Where Uber and Lyft pick up at Sky Harbor
Sky Harbor's rideshare page lists the pickup locations, which are on the terminal curbs rather than in a garage:
- Terminal 3: the entire south outer curb except the far east end, and the far east end of the north outer curb.
- Terminal 4: Level 1, north outer curb, far west end outside door 1; and Level 1, south outer curb, at the east end outside doors 6 or 8 and the west end at door 2.
- Rental Car Center: the Visitor's Parking Lot, via the exterior elevator from the lobby.
- PHX Sky Train stations: the south curb at the 24th Street station and the north curb at the 44th Street station.
The airport lists Uber, Lyft and other providers, including Waymo's autonomous rides, and says rideshare is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for most providers. Its advice is to request the ride once you have all your bags and are ready to leave the terminal, which is sensible: the driver is on the clock from the moment you request.

The taxi figures are the airport's published rates, which it says are the same regardless of the company, the number of passengers or the number of bags. The downtown flat rate applies inside the area bounded by Roosevelt Street, Lincoln Street, Seventh Avenue and Seventh Street. Phoenix is one of the places where autonomous ride-hailing is part of the normal choice. Sky Harbor lists Waymo among its rideshare providers and says Waymo curbside pickup and drop-off at Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 uses each terminal's rideshare location, 24 hours a day, with further autonomous pickup points at the 24th Street and 44th Street Sky Train stations. For a curious solo traveller with a carry-on, it is an interesting way into town. It is still an app ride: priced at the time you request, collected at the curb, and with nobody to help with the bags or wait inside for a delayed flight.
