A wedding limo cost is mostly a question of hours. On Elly8.net's published price lists, a chauffeured vehicle for a wedding day runs from US$95 an hour for a business sedan in cities such as Nashville and Las Vegas to US$230 an hour for an Executive Sprinter in Aspen, always with a 3-hour minimum and always per vehicle. Specialist wedding cars such as a Rolls-Royce, a Mercedes-Maybach or a stretch limousine are quoted for your date in the web booker, because their availability on a Saturday in June is the real constraint.
The total for the day is the hourly rate multiplied by the hours the vehicle is reserved, plus anything billed at cost, such as tolls and parking. The couples who get an unpleasant surprise are usually the ones who priced the ceremony and forgot the photographs, the drive to the reception, and the wait while the speeches ran long. This guide gives you the ranges, the minimums, the fees to ask about, and four wedding days worked through in real numbers.
How much does a wedding limo cost per hour?
On Elly8.net, wedding transport is booked by the hour with a 3-hour minimum, per vehicle. Published rates run from US$95 an hour for a business sedan in cities such as Nashville and Las Vegas to US$220 an hour for an Executive Sprinter in Toronto. Rolls-Royce, Maybach and stretch limousines are quoted for your date.
The rate moves with two things: the city and the vehicle class. Here is how the published hourly rates compare in four cities couples often ask about.
| Vehicle (seats, bags) | Nashville | Las Vegas | New York City | Toronto |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business Sedan (3, 2) | US$95 / hr | US$95 / hr | US$105 / hr | US$110 / hr |
| Business SUV or Van (6, 6) | US$120 / hr | US$120 / hr | US$135 / hr | US$140 / hr |
| First Class SUV (6, 6) | US$145 / hr | US$145 / hr | US$160 / hr | US$165 / hr |
| First Class Sedan (3, 2) | US$155 / hr | US$155 / hr | US$170 / hr | US$180 / hr |
| Executive Sprinter (12, 12) | US$190 / hr | US$190 / hr | US$210 / hr | US$220 / hr |
| Rolls-Royce, Maybach, stretch limousine, party bus | quoted for the date | quoted for the date | quoted for the date | quoted for the date |
Every rate includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes and standard gratuity. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the booked time are billed at cost. The city pages carry the full panels: Nashville, Las Vegas, New York City and Toronto.

Why there is a minimum, and why it is three hours
A chauffeur on a wedding day is committed to your schedule, not to a single drive. The vehicle leaves its base before your pickup, waits through the ceremony, and cannot be sent to another job between photographs. A 3-hour minimum reflects that reality. For a short courthouse wedding or a single drive from the ceremony to the reception, three hours is often enough. For a full wedding day, it rarely is.
Packages help when the day fits their shape. On the price lists, the "evening out and event night" package is five hours with the car waiting at the door, and the full-day chauffeur is eight hours at 8% below the hourly rate. In Toronto, for example, the five-hour package is US$550 in a business sedan and US$1,100 in an Executive Sprinter, and the full day is US$810 in a sedan and US$1,620 in a Sprinter. The packages page lists every city.
The vehicles, and which job each one does
Most weddings need more than one vehicle, and the right mix saves money.
- Rolls-Royce or Mercedes-Maybach (2 passengers). The couple's car, for the arrival photographs and the exit. Partner vehicles in these classes are seven model years old or newer; all other classes are four model years or newer.
- Stretch limousine (up to 8) or stretch SUV limousine (up to 16). A celebration vehicle for the wedding party. Luggage space is small, which rarely matters on the day itself.
- Executive Sprinter (up to 12 with 12 bags). The workhorse: bridesmaids and groomsmen, or family members moving between hotel, ceremony and reception. Comfortable, high-roofed and easy to board in formal wear.
- First Class SUV or Business SUV (up to 6). Parents, grandparents and anyone who needs an easy step-in and space for a walker or a garment bag.
- Business Sedan (up to 3). The officiant, a photographer, or a late-night run to the hotel.
Our black car vs limousine guide explains the trade-offs, and the fleet page shows each vehicle with its seats and bag space.
Four wedding days, worked through
These examples use only published Elly8.net rates. Specialist cars are left out of the totals because they are quoted for the date.
A Las Vegas courthouse wedding. The Clark County Marriage License Bureau at 201 E. Clark Avenue is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to midnight, including holidays, according to the Clark County Clerk's office. A couple collects the licence, marries, and has dinner on the Strip. A First Class Sedan for the 3-hour minimum is 3 x US$155 = US$465. Add a Business SUV for four family members for the same three hours at US$120 an hour, and the day is US$825 for two vehicles.
A New York City Hall ceremony. The Office of the City Clerk asks couples to book ceremony and licence appointments in advance and not to arrive without a confirmed appointment, as it explains on its marriage bureau page. An appointment time is exactly the kind of fixed point a reserved car protects. A First Class Sedan for four hours, covering the hotel pickup, the ceremony, photographs and a lunch reservation, is 4 x US$170 = US$680.
A Nashville church wedding with a downtown reception. The bridal party of ten rides in an Executive Sprinter from the hotel to the church and on to the reception: six hours at US$190 is US$1,140. Parents ride in a First Class SUV for the same six hours at US$145, which is US$870. Two vehicles, US$2,010 for the published part of the day, before the couple's car.
A Toronto wedding on the Elly8 fleet. Toronto and the GTA run on the Elly8 fleet and chauffeurs. In Ontario, couples need a valid marriage licence from their municipality and an authorised officiant, as the Ontario government's marriage page sets out. On the day, an Executive Sprinter books the full-day package of eight hours at US$1,620 for the wedding party, and a Business SUV covers the family for five hours on the evening package at US$700. The published total is US$2,320.
The fees couples miss
Most quotes, from any operator, look similar on the headline rate. The differences hide in five places. Ask about each one.
1. Overtime. If the reception runs an hour late, the vehicle is still yours and the hour is billable. Build a buffer of 30 to 60 minutes into the booking rather than relying on overtime.
2. Gratuity. Some quotes add a gratuity percentage at checkout; some leave it to you on the night. Elly8.net includes standard gratuity in every price, so there is no second line. Our tipping guide for chauffeured rides explains when an extra tip makes sense.
3. Tolls and parking. A country club with paid valet, a downtown hotel garage or a toll highway between ceremony and reception add real money. These are billed at cost, so tell the desk about them when you book.
4. Garage-to-garage time. Some operators start the clock when the vehicle leaves its base. Ask every operator whether the quoted hours start at your first pickup or earlier, and get the answer in writing.
5. Extra stops and route changes. A stop at a second hotel or a photograph location across town is normally fine on an hourly booking, but it uses time. Plan the route before the day so the hours are realistic.
There is also the question of drinks. Laws on alcohol in vehicles differ by city and province, and the chauffeur follows local rules. Plan any toast for the venue, not the car.
How many hours to book
Count backwards from the last drop-off and add a buffer.
- Hotel pickup to ceremony start: allow for loading dresses and flowers, often 20 to 30 minutes before the drive itself.
- Ceremony length plus receiving line.
- Photographs at a second location, including the drive there.
- Drive to the reception and arrival photographs.
- If the vehicle is also taking guests home, the hours until the last dance, or a separate later booking.
Many couples split the day: the wedding party vehicle for the first five to six hours, and a second shorter booking for the late-night return. That avoids paying for hours of waiting during dinner. Our group transportation team plans guest shuttles between hotels and the venue, and the party bus rental page covers after-party options.
The rehearsal dinner, the after-party and the morning after
The wedding day is not the only day that needs a car. Three other bookings come up again and again, and each has its own sensible shape.
The rehearsal dinner. Usually two to three hours of driving and waiting, so the 3-hour minimum fits naturally. A Business SUV for the families or an Executive Sprinter for the whole wedding party keeps everyone together and on time for the venue's seating.
The after-party. If the celebration moves on after the reception, a second booking that starts when the first one ends is often cheaper than keeping the wedding-party vehicle waiting through dinner. Five hours on the evening package suits a late start.
The morning after. Couples leaving for a honeymoon need an airport transfer, which is a fixed price rather than an hourly booking. Guests checking out of the same hotel can share an Executive Sprinter to the airport; the fare is per vehicle, so ten guests in one Sprinter cost far less than ten separate rides.
Guests arriving by air
Destination weddings add airport runs. Fixed airport transfers are the same price in either direction, so a guest's arrival and departure can be booked together. A Business SUV from Harry Reid International to the Las Vegas Strip is US$165 each way, and an Executive Sprinter from Toronto Pearson to downtown is US$405 for up to 12 guests. Our guide to airport limo cost explains what those airport prices include.
Booking checklist
- Confirm the date with the venue and the officiant first; transport follows.
- Decide the vehicle mix: couple, wedding party, family, guests.
- Count the hours for each vehicle, with a buffer, against the 3-hour minimum.
- Ask every quote: is gratuity included, when does the clock start, how are tolls and parking billed, what is overtime?
- Read the cancellation terms: more than 72 hours before pickup is free; 72 hours or less 10%; 48 hours or less 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show 100%, refunded to the original card where a refund applies. The full text is on the cancellation policy page.
- Reserve the specialist car early. Rolls-Royce and stretch limousine availability on peak Saturdays is limited.
The wedding limousine service page explains how the desk coordinates the day, and how much does a limo cost compares limo pricing more broadly. Rides outside Toronto and the GTA are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Frequently asked questions
How much does a wedding limo cost for 3 hours?
Three hours is the minimum on Elly8.net hourly bookings. In Nashville or Las Vegas, a business sedan for three hours is US$285 and an Executive Sprinter is US$570. In New York City a First Class Sedan for three hours is US$510. Rolls-Royce, Maybach and stretch limousines are quoted for your date in the booker.
Is the wedding limo price per person?
No. Every Elly8.net price is per vehicle. Dividing by the number of guests is useful arithmetic for comparison only: an Executive Sprinter at US$190 an hour for six hours is US$1,140, or US$114 each for ten people, but the booking is for the vehicle.
Is the tip included in the wedding limo price?
Yes. Elly8.net prices include standard gratuity, along with the chauffeur, the vehicle and taxes. You may add an extra tip for exceptional service, but it is not expected. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the booked hours are billed at cost.
How far ahead should we book wedding transport?
As soon as the venue and date are confirmed. Specialist cars such as a Rolls-Royce or a stretch limousine are limited on peak Saturdays. Booking early also gives you the free cancellation window: more than 72 hours before pickup, cancellation costs nothing.
What happens if the reception runs late?
The vehicle stays with you, and the extra time is billed beyond the booked hours. The simplest way to avoid surprises is to book a buffer of 30 to 60 minutes, or to make a separate later booking for the late-night return to the hotel.
Can we drink champagne in the limo?
Alcohol rules in vehicles differ by city, state and province, and the chauffeur follows local law. Plan the toast at the venue. The desk can tell you what applies where your wedding takes place.
