Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Paris is about 43 km (27 mi) by road, roughly 45 minutes on a clear road, because the resort at Marne-la-Vallée lies east of Paris and the drive skirts the city rather than crossing it. A private car is the most direct way to make the trip with children and luggage: the chauffeur tracks your flight, waits in your terminal hall with a name board, has child seats fitted if you asked for them, and drives you to the door of your hotel for a fixed price agreed before you fly.
Elly8.net quotes the CDG to Disneyland Paris fare in the web booker before you pay, in US$, per vehicle and all-in. For a sense of scale, our published fares from CDG to central Paris start at US$170 in a business sedan, US$225 in a business SUV and US$445 in an Executive Sprinter.
How long does it take to get from CDG to Disneyland Paris?
The drive from Charles de Gaulle to Disneyland Paris is about 43 km (27 mi) and takes around 45 minutes on a clear road. On weekday mornings and Friday evenings the motorways east of Paris are busy, so plan on an hour or more. Allow extra time for passport control after a transatlantic arrival.
The route stays on the motorways around the east of Paris, so it avoids the Boulevard Périphérique and the city centre. That is why the drive from CDG is often quicker than the trip from central Paris, which is about 45 km (28 mi) from the 8th arrondissement and around 55 minutes on a clear road. From Paris-Orly, the resort is about 48 km (30 mi), roughly 47 minutes.
The timing that matters most is the arrival itself. Transatlantic flights from North America tend to land at CDG in the early morning, when passport control can be slow. Waiting is complimentary after a tracked landing, which covers the normal queue, and the chauffeur adjusts to the time you actually come through.
Where your chauffeur meets you at CDG
Charles de Gaulle is spread across Terminal 1, the long Terminal 2 complex with halls 2A to 2G, and Terminal 3, and the walk between halls in Terminal 2 can be long. With your flight number, the chauffeur checks which terminal and hall your flight uses, tracks the landing, and waits in the right arrivals area with a name board once you have cleared passport control and collected your bags.
What families should know:
- Book with the flight number. If your flight is moved to a different hall or lands early, the chauffeur follows it.
- Give a mobile number with the country code. The chauffeur can reach you if you are delayed at baggage claim.
- Tell the desk about prams and car seats. Child seats are available on request; add the number and type when you book, and they are fitted before you reach the car.
- Keep the desk number handy. If immigration is slow, message the 24/7 desk and the car keeps waiting.
For more on how the meeting works inside the terminal, see airport meet and greet and our Paris airport transfers page.
How the fixed fare works, and which vehicle to choose
Every Elly8.net fare is fixed and all-in per vehicle. It covers the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes, standard gratuity and the airport meet and greet. Motorway tolls and parking are billed at cost, and so is waiting beyond the included time. The price is charged in US$, which many North American families prefer to paying in euros at the end of a long flight.
Enter CDG with your flight number and your Disneyland Paris hotel as the drop-off in the web booker, and it shows the fixed price for each vehicle before you book. These are the vehicles, with the capacities from our fleet page and the published CDG to central Paris fares for reference:
| Vehicle | Passengers | Large bags | CDG to central Paris (reference) | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business sedan | up to 3 | 2 | from US$170 | Couples, a parent with one child |
| Business SUV / van | up to 6 | 6 | from US$225 | Families of four or five with a pram |
| First Class SUV | up to 6 | 6 | from US$275 | Families who want a premium vehicle |
| First Class sedan | up to 3 | 2 | from US$300 | Couples on a special trip |
| Executive Sprinter | up to 12 | 12 | from US$445 | Two families or grandparents and cousins together |
For most families, the business SUV or van is the right choice. A family of four with four suitcases, a pram and two car seats does not fit in a sedan, and a second car costs more than the step up. For a larger party, the Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 with their bags in one vehicle.
Private car vs train vs coach vs taxi
There are several ways from CDG to Disneyland Paris, and for some travellers they are the better choice. Be honest about your group and your bags.
| Option | Price | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rail | Train fare per person | Depends on connections and timetables | Light travellers who know the route |
| Shared resort coach or shuttle | Per person | Fixed timetable, with stops | One or two travellers with time |
| Official Paris taxi from the rank | Not covered by the Paris flat fares | About 45 minutes or more | Spontaneous trips with no booking |
| Elly8.net private car | Fixed fare quoted before you pay | About 45 minutes, door to door | Families, prams, child seats, early arrivals |
Rail. The resort is well served by rail: Visit Paris Region, the official regional tourism site, describes Disneyland Paris as just 35 minutes from Paris on the RER A. From CDG itself, check current routes and timetables before you travel; with a family, connections and station stairs are the main drawback.
Coaches and shuttles run on a timetable and charge per person. For one or two travellers they can be good value; for a family of five with bags, the per-person fares add up, and the timetable may not match an early landing.
Taxis. Paris taxis at the airport ranks charge regulated flat fares for trips into Paris itself, with one price for the Right Bank and another for the Left Bank. Disneyland Paris is outside the city, so those flat fares do not cover it. A taxi is reliable, but you will not know the final fare until you arrive, and child seats are not something to count on.
A private car wins for families with young children, for groups and luggage, for very early arrivals when you just want to get to the hotel, and for anyone who wants the price settled before leaving home. Our comparisons of chauffeur vs taxi and chauffeur vs shared airport shuttle go into more detail.
Arriving at the resort
Disneyland Paris is at Marne-la-Vallée, in the town of Chessy, east of Paris. Visit Paris Region lists two parks, Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, which replaced Walt Disney Studios from 29 March 2026, and seven themed hotels at the resort, as well as many hotels nearby.
When you book, give the exact hotel name, because the resort hotels and the partner hotels around Marne-la-Vallée are spread out. The chauffeur drops you at the hotel entrance and unloads the bags. If you arrive before check-in time, many families leave the bags at the hotel and walk to the parks; plan the arrival time with that in mind.
Combining Disneyland with Paris
Most North American families combine a few days at the resort with a stay in Paris, and a private car makes the transfer between them simple.
Disneyland to Paris. About 45 km (28 mi) to the 8th arrondissement, around 55 minutes on a clear road and longer at peak. The web booker gives a fixed price to any Paris address.
Paris to Disneyland for the day. For a day trip from a Paris hotel, a full-day chauffeur starts at US$665 in a business sedan, US$850 in a business SUV and US$1,325 in an Executive Sprinter, or book by the hour from US$90 with a 3-hour minimum. Two one-way rides, morning and evening, are often better value than a car waiting all day.
Paris itself. Our private city highlights tour starts at US$360 in a business sedan and US$720 in an Executive Sprinter. See private city tours and the full Paris chauffeur and airport transfers page.
Champagne. The signature Paris day trip is a 10-hour day in the Champagne houses of Reims and Épernay, from US$830 in a business sedan to US$1,660 in an Executive Sprinter. The official Reims tourism office and Épernay tourism office list the houses that welcome visitors.
Onward cities. Many families continue to London or Brussels, where the same booking system and fixed fares apply; for long one-way drives, see city to city car service.
Going back to CDG
The return to the airport needs more margin than the arrival, because flights do not wait and the motorways around Paris are unpredictable. For a long-haul flight from CDG, leave the resort three and a half to four hours before departure; for a flight within Europe, three hours. Give the desk your departure terminal, and the chauffeur drops you at the right door.
If you are flying from Orly instead, the drive is similar, about 48 km (30 mi). Published fares from Orly and Le Bourget to central Paris start at US$135.
The same trip in California
Many of the same families also visit the original resort. Our guide to the LAX to Disneyland car service covers drive times, airports and child seats in Southern California, and the LAX chauffeur service guide explains how luggage and meet and greet work there.
