A Westchester wedding limo plan is really a timetable: who needs to be where, in which vehicle, and for how long. Most couples book one premium car for themselves, a vehicle for the wedding party, and sometimes a shuttle for guests between a hotel and the venue. On Elly8.net, a First Class Sedan by the hour costs US$160 an hour in Westchester and an Executive Sprinter for guests US$200 an hour, each with a 3-hour minimum, per vehicle and all-in.
Westchester and Greenwich weddings are spread out: ceremonies in churches and temples in one town, receptions at country clubs, estates and Hudson River venues in another, photographs at a park or a historic site in between. The distances are short, but the day has many moving parts. This guide gives a sample timeline, the vehicle choices and realistic budgets.
How much does a wedding limo cost in Westchester?
On the Elly8.net Westchester list, a First Class Sedan is US$160 an hour, a First Class SUV US$150 and a Business SUV US$125, each with a 3-hour minimum. A full day is US$1,180 in a First Class Sedan. A 12-seat Executive Sprinter is US$200 an hour. Rolls-Royce, Maybach and stretch limousines are quoted in the web booker.
All prices are per vehicle and include the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes and standard gratuity. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the booked time are billed at cost.

A sample wedding-day timeline
This is a typical Saturday with a 4 pm ceremony in one town and a reception at a club about 20 minutes away. Clear-road drive times inside the county are short: White Plains to Sleepy Hollow is about 8 miles (13 km), 15 minutes; White Plains to Port Chester about 11 minutes; Westchester County Airport to Greenwich about 15 minutes.
| Time | What happens | Vehicle | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1:30 pm | Pickup of the bridal party at the getting-ready house or hotel | Executive Sprinter or Stretch Limousine | Allow loading time for dresses and flowers |
| 2:15 pm | Couple's car arrives at the getting-ready address | First Class Sedan, Rolls-Royce or Maybach | Car waits for photos at the door |
| 3:30 pm | Arrival at the ceremony | All vehicles | Arrive 20 to 30 minutes early |
| 4:00 pm | Ceremony | Vehicles wait nearby | Waiting is part of the booking |
| 5:00 pm | Photographs at a park, estate or the river | Couple's car and wedding party vehicle | Agree the location with the photographer in advance |
| 6:00 pm | Arrival at the reception | All vehicles | The couple's car is often released here |
| 11:00 pm | Guest shuttle runs back to the hotel | Executive Sprinter | Two or three loops at set times |
Count the hours from the first pickup to the last release. In this plan, the couple's car runs about 4 hours and the wedding party vehicle about 4.5; a guest shuttle that runs at the start and end of the night may be two separate bookings rather than one long one.
Vehicle choices: the couple, the party and the guests
For the couple. A First Class Sedan (Mercedes-Benz S-Class or similar) is the most popular choice: elegant, easy to get in and out of in a gown, and on the fixed list at US$160 an hour. For a statement arrival, a Rolls-Royce or Mercedes-Maybach seats two and is priced in the web booker. Those cars are allowed up to seven model years old on our network, against four for every other class.
For the wedding party. Up to six people fit in a First Class SUV (US$150 an hour) or Business SUV (US$125 an hour). Up to eight fit in a Stretch Limousine, which is the classic choice for photos. For nine to twelve, the Executive Sprinter's high roof makes it easy to enter in formal wear.
For guests. A guest shuttle is the most underrated wedding booking. A Sprinter looping between the hotel and the venue means nobody drives after the reception and nobody hunts for parking at a club with a small lot. Our wedding limousine and guest shuttles page explains how loops are timed, and group transportation covers multi-vehicle days.

Typical budgets
Here are three common plans, priced from the fixed Westchester list. Elly8.net prices are per vehicle.
The simple plan: one car for the couple. A First Class Sedan for 4 hours, from the getting-ready address through the ceremony and photographs to the reception: US$640.
The classic plan: couple plus wedding party. A First Class Sedan for 4 hours (US$640) and an Executive Sprinter for the wedding party for 4.5 hours (US$900): US$1,540 in total.
The full plan: couple, party and guest shuttle. The classic plan plus a second Executive Sprinter for 3 hours of guest loops at the end of the night (US$600): US$2,140.
If the couple's car is needed from morning to the send-off, the full-day rate of US$1,180 for a First Class Sedan is usually simpler than counting hours. For a rehearsal dinner, the evening out and event night package is US$800 in a First Class Sedan and US$1,000 in an Executive Sprinter, covering the ride there, the wait and the ride home.
Guests flying in
Out-of-town guests usually arrive through Westchester County Airport (HPN) or LaGuardia. HPN to White Plains is fixed at US$130 in a Business Sedan and US$340 in an Executive Sprinter; LaGuardia to White Plains from US$245 in a Business Sedan. The airport's airline page lists the routes into HPN. A single reservation can cover several arrivals, and our Westchester airport car service guide explains how pickups work. Guests landing at JFK should read the JFK to Westchester guide, and those who need a car for the weekend can book through airport transfers.
The rehearsal dinner and the day after
The wedding day gets the attention, but the cars around it are often where the planning slips.
The rehearsal dinner. Usually the evening before, with the couple, both families and the wedding party at a restaurant or a club. The evening out and event night package covers the ride there, the wait and the ride home at a fixed price: US$800 in a First Class Sedan, US$750 in a First Class SUV and US$1,000 in an Executive Sprinter. For grandparents and out-of-town relatives, a Sprinter loop from the hotel means nobody has to navigate an unfamiliar town at night.
The day after. A farewell brunch, then airport departures through the afternoon. Book the departures together: HPN to White Plains is US$130 in a Business Sedan and the same in reverse, and LaGuardia from US$245. Guests flying from JFK can be priced in the web booker. Bundling them on one reservation means one point of contact for the couple's family, and each car is set with a margin for the flight.
The send-off. If the couple leave the reception for a hotel or an airport hotel late at night, book that last ride separately rather than extending the couple's car for hours of waiting.
Photographs: allow time and agree the location
The most common reason a wedding car runs over is the photo stop. Agree the location with your photographer early and tell the desk. Popular backdrops include the Hudson River towns, the historic sites of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown run by Historic Hudson Valley, and the waterfront in Greenwich; the Town of Greenwich site is the place to check local rules. Some sites require permits or reservations for professional photography, so check with the site before the day; the chauffeur cannot arrange site access.
New York safety rules worth knowing
If you book a stretch limousine anywhere in New York, NYSDOT's stretch and modified vehicle policy states that a New York-registered stretch limousine may not be operated if it is more than ten years old from its completed manufacture date or has more than 350,000 miles on the odometer. For-hire stretched vehicles with more than 8 seats including the driver must pass a NYSDOT inspection. Elly8.net partner vehicles must also be four model years old or newer, or seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley.
When to book and how cancellation works
Saturdays in the main wedding season fill first, especially Rolls-Royces, stretch limousines and Sprinters. Book as soon as the venue and date are set; you can adjust times later through the desk. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% within 72 hours, 50% within 48 hours, and the full fare within 24 hours or for a no-show, with refunds to the original card.
The chauffeur follows New York's rules on passengers and alcohol. Plan the champagne toast at the venue rather than in the car.

Frequently asked questions
How many hours do we need a wedding car for?
For the couple, usually 4 to 5 hours: from the getting-ready address through the ceremony and photographs to the reception. The minimum on the Westchester list is 3 hours. If you need the car from morning to the send-off, the full-day rate, US$1,180 for a First Class Sedan, is often simpler.
What is the best car for the bride and groom?
A First Class Sedan, such as a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or similar, is the most popular choice at US$160 an hour in Westchester. For a statement arrival, a Rolls-Royce or Mercedes-Maybach seats two and is quoted in the web booker. All are chauffeur-driven, licensed and commercially insured.
Do we need a guest shuttle?
It helps when guests stay at a hotel away from the venue, when the venue has limited parking, or when you want nobody driving after the reception. An Executive Sprinter seats up to 12 at US$200 an hour, and loops can be timed for the start and the end of the night.
Can you pick up wedding guests from the airport?
Yes. HPN to White Plains is fixed from US$130 in a Business Sedan and LaGuardia to White Plains from US$245. One reservation can cover several arrivals, each flight-tracked, with the chauffeur waiting inside arrivals with a name board. Departures after the wedding are booked the same way.
Can we have champagne in the wedding car?
The chauffeur follows New York's rules on passengers and alcohol in the vehicle, which can differ by vehicle type. The simplest plan is to have the toast at the venue. Ask the desk when you book if you have a specific request.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as the date and venues are set, especially for Saturdays in the main wedding season. Rolls-Royces, stretch limousines and Sprinters are the first classes to go. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup if plans change.
