An airport limo cost, on Elly8.net, is a fixed price per vehicle for one airport and one destination, set before you fly. Across the airports on the price lists, a business sedan runs from US$125 for a short hop such as Reagan National to downtown Washington, DC, to US$255 for a longer run such as Dulles, and an Executive Sprinter for up to 12 passengers runs from US$325 to US$665 on the same routes. The fare is the same in either direction, to or from the airport.
The word "limo" covers several vehicles. Most airport bookings are a business or first class sedan, an SUV or a Sprinter, because they carry luggage. A stretch limousine seats more people but has little room for bags, which is why it is quoted for the date in the booker rather than on the airport price list. This guide breaks the fixed fare into its parts, shows what changes it, and lists the nine checks that stop an airport ride from costing more than you expected.
How much does an airport limo cost?
On Elly8.net, a fixed airport transfer costs from US$125 in a business sedan at close-in airports such as DCA, Las Vegas and Rome Ciampino, to around US$200 to US$255 at longer runs such as DFW and Dulles. SUVs, first class sedans and Executive Sprinters cost more. Prices are per vehicle, all-in, and the same in either direction.
All-in means the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. That last sentence is where every surprise lives, so most of this guide is about it.

What the fixed airport price includes
The vehicle and the chauffeur. A licensed, commercially insured vehicle, four model years old or newer (seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley), with a professional chauffeur. Toronto and the GTA run on the Elly8 fleet and chauffeurs; elsewhere, rides are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network, with Elly8.net taking the booking, fixing the price and running the 24/7 desk.
Flight tracking. The chauffeur adjusts to your real landing time, early or late.
Meet and greet. The chauffeur waits inside arrivals with a name board and walks you to the car. At O'Hare, for example, the Chicago Department of Aviation describes pre-arranged limousine drivers meeting passengers in baggage claim and walking them to designated livery parking across from the terminal, typically a 5 to 7 minute walk, on its O'Hare taxi and limousine page. At Philadelphia, pre-arranged sedans and limousines use Zone 6 on the commercial roadway, according to PHL's ground transportation page.
Complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. You are not charged because the flight was delayed or the bags were slow.
Taxes and standard gratuity. There is no tip line to add at the end. Our tipping guide explains when an extra thank-you makes sense.
The meet and greet and airport transfers pages describe the arrival in more detail.

What moves the price
Distance and the clock. Longer runs cost more, but not in a straight line. Heathrow is closer to Mayfair than JFK is to Midtown, yet the JFK fare is higher, because time on the road and the city's operating costs matter as much as miles.
A floor for short trips. DCA is only about 4 miles (6 km) from downtown, but a chauffeured transfer still involves a vehicle positioned at the airport, a chauffeur waiting inside, and a tracked flight. That is why the shortest routes start at US$125, and why, for one person with a carry-on on a short hop, a taxi or the train is often the better buy. We say so plainly in our guide to airport taxi cost.
The vehicle class. An SUV costs roughly a third more than a business sedan on the same route; an Executive Sprinter, which carries 12 passengers with 12 bags, costs a little over two and a half times the sedan fare. Per seat, the Sprinter is often the cheapest way to move a group. The fleet page shows seats and bag space for each class.
The city. Operating costs differ between Las Vegas and London, and so does the time a vehicle spends positioned at a busy airport before your landing. The price lists reflect both, which is why the same distance can carry a different fare in two cities.
Nine checks that prevent surprises
These are the questions to ask of any airport quote, including ours.
1. Is gratuity included? On Elly8.net, yes. On some quotes it is added at checkout or left to you.
2. How are tolls billed? At cost on Elly8.net. A route over a tolled bridge or a toll highway adds the actual toll, nothing more.
3. Is airport parking billed? Pre-arranged chauffeurs who meet you inside usually park in a designated lot or garage while they wait. That parking is billed at cost.
4. What about airport road charges? Some airports charge vehicles to use the terminal drop-off zones. At Heathrow, London taxis add up to £6 for dropping off in a terminal drop-off zone to cover Heathrow's Terminal Drop-Off Charge, according to Transport for London. Treat a charge like that as you would a toll.
5. How long is waiting included? Waiting after a tracked landing is complimentary; waiting beyond the included time is billed at cost. If you know you will stop at a lounge or a duty-free desk on the way out, say so when you book.
6. Has the flight moved to another day? Update the booking as soon as you know. The cancellation terms apply to the original pickup: free more than 72 hours before, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, 100% at 24 hours or less or a no-show.
7. Does the luggage fit the vehicle? A sedan takes two bags. Four people with four large cases need an SUV, and a ski group may need a Sprinter. Choosing the right class at booking avoids a second car at the curb.
8. Are there extra stops? A stop to collect a colleague or drop a bag at an office uses time and may change the route. Add it to the booking rather than asking on the day.
9. Do you need child seats? They are available on request. Give ages and weights when you book so the right seats are fitted before pickup.
Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and private aviation
A stretch limousine or a Rolls-Royce is a celebration vehicle more than an airport vehicle, with little luggage space. They are quoted for your date in the booker. Our black car vs limousine guide explains the choice, and how much does a limo cost covers hourly limousine pricing.
Private aviation terminals have their own prices on the city pages. In New York, for example, Teterboro to Midtown is US$170 in a business sedan and US$445 in an Executive Sprinter. The private jet FBO transfers page explains how the meeting point depends on each FBO's own security rules.
Two arrivals, priced in full
A family of five into Miami. Two adults, three children, five large cases and two car seats requested in advance. A sedan is out; a Business SUV seats six with six bags. MIA to Miami Beach is US$235, fixed. Add any tolls at cost. The chauffeur meets the family inside arrivals, the seats are already fitted, and the price does not change if immigration takes an hour. The return to MIA at the end of the week is the same US$235.
A partner landing at Heathrow for a Mayfair meeting. One traveller, one case, a meeting at 11 a.m. A business sedan from Heathrow to Mayfair is US$195; a First Class Sedan is US$345. The flight is tracked, so an early landing does not leave the traveller standing outside, and a late one does not cost extra. If a single traveller with a carry-on and no meeting asked us, we would point to the train as well; the London page compares the options.
International arrivals
International arrivals add an unknown: the time between touchdown and the arrivals hall, which depends on immigration queues and baggage. That is exactly what flight tracking and complimentary waiting after a tracked landing are for. The chauffeur waits inside arrivals beyond customs with the name board, and you do not pay for the time the queue took. Switch your phone on after landing so the desk can reach you if the arrivals hall has more than one exit.
Groups: arithmetic only
Elly8.net prices are per vehicle, never per person. Dividing a fare by the riders is arithmetic for comparison only. A US$560 Executive Sprinter from O'Hare to the Loop, shared by 12 people, is about US$47 each; the same 12 people in three separate app rides would be three quotes, three waits and three arrival times. A US$335 Business SUV from Dulles to downtown DC, shared by four colleagues, is about US$84 each, with one receipt for a corporate account.
Is a limo worth it versus a taxi or app?
Sometimes not. For one traveller with a carry-on at an ordinary hour, a regulated taxi, a flat fare or the airport train is usually cheaper, and we would not try to talk you out of it. A fixed airport limo price is worth it when the flight lands late, when you have children who need seats, when four people and six bags need one vehicle, when a client is arriving, or when a fixed number matters more than the lowest possible number. Our guide to how much an Uber to the airport costs covers the app side of the departure decision.

Frequently asked questions
How much is an airport limo?
On Elly8.net, a fixed airport transfer in a business sedan starts at US$125 at close-in airports such as Reagan National and Harry Reid, and reaches US$255 for longer runs such as Dulles. Executive Sprinters for up to 12 run from US$325 to US$665 on the same routes. Prices are per vehicle, all-in, and the same either way.
What is included in an airport limo price?
The chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity, flight tracking, meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board, and complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
Do you pay extra if the flight is delayed?
No. Airport pickups are flight-tracked and the chauffeur adjusts to the real landing time, with complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. If the flight moves to another day, update the booking as soon as you know, because the cancellation terms apply to the original pickup time.
Is an airport limo priced per person?
No. Every Elly8.net price is per vehicle. Dividing by the number of passengers is arithmetic for comparison only; an Executive Sprinter for 12 is one fixed fare, whatever the headcount up to the vehicle's capacity.
Is it cheaper to book a round trip?
Round trips booked together are listed on each city page, and the price for both legs is fixed at booking. Because one-way airport fares are the same in either direction, you can also book the departure and the return separately at the same fare.
Can a stretch limousine pick me up at the airport?
Yes, on request, but stretch limousines carry only two bags, so they suit celebrations rather than luggage-heavy arrivals. They are quoted for your date in the booker. For bags, an SUV or an Executive Sprinter is the practical choice.
