Limo rental prices in St. Louis are easiest to understand as three numbers: the rate, the time and the extras. On Elly8.net the first two are fixed and published, and the third is short. A chauffeur by the hour runs from US$95 an hour in a business sedan to US$190 in an Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum; the Lambert airport run to downtown is US$165 to US$430; and a 5-hour evening out is US$475 to US$950. Every price is per vehicle, never per person.
Those fixed prices include the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet; tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. Rides in St. Louis are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Below, a typical St. Louis quote is taken apart line by line, so you can compare ours, or anyone's, on equal terms.

The same table, with booking buttons, is on the St. Louis fares panel. The airport fares are the same in either direction. Any address that is not on the list, from Clayton to the Illinois side, is priced in the web booker before you pay, and the prices and packages page collects every city's list in one place.
A St. Louis limo quote, line by line
Most quotes in the market are built from the same parts, even when they are presented differently. Here is what each line means and how it maps to an Elly8.net price.
The base rate
The hourly or trip rate for the vehicle class. It is the number most quotes lead with, and on its own it tells you the least. On Elly8.net the published price is the whole price, so there is no separate base rate to add to.
The minimum
Hourly bookings almost always carry a minimum. Ours is 3 hours, and you can choose up to 12 at checkout. A 4- or 5-hour minimum elsewhere can make a short evening cost more than it looks.
When the clock runs
Ask whether time is counted from the booked pickup or from when the vehicle leaves its base, and in what increments overtime is charged. Elly8.net counts from the pickup time you booked; the car waits between stops for the hours you reserved.
Gratuity
Some quotes add a percentage for the chauffeur at the bottom. Elly8.net includes standard gratuity in the fixed price. You can tip more for exceptional service, but nothing is added by default.
Taxes, fees and surcharges
Look for taxes, fuel surcharges, administration or booking fees, and cleaning fees. Our prices include taxes and have no fuel or booking surcharge.
Tolls and parking
These are genuine pass-through costs. Elly8.net bills them at cost. In St. Louis the most common one is event parking downtown on game and concert nights.
Waiting and overtime
Weddings and dinners run late. On Elly8.net, waiting beyond the included time is billed at cost, so book the hours you realistically need.
Deposit and cancellation
How much is due now, what is charged afterwards, and what you get back if plans change. Ours: pay the fixed price at checkout; cancellation free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, with refunds to the original card. The full terms are on the cancellation policy page.
A worksheet for comparing two St. Louis quotes
Fill in the two quotes you have, for the same vehicle, date and hours. The last column is the Elly8.net answer for a 5-hour evening in a business SUV.
| Line | Quote A | Quote B | Elly8.net, business SUV, 5 hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base rate x hours | included in US$600 | ||
| Minimum hours | 3 (5 booked) | ||
| Gratuity | included | ||
| Taxes and fees | included | ||
| Fuel or other surcharges | none | ||
| Parking and tolls | at cost | ||
| Overtime rule | waiting beyond the included time at cost | ||
| All-in total | US$600 plus any at-cost extras |
Only the bottom row matters in the end. If one quote will not give you an all-in total in writing, that tells you something too. Our general page on how much a limo or black car costs explains the same logic across the network.
Transfer, hourly or package: picking the cheapest format
The format often matters more than the vehicle. Four common St. Louis plans show how.
A Blues game at Enterprise Center. Enterprise Center lists Blues home games on November 10, 17, 21 and 22. Dinner, the game and the ride home take about five hours, and the evening out package is US$475 in a business sedan or US$600 in a business SUV, the same as five hours by the clock but with the shape of the night built in.
Landing at Lambert, then straight to a client dinner. Book the airport transfer (US$165) and a separate evening booking, rather than paying hourly from the moment you land, unless the dinner starts soon after arrival.
A day of meetings in Clayton, downtown and Chesterfield. Ten hours by the hour in a business sedan would be US$950; the corporate roadshow day is US$855. Eight hours is US$760 on the clock against US$700 for the full-day package. Our corporate car service page explains how meeting days are planned.
A first visit: the Arch, Union Station and Forest Park. The private city highlights tour, 4 hours from US$380, fits a Gateway Arch visit with time to spare, provided you book tram tickets in advance (the Arch says they sell out early and often) and allow at least 15 minutes for security. See private city tours.
Groups: per vehicle, not per person
Every Elly8.net price is for the vehicle, so the arithmetic for a group is about filling seats. A business SUV takes up to 6 passengers and 6 bags; an Executive Sprinter takes up to 12 and 12. On the St. Louis list the comparison between one Sprinter and two SUVs comes out like this:
| Booking | One Executive Sprinter | Two business SUVs | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lambert to downtown | US$430 | US$430 (2 x US$215) | a tie on price; the Sprinter keeps the group together |
| By the hour | US$190 an hour | US$240 an hour | the Sprinter is cheaper for any multi-stop day |
| Evening out, 5 hours | US$950 | US$1,200 | the Sprinter saves US$250 |
| Full day, 8 hours | US$1,400 | US$1,770 | the Sprinter saves US$370 |
Two SUVs still make sense when the group needs to split, for example between a Clayton hotel and a downtown one, or when part of the group leaves early. Dividing a fixed price by the headcount is fine for comparing options (US$950 across ten people is US$95 each), but it is only arithmetic; you pay one price for the vehicle.
What weddings and proms cost on this list
A wedding day. A common St. Louis pairing is a First Class Sedan for the couple and an Executive Sprinter for the wedding party. On 5-hour evening blocks that is US$775 plus US$950, or US$1,725 for both vehicles, all-in. On 8-hour full days it is US$1,145 plus US$1,400. Guest shuttles between a hotel and the reception can be added as hourly loops.
A prom night. Six students in a business SUV on the evening out package is US$600 for the vehicle. A parent can book and pay, the pickup list and the return time are agreed in advance, and the chauffeur follows local rules throughout the night. Our guide to St. Louis party bus companies covers larger groups.
Where St. Louis prices get tested
Some weeks stretch every operator in the city: Cardinals home stands in baseball season, Blues home games from autumn into spring, convention weeks at America's Center, prom and graduation season in spring, and wedding Saturdays. On Elly8.net the fixed price is the same on those dates as on a quiet Tuesday; what changes is availability, so book once the date is set. Before fixing a date, it is worth checking the calendar on Explore St. Louis, the visitor bureau that promotes America's Center, because a big convention fills the downtown hotels and the cars that serve them at the same time.
Black car or limousine for the occasion?
Many St. Louis searches for a limo are really for a black car: a quiet, comfortable sedan or SUV with a professional chauffeur. A business sedan (a Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Cadillac CT6, Lincoln Continental or similar) at US$95 an hour suits business days and dinners; a First Class Sedan (an S-Class, BMW 7 Series or similar) at US$155 an hour suits anniversaries and VIP guests. A stretch limousine is about the occasion and the photographs more than the ride, and it is requested through the web booker. Our black car vs limousine page sets out when each one makes sense, and the price difference is often larger than the difference in how the evening feels.
Licensing and insurance: one check worth making
In the St. Louis area, the Metropolitan Taxicab Commission publishes a list of for-hire transportation companies that it licenses and says are insured, including premium sedan services, and it asks riders to verify a company before hiring it. Whoever you book, ask which licence the vehicle operates under and who carries the commercial insurance. For Elly8.net, rides are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners, and partner vehicles are four model years old or newer, seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley.
Ways to keep the bill down
- Use transfers for A-to-B trips. The US$165 Lambert run is cheaper than any 3-hour minimum.
- Book the round trip together. US$315 instead of US$330 in a business sedan.
- Choose the package past seven hours. The full day and the roadshow day are cheaper than the clock.
- Match the car to the luggage. A First Class SUV is US$25 less than a First Class Sedan from Lambert and carries more bags.
- Use MetroLink when it fits. For one person near a station, it costs US$2.50; save the car for the trips it is good at.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a limo per hour in St. Louis?
On Elly8.net, US$95 an hour in a business sedan, US$120 in a business SUV, US$145 in a First Class SUV, US$155 in a First Class Sedan and US$190 in an Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum. The price is per vehicle and includes taxes and standard gratuity.
What is included in an Elly8.net St. Louis price?
The chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost. There are no fuel surcharges or booking fees, and the price does not change on busy nights.
Is a stretch limousine available in St. Louis?
Stretch limousines, stretch SUVs, party buses and specialty cars are not on the fixed St. Louis list, but you can request them through the web booker with your date and addresses. The desk confirms availability and the price before you pay.
Why is one St. Louis quote so much cheaper than another?
Usually because the cheaper one leaves things out: gratuity, taxes, a fuel surcharge, a longer minimum or time counted from the garage. Put both quotes through the same worksheet, for the same vehicle and hours, and compare the all-in totals.
Do St. Louis limo prices go up for Cardinals or Blues games?
On Elly8.net, no. The fixed price is the same on a game night as on any other night. Event parking is billed at cost, and the desk agrees the drop-off and pickup points with you in advance to keep it down.
How far ahead should we book a limo in St. Louis?
As soon as the date is fixed, especially for wedding Saturdays, prom nights and convention weeks, when availability is tightest. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, so booking early costs nothing if plans are still settling and the details can follow.
