A car service from Orlando airport to a Disney resort is priced to the exact resort, not to "Disney" as a whole. Walt Disney World's resort hotels are spread across a very large area southwest of International Drive, each with its own entrance road, lobby and bell desk, so the resort name you give at booking is what turns a transfer into a door-to-door ride. Elly8.net quotes your resort as a fixed, all-in price in the web booker; for scale, the published MCO to International Drive fare runs from US$155 in a Business Sedan to US$405 in an Executive Sprinter.
Our Orlando airport transfer to Disney guide covers the airport end: the meeting point, flight tracking and the drive. This post covers the resort end and the days around it: what to tell us about the resort, arriving before your room is ready, the grocery stop, moving between resorts, nights out at Disney Springs and the departure-day pickup. Rides in Orlando are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much is a car service from MCO to a Disney resort hotel?
Elly8.net prices each Disney resort as a fixed, all-in transfer in the web booker. The nearest published route, Orlando International Airport (MCO) to International Drive, costs US$155 in a Business Sedan, US$205 in a Business SUV, US$250 in a First Class SUV, US$275 in a First Class Sedan and US$405 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle.
The quote includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Tolls and parking are billed at cost, as is waiting beyond the included time. Because Disney's resorts are a longer drive than International Drive, expect the resort quote to sit above the International Drive figure; the booker shows the exact number before you pay, and that number does not move with traffic.
For a sense of the alternatives, the airport's approximate rates table lists a taxi to the Disney Resorts Area at about US$52 to US$68 on the meter and a shared shuttle van at US$23 per person one way or US$37 round trip. We compare those with a private car for families of different sizes in MCO Disney shuttle vs private car.

The resort details that make the drop-off work
Disney resort hotels are large, and several share road networks with parks, golf courses and other resorts. A chauffeur who has the full resort name goes straight to the right front entrance; one who has only "Disney" has to work it out on arrival. When you book, give us:
- The resort's full name, as it appears on your confirmation, and the building or section if the resort tells you one at check-in.
- Your arrival flight, so the chauffeur can track it from the moment it leaves.
- The number of bags, strollers and mobility devices. A scooter or wheelchair changes the vehicle choice.
- Child seats. Seats are available on request; give each child's age and weight so the right seat is fitted.
- Any stop on the way, such as a grocery store or a pharmacy, so it is priced into the transfer.
All of this goes into the web booker. The confirmation arrives by email, and the chauffeur's details follow before pickup.
Landing before your room is ready
Morning flights from the Northeast and Midwest often land long before resort check-in time. That is not a problem if you plan for it. Most resort hotels will store your bags at the bell desk until the room is ready; confirm this with your resort before you travel. The chauffeur drops you at the front entrance, the bell staff take the luggage, and you are free to eat, swim or head to a park.
There are two ways to handle the gap with a car:
- Point-to-point with a stop. Add a grocery or lunch stop to the airport transfer. It is priced as a multi-stop transfer in the web booker.
- By the hour. Book an hourly chauffeur from US$95 an hour in a Business Sedan or US$120 in a Business SUV, with a three-hour minimum. The chauffeur meets you at MCO, takes you to lunch and a store, and finishes at the resort when you are ready.
The hourly option suits families who land tired and want to set the pace. It also works for travellers who want to drop bags at the resort first and then go straight out again.
The grocery stop and other small things that matter
Families staying several nights often want water, snacks, breakfast items and sunscreen before they reach the resort. A planned stop is cheaper and easier than a separate delivery or a second trip. Tell us the type of store you prefer and the chauffeur picks one on the route. The bags stay locked in the vehicle while you shop.
Other requests that go in the booking notes:
- A pharmacy stop for a forgotten prescription.
- A request for the chauffeur to help a grandparent with a walker from the curb.
- Extra time at the airport for a family member arriving on a different flight, which is easier to handle as two reservations.
Choosing the vehicle by family size
| Family or group | Typical luggage | Vehicle | MCO to International Drive (for scale) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Couple | two cases, two carry-ons | Business Sedan or First Class Sedan | US$155 or US$275 |
| Family of four, one child seat | four cases, stroller | Business SUV / Van | US$205 |
| Family of five, two child seats | five cases, stroller | Business SUV or First Class SUV | US$205 or US$250 |
| Two families, up to 12 people | up to 12 cases | Executive Sprinter | US$405 |
Capacities on our fleet page are up to three passengers and two bags for the sedans, six and six for the SUVs, and twelve and twelve for the Executive Sprinter. Child seats reduce usable seats, and a double stroller takes the space of a large case, so round up when in doubt. Groups larger than twelve book two vehicles timed to the same door; our group transportation page explains how that works.
Vacation homes and hotels outside the Disney gates
Not every "Disney resort" booking is a Disney-owned hotel. Many families stay in vacation homes in the Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista areas, or in hotels just outside the resort boundary, and the transfer works the same way with a few extra details.
- Gated communities. Most vacation-home neighbourhoods have a gate. Put the gate code, or the instructions your host sent, in the booking notes, along with the full street address. A resort-style community name alone is not enough for a door-to-door drop.
- Key collection. If you must collect keys at a clubhouse or a lockbox first, add it as a stop so it is priced into the transfer.
- Groceries matter more. A vacation home has a kitchen and no breakfast buffet, so the grocery stop is often the most useful part of the transfer. Plan it before the home, not after, so the cold items go straight into the fridge.
- Bigger groups. Vacation homes attract multi-generation groups. Two families and grandparents in one home is a natural Executive Sprinter booking, with up to twelve passengers and twelve bags.
The airport's approximate rates table lists separate taxi estimates for the Lake Buena Vista area (about US$47 to US$55) and Kissimmee hotels (about US$45 to US$75), which shows how much the final address changes a metered fare. A fixed price quoted in the web booker removes that uncertainty, whichever side of the resort boundary you are staying on.
Moving between resorts and parks during the stay
Many trips are split: a few nights at a Disney resort and a few at Universal or on International Drive, or a move from a value resort to a deluxe one for the last nights. A resort-to-resort transfer is a point-to-point booking with the bags, quoted in the web booker. It is far easier than repacking for an app ride.
For days out, a private car is useful when the plan does not match the resort transport schedule:
- Evenings at Disney Springs. The Orlando evening out and event night package runs from US$475 in a Business Sedan to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter, with the car waiting.
- Universal day from a Disney resort. Book a morning drop-off and an evening pickup, or book by the hour. Our Orlando airport to Universal guide explains the Universal side.
- Kennedy Space Center. The eight-hour package runs from US$700 in a Business Sedan to US$1,400 in an Executive Sprinter, and the chauffeur waits during your visit at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
Departure day: timing the resort pickup
Departure mornings are where a fixed booking pays for itself. Checkout, packing the last items, a final breakfast and getting everyone to the lobby takes longer than planned with children. Set the pickup time like this:
- Check your airline's recommended airport arrival time for your flight.
- Add the drive from your resort to MCO, with a buffer for morning traffic.
- Add time to load bags and fit child seats at the resort entrance.
The chauffeur waits at the front entrance at the agreed time. If you booked a round trip when you booked the arrival, the departure is already confirmed. The published MCO and International Drive round trip runs from US$295 in a Business Sedan to US$770 in an Executive Sprinter, and a Disney resort round trip is quoted the same way.
A cruise after Disney is common too. Port Canaveral is the cruise port for most Orlando sailings, and a resort-to-ship transfer is quoted in the web booker; our Orlando to Port Canaveral guide covers the morning timing and luggage.
When a private car is not the best choice
We would rather you book what fits. If you are one or two adults with carry-on bags, landing in the afternoon, the airport's own estimates show that a taxi or a shared shuttle van will cost less, and the LYNX bus is listed at US$4 to the Disney Resorts Area on the airport's local bus page and approximate rates table. Those are sensible choices for light travellers.
A private car is the better booking when you land late, travel with children who need seats, carry a lot of luggage, want a stop on the way, or want the cost fixed before you leave home. For the general trade-offs, see chauffeur vs airport shuttle and chauffeur vs renting a car.
Cancellation is simple: more than 72 hours before pickup is free; 72 hours or less is 10%; 48 hours or less is 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100%. Refunds go to the original card. Elly8.net books the car only; for flights and resorts our travel partner is BookingWorldwide.net. Frequently asked questions
Why is my Disney resort priced separately from International Drive?
International Drive is our published reference route from MCO. Disney's resorts are spread over a large area farther southwest, so the drive differs by resort. The web booker prices your exact resort as a fixed, all-in fare before you pay, with taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet included, and that price does not change with traffic.
Will the chauffeur take us to the resort lobby?
Yes. The chauffeur drives to the resort's front entrance or bell desk, not to a parking lot. Give the full resort name at booking, and the building or section if you know it. The bell staff can then take the bags while you check in or store them until your room is ready.
Can we stop for groceries on the way from the airport?
Yes. Add the stop in the web booker and it is priced as a multi-stop transfer, or book by the hour from US$95 in a Business Sedan with a three-hour minimum. The chauffeur waits with the luggage locked in the vehicle while you shop.
How early should the departure pickup be?
Start from your airline's recommended airport arrival time, then add the drive from your resort to MCO, a buffer for morning traffic and time to load bags and child seats. The chauffeur waits at the resort entrance at the agreed time. Booking the return with the arrival secures the car for that morning.
Can you move us from a Disney resort to Universal mid-trip?
Yes. A resort-to-resort transfer is a point-to-point booking with the bags, quoted as a fixed price in the web booker. Give both hotel names, your luggage count and any child seats. It is usually simpler than an app ride with a family's luggage.
Are child seats included?
Child seats are available on request. Tell us how many children are travelling and each child's age and weight, and the seats are fitted before pickup. For a family with two seats and several suitcases, a Business SUV or First Class SUV is the usual choice.
