A Vancouver wedding limo booking is really a transport plan for the day: a car for the couple, something for the wedding party, and often a shuttle for guests between hotels, the ceremony and the reception. With Elly8.net, a First Class Sedan for the couple is US$180 per hour and an Executive Sprinter for up to 12 is US$220 per hour, each with a 3-hour minimum, and a full day with one chauffeur runs from US$1,325 in a First Class Sedan. Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Maybach cars are quoted in the web booker for your date.
What makes Vancouver different is the venues. Many couples marry in a city park or garden, cross a bridge for photos, and hold the reception in a hotel downtown or on the North Shore, and every one of those legs has its own timing. The Elly8.net desk plans these days often, and the timeline below is the one we start from.
How many cars does a Vancouver wedding need?
Most Vancouver weddings use two or three vehicles: one car for the couple (a First Class Sedan at US$180 per hour, or a Rolls-Royce or Maybach quoted in the booker), an Executive Sprinter for up to 12 in the wedding party at US$220 per hour, and a second Sprinter or more for guests when hotels and venues are far apart.
Count heads by leg, not for the whole day. The bridal party may need two pickups in the morning, a single vehicle to the ceremony, and a separate car for the couple after the vows. Guests usually need just two runs: hotel to ceremony, and reception to hotel at the end of the night. Prices are per vehicle, never per person, so a full Sprinter is the most economical way to move a group.

Vehicle choices for each part of the day
| Vehicle | Seats / bags | Best use on the day | Price basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| First Class Sedan | 3 / 2 | The couple, parents of the couple | US$180/h, 3-hour minimum |
| First Class SUV | 6 / 6 | Couple plus dress and photographer, or immediate family | US$165/h, 3-hour minimum |
| Executive Sprinter | 12 / 12 | Wedding party, guest shuttle, Whistler or winery weddings | US$220/h, 3-hour minimum |
| Rolls-Royce or Mercedes-Maybach | 2 / 2 | The couple's arrival and exit | Web booker |
| Stretch limousine | 8 / 2 | Classic wedding party photos and arrival | Web booker |
| Stretch SUV limousine | 16 / 2 | A large wedding party together | Web booker |
Seat counts are from our fleet page. A few practical notes from the desk:
- Dresses take space. A full gown in a sedan's back seat leaves room for one more person, not two. If the couple want the photographer or a parent along, choose the First Class SUV.
- Stretch vehicles are long. Gastown's cobbled streets, Stanley Park's park roads and many West End side streets are tight for a stretch limousine. A Sprinter or SUV gets closer to the door.
- Groups with under-19s. British Columbia's Passenger Transportation Board requires a safety monitor on vehicles with perimeter seating for 12 or more when unaccompanied minors are aboard, as its safety monitor rule explains. Children riding with a parent are accompanied; a car full of teenage cousins without a parent is not. Tell the desk who is riding.
A day-of timeline that works
Here is a typical Saturday plan for a 4 p.m. ceremony in a city park with a downtown hotel reception. Adjust it to your schedule; the gaps are the point.
- 11:00 a.m. Executive Sprinter collects the wedding party from two addresses for hair and makeup at the hotel.
- 2:45 p.m. First Class Sedan or Rolls-Royce collects the couple, or one partner, for the ceremony. Leave 15 minutes more than the map says on a summer Saturday.
- 3:00 p.m. Sprinter runs the wedding party to the ceremony site, arriving 30 minutes early.
- 3:15 p.m. Guest shuttle Sprinter leaves the hotel for the ceremony.
- 4:00 p.m. Ceremony.
- 4:45 p.m. Couple's car to the photo locations, with the photographer following or riding in an SUV.
- 5:30 p.m. Guest shuttle back to the reception venue.
- 6:30 p.m. Couple arrives at the reception. The couple's car can be released here, or kept for the grand exit.
- 11:30 p.m. Guest shuttle runs from the reception to one or two hotels.
Book the couple's car for a block that covers the ceremony, photos and arrival at the reception, and add the grand exit as a second short booking if you want it. That usually costs less than holding a car through dinner.
Park and garden ceremonies: what the City asks
The City of Vancouver's weddings in parks page sets out the rules for outdoor ceremonies. A park wedding ceremony permit is needed to hold a wedding at one of the designated sites, and it covers an archway, canopies and a limited number of chairs. In Stanley Park, weddings may only be held at the designated sites, and beach weddings are only allowed at designated sites too. The City's 2026 booking season ran from March 1 to September 30, so check the page for the 2027 dates before you set yours.
The same page currently warns that ongoing construction in Stanley Park may cause delays and limited parking. That affects the transport plan directly: build in extra time for the ceremony arrival and the guest shuttle, and agree a drop-off point with the desk before the day.
The City lists popular wedding venues in its parks, including the Celebration Pavilion and the Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park, the VanDusen Botanical Garden, the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Chinatown, and reception venues in Stanley Park such as the Stanley Park Pavilion, the Teahouse, Prospect Point and the Vancouver Rowing Club. The City notes that the Bloedel Conservatory sits atop the highest point of the city; for groups heading up to Queen Elizabeth Park, a Sprinter is the practical choice.
Photo stops and the clock
The photo hour is where wedding car bookings run over. Vancouver's classic backdrops, the Stanley Park seawall viewpoints, English Bay, Gastown's brick streets, the Coal Harbour waterfront and the North Shore views from across the water, are spread out, and the Lions Gate Bridge links Stanley Park with the North Shore. Pick two locations close together rather than four across the city.
Tell the desk your photo plan when you book. The chauffeur drives the order that avoids backtracking and waits at each stop, and anything beyond the booked time is billed at cost. For a long day with many stops, a full-day chauffeur, from US$1,325 in a First Class Sedan or US$1,620 in an Executive Sprinter, removes the need to watch the clock.
Guests flying in through YVR
Many Vancouver weddings have guests arriving from across Canada and overseas the day before. Elly8.net fares from YVR to downtown Vancouver start at US$110 in a Business Sedan, US$145 in a Business SUV and US$290 in an Executive Sprinter, fixed and all-in, with meet and greet inside arrivals and flight tracking. For a family group on several flights, YVR recommends basing a group pickup on the latest arrival; our post on Vancouver airport shuttle options explains how that works, and when the Canada Line is the simpler answer for a solo guest.
Guests driving up from Washington can use our guide to Seattle to Vancouver by private car, which covers the border crossings and the documents each passenger needs.
Whistler, winery and North Shore weddings
Destination weddings up the Sea-to-Sky Highway are common. The Elly8.net YVR to Whistler Village fare is US$370 in a Business Sedan to US$965 in an Executive Sprinter, and the 10-hour Sea-to-Sky day trip from Vancouver starts at US$1,015. In winter the vehicle must meet British Columbia's winter tire rules on the signed highway, and the desk checks road conditions before mountain departures. See Whistler car service.
North Shore estates and venues mean a bridge crossing for every guest run, so allow for the Lions Gate or Ironworkers Memorial bridges at the evening peak. For receptions in wine country, see Kelowna for the Okanagan, and for island weddings, Victoria.
Typical costs
These examples use published Elly8.net hourly rates, per vehicle, all-in. Your quote depends on exact times and addresses.
| Plan | Vehicles and hours | Arithmetic from published rates |
|---|---|---|
| Small wedding, couple only | First Class Sedan, 3 hours | 3 x US$180 = US$540 |
| Couple plus wedding party | First Class Sedan 3 hours + Executive Sprinter 4 hours | US$540 + US$880 = US$1,420 |
| Full day with guest shuttle | First Class Sedan full day + 2 Executive Sprinters, 4 hours each | US$1,325 + US$1,760 = US$3,085 |
Prices include the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes and standard gratuity. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the booked time are billed at cost. Rolls-Royce, Maybach, stretch limousine and stretch SUV bookings are quoted in the web booker. Rides in Vancouver are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer, or seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley.
Questions to ask before signing
- What vehicle, exactly, and how many seats with a gown on board?
- When does the clock start, and what is the overtime rate?
- Is the price per vehicle or per person? British Columbia lets limousine operators charge either way, and the Passenger Transportation Board requires them to tell you the rates before the trip. Elly8.net prices are per vehicle.
- Who confirms the ceremony drop-off point and the photo stops?
- What is the cancellation policy? Ours: free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, 100% at 24 hours or less or a no-show, refunded to the original card.
How to book
- Enter each pickup and drop-off in the web booker, or one booking per vehicle, with the times above.
- Choose the vehicles and list passengers, ages of any children, and photo stops in the notes.
- Reserve. The desk confirms the plan and sends confirmation by email, with chauffeur details before the day.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a wedding limo cost in Vancouver?
On Elly8.net, a First Class Sedan is US$180 per hour and an Executive Sprinter US$220 per hour, each with a 3-hour minimum, and a First Class Sedan full day is US$1,325. Rolls-Royce, Maybach and stretch limousines are quoted in the web booker. All prices are per vehicle and include the standard gratuity.
How early should we book wedding cars?
For Saturdays from May to September, book as soon as the date and venues are fixed, ideally several months ahead. Rolls-Royce and stretch vehicles are limited. Other days and months usually need less notice. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup.
Can a limo drive into Stanley Park for the ceremony?
Cars can use Stanley Park's roads, but the City currently warns of construction delays and limited parking, and ceremonies must be at designated sites with a permit. The chauffeur drops you at the closest practical point to your site, so share the permit details and site name when you book.
Do we need a guest shuttle?
If guests are staying at more than one hotel, or the reception is a drive from the ceremony, a Sprinter shuttle keeps everyone on time and avoids a curb full of app rides at the end of the night. An Executive Sprinter seats 12 at US$220 per hour. Tell us the hotels and the reception address when you book so the quote covers both runs.
Can the couple's car wait through the reception?
Yes, but it is usually cheaper to release it after you arrive and book a short second slot for the grand exit. Waiting through dinner adds hours. The desk will price both ways so you can choose. Keep the couple's phone handy so the chauffeur can confirm the timing.
What if the ceremony runs late?
The chauffeur waits, and extra time beyond the booking is billed at cost. Tell the desk on the day if timings shift, and we adjust the guest shuttle so nobody is left at the venue. A planner or best man with the chauffeur's number makes this easy.
