An Orlando airport transfer to Disney with a pre-booked chauffeur works in five steps: you send the flight number and resort name, we track the flight, the chauffeur waits inside arrivals with a name board, the bags and child seats go into a vehicle sized for them, and you are driven straight to your resort entrance. The price is fixed and all-in before you fly, so a slow interstate or a late landing does not change it.
The published reference route on our Orlando price list is Orlando International Airport (MCO) to International Drive, from US$155 in a Business Sedan to US$405 in an Executive Sprinter. Walt Disney World resort hotels sit farther southwest of that corridor and are separate addresses, so each resort is quoted as a fixed price in the web booker before you pay. Rides in Orlando are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much is a private Orlando airport transfer to Disney?
A private car from MCO to a Disney resort is quoted as a fixed, all-in price in the Elly8.net web booker. For scale, the published MCO to International Drive fare is US$155 in a Business Sedan, US$205 in a Business SUV and US$405 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle, with taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet included.
All-in means the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, the standard gratuity and the airport meet and greet are inside the number. Tolls and parking are billed at cost, and so is waiting beyond the included time, for example a long lunch in the terminal before you walk out to meet the driver. The price is per vehicle, not per person, which is why a family of five usually compares one SUV with five shuttle seats rather than with one seat.
For comparison, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority publishes approximate fares on its ground transportation page: a taxi to the Disney Resorts Area is listed at about US$52 to US$68 on the meter, and a shared shuttle van at US$23 per person one way. Those numbers are useful, and we come back to them later in this guide. The full table of Orlando vehicle classes and routes is on the Orlando car service page.

Step 1: what to tell us when you book
The quality of an MCO pickup is decided before you leave home. Four details make the difference:
- Your flight number. It is how the chauffeur follows the flight, and it tells the desk which airline and therefore which terminal you will land at.
- The exact resort name. Walt Disney World has many resort hotels spread over a very large area, each with its own entrance road and lobby. "Disney" is not an address; the resort name is.
- Passengers, bags and extras. Count suitcases, carry-ons, strollers and any wheelchair or scooter. A folded double stroller takes the space of a large case.
- Children and seats. Child seats are available on request. Give the age and weight of each child so the right seat is fitted before the vehicle reaches the airport.
You can enter all of this on the price list for a published route, or in the web booker for a resort address. The confirmation arrives by email, and the chauffeur's details follow before pickup.
Step 2: landing, flight tracking and waiting
Florida flights run late for ordinary reasons: summer afternoon storms, a slow departure from a northeastern hub, a holding pattern on a busy Saturday. Because airport pickups are flight-tracked, the chauffeur works to your actual landing time rather than the time printed on the ticket. An early arrival is covered the same way.
You get complimentary waiting after a tracked landing. That covers the walk from the gate, the people mover to the main terminal where it applies, the restroom stop with tired children and the wait at the carousel. If something unusual happens, such as a missing-bag claim that takes a long time, message the desk; the 24/7 team relays it to the chauffeur. Our airport meet and greet page explains the process in full.
Step 3: where your chauffeur meets you at MCO
MCO has three passenger terminals: A and B in the original terminal building and the newer Terminal C. The airport organises its curbs differently for each mode of transport, and that is where many arriving families lose time.
According to the airport's rideshare page, app rides pick up on the Arrivals Curb (Level 2) at Terminals A and B, and on the Arrivals Curb (Level 6) at Terminal C. The taxi page places the taxi ranks on the Ground Transportation Curb (Level 1) at Terminals A and B, and on the Arrivals Curb (Level 6) at Terminal C. Shared shuttle vans load on Level 1 at all three terminals.
With a pre-booked chauffeur, none of that is your problem. The chauffeur waits inside the arrivals area with a name board, helps with the bags and walks you to the vehicle. Look for your name rather than for a curb number. If your phone is on, the chauffeur's contact details are in the message you received before pickup.
Step 4: matching the vehicle to the bags
Disney trips carry more luggage than business trips, and the vehicle should be chosen by bags and child seats as much as by headcount. The capacities below come from our fleet page, with the published MCO to International Drive fares for scale.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Bags | MCO to International Drive | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business Sedan | up to 3 | 2 | US$155 | A couple, or a parent and child with light bags |
| First Class Sedan | up to 3 | 2 | US$275 | A couple who want a top-class sedan |
| Business SUV / Van | up to 6 | 6 | US$205 | Families with child seats and a stroller |
| First Class SUV | up to 6 | 6 | US$250 | Families who want a premium SUV |
| Executive Sprinter | up to 12 | 12 | US$405 | Two families travelling together, reunions |
Child seats take up seating space, so a family of five with two car seats and five suitcases is a Business SUV at the very least, and often an Executive Sprinter if there are golf bags, a double stroller or extra carry-ons. When two families land on different flights, two SUVs on two reservations are easier than holding one van at the airport. Our post on the MCO Disney shuttle vs a private car works through the family arithmetic in detail.
Step 5: the drive from the airport to your resort
Leaving MCO, chauffeurs normally use the toll expressways around the airport to reach the Disney area, then the resort's own entrance roads. On a clear road International Drive is about 23 minutes and 13 miles (22 km) from the airport, and the Disney resorts lie beyond it to the southwest. Traffic, not distance, decides the real time: a convention letting out on International Drive, a Friday afternoon or a summer storm can stretch the drive.
That is the main argument for a flat rate. A metered taxi charges for the time spent in slow traffic, and the airport's taxi page states that taxis picking up at the airport must charge by the taximeter and that flat rates are not authorized. App rides can carry surge pricing at busy times. Our price is set at booking and does not move with the traffic or the hour of landing.
The chauffeur drives to the resort entrance and the lobby or bell desk, not to a distant parking lot. Many resort hotels will hold bags if you arrive before your room is ready; ask your resort, then head to the pool while housekeeping finishes. For what happens at the resort end, from bell services to a grocery stop on the way, see our companion guide to the Orlando airport to Disney resort car service.
Landing at Sanford instead (SFB)
Some leisure fares land at Orlando Sanford International Airport, about 37 miles (60 km) north of International Drive and around 53 minutes on a clear road, so the Disney area is a long transfer away. The airport's taxis, shuttles and rides page places the pickup zone for rideshares, taxis and pre-arranged shuttles directly across the street from Baggage Claim areas 1 to 3.
Our published SFB to International Drive fares run from US$275 in a Business Sedan and US$360 in a Business SUV to US$715 in an Executive Sprinter. The Disney resort itself is quoted in the web booker. On a long drive with tired children, the case for a fixed price, fitted car seats and a chauffeur who has watched your flight gets stronger, not weaker.
Flat rate vs metered: the honest comparison
Here is how the main options look for an arriving family, using the airport's own published estimates where they exist.
| Option | Price to the Disney area | Child seats | Waiting for you | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Taxi from the rank | about US$52 to US$68 metered (airport estimate) | bring your own or ask the cab company | no; you queue at the rank | Small groups without seats, off-peak |
| App ride | varies with demand; not published | rarely guaranteed | no; you walk to the curb | Flexible adults with light bags |
| Shared shuttle van | US$23 per person one way (airport estimate) | check with the operator | no; scheduled departures | Solo travellers and couples on a budget |
| LYNX local bus | US$4 to the Disney Resorts Area (airport table) | no | no | Budget travellers with carry-on bags |
| Elly8.net SUV or Sprinter | fixed, all-in price in the web booker | on request, fitted before pickup | yes, inside arrivals with a name board | Families, groups, late flights |
The fair reading: two adults with carry-on bags landing in the middle of the afternoon will spend less in a taxi, and that is a reasonable choice. Taxis also carry up to nine passengers at one meter fare, according to the airport. The pre-booked car wins when the flight lands late at night, when there are children who need seats, when the luggage will not fit a standard cab, and when knowing the exact cost before you leave home matters more than the lowest possible fare. Our broader MCO shuttle vs private car comparison covers International Drive, downtown and Kissimmee too, and chauffeur vs taxi sets out the general trade-offs.
Departure day: the same trip in reverse
The return run is where families most often regret leaving transport to chance. Checkout, bags, a last breakfast and an airport security line all compress into one morning. A round trip on one reservation solves it: the published MCO and International Drive round trip runs from US$295 in a Business Sedan to US$770 in an Executive Sprinter, and a resort round trip is quoted the same way in the web booker.
Give us your departure flight and the resort pickup time you want. Check your airline's recommended airport arrival time, add the drive and a buffer for traffic, and the chauffeur arrives at the resort entrance at that time. Cancellation is clear: more than 72 hours before pickup is free; 72 hours or less is 10%; 48 hours or less is 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100%. Refunds go to the original card. The full terms are on our cancellation policy page.
Planning the rest of the Florida trip
Many Disney itineraries add a second stop. We book the Kennedy Space Center day trip from Orlando as an eight-hour package from US$700 in a Business Sedan to US$1,400 in an Executive Sprinter, and quote cruise transfers to Port Canaveral in the web booker; our MCO to Port Canaveral guide covers the timing. For travel beyond Orlando, our fixed-price city pages include Tampa car service, Miami car service and Jacksonville car service. Our airport transfers page covers how we handle flight changes and multi-leg trips.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the drive from MCO to a Disney resort?
International Drive is about 23 minutes and 13 miles (22 km) from MCO on a clear road, and the Disney resorts lie beyond it to the southwest, so allow longer. Traffic decides the real time, especially on Friday afternoons, during big conventions and in summer storms. The fixed price does not change if the drive takes longer than planned.
Where exactly will the chauffeur meet us?
Inside the arrivals area of your terminal with a name board. MCO has Terminals A, B and C, so the flight number you give at booking tells the chauffeur where to wait. You do not need to find the app-ride or taxi curbs; the chauffeur walks you and your bags to the vehicle.
Can you supply car seats for the transfer to Disney?
Yes. Child seats are available on request. Add the number of children with their ages and weights to the booking, and the seats are fitted before the vehicle reaches the airport. A Business SUV is the usual choice for a family with seats and suitcases, and an Executive Sprinter for larger groups.
What happens if our flight is delayed?
The chauffeur tracks the flight and adjusts to the actual landing time. Complimentary waiting after a tracked landing covers the walk from the gate and baggage claim. Waiting beyond the included time, for example if you stop for a meal before meeting the chauffeur, is billed at cost, so a quick message to the desk helps.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. A Business SUV costs the same for two passengers as for six, and an Executive Sprinter the same for six as for twelve. That is why larger families often find a private car close to the combined price of individual shuttle seats once both directions are counted.
Can we stop at a grocery store on the way to the resort?
Yes. Add the stop when you book in the web booker so it is priced as a multi-stop transfer, or book by the hour from US$95 in a Business Sedan with a three-hour minimum. The chauffeur waits with the bags in the vehicle while you shop, then continues to the resort.
