels near Highway 401 and Wonderland Road suit an early Pearson run, because the car is on the 401 within minutes. A north-end pickup for the same flight needs an earlier start.
The hospitals. For London Health Sciences Centre and the city's other hospitals, tell us the exact hospital site and entrance. We book comfortable cars for ambulatory patients, families and visiting clinicians; we are not a medical or ambulance service.
The routes London books most
YXU to the city. The airport at 10 Seabrook Way is about 11 km (7 mi) from downtown, around 16 minutes on a clear road. Your chauffeur waits at arrivals with a name board and the flight is tracked. YXU has Porter, Air Canada, WestJet, Sunwing and Air Transat flights, including sun routes that land late with heavy luggage.
Pearson to London. About 171 km (106 mi) and 127 minutes on a clear road, almost all on Highway 401; weekday traffic and winter weather can make it closer to three hours. The fixed fare from US$395 does not move with the traffic. Our Toronto to London, Ontario guide compares the car with the train and driving.
Downtown to RBC Place. RBC Place London, at 300 York Street, describes itself as Southwestern Ontario's largest convention centre. For delegates, the usual pattern is airport arrival, hotel, hall and back; VIPs book an hourly car. See conference transportation.
Event nights downtown. Canada Life Place, at 99 Dundas Street, is home to London Knights hockey and the 2026-2027 Broadway in London series, which runs from 5 November 2026 to 25 May 2027. Plan the pickup a block away and agree a time.
London to Stratford. The Stratford Festival is about 60 km away, the classic chauffeured evening: no parking hunt before curtain, no night drive home. An hourly booking or the evening package covers the round trip.
London to Kitchener-Waterloo and Detroit. The 401 links London with Kitchener-Waterloo to the east and the border crossing to Detroit to the west, for DTW flights. Bring the travel documents you need for the border. One-way runs are priced through the city to city car service.
When London gets busy
Term start and convocation. Western and Fanshawe College move-in weeks fill the streets around both campuses with families and loaded cars. Book YXU and Pearson runs early for those weeks.
Knights games and Broadway nights. A full arena empties onto Dundas Street at once. The taxi queue and app prices both rise in the half-hour after the event.
Sunfest. Sunfest transforms Victoria Park into a free festival of world music, with five outdoor stages and more than 225 food and craft exhibitors; the 2027 edition runs from 8 to 11 July. Downtown streets near the park are busy all four days.
Winter. A heavy snowfall slows the city streets and the 401 alike. On those days we bring departure pickups forward, and the fixed fare stays the same.
Graduation season. Proms and formals in late spring are the busiest period for stretch limousines and Sprinters. See prom limousines and our London, Ontario limo bus guide for group sizes.
Timing a London trip: three rules of thumb
Give the 401 the respect it needs. For a Pearson departure from London, we start from the clear-road 127 minutes, add 30 to 60 minutes on weekday afternoons or in snow, then add your airline's check-in time. For an evening international flight, that often means leaving London around midday. A south-end hotel near the 401 saves a little; a north-end pickup near campus costs a little.
Event nights shift the city's rush hour. On a Knights game or Broadway night, the hour before the doors open and the half-hour after the final whistle or curtain are the slow times downtown. A dinner booking before the show, with the car holding nearby, avoids both.
Short hops are fast. YXU to downtown is about 16 minutes on a clear road, and most cross-city trips are short. A 3-hour hourly booking is generous for a single dinner; it is the right length for a dinner and a show, or two meetings and a campus visit.
Questions to ask any London limo company
Whoever you book with, five questions sort out most problems before the day:
Is the vehicle licensed and commercially insured? In London, limousines carry City owner plates and their drivers hold City licences. Our partners are licensed and commercially insured.
Is the price all-in? Ours includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Ask other quotes whether gratuity, fuel or an airport fee is added afterwards.
How old is the vehicle? Our partner vehicles are four model years old or newer, seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley.
What happens if my flight is late? We track it and wait, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing.
What are the cancellation terms? Ours are fixed: free more than 72 hours before pickup, then 10%, 50% and 100% at 72, 48 and 24 hours or less.
Business travel in London
London's business visitors are mostly academic, medical and convention traffic. A visiting professor flying into YXU, teaching at Ivey and dining downtown fits an hourly chauffeur from US$110 an hour. A day of site visits across the city and back to Pearson fits the corporate roadshow day, from US$990 in a sedan. Departments and companies with regular visitors open a corporate account for monthly invoicing and saved traveller profiles; see corporate car service. NDAs are available on request.
Weddings and celebrations
London weddings often move from a downtown church to photographs and a reception at a hall or a rural venue in Middlesex County. The couple's car is usually a First Class Sedan at US$180 an hour, or a Rolls-Royce or stretch priced in the booker; the wedding party rides in an Executive Sprinter at US$220 an hour. See wedding limousine service. The chauffeur follows Ontario rules, so there is no alcohol in the vehicle.
Anniversaries, milestone birthdays and a first night out after a long week follow the same logic on a smaller scale. A First Class Sedan for a couple's dinner downtown, or a Business SUV for six friends going to a show, booked as the evening out package, means nobody drives and nobody waits in the after-show queue on Dundas Street. Out-of-town family arriving at YXU for the occasion can be added to the same booking.
When a limo is not the answer
For a short solo trip across the city, a taxi or an app ride costs less, and for a single traveller with a carry-on, London Transit serves YXU 14 times a day according to the airport. We set out the numbers in our London, Ontario taxi vs Uber vs private car guide. A booked car earns its fare on late flights, with children who need seats, with heavy luggage, for groups, and on the long Pearson run.
How booking works
