A Muskoka airport limo through Elly8.net meets you at Muskoka Airport (YQA), 1011 Airport Road in Gravenhurst, and drives you to the cottage, resort or marina at a fixed, all-in price for that address, quoted in the web booker before you travel. For time on the ground, a Muskoka chauffeur by the hour starts at US$110 in a business sedan and US$220 in an Executive Sprinter, with a 3-hour minimum, per vehicle.
YQA is not a typical airline airport. It is open 24 hours a day, year-round, and most of its passenger traffic is business aviation, charter flights and, since 15 June 2026, Air Canada's Landline motorcoach connection to Toronto Pearson. This guide covers each kind of arrival, then waiting, luggage and price.
How does a pickup at Muskoka Airport work?
Send us the aircraft operator, tail number and arrival time, or your Landline details. The chauffeur tracks the arrival, waits at the agreed door with a name board, loads the bags and drives you to your Muskoka address. The fare is fixed for that address when you book, all-in, with complimentary waiting after a tracked arrival.
Rides in Muskoka are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.

YQA in brief
The facts below come from the District of Muskoka's Muskoka Airport page and its airport services page.
| Item | What the airport publishes |
|---|---|
| Address | 1011 Airport Road, Gravenhurst, Ontario P1P 1R1 |
| Hours | open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round |
| Runway | 18/36, 1,829 m by 45.7 m (6,000 ft by 150 ft), asphalt |
| Fuel | Jet A-1 and Avgas (100LL), with a mobile refuelling truck |
| FBO handling | Handling Request at least 48 hours before arrival |
| Customs | official airport of entry; CBSA service from the Pearson office |
| Terminal | pilot's lounge open 24 hours, passenger waiting area, car rental desk |
The terminal is small, which helps: the walk from the apron or the arrivals door to the car is short.
Private and charter aircraft: step by step
1. Before the flight. Book with the operator name, tail number, estimated arrival time, passenger count and bags, including golf bags, fishing gear or anything oversized. The airport asks aircraft needing FBO services to submit a Handling Request at least 48 hours before arrival, and it is worth booking the car at the same time.
2. Customs, if you are arriving from outside Canada. YQA is an official Canada Customs airport of entry, served by the Canada Border Services Agency office at Pearson. The airport says flights with no more than 15 people on board can be cleared with at least two hours' notice before arrival, and that arriving flights go to the Public Apron for clearance, where officers meet them or clearance is given by telephone. It lists CBSA summer hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week, from 15 June to 17 September. Under the CANPASS private aircraft programme, pre-approved travellers on aircraft with no more than 15 people, including crew, can report to CBSA by telephone before landing. The chauffeur waits until you are cleared.
3. The meet. The chauffeur waits at the door agreed with the airport and the operator, with a name board, and loads the bags. If the line crew permits it, bags can be transferred close to the aircraft.
4. Waiting. The arrival is tracked, and there is complimentary waiting after a tracked arrival, so a headwind or a customs call does not cost anything. Waiting beyond the included time is billed at cost.
5. The drive. From the airport near Gravenhurst, the chauffeur heads to your cottage, resort or marina. Give the full civic address, the road or fire-route number, gate codes and dock details.
Our private jet and FBO car service page explains how aircraft meets work across the network, and meet and greet describes the name-board service.
Arriving on the Landline coach
The YQA airlines and flight services page describes the Air Canada Landline service that started on 15 June 2026: a premium motorcoach between Muskoka Airport and Toronto Pearson, booked under one Air Canada itinerary. Northbound, you collect your bags at Pearson, go to the Ground Level, follow signs for Ground Transportation, and an Air Canada agent escorts you to the coach and loads your luggage. Aeroplan points are earned on both segments, and the airport notes travel protection if the coach or the flight is delayed.
Southbound, you check in and tag bags at YQA and ride the coach to Pearson. The airport's published schedule lists early-morning and afternoon departures from YQA to Pearson, with the winter schedule under review, so confirm times with Air Canada or Landline before you plan. Free parking at Muskoka Airport for Landline passengers runs until 31 December 2026.
For a Landline arrival, the chauffeur's job is the last leg: from YQA to the cottage or resort. For a Landline departure, we time the pickup from your address to the coach's check-in, with margin for country roads and weather. If you would rather skip the coach and go door to door from Pearson, read our Pearson to Muskoka car service guide; fares start at US$430 in a business sedan to Bracebridge and the lakes.
Float planes and dock arrivals
Some guests arrive by float plane at a marina or a private dock rather than at YQA. The process is the same: give the exact location, the operator and the estimated time, and the chauffeur meets you there. Marina parking and access differ by site, so include any instructions from the marina when you book.
Wait times: what to expect
Your wait for the car. None, if you book ahead: the vehicle is assigned before the day and the chauffeur is on site before your tracked arrival.
The car's wait for you. Complimentary after a tracked arrival. For customs clearance, a late departure from the origin airport or a slow baggage transfer, the chauffeur adjusts. Waiting beyond the included time is billed at cost, and the desk tells you before it applies.
The alternative. The airport's services page lists three local taxi companies and a car rental desk in the terminal. A taxi called on arrival is a reasonable option for one or two people with light bags, but it depends on a car being free nearby, and in Muskoka distances between towns are long. Our Muskoka taxi or rideshare guide compares the options in more detail.
Departures: getting back to the aircraft
The return is planned the same way in reverse. Tell the desk the wheels-up time and whether the crew wants passengers on board early, and we work back from the drive between your address and the airport, the season and the day of the week. A cottage on a long private road off a lake in the Township of Muskoka Lakes is a different drive from a resort in Gravenhurst, and a Sunday afternoon in July is different from a Wednesday in March. The chauffeur loads the bags at the cottage and unloads at the agreed door at YQA.
The seasons at YQA
Summer. The busiest months, when cottage owners, resort guests and wedding parties fly in. Book the car when you file the Handling Request, and earlier for long weekends.
Fall. Colour season in late September and early October brings weekend visitors and corporate retreats. Country roads are busy with day-trippers on fine weekends.
Winter. The airport stays open, and snow belts north of Barrie make the roads slower. The chauffeur allows for it, and the fare for your address does not change with the weather.
Flat rates: how the price is set
Elly8.net's published Muskoka fares are from Toronto Pearson to Bracebridge and the lakes. A YQA pickup is priced by the web booker for your exact drop-off address, and the quote is fixed and all-in: chauffeur, vehicle, taxes and standard gratuity, per vehicle. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the included time are billed at cost.
If you need the car for more than a transfer, these published Muskoka prices apply:
| Muskoka package | Business Sedan | Business SUV / Van | First Class SUV | First Class Sedan | Executive Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| By the hour, 3-hour minimum | US$110 | US$140 | US$165 | US$180 | US$220 |
| Private highlights tour | US$440 | US$560 | US$660 | US$720 | US$880 |
| Evening out and event night | US$550 | US$700 | US$825 | US$900 | US$1,100 |
| Full-day chauffeur | US$810 | US$1,035 | US$1,215 | US$1,325 | US$1,620 |
| Corporate roadshow day | US$990 | US$1,260 | US$1,485 | US$1,620 | US$1,980 |
A common pattern for a business aircraft: the transfer from YQA to a resort, then an hourly booking for meetings at two or three venues, then the transfer back to the aircraft. The roadshow day from US$990 suits a visiting team touring resort venues for a retreat.
Which vehicle for a private arrival
Capacities are from our fleet page.
- Business Sedan or First Class Sedan: up to 3 passengers and 2 bags. Right for a principal and one guest with light luggage.
- Business SUV or First Class SUV: up to 6 passengers and 6 bags. The usual choice for a family arriving for a cottage week.
- Executive Sprinter: up to 12 passengers and 12 bags. For a full aircraft, a wedding party or a corporate group.
- Two vehicles: for passengers plus a lot of equipment, or a group heading to different addresses.
Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer. NDAs are available on request for confidential arrivals, and companies can bill every transfer to a corporate account with monthly invoicing; see corporate car service.
Where guests go from YQA
Gravenhurst is at the south end of Lake Muskoka, so YQA is well placed for most of the district. Taboo Muskoka on Muskoka Beach Road in Gravenhurst is close by; Bracebridge is to the north; Port Carling and the Lake Rosseau and Lake Joseph shores are in the Township of Muskoka Lakes; Huntsville and Deerhurst are further north. Each is priced to the address in the booker.
For weddings and events at the lakes, see wedding limousine service and group transportation. From Muskoka, Collingwood and Blue Mountain is the other Ontario resort region we serve, and Toronto is the run south.
A final note for crews and flight departments: the desk can hold a standing arrangement for a regular aircraft, with the same meeting point, the same vehicle class and the same principal profile each time, so a repeat arrival needs only the date and time.
How booking works
