A Phoenix Sprinter van rental with a chauffeur puts up to twelve passengers and about twelve large bags in one executive van, with one driver who knows the Valley and one fixed price. It suits golf groups, wedding parties, spring training trips, conference teams and families landing together at Sky Harbor, and it removes the job of coordinating three or four separate cars across a metro area that stretches from Glendale to Mesa.

With Elly8.net, the Executive Sprinter costs US$300 one way between Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) and downtown Phoenix, US$570 for the round trip, and US$190 an hour as directed, with a 3-hour minimum. Packages run from US$760 for a 4-hour city highlights tour to US$1,750 for the 10-hour Sedona day trip. Every price is per vehicle, fixed and all-in.

What does a Sprinter van with driver cost in Phoenix?

An Elly8.net Executive Sprinter in Phoenix costs US$300 between Sky Harbor and downtown, US$570 round trip, and US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum. A 5-hour event night is US$950, a full 8-hour day US$1,400 and the 10-hour Sedona day trip US$1,750. Prices include chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity.

Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. Divided by a full van of twelve, the airport run works out at US$25 a person and the full day at under US$117 a person, which is the main reason groups choose it.

One point of language: when people search for "Sprinter van rental", some want a van they drive themselves. Elly8.net does not rent vehicles without a driver. Every Sprinter comes with a licensed, commercially insured chauffeur, which also means nobody in the group has to stay sober, navigate or find stadium parking. Our chauffeur vs car rental comparison sets out the trade-off honestly.

Sprinter or two SUVs? The arithmetic

The Sprinter is not always the answer. For a group of seven to twelve it usually is; for four to six, an SUV is simpler. Here is the comparison on the published Phoenix prices.

TripExecutive Sprinter (up to 12)Two Business SUVs (up to 12)One Business SUV (up to 6)
PHX to downtown Phoenix, one wayUS$300US$300US$150
PHX round tripUS$570US$570US$285
By the hour, per hour (3-hour minimum)US$190US$240US$120
5-hour evening out and event nightUS$950US$1,200US$600
8-hour full-day chauffeurUS$1,400US$1,770US$885
10-hour Sedona day tripUS$1,750US$2,210US$1,105

On a straight airport run, one Sprinter and two SUVs cost the same, so the choice is about whether the group wants to travel together. On anything by the hour, the Sprinter wins clearly: one vehicle waits instead of two, and nobody gets separated at a stadium exit. Two SUVs make sense only when the group genuinely splits, for example half to a golf course and half to a spa.

The routes Sprinter groups actually drive

Phoenix is spread out, and Sprinter bookings tend to follow a handful of routes. These are clear-road distances and times from Sky Harbor; peak traffic adds to all of them.

  • Sky Harbor to downtown Phoenix: about 5 miles (8 km), around 11 minutes. Convention groups and arena nights.
  • Sky Harbor to Tempe and the ASU campus: about 7 miles (11 km), around 14 minutes. University visits and office parks.
  • Sky Harbor to Old Town Scottsdale: about 10 miles (16 km), around 19 minutes. The Scottsdale car service page lists this route from US$365 in a Sprinter.
  • Sky Harbor to downtown Mesa: about 14 miles (23 km), around 24 minutes.
  • Sky Harbor to downtown Chandler: about 20 miles (32 km), around 31 minutes. Corporate campuses in the south-east Valley.
  • Sky Harbor to State Farm Stadium, Glendale: about 22 miles (35 km), around 30 minutes on a clear road, far longer after a game or concert.
  • Sky Harbor to Phoenix Raceway, Avondale: about 26 miles (42 km), around 41 minutes, west on I-10.

Anything beyond the downtown fare is quoted by the web booker as soon as you enter the address, and the quote is fixed when you reserve. For a day that links several of these, book the van by the hour and let the chauffeur plan the order.

Golf groups and the resort corridor

Golf is the classic Phoenix Sprinter booking. A foursome with clubs fills an SUV; two or three foursomes with clubs, shoes bags and luggage fill a Sprinter. The van carries about twelve large bags, so give us the real count, including golf travel bags, which take more room than a suitcase.

Most golf groups land at PHX, base themselves in Scottsdale or the resorts around Camelback and Paradise Valley, and play different courses on different days. The efficient booking is an airport transfer on arrival, the van by the hour or a full day for each golf day, and a transfer back to the airport. The hourly chauffeur rate covers waiting at the course while you play, with the clubs locked in the van.

The WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale runs February 8 to 14, 2027, and it is the busiest golf week of the year in the Valley. Roads around the course are heavily managed, so book early and agree the drop-off point with the desk before the day.

Spring training: ten ballparks, one van

Cactus League spring training puts 15 Major League teams in 10 ballparks across the Valley, and the 2027 season opens on Friday, February 19. The ballparks are spread from Surprise and Goodyear in the west to Mesa and Scottsdale in the east, so a group trying to catch games in different parks spends real time on the freeways.

A Sprinter by the hour keeps a group together for a doubleheader day or a game plus dinner. Spring training also overlaps with other big February dates in 2027, including NBA All-Star weekend downtown, so hotels and cars across the Valley get busy. Book well ahead, and see our sports event transportation page for how game days are planned.

Stadium nights, concerts and race day

Big events are where a Sprinter earns its keep. After a Cardinals game or a stadium concert at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, rideshare zones and parking lots take a long time to clear, and a group of ten trying to find three app rides at once usually ends up scattered. One van with an agreed pickup point solves it.

The 5-hour evening out and event night package, US$950 in an Executive Sprinter, covers the drive out, the wait and the ride back. Downtown arena nights at Mortgage Matchup Center and Chase Field are closer but involve street closures, so the drop-off and pickup points matter more than the drive. NASCAR's spring race at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale is in March and draws race-day backups on I-10. For concerts specifically, see concert transportation.

Weddings, bachelor and bachelorette weekends

Wedding guest shuttles are a natural Sprinter job: a loop from two or three hotels to the ceremony, on to the reception and back at the end of the night. A single van running loops by the hour is often cheaper than a coach for a guest list of thirty to forty, as long as the timetable allows two runs. Our wedding limousine and group transportation pages explain how to plan the loops.

Bachelor and bachelorette weekends usually centre on Old Town Scottsdale and the resorts. The chauffeur follows Arizona's local rules on conduct and alcohol in the vehicle, so plan the night around the venues rather than the van. For bigger parties wanting a party bus, see party bus rental, quoted in the web booker.

Conference teams and corporate groups

Downtown's Phoenix Convention Center and the resort conference hotels bring teams that need to move together: a sales team between the hotel, the show floor and a client dinner, or an executive group visiting several sites in a day. A Sprinter by the hour, or the 10-hour corporate roadshow day at US$1,710, puts the whole team in one vehicle with one schedule. Our guide to Phoenix executive car service covers accounts, invoicing and duty of care, and conference transportation explains shuttle loops.

Hotel driveways and downtown pickups

A 12-seat van does not stop just anywhere. Resort porte cocheres in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley usually have room, but some downtown hotel driveways are tight, and on convention or game nights they back up into the street. Tell us the hotel name rather than just the street address, and the chauffeur will confirm the exact pickup spot before the day. For a group spread across two hotels, list both as stops and give a realistic gap between them; ten minutes is rarely enough downtown at 6 p.m. Getting the group to the lobby on time is the single biggest thing you can do to keep an hourly booking on budget.

Arriving at Sky Harbor as a group

The chauffeur tracks the lead passenger's flight and meets the group inside the terminal at baggage claim with a name board. If the group is arriving on different flights, either book the van for the last arrival and let early arrivals wait, or book an SUV for the early group. Our post on Phoenix airport limo meet and greet walks through the pickup step by step.

Heat, luggage and the details that matter

Phoenix summers are very hot, so a few habits help. Keep water in your day bag, let the chauffeur bring the van to the curb rather than walking a group across a parking lot, and leave sunscreen and drinks where the group can reach them. For desert day trips, the 10-hour Sedona package leaves plenty of time for stops, and our guide to Phoenix to Sedona by private car covers that route in detail.

Child seats are available on request; give each child's age and weight when you book. If the group has wheelchair users or specific access needs, put that in the booking notes and the desk will confirm the right vehicle.

Who drives

Rides in Phoenix are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer. Elly8.net is a member of LimousineWorldwide.Directory and LimousineAssociation.International. Frequently asked questions

How many people fit in a Phoenix Sprinter?

The Executive Sprinter seats up to twelve passengers and carries about twelve large bags. For golf groups, count each golf travel bag as a large bag. Groups larger than twelve usually book two vehicles, or a party bus or coach quoted in the web booker.

Is a Sprinter cheaper than separate cars?

On a one-way airport run, one Sprinter at US$300 costs the same as two Business SUVs to downtown Phoenix. By the hour it is clearly cheaper: US$190 an hour against US$240 for two SUVs, and the group stays together. For four to six people, a single SUV is the better value.

Is a self-drive Sprinter available?

No. Elly8.net books chauffeured vehicles only, so every Sprinter comes with a licensed, commercially insured chauffeur. That means nobody in the group drives, navigates or parks at a stadium or a resort, and the price includes the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity. Groups that want to drive themselves should look at a rental company instead.

Is there a minimum booking time?

Hourly service has a 3-hour minimum at US$190 an hour for the Sprinter. Fixed packages are listed too: a 4-hour city highlights tour at US$760, a 5-hour event night at US$950, an 8-hour full day at US$1,400 and the 10-hour Sedona trip at US$1,750.

How far ahead should we book for spring training or the WM Phoenix Open?

As early as you can. February 2027 is crowded in the Valley, with the WM Phoenix Open from February 8 to 14 and spring training opening on February 19. Sprinters are among the first vehicles to go on those dates, and booking early locks in the fixed price.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less it is 50%, and at 24 hours or less, or for a no-show, it is 100%. Refunds go to the original card.
