A Toronto Sprinter van rental through Elly8.net is always chauffeured: you book the Executive Sprinter and a professional chauffeur, not a self-drive van. It seats up to 12 passengers with up to 12 bags, and fixed prices start at US$250 from Billy Bishop, US$405 from Toronto Pearson and US$220 an hour as directed, with a 3-hour minimum.
Toronto and the GTA run on the Elly8 fleet and chauffeurs, so the Sprinter that meets your team at Terminal 3 or waits after a Raptors game is our own vehicle, dispatched by the desk that took the booking. This guide covers the rates, the per-person arithmetic, the Toronto trips groups book most and the practical details that decide whether a group day runs on time.
How much does a Sprinter van with driver cost in Toronto?
An Elly8.net Executive Sprinter in Toronto costs US$405 from Pearson to downtown, US$250 from Billy Bishop, US$220 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, US$1,620 for a full day and US$2,025 for the 10-hour Niagara Falls day trip. Every price is fixed, all-in and per vehicle, for up to 12 passengers.
All-in means the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and airport meet and greet are included. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.

One Sprinter or two SUVs?
For groups of seven to twelve, this is the question we answer most often, and the arithmetic is simple. From Pearson to downtown, two business SUVs cost US$410 together and carry up to 12 passengers and 12 bags between them. One Executive Sprinter costs US$405 and carries the same. The price is close; the difference is in how the day runs.
One Sprinter keeps the group together, needs one pickup point, one chauffeur to coordinate and one parking spot outside the venue. Two SUVs are better when the group splits after the airport, for example half to a Yorkville hotel and half to a Mississauga office, or when a pickup point cannot take a tall van. For hourly work, two business SUVs cost US$280 an hour against US$220 for one Sprinter, so on a long day the single van usually wins.
A sample group day in Toronto
Here is how a typical conference arrival day might run for a team of ten in one Sprinter:
- 10:15 a.m. The team lands at Pearson on a tracked flight. The chauffeur waits inside arrivals with a name board and loads twelve bags.
- 11:30 a.m. Drop at a Front Street hotel near the convention centre, with time to check in and change.
- 1:00 p.m. Short hop to the venue's loading area with sample cases, then the van is released or held on an hourly booking.
- 7:00 p.m. Client dinner in Yorkville, collected from the hotel and returned at the end of the night.
Booked as a Pearson transfer plus an evening out and event night package, that day is US$405 plus US$1,100, fixed. Booked entirely by the hour, it would run to more hours than most teams expect, which is why the desk suggests the combination that fits your actual timetable.
Chauffeured Sprinter or self-drive van?
Search for "Sprinter van rental" and you will also find self-drive passenger vans from rental counters. They have their place, and it is fair to say when.
A self-drive van usually costs less on the rental rate alone, and it suits a group that wants a vehicle for several days, has a designated driver who is comfortable with a large van, and is staying somewhere with easy parking.
The chauffeured Sprinter costs more per day and earns it in Toronto's specific conditions. Downtown parking for a van is scarce and expensive, the Gardiner and the 401 are tiring to drive in a vehicle that size, and nobody in the group has to stay off the wine at a Niagara-on-the-Lake lunch or the champagne at a wedding. The chauffeur drops at the door, waits nearby, and brings the van back when you call. Our comparison of a chauffeur vs renting a car goes through the full trade-off.
The Toronto trips groups book a Sprinter for
Team and family arrivals at Pearson. Twelve people and twelve suitcases in one van, met inside arrivals with a name board, is simpler than three cars arriving at different times. The flight is tracked, and complimentary waiting after a tracked landing covers baggage and customs. Billy Bishop works the same way at US$250 a van; the chauffeur meets you on the mainland side at Eireann Quay, where the ferry and the pedestrian tunnel arrive. For a group spread across several flights, the desk can send the Sprinter for the main wave and a sedan for the stragglers. Our guide to booking a limo to YYZ covers the luggage and timing side.
Conventions and trade shows. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre hosts the Canadian International AutoShow from February 12 to 21, 2027, and the PDAC 2027 convention for the mineral exploration industry from March 7 to 10. Exhibitor teams with sample cases and staff moving between hotels, the venue and client dinners are exactly what a Sprinter is for. See conference transportation.
Game nights. Leafs and Raptors games at Scotiabank Arena, Blue Jays games at the Rogers Centre and Toronto FC and Argonauts at BMO Field all empty onto crowded streets. A group in one van, collected from a staging point a short walk from the gate, gets home while others are still waiting for a match on an app. The evening out and event night package covers the drive in, the wait and the drive home. More on sports event transportation.
Niagara Falls and wine country. The signature day trip from Toronto is the 10-hour Niagara Falls package, US$2,025 in a Sprinter. It covers the drive around the western end of Lake Ontario, time at the Falls and along the Niagara Parkway, and a winery or two if you want them; the Niagara Parks site lists attractions along the river. For a Niagara stay, see our Niagara Falls car service and wine tours pages.
Ski and cottage weekends. A Sprinter takes a group and its ski bags to Blue Mountain near Collingwood, or a cottage party north to Muskoka. The fares are on the Collingwood and Blue Mountain and Muskoka pages.
Weddings. The Sprinter carries the wedding party between the hotel, the ceremony and the photo stops while the couple travels in a first class car. See wedding limousine service.
Corporate offsites and site visits. The corporate roadshow day, US$1,980 in a Sprinter, keeps one van and one chauffeur with a team visiting several sites along the 401 corridor or across the GTA.
Booking tips that make a group day work
- Count bags, not just people. Twelve passengers with twelve large suitcases is the limit. Golf bags, ski bags, trade-show cases and strollers take more room; tell us and we will advise whether a second vehicle is needed.
- Name one group lead. The chauffeur and the desk need one mobile number for the group, especially at an arena exit or a hotel lobby.
- Give the exact pickup point. A Sprinter is tall. Many underground hotel garages and condo loading areas have height limits, so tell us if the pickup is below ground and we will agree a street-level point instead.
- List the stops in order. On an hourly booking, the chauffeur plans parking and timing around them. Add buffer time at the Falls and the wineries; groups always take longer than planned.
- Ask for child seats in advance. Give each child's age and weight so the seats are fitted before pickup.
- Plan around Ontario's rules. The chauffeur follows local law on alcohol in vehicles, so the toast happens at the venue, not in the van.
When a Sprinter is not the right vehicle
For three people or fewer, a business sedan is cheaper: US$155 from Pearson against US$405 for the Sprinter. For four to six people with normal luggage, a business SUV at US$205 is usually the better fit, and it is easier to park. For a celebration where the vehicle is part of the event, the web booker also offers stretch limousines, a Jet Sprinter and party buses; see party bus rental. Groups larger than twelve need two vehicles or a coach, and the desk can plan either by phone or email.
If you are unsure, our guide to booking a limo to Toronto has a simple table that matches the vehicle to the trip.
Sprinter days that combine city and sightseeing
Some groups want the city before or after a convention. The private city highlights tour, US$880 in a Sprinter, covers the waterfront, Old Town, Yorkville and Casa Loma in a few hours. For a full day built around your own list, book hourly or the full-day chauffeur at US$1,620. Our Toronto tours guide has sample routes with drive times, and private city tours explains how the day runs.

Frequently asked questions
Can you rent a Sprinter van in Toronto without a driver?
Not through Elly8.net. Every Sprinter we book comes with a professional chauffeur. Self-drive passenger vans are available from rental companies and can be cheaper for multi-day trips, but you handle the driving, parking and navigation. The chauffeured Sprinter is priced per trip or per hour, all-in.
How many people fit in a Toronto Sprinter?
The Executive Sprinter takes up to 12 passengers and up to 12 bags. Bulky items such as golf bags, skis or trade-show cases take more room, so tell the desk when you book. For larger groups, two vehicles or a coach can be arranged.
What does a Sprinter cost from Pearson to downtown Toronto?
US$405 one way and US$770 for a round trip booked together, fixed and all-in for the vehicle. That includes the chauffeur, taxes, standard gratuity and meet and greet inside arrivals. Tolls such as Highway 407, parking and extra waiting are billed at cost.
Is there a minimum booking for an hourly Sprinter?
Yes, 3 hours. At US$220 an hour, the minimum is US$660. For longer days, the full-day chauffeur at US$1,620 or the corporate roadshow day at US$1,980 usually works out better than adding hours one at a time. The minimum applies to hourly bookings only; airport transfers are a single fixed fare.
Can the Sprinter take us to Niagara Falls for the day?
Yes. The 10-hour Niagara Falls day trip is US$2,025 in an Executive Sprinter, covering the drive from Toronto, time at the Falls and the Niagara Parkway, and the drive back. Stops at wineries can be built into the day, and the chauffeur plans parking and timing around them so the group gets home on schedule.
What are the rules on alcohol in the Sprinter?
The chauffeur follows Ontario's rules on alcohol in vehicles, and Elly8.net does not plan drinks in the van. Plan the toast for the wedding venue, the winery or the arena, and let the chauffeur handle the driving there and back, so nobody in the group has to stay sober to get everyone home safely.
