A Palm Springs party bus turns a group night into one plan: a pickup at the rental house, dinner on Palm Canyon Drive, a second stop down the valley and a ride home with the same driver. On Elly8.net, party buses are priced in the web booker for your exact addresses, date and hours, and the fixed-price alternative most groups compare it with is a 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$200 an hour in the Palm Springs area, 3-hour minimum, all-in.
The Coachella Valley is a long string of cities along Interstate 10 and Highway 111, so a night out often covers more ground than visitors expect, and peak season brings festival weekends, tennis fortnights and design week. This guide covers vehicle sizes, prices from the Palm Springs list, a booking timeline, and the checks that keep a celebration free of surprises. Rides in Palm Springs are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much is a party bus in Palm Springs?
On Elly8.net a Palm Springs party bus is priced in the web booker for your route, date and hours, with driver, taxes and standard gratuity included. The fixed-price alternative is a 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$200 an hour (3-hour minimum), or US$1,000 for the five-hour evening out and event night package.
Party buses vary more than any other vehicle class, which is why they are not on fixed city price lists; the booker asks for every address and the hours, and the number it shows is the number you pay, with tolls and parking billed at cost. The SUV and Sprinter prices are on the Palm Springs fares panel.

Every price is per vehicle, never per person, and includes the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity. As arithmetic for comparison only, twelve guests sharing the US$1,000 Sprinter evening pay about US$83 each; six sharing a Business SUV evening at US$625 pay about US$104 each.
Which vehicle fits the group?
| Vehicle | Passengers | Why groups choose it | Think twice when | Priced |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Party bus | up to 12 on our fleet page; larger on request | lighting, sound, perimeter seating; the bus is part of the night | resort driveways and gated communities limit long vehicles | web booker |
| Executive Sprinter | up to 12, with up to 12 bags | cool, high-roof cabin; does the airport run and the night out | you want a club atmosphere on board | fixed list and booker |
| Stretch SUV limousine | up to 16 | the classic look for photos | low seating on longer runs down the valley | web booker |
| Stretch limousine | up to 8 | weddings, proms, a smaller celebration | big groups | web booker |
| Two Business SUVs | up to 6 each | the group can split later | you want everyone together | fixed list and booker |
Many groups land on the Sprinter because the same vehicle can collect everyone from Palm Springs International (PSP) on Friday, run the Saturday night out and do a Joshua Tree day on Sunday. The party bus rental page covers the party bus class in detail, the fleet page lists seats and bags, and black car vs limousine explains the trade-offs of stretch vehicles.
Desert specifics that change the plan
Distance. Downtown Palm Springs to El Paseo in Palm Desert is a real drive, and La Quinta further still; on our routing, PSP to El Paseo is about 13 miles (20 km) and PSP to La Quinta about 23 miles (36 km) on a clear road. A route with stops at both ends of the valley uses hours, so plan stops that are close together or accept the driving time.
Heat. From late spring the afternoons are hot. Choose a vehicle with a cabin that stays cool and keep water on board; a Sprinter's high roof and forward seating suit long afternoon runs.
Gates and driveways. Many rental houses sit in gated communities or have tight drives. Give the exact address and any gate code at booking, and the desk will either send a vehicle that fits or agree a pickup point at the gate.
Resort entrances. Large resorts in Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells and La Quinta have their own porte-cochere rules. The driver uses the guest entrance and stages where the resort allows.
Rules on board. The chauffeur follows California's rules on alcohol in vehicles. Plan the toasts at the venue.
Check the licence: California's CPUC
In California, charter-party carriers, the category that covers limousine charters, are licensed by the California Public Utilities Commission. Its charter-party carriers page uses a wedding limousine charter as an example of covered service, and the CPUC's Transportation Carrier Portal includes a public search for licensed passenger carriers. Before you pay any provider, ask for its carrier authority and look it up. On Elly8.net, rides are operated by licensed, commercially insured local partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network, and partner vehicles are 4 model years or newer.

A planning timeline for peak season
The valley's busiest dates fill vehicles early. For 2027: the Palm Springs International Film Festival runs January 7 to 18, Modernism Week February 11 to 21, the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells February 28 to March 14, Coachella April 9 to 11 and April 16 to 18, and Stagecoach April 23 to 25.
- Three months or more ahead: festival weekends, tennis weekends and large weddings.
- Six to eight weeks ahead: most bachelorette and birthday weekends in season.
- Two weeks ahead: confirm every address, gate code and the two group leads' phone numbers.
- Seventy-two hours ahead: the free-cancellation line.
- On the night: one lead stays in touch with the driver; the desk handles changes.
Festival groups have their own planning questions, covered in our Coachella private driver guide.
Sample plans and budgets
These use only fixed Palm Springs prices; per-head figures are arithmetic for comparison only.
Bachelorette weekend for ten. Friday: an Executive Sprinter from PSP to the rental house, US$325 to downtown Palm Springs (other addresses priced in the booker). Saturday: the Sprinter evening package, US$1,000. Sunday: the private city highlights tour by Sprinter, US$800, past the modernist neighbourhoods and the base of the Aerial Tramway. Total US$2,125, about US$213 each across the weekend.
Birthday dinner for six. A Business SUV on the evening package, US$625, about US$104 each, from the house to dinner on Palm Canyon Drive and a second stop.
Desert wedding. A First Class Sedan for the couple and an Executive Sprinter as the guest shuttle between the hotel, the ceremony and the reception, both on full-day or hourly bookings; see wedding limousine and guest shuttles.
Joshua Tree with friends. The 8-hour Joshua Tree National Park day trip by Sprinter, US$1,475 for up to 12. The National Park Service notes that public transportation to the park is limited, which is why a chauffeured day works so well.

Frequently asked questions
How many people fit on a party bus in Palm Springs?
The party bus class on our fleet page seats up to 12, and larger buses can be requested for your date. An Executive Sprinter also seats up to 12 and a stretch SUV limousine up to 16. Larger groups book two vehicles, which also lets the group split later in the night.
What does a Sprinter cost for a night out in Palm Springs?
US$200 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$1,000 for the five-hour evening out and event night package, per vehicle, all-in. Twelve people sharing the evening package is about US$83 each, as arithmetic for comparison only.
How do I check that a party bus company is licensed?
Ask for its California Public Utilities Commission carrier authority and look it up in the CPUC's Transportation Carrier Portal, which has a public search for licensed passenger carriers. Elly8.net rides are operated by licensed, commercially insured partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network.
Can the bus pick us up at a rental house in a gated community?
Usually, if the vehicle fits the streets and the gate allows it. Give the exact address and the gate code at booking. If a long vehicle cannot get in, the desk agrees a pickup point at the gate or suggests a Sprinter or SUVs instead.
How far ahead should we book for a bachelorette weekend?
Six to eight weeks for most weekends in season, and three months or more for Coachella, Stagecoach, BNP Paribas Open and Modernism Week weekends. Cancellation is free until 72 hours before pickup.
Can we drink on the party bus?
The chauffeur follows California's rules on alcohol in vehicles, and we do not plan nights around drinking on board. Celebrate at the restaurant, the bar or the house; the driver's job is to get everyone between them safely.
