A Collingwood party bus or group vehicle through Elly8.net starts with the Executive Sprinter, which seats 12 and books at a fixed US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or as the five-hour evening out and event night package for US$1,100. Party buses with a party layout, stretch limousines and stretch SUV limousines for up to 16 are priced for your date and route in the web booker. Every price is per vehicle and all-in, with the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity included.
What makes a group night at Blue Mountain different is the geography. The chalet is up a steep road on the escarpment, dinner is in Collingwood or Thornbury, the bar or the event is in the Village, and the distances between them are rural kilometres, often in snow and always in the dark by the end. A vehicle that waits for the whole evening solves that. This guide covers the sizes, the budgets, the questions to ask any operator and the dates that book up first.
How big a vehicle does your group need?
Count everyone who will ride, then add a seat of margin. Up to 6 fit a Business or First Class SUV, up to 8 a stretch limousine, up to 12 an Executive Sprinter or a party bus, and up to 16 a stretch SUV limousine. Bigger groups travel in two vehicles booked together, with one pickup plan.
Every passenger needs a belted seat while the vehicle moves, so the seat count is the limit, not the floor space. If the group is 13, that is two vehicles, and it is better to find out when you book than at the chalet door.
Rides in Collingwood and Blue Mountain are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.

The vehicles, by group and by gear
| Vehicle | Seats | Bags | How it is priced | Best for at Blue Mountain |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business SUV / Van | 6 | 6 | US$140 an hour, 3-hour minimum | small groups, dinner in Collingwood, family nights |
| First Class SUV | 6 | 6 | US$165 an hour, 3-hour minimum | anniversaries and a more formal evening for six |
| Stretch Limousine | 8 | 2 | priced in the web booker | wedding couples and bridal parties, small celebrations |
| Executive Sprinter | 12 | 12 | US$220 an hour, 3-hour minimum, or US$1,100 for the evening package | groups with coats, boots and bags, arrival and departure days |
| Party Bus | 12 | 2 | priced in the web booker | birthdays and stag or stagette nights that want a party layout |
| Stretch SUV Limousine | 16 | 2 | priced in the web booker | larger celebrations that want to stay in one vehicle |
The bag column matters more here than in a city. In winter everyone is wearing a heavy coat and boots, and a group moving between a chalet and the Village may carry shoes to change into, a bag of gifts or ski gear for the next morning. The Executive Sprinter has room for 12 bags as well as 12 people; the party bus and the stretch limousines are built for the ride and carry very little. Every partner vehicle is four model years old or newer, and the fleet page shows each class.
What a Blue Mountain group night costs
For the Sprinter and the SUVs, the published Collingwood and Blue Mountain rates give a firm budget before you book anything.
| Package | Business SUV / Van | First Class SUV | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|
| By the hour, as directed (3-hour minimum) | US$140/h | US$165/h | US$220/h |
| 3 hours, the minimum booking | US$420 | US$495 | US$660 |
| Evening out and event night, 5 hours | US$700 | US$825 | US$1,100 |
| Full-day chauffeur, 8 hours | US$1,035 | US$1,215 | US$1,620 |
The 3-hour row is arithmetic from the hourly rate. Prices are per vehicle, never per person. As arithmetic for comparison only, a US$1,100 Sprinter evening shared by 11 people is US$100 each, and the fare is the same whether 8 or 12 ride. Tolls, parking and time beyond the booked hours are billed at cost. Party buses and stretch limousines depend on the date and the hours, so the web booker prices them exactly; our guide to how much a limo costs explains what drives those quotes.
Why mountain nights need more time than city nights
Most groups book too few hours, and around Blue Mountain the gap between plan and reality is wider than usual.
Distance between stops. The Village, Collingwood's main street, Thornbury and the chalets on the escarpment are spread along the shore and up the hill. Each leg is short on a map but slower on winding two-lane roads, and a four-stop evening can spend more time on the road than in a city.
Chalet pickups. Steep, narrow or private driveways, gate codes and unlit lanes all slow a pickup, and a 12-seat vehicle cannot always climb to the door in snow. Give the full address, the gate code and any notes on the driveway when you book, and agree a pickup point at the bottom of the hill if the drive is steep.
Weather. Lake-effect snow off Georgian Bay can arrive fast, and the chauffeur drives to the conditions. Build in margin, because a slower drive home still uses booked time.
The ride home. Late at night the roads are dark and quiet, and you cannot count on finding a taxi or an app ride on demand outside the town centres. A vehicle that is already waiting is the reason to book in the first place.
As a rule of thumb, three hours suits a single dinner with the drive each way; five hours, the evening package, suits dinner plus a second stop; and anything with more than two venues or multiple chalet pickups deserves the full five hours or more.
Nights and days that suit a group vehicle
Après-ski and a night in the Village. Blue Mountain Village is the pedestrian base at the foot of the slopes, with restaurants and bars a short walk apart. A group staying in chalets or in Collingwood books the vehicle to drop at the Village edge and collect at an agreed time. The resort lists separate check-in points for the Blue Mountain Inn, the Village Suites, Mosaic Suites and the Westin Trillium House on its getting-here page, so give the exact property name for hotel pickups.
Holiday Magic. The Village's festive season runs from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, according to Blue Mountain Resort. Those weeks bring office parties and family evenings to the Village, so book Saturdays early.
Apple Harvest Fest. The resort's autumn festival is usually held in mid-October; the 2026 edition ran from 11 to 14 October, per the event page. Check the page for next year's dates before you book.
A winery afternoon. The Beaver Valley and the Georgian Bay shore have small wineries and cideries. Georgian Hills Vineyards, for example, describes itself as about 20 minutes north-west of Collingwood, and its tasting-room days change between summer and autumn, so check before you go. A daytime tasting tour suits the hourly rate well, with one chauffeur and no designated driver; see wine tours.
Stag, stagette and birthday weekends. A chalet weekend often needs the same vehicle twice: a Friday arrival with luggage and a Saturday night out. Use a Sprinter for the arrival and decide on the Saturday vehicle separately.
Weddings. The escarpment, the orchards and the waterfront venues make the area busy with weddings from late spring to autumn. A stretch limousine or First Class SUV for the couple, plus a Sprinter or party bus for the wedding party, is a common pairing; see wedding limousine service.
Team nights and off-sites. Companies that bring staff to the mountain for a weekend often book an evening vehicle for the group dinner. See event transportation and corporate car service, with monthly invoicing on a corporate account.
Arrival day is a Sprinter job, not a party bus job
A party bus seats 12 but carries 2 bags. For a group flying into Toronto Pearson for a ski weekend, that is the wrong vehicle. The Executive Sprinter seats 12 with room for 12 bags, and the fixed fare from Pearson to Blue Mountain Village is US$860, the same in either direction. Book the arrival and departure in a Sprinter and the party vehicle for the night out. Our guide to whether the Blue Mountain shuttle is worth it compares the group arithmetic with shared transport, and the Toronto to Blue Mountain drive guide covers the route and timing.
Two group nights, costed
A 40th birthday for ten, Saturday in February. Pickups at two chalets on the escarpment at 6 p.m., dinner in Collingwood, then the Village until midnight, with drop-offs at both chalets. That is six hours with the vehicle on call. The evening out and event night package covers five hours for US$1,100, and the sixth hour adds US$220 at the hourly rate, so US$1,320 as arithmetic. Ten people fit with two seats spare and room for coats. If the group prefers a party layout and does not need luggage space, ask the web booker for a party bus on the same date.
A winery afternoon for six, Saturday in September. Pickup in the Village at 12:30 p.m., two tasting rooms in the Beaver Valley, an early dinner in Thornbury, back by 7 p.m. That is six and a half hours. A Business SUV at US$140 an hour comes to US$910 for six and a half hours as arithmetic; the full-day chauffeur at US$1,035 adds headroom for a longer dinner.
The number on your confirmation is the whole price for the vehicle, gratuity included, with only tolls, parking or extra time added at cost.
Rules on board
Alcohol. The chauffeur follows Ontario rules and local by-laws, so there is no alcohol in the vehicle. Plan drinks at the venue, the winery or the chalet.
Seats and belts. Every passenger needs a belted seat. The vehicle will not leave with more people than seats.
Behaviour and damage. Standing while moving, leaning out of windows and damage to the interior end the evening, and cleaning or repairs are charged. Share the rules with the group in advance.
Stops. The vehicle follows your itinerary, but every stop adds time, and time beyond the booked hours is billed at cost.
Questions to ask any operator before you pay
Whether you book with us or someone else, these questions prevent most surprises:
- Does the operator hold a CVOR certificate? Under Ontario's Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration program, buses with a seating capacity of 10 or more passengers need a CVOR, and the province assigns every operator a safety rating. A 12-seat party bus is in that category. Ask for the details and the rating.
- Is the vehicle commercially insured for paying passengers? Every Elly8.net partner is; ask anyone else to confirm in writing.
- What is included? Our fares include the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity. Ask other quotes about fuel, cleaning fees and gratuity.
- How many belted seats? Not how many people the vehicle "holds".
- Can the vehicle reach the pickup address? A large vehicle on a steep chalet road in January is a real question.
- What does extra time cost, and what is the cancellation policy? Ours is exact: free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or a no-show, refunded to the original card. See the cancellation policy.
When to book
Eight to twelve weeks ahead for Saturdays in the heart of ski season, Holiday Magic weekends, and summer and autumn wedding Saturdays.
Four to six weeks ahead for an ordinary birthday or team night.
Two weeks ahead, confirm the head count, every pickup address with driveway notes, the order of stops and the finish time. If the group has grown past the seat count, add a second vehicle now.
For the wider regional picture, the Collingwood and Blue Mountain car service page lists every fare, our party bus rental and group transportation pages cover larger groups in every city, and neighbouring Muskoka has its own fixed prices.
How to book
- Enter the first pickup and the final drop-off, and list every stop and chalet address in the notes.
- Choose the vehicle by seats first, then by bags.
- Reserve the Sprinter or SUV at the fixed rate, or use the web booker for party buses and stretch limousines. Confirmation arrives by email.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a party bus in Collingwood?
An Executive Sprinter for 12 is US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, so US$660 for three hours, or US$1,100 for the five-hour evening out and event night package. Party buses and stretch SUV limousines are priced in the web booker for your date. All prices are per vehicle.
Can a party bus pick us up at a chalet?
Usually, yes. Give the full address, gate code and driveway notes when you book. If the road is steep or narrow, or there is heavy snow, the chauffeur may collect the group at the bottom of the drive or a nearby corner agreed in advance.
Can we drink on the party bus?
No. The chauffeur follows Ontario rules and local by-laws, so there is no alcohol in the vehicle. Plan drinks at the venue, the winery or the chalet, and use the vehicle to get everyone there and back safely, with nobody needing to drive on rural roads at night.
Should we use a party bus for the airport run?
No. A party bus carries 2 bags. For a group of up to 12 flying into Pearson, book an Executive Sprinter, which carries 12 bags, at a fixed US$860 to Blue Mountain Village, and book the party vehicle separately for the night out.
What should we check before booking any party bus in Ontario?
Ask for the belted seat count, proof of commercial insurance, what the price includes, the extra-time rate and the cancellation terms. Buses seating 10 or more passengers need a CVOR certificate in Ontario, and each operator has a provincial safety rating.
How far ahead should we book for a ski-season Saturday?
Eight to twelve weeks is sensible for peak winter Saturdays and Holiday Magic weekends, when 12-seat and larger vehicles are in highest demand. Free cancellation applies more than 72 hours before pickup, so booking early carries little risk, and you can confirm the final head count and stops two weeks before the date.
