CES transportation comes down to curbs and clocks. CES 2027 runs January 6 to 9, 2027 across the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), the Venetian Expo, C Space at ARIA and CES Foundry at the Fontainebleau, and the LVCC only allows passenger drop-off and pickup at three entrances, with no standing or parking. Plan around those rules and the day runs; ignore them and you lose an hour at every hall change.
This post is the curb-level guide: where each venue lets cars stop, where rideshare pickups are, which free shuttles to use, and how a staged chauffeur with Elly8.net, from US$95 an hour in a Business Sedan or US$190 in an Executive Sprinter (three-hour minimum), gets you out when the halls close. Rides in Las Vegas are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
Where can a car drop you off and pick you up at the LVCC during CES?
According to the CTA's CES transportation guide, passenger pickup and drop-off at the Las Vegas Convention Center is allowed only at the S2, C5 and West Hall entrances, drivers must stay with their vehicles, and no standing or parking is allowed. There is no public parking at the LVCC or the Venetian Expo.
That single rule shapes every good CES plan. A chauffeur cannot wait at the door for an hour, so the car is staged nearby and called in when you are ready, and you walk to the agreed entrance. The source for this, and for the venue details below, is the official CES transportation guide, which the organiser updates before the show; check it again the week you travel.

Every CES venue: drop-off, rideshare and shuttle points
| Venue | Car drop-off and pickup | Rideshare pickup (per CES) | Free CES shuttle |
|---|---|---|---|
| LVCC | S2, C5 and West Hall entrances only; no standing | Outside South Hall between the Bronze lot and the Renaissance, or the Diamond Lot next to West Hall | Tech Express (Route 9) from Central Plaza, near the Monorail walkway |
| Venetian Expo | Main porte-cochere on Sands Avenue | Main porte-cochere on Sands Avenue | Tech Express boards on Sands Avenue in front of the Venetian Expo |
| Venetian hotel | Hotel arrival area | Valet area in the parking garage | Via the Venetian Expo stop |
| C Space at ARIA | ARIA arrival areas | Lower level of the North Valet Lobby | C Space Shuttle (Route 7) from the LVCC and Venetian Expo, Wednesday to Friday |
| CES Foundry at Fontainebleau | Fontainebleau arrival areas | South Valet area | Vegas Loop from the LVCC (small fare) |
| Westgate | Hotel arrival areas | Sportsbook entrance | Monorail and Vegas Loop |
Two details catch first-time visitors. First, the Las Vegas Monorail does not serve the Venetian Expo, so a Monorail plan that includes the Venetian needs the Tech Express for the last leg. Second, the free LVCC Loop runs only across the LVCC campus, linking West Hall with the Central and South Halls; the paid Vegas Loop connects the LVCC with Encore, Fontainebleau, Resorts World, Sahara and Westgate.
Arrive on time: the morning plan
Know your opening times. The official CES dates and hours list exhibits from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 9. C Space runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, and the conference programme generally runs to 5 p.m. Media days are Monday and Tuesday, January 4 and 5, at Mandalay Bay.
Leave earlier than your map app suggests. The resort driveways are the first bottleneck. Every official hotel's shuttles, taxis and cars leave at the same hour, so book the hotel pickup 30 to 45 minutes before your first meeting, not 15.
Choose your entrance before you leave. At the LVCC, tell the chauffeur whether your first meeting is in West Hall or the Central and South Halls. Dropping at West Hall when your booth is in South Hall means a long walk or a ride on the LVCC Loop.
Take the free shuttle when it is simpler. If you are alone, on time and staying at an official CES hotel, the complimentary hotel shuttles run to and from the LVCC and the Venetian Expo from Tuesday, January 5 to Saturday, January 9. A car is worth it when you are hosting a client, carrying samples or demo kit, or need to be on stage at a set time.
Between venues: the midday hop
The Tech Express links the LVCC and the Venetian Expo, and the C Space Shuttle runs to ARIA from Wednesday to Friday. For a single attendee moving once, they are a good free option.
A staged hourly car earns its price when the afternoon crosses three venues, when a meeting overruns and the next one is at ARIA, or when a team of six needs to move together. The chauffeur waits near the venue rather than at the curb, you message when you are walking out, and the car pulls into the permitted entrance as you arrive. For teams, an Executive Sprinter with driver at US$190 an hour carries up to 12 people and 12 bags or cases.
The 6 p.m. exit: the moment that decides the day
When the exhibit halls close, tens of thousands of people leave at once. The CTA itself warns that taxi lines can be long, especially at the close of the show each day, and every rideshare pickup zone in the table above fills in minutes. Prices in the apps rise with demand, and the match times stretch.
This is the plan we use for CES clients:
- Pick the exit before the day starts. At the LVCC, choose S2, C5 or West Hall, whichever is closest to where your last meeting ends. At the Venetian Expo, it is the main porte-cochere on Sands Avenue.
- Stage the car. The chauffeur holds nearby, within a few minutes of the entrance, because no standing is allowed at the LVCC doors.
- Message on the move. Send the chauffeur a note when you leave the booth, not when you reach the door. By the time you walk out, the car is pulling in.
- Leave five minutes early or twenty late. If the schedule allows, walk out at 5:50 p.m. or wait until the first wave has gone. Both beat walking out at 6:00 sharp.
- Have the dinner address ready. The first hour after the close is when the Strip is slowest. The chauffeur will usually use roads parallel to the boulevard to reach an off-Strip restaurant or a hotel tower entrance.
The five-hour evening out and event night package, from US$475 in a Business Sedan to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter, covers the exit, a client dinner and the ride back. Arrival and departure days
Many exhibitors and executives arrive on the Sunday or Monday before the show, and Saturday afternoon brings the departure wave as the halls close at 4 p.m. With Elly8.net, Harry Reid International (LAS) to the Strip is fixed at US$125 in a Business Sedan, US$165 in a Business SUV, US$220 in a First Class Sedan and US$325 in an Executive Sprinter, the same price in CES week as in any other week. The chauffeur meets you in baggage claim with a name board; app rides at LAS pick up inside the parking garages, per the airport's taxi and ride share page. Our Las Vegas airport limo guide covers the arrival step by step.
Through December 2026, the airport connector tunnels run with reduced lanes for repaving, which should be finished before CES; check the airport's updates nearer the date. Executives flying privately can arrive at Henderson Executive (HND), US$155 to the Strip in a Business Sedan, or North Las Vegas (VGT), US$125; see private jet and FBO transfers.

Frequently asked questions
What are the CES 2027 dates and exhibit hours?
CES 2027 runs January 6 to 9, 2027. Exhibits open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, according to the official dates and hours page. Media days are January 4 and 5 at Mandalay Bay.
Where do cars drop off at the LVCC during CES?
Only at the S2, C5 and West Hall entrances, per the CES transportation guide. Drivers must stay with their vehicles and no standing or parking is allowed, so a chauffeur stages nearby and pulls in when you are walking out. There is no public parking at the LVCC or the Venetian Expo.
Is there a free shuttle between CES venues?
Yes. The Tech Express (Route 9) runs between the LVCC, from Central Plaza near the Monorail walkway, and the Venetian Expo on Sands Avenue. The C Space Shuttle (Route 7) links both to ARIA from Wednesday to Friday, and select official hotels have complimentary shuttles from January 5 to 9.
How much does a car for CES cost with Elly8.net?
By the hour, from US$95 in a Business Sedan to US$190 in an Executive Sprinter, three-hour minimum. LAS to the Strip is US$125 to US$325, and the five-hour evening package US$475 to US$950. Prices are fixed, all-in with gratuity, and the same in CES week as any other week.
Does the Monorail go to the Venetian Expo?
No. According to CES, the Las Vegas Monorail connects the LVCC and Westgate with several Strip hotels, including Horseshoe and Paris, Flamingo, Harrah's and the LINQ, MGM Grand and Sahara, but not the Venetian Expo. Use the free Tech Express between the LVCC and the Venetian Expo.
How do I avoid the taxi and rideshare lines at 6 p.m.?
Leave a few minutes before the close or wait out the first wave, and have a car staged near your chosen exit. A chauffeur on an hourly or evening booking holds nearby and pulls into the permitted entrance as you walk out, so you skip both the taxi line and the rideshare zone.
