A taxi from Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) to the Bellagio is a flat zone fare. The Bellagio sits in Zone 2 of the Nevada Taxicab Authority's airport-to-Strip zones, and the Authority lists the Zone 2 fare at about US$26.25, before a fuel surcharge, fees, 3% excise tax and any tip. By our arithmetic from the Authority's published figures, paying by card takes the total to roughly US$31 to US$34 before a tip.
For one or two people with ordinary luggage, that is good value, and we will say so plainly. A pre-booked Elly8.net car from LAS to the centre of the Strip is fixed at US$125 in a business sedan, with meet and greet inside arrivals and the gratuity included, and it starts to make sense for groups, families, late arrivals, event weeks and anyone who would rather skip the taxi line.
How much is a taxi from Las Vegas airport to the Bellagio?
The Nevada Taxicab Authority lists the airport to Zone 2 fare, which covers the Bellagio, at about US$26.25. A US$1.00 fuel surcharge applies to zone rides at the current tier, a US$3.00 fee applies to card payments, and 3% excise tax is added to all rates and fees. Expect roughly US$31 to US$34 by card, plus tip.
The range depends on whether the US$2.40 airport pick-up fee in the Authority's base-rate table is itemised on your ride, which the page does not spell out for zone fares. The Authority also calls all its figures approximations, so treat the numbers as a guide and check the meter and receipt.

Why the Bellagio is a Zone 2 fare
Instead of running the meter from the airport to the Strip, Las Vegas taxis charge flat zone fares. The Nevada Taxicab Authority's fare page lists three:
- Zone 1, Sunset Road north to Tropicana Avenue: about US$22.25.
- Zone 2, Tropicana Avenue north to Flamingo Road: about US$26.25.
- Zone 3, Flamingo Road north to the Stratosphere: about US$30.25.
The Authority's Strip hotel map places the Bellagio, on the west side of Las Vegas Boulevard just south of Flamingo Road, inside Zone 2. Caesars Palace, across Flamingo Road to the north, falls in Zone 3, so a few hundred yards changes the fare by about US$4. If you are meeting friends at a resort across the intersection, check which zone it is in.
Adding it up: the full taxi fare, line by line
The zone fare is the starting point. The Authority's page lists the extras that can apply:
| Item | Amount, per the Nevada Taxicab Authority | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| Zone 2 flat fare, airport to the Bellagio | about US$26.25 | Every ride to Zone 2 |
| Fuel surcharge, current tier | US$1.00 per zone ride | Zone rides while Tier 1 is active |
| Airport properties fee | US$2.40 per pick-up | Listed in the base-rate table |
| Credit or debit card fee | US$3.00 | Card payments |
| Excise tax | 3% of all rates and fees | Every ride |
| Tip | Not included | Your choice |
By our arithmetic: US$26.25 plus the US$1.00 fuel surcharge, plus 3% tax, is about US$28.07 in cash. Paying by card adds US$3.00 plus tax, about US$31.16. If the US$2.40 airport fee is itemised as well, the card total is about US$33.63. Any tip is on top. These are calculations from the published rates, not quotes.
Where the taxi lines are at Harry Reid
According to the airport's taxi and ride share page, taxis wait outside baggage claim in both terminals:
- Terminal 1: outside baggage claim on the east side, near outside doors 1 to 4.
- Terminal 3: outside on Level Zero, near door 52.
The taxi line is a queue, and its length depends on how many flights land together. On a quiet weekday afternoon it moves quickly. On a Friday evening, during a big convention or on a fight night, it can be long. The airport also notes lane closures in the northbound and southbound airport connector tunnels through December 2026 for repaving, so allow extra time on the drive itself this year.
The drive from LAS to the centre of the Strip, where the Bellagio sits, is about 9 mi (14 km), and we plan around 39 minutes, because the airport roads, the tunnels and the resort driveways all take time.
Rideshare to the Bellagio
Uber and Lyft pick up in designated areas inside the parking garages: on Level 2 of the garage at Terminal 1 and on the Valet Level of the garage at Terminal 3, per the airport. That means a walk with your bags from baggage claim to the garage, and a price set by the app at the moment you request, which rises when demand is high. Rideshare and limousine services in Nevada are regulated by the Nevada Transportation Authority, separately from the taxis.
Off-peak, an app ride can cost about the same as a taxi. At peaks it can cost much more. Uber Black, the premium tier, is closer to a pre-booked car in quality but still priced by demand. See Uber Black vs a pre-booked chauffeur and chauffeur vs Uber and Lyft.
The bus
The cheapest option is the public bus. The airport's public bus page says RTC Route 108 (Paradise) and the Red Line (Maryland Parkway) both stop on Level Zero at Terminal 1, and travellers arriving at Terminal 3 take the inter-terminal shuttle to Terminal 1 first. Neither route is named for Las Vegas Boulevard, so reaching a Strip resort such as the Bellagio by bus is a longer trip; check RTC's journey planner before you rely on it. For a solo traveller with a backpack and time, it works. With suitcases, few people choose it.
A pre-booked car to the Bellagio
An Elly8.net car from LAS to the centre of the Strip is fixed before you fly: US$125 in a Business Sedan, US$165 in a Business SUV, US$200 in a First Class SUV, US$220 in a First Class Sedan and US$325 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle. The price includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
What you get for the difference:
- No queue. The chauffeur waits inside the arrivals area of your terminal with a name board and walks you to the car. See meet and greet.
- Flight tracking. Complimentary waiting after a tracked landing, so a delay or a slow bag belt does not change the price within the included time.
- The right size of car. A Business Sedan carries three passengers and two large bags; a Business SUV or First Class SUV, six and six; an Executive Sprinter, twelve and twelve.
- A fixed price in event weeks, when demand and app prices climb.
- Child seats on request.
Rides in Las Vegas are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
Who should take which
| Traveller | Our pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| One person, carry-on, off-peak | Taxi or bus | The Zone 2 taxi is the best value door to door |
| A couple with two cases | Taxi, unless it is a peak night | About US$31 to US$34 by card plus tip, against US$125 fixed |
| A family of four with luggage and a child seat | Elly8.net Business SUV, US$165 | Space for six bags, seats fitted, no garage walk |
| Six friends for a weekend | Elly8.net Business SUV, US$165, or two taxis | One vehicle, one price; per person about US$27.50 as arithmetic |
| Ten guests for a wedding or a bachelor party | Executive Sprinter, US$325 | Everyone together, twelve bags |
| A late-night landing in a convention week | Pre-booked car | No line, no surge, chauffeur inside arrivals |
| A business arrival with a meeting | First Class Sedan, US$220 | Fixed time, quiet car, invoice on account |
The honest summary: for one or two people on an ordinary day, take the taxi. For groups, families, VIP or business arrivals and event weeks, book the car. Book the car through our Harry Reid Airport car service.
Race week, CES and the busy nights
Some weeks change the arithmetic. The Las Vegas Grand Prix runs on November 19 to 21, 2026, on a street circuit that uses Las Vegas Boulevard past the Bellagio, with the race on Saturday night. During race week, parts of the boulevard and nearby streets are used for the circuit, and getting in and out of the Strip resorts takes longer than usual. CES follows on January 6 to 9, 2027, bringing one of the year's biggest waves of arrivals.
On those days the taxi line is longer, app prices rise with demand, and a fixed price with a chauffeur who knows the day's road closures is worth more. Book early; see event transportation and conference transportation.
After the airport: the rest of a Bellagio stay
The airport ride is usually the first of several. Guests at the centre of the Strip head out for show nights, dinners across town, golf and the desert, and the same comparison applies each time: a taxi from the resort's line for a short hop, a car that waits when the night has several stops.
Three published Las Vegas packages cover most of it. The evening out and event night package runs from US$475 in a Business Sedan to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter, with the chauffeur waiting at an agreed point after the show. The signature Hoover Dam and Lake Mead day trip is a 6-hour package from US$525 in a Business Sedan to US$1,050 in a Sprinter. And an hourly chauffeur is US$95 an hour in a Business Sedan, US$120 in a Business SUV and US$190 in a Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum. All are per vehicle, fixed and all-in.
Going back: the Bellagio to the airport
For the return, the resort's doorstaff can direct you to the taxi line. Ask the driver before you set off whether a flat zone fare applies to your trip to the airport; otherwise the taxi runs on the meter at the Authority's base rate, which starts at US$5.50 and adds US$2.96 per additional mile after the first, plus waiting time in traffic. A pre-booked car is the same fixed price in either direction: US$125 from the Strip to LAS in a business sedan, and a round trip booked together costs from US$240.

The other Bellagio
The resort takes its name from Bellagio on Lake Como, in northern Italy, and the town is on many travellers' lists too. Frequently asked questions
What zone is the Bellagio in for Las Vegas taxis?
Zone 2, which the Nevada Taxicab Authority defines as Tropicana Avenue north to Flamingo Road. The Authority lists the airport to Zone 2 flat fare at about US$26.25, before the fuel surcharge, fees, tax and tip. Resorts north of Flamingo Road, such as Caesars Palace, are in Zone 3.
Is Uber cheaper than a taxi to the Bellagio?
Sometimes. Off-peak, an app ride can cost about the same as the zone taxi fare. At busy times app prices rise with demand, while the taxi zone fare stays the same. Rideshare pickups are in the parking garages, a walk from baggage claim.
Where do I get a taxi at Las Vegas airport?
At Terminal 1, outside baggage claim on the east side near doors 1 to 4. At Terminal 3, outside on Level Zero near door 52. Lines depend on how many flights land together and can be long on busy evenings.
How much is a private car from the airport to the Bellagio?
An Elly8.net car from LAS to the centre of the Strip is US$125 in a Business Sedan, US$165 in a Business SUV and US$325 in an Executive Sprinter, per vehicle, all-in with meet and greet and standard gratuity. Tolls and parking are billed at cost.
Is the taxi or a pre-booked car better for a family?
For a family of four with suitcases and a child seat, a pre-booked Business SUV at US$165 is usually better: room for six bags, seats fitted before pickup and a chauffeur waiting inside arrivals. For two adults with light bags, the taxi is cheaper.
Should I pre-book for Grand Prix week?
Yes. The Las Vegas Grand Prix runs November 19 to 21, 2026, on a circuit that uses Las Vegas Boulevard past the Bellagio, and the circuit changes how traffic moves along the Strip during the week. A pre-booked car fixes the price and the chauffeur plans around the closures.
