A Whistler party bus on Elly8.net is priced in the web booker for your exact pickup, hours and date, all-in with the driver, taxes and standard gratuity. If you want a fixed number before you start, the closest option on the Whistler price list is the 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$220 an hour with a three-hour minimum, or US$1,100 for the five-hour evening out and event night block, per vehicle.
Two questions decide the booking: how many people will ride, and for how many hours. Get those right and the price follows. This guide answers both for the kinds of nights Whistler groups actually plan, then covers the British Columbia rules that apply to party buses, which are stricter than many visitors expect. Rides in Whistler are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much does a party bus cost in Whistler?
On Elly8.net a Whistler party bus is quoted in the web booker for your route, date and hours, with the driver, taxes and standard gratuity included. The fixed-price alternative is a 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$220 an hour, three-hour minimum, or US$1,100 for the five-hour evening block, per vehicle.
Party buses are not on the fixed Whistler price list because the vehicles differ in layout, sound and lighting from one partner to the next, and a festival Saturday is a different job from a quiet Tuesday. The sedans, SUVs and Sprinter are on the list, so their prices are known in advance.

How many people: choosing the size
Count the people who will ride, not the people invited. Capacities are from our fleet page.
| Group size | Vehicle | Seats | How it is priced |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 to 3 | Business Sedan or First Class Sedan | 3 | fixed price list |
| 4 to 6 | Business SUV or First Class SUV | 6 | fixed price list |
| 7 to 8 | Stretch Limousine | 8 | web booker |
| 9 to 12 | Executive Sprinter or Party Bus | 12 | Sprinter fixed; party bus in the web booker |
| 13 to 16 | Stretch SUV Limousine | 16 | web booker |
| 17 and up | two or more vehicles | varies | web booker and desk |
Party bus or Sprinter? Both seat 12. The party bus has perimeter seating, lighting and sound, so the ride is part of the night. The Executive Sprinter has forward-facing seats and room for 12 bags, which makes it the better choice when the same group also needs an airport run, a trip with ski gear or a calm ride home after a long dinner. Many Whistler groups book the Sprinter for the YVR transfer and keep it for the evening. Our party bus rental and Sprinter van with driver pages compare the two.
Ten people or thirteen? If the number might creep above 12, book a Business SUV as a second vehicle rather than hoping. Seats are seats.
How many hours: matching the plan to the clock
Hourly bookings have a three-hour minimum. The evening out and event night package is a fixed five-hour block. Here is how typical Whistler nights map onto those:
| Plan | Hours | Executive Sprinter | Divided by 12, for comparison only | Business SUV | Divided by 6, for comparison only |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dinner outside the village and back | 3 | US$660 | US$55 | US$420 | US$70 |
| Dinner, then a second venue | 4 | US$880 | about US$73 | US$560 | about US$93 |
| Full evening: drinks, dinner, late venue | 5 (evening block) | US$1,100 | about US$92 | US$700 | about US$117 |
| Afternoon in Squamish plus dinner | 6 | US$1,320 | US$110 | US$840 | US$140 |
| Wedding day or full-day celebration | full day | US$1,620 | US$135 | US$1,035 | US$172.50 |
The hourly rows are the published hourly rates multiplied out; the evening block and full day are fixed packages. Every price is per vehicle, never per person; the divided columns are arithmetic so a group can see the split. Time beyond the booked hours is billed at the hourly rate, and tolls and parking at cost.
Most groups underestimate time at the start and end of the night: gathering 12 people from three hotels, the walk from the village stroll to the vehicle, and the last venue running late. Add an hour to your first estimate, or take the five-hour block.
British Columbia's rules for party buses
This is the part that changes plans, so read it before you book.
The safety monitor rule for under-19s. British Columbia's Passenger Transportation Board defines a perimeter seating bus as a vehicle with perimeter seating for 12 or more passengers, naming limos, party buses and stretch SUVs as examples. Its safety monitor page says a safety monitor must be on board when unaccompanied minors ride, a minor being anyone under 19, and that legal guardians must consent. The monitor must be at least 25, must not be the driver, must have current training and a background check, and must be employed or retained by the licensed operator. If anyone in the group is under 19 and no parent or guardian is riding, tell the desk at booking so a qualified monitor is assigned, or book a forward-seating Executive Sprinter instead. For graduation nights, see prom limousine.
What operators must tell you. The Board's Rule 18 for limousine rates lets licensed operators add certain charges only if they tell you at the time of the agreement, including meet and greet fees, decoration fees, clean-up fees, standby rates and a per-kilometre charge from the company's base. It also says a licensee must not request or require tips. Elly8.net prices are all-in: chauffeur, vehicle, taxes and standard gratuity, with tolls, parking and extra waiting billed at cost.
The hourly rate band. Under the Board's Rule 19, licensed limousine operators in British Columbia charge within set hourly bands, before GST: for example, at least C$150 an hour for a stretch SUV and C$175 an hour for a limo bus of 17 or more seats. Those are Canadian-dollar floors for local operators; Elly8.net's published rates are in US dollars with taxes and gratuity included, so compare totals.
Alcohol. Rules on alcohol in vehicles differ by province and vehicle licence. The chauffeur follows local rules, and our bookings do not include drinking in the vehicle. Plan the celebrating for the restaurant, the bar or the venue.
Whistler logistics that affect the night
Pickup points. Whistler Village is built around a pedestrian stroll, so vehicles stop at hotel driveways and roads at the edge of the village. For a group spread across hotels, choose one meeting point and give the desk the hotel names; the chauffeur confirms the exact spot.
Creekside and the Upper Village. Hotels at the base of Blackcomb in the Upper Village and at Whistler Creekside, south of the main village, add a few minutes to each pickup. Include every address when you book.
Winter roads. A night out in January can include snow on the valley roads. The vehicle meets British Columbia's winter tire rules, and the chauffeur sets the pace.
Nights that fill up first
Book early for the resort's busiest weeks:
- Whistler Film Festival, listed by Tourism Whistler for December 2 to 6, 2026, with premieres, panels and parties across the village.
- The holidays and New Year, when every vehicle class goes early.
- Whistler Cornucopia, the food and drink festival, usually in November, with tastings and dinners that suit a five-hour evening block.
- Crankworx Whistler, the mountain bike festival, from July 16 to 25, 2027.
- Summer wedding weekends, when guest shuttles and party vehicles book months ahead; see wedding limousine and guest shuttles.
A sample bachelor or bachelorette weekend for 12
- Friday: the group lands at YVR across the afternoon. One Executive Sprinter collects the main cluster at a fixed US$965, with a Business SUV for a late flight at US$485.
- Saturday: skiing or biking by day, then the five-hour evening block in the Sprinter, US$1,100, for dinner and two venues. About US$92 each, as arithmetic.
- Sunday: the Sprinter back to YVR at US$965, with the pickup set well ahead of the flights. Our Whistler airport transfer guide explains the timing.
Prefer a party bus with lighting and sound for Saturday? It is priced in the web booker for the same hours. Groups coming from Vancouver first can see our Vancouver to Whistler comparison. If the same group is also celebrating back east, our Niagara Falls party bus guide covers Ontario's very different setting.
Corporate nights and team events
Sales kick-offs and leadership retreats often end with a group dinner outside the village. An Executive Sprinter, or a Sprinter plus SUVs, keeps the team together and on time. A corporate account adds monthly invoicing and NDAs on request; see group transportation and event transportation.
A five-point check before you pay anyone
- The seat count with belts, not the brochure capacity. Twelve seats means twelve people.
- The total, in writing. Ask whether taxes, gratuity, meet and greet, decoration and clean-up are included. Under Rule 18, extras must be disclosed at the time of the agreement.
- When the clock starts. Some operators charge from their base; the Board's rules require them to tell you where the hourly rate is calculated from.
- The under-19 question. If anyone riding is under 19 without a guardian, confirm in writing that a qualified safety monitor is assigned.
- The cancellation terms. Ours are free more than 72 hours out, then 10%, 50% and 100% as the night gets closer.
How to book
- Enter the pickup, the stops and the hours, or the YVR flight numbers for airport legs.
- Choose the vehicle from the size table above. The Sprinter and SUVs show fixed prices; the party bus and stretch vehicles are priced in the web booker.
- Reserve now or use the web booker, and tell the desk if anyone riding is under 19. Confirmation arrives by email.
Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup; 72 hours or less is 10%, 48 hours or less is 50%, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100%, refunded to the original card. All prices are on all prices and packages.

Frequently asked questions
How many people fit on a Whistler party bus?
The party bus class on our fleet page seats up to 12, as does the Executive Sprinter. A stretch SUV limousine takes up to 16, and larger groups book two vehicles. Count the people who will actually ride, and add a Business SUV if the number might grow.
How many hours should we book?
Three hours covers a dinner outside the village and back; that is also the minimum. Four suits dinner and a second venue. For a full evening, the five-hour evening block is US$1,100 in an Executive Sprinter or US$700 in a Business SUV, per vehicle, all-in.
Do we need a safety monitor in British Columbia?
Only if unaccompanied minors ride a perimeter-seating bus. The Passenger Transportation Board says a minor is anyone under 19, guardians must consent, and the monitor must be at least 25, trained, background-checked and not the driver. Tell the desk at booking, or choose a forward-seating Sprinter.
Is the price per person?
No. Every Elly8.net price is per vehicle. Five hours in an Executive Sprinter is US$1,100 whether 6 or 12 people ride. Dividing by the group gives about US$92 each for 12, which is arithmetic for comparison only. The booking is one fixed fare for the vehicle, with taxes and standard gratuity already included.
Can we drink on the party bus?
Our bookings do not include drinking in the vehicle. Rules on alcohol differ by province and vehicle licence, and the chauffeur follows local rules. Plan the celebrating for the venues and use the vehicle to move the group safely between them.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, refunded to the original card. Headcount changes are easiest more than a week before the night.
