A Fort Worth party bus night usually has a western accent. Groups head for the Stockyards to catch the cattle drive, the rodeo at Cowtown Coliseum or a show at Billy Bob's Texas, then finish at a downtown bar around Sundance Square or along West 7th. Others are built around a concert at Dickies Arena, a race weekend at Texas Motor Speedway or a bachelorette that spans Fort Worth and Dallas. In every version, the hard part is not getting there but getting everyone home together.
For up to 12 guests, the fixed-price choice on Elly8.net's Fort Worth list is the Executive Sprinter, at US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$950 for the 5-hour Evening out & event night, per vehicle, including the chauffeur, taxes and a standard gratuity. Party buses with perimeter seating and stretch SUV limousines are quoted for your date in the web booker. This guide covers sizing, hours, costs and the questions that prevent surprises.
Which party vehicle fits your Fort Worth group?
For up to 6, a business SUV. For 7 to 12, an Executive Sprinter, or a party bus if the ride itself is the party. For up to 16, a stretch SUV limousine. For larger groups, two vehicles under one booking. Every guest needs a seat with a belt, so book for the final head count.
Seat numbers below come from the Elly8.net fleet page. A party bus and a Sprinter both seat 12, but they feel very different: perimeter seating, lights and sound on the bus; forward-facing seats and room for 12 bags in the Sprinter. In Fort Worth, where the evening often involves a longer drive between the Stockyards, downtown and perhaps Dallas or Arlington, many groups find the Sprinter more comfortable.
| Guests | Vehicle | How it is priced | Fort Worth fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 6 | Business SUV | US$120 an hour (3-hour minimum) or US$600 for a 5-hour evening | Dinner and a Billy Bob's show for a small group |
| 7 to 12 | Executive Sprinter | US$190 an hour or US$950 for a 5-hour evening | Stockyards nights, arena concerts, birthdays |
| 7 to 12 | Party bus | quoted in the web booker | Bachelorettes and big birthdays where the bus is the venue |
| Up to 8 | Stretch limousine | quoted in the web booker | Prom and formal photos |
| Up to 16 | Stretch SUV limousine | quoted in the web booker | One big arrival on Exchange Avenue |
| 13 to 24 | Two Sprinters, or a Sprinter and an SUV | fixed per vehicle | Groups that may split up later |

Four Fort Worth nights, planned hour by hour
A Stockyards Saturday (5 to 6 hours)
The Stockyards run the Fort Worth Herd's cattle drive daily at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the Stockyards Championship Rodeo in the historic Cowtown Coliseum, and the PBR Stockyards Showcase every Thursday night. A typical group plan: pickups at 5 p.m., dinner, the rodeo, then a show or dancing at Billy Bob's Texas, and drop-offs home. Parking around Exchange Avenue fills early on weekends, and the district advises arriving early, so the chauffeur's door-to-door drop-off is half the value. Book the 5-hour package and add an hour if the plan includes the late show.
A concert at Dickies Arena (5 hours)
Dickies Arena in the Cultural District hosts concerts, sporting events and the rodeo performances of the Stock Show. Plan dinner before the doors, the show itself and the slow exit. The chauffeur follows the arena's pickup arrangements, so agree a meeting point before you go in, and expect a short walk from the doors to the car.
A Sundance Square and West 7th birthday (4 to 5 hours)
Downtown Fort Worth around Sundance Square is compact and walkable, with restaurants and bars a short drive from West 7th. Here the vehicle's job is pickups, two or three stops and getting everyone home. A 4-hour block often does it; the Evening out & event night package gives a fifth hour of breathing room.
A race weekend or a two-city night (6 hours or more)
Texas Motor Speedway, north of the city, draws race-weekend crowds that load the highways, and many bachelor and bachelorette groups split a weekend between Fort Worth and Dallas. Both involve more highway time, so book by the hour and put every leg on the itinerary. A Full-day chauffeur, 8 hours, is US$1,400 in an Executive Sprinter.
On race days the drive is rarely the problem; the exit is. Tens of thousands of fans leave at once, and app cars struggle to reach the gates. Agree a pickup point and a realistic time with the chauffeur before the green flag, keep phones charged, and accept that the first half hour after the checkered flag is usually slow for every vehicle. For a two-city night, start in whichever city the group will be tired in last, so the final drop-offs are short.
What it costs: per vehicle, with honest arithmetic
Elly8.net prices are per vehicle, never per person. The per-person column below is arithmetic for comparison only, useful when the organiser is collecting money from the group.
| Plan | Vehicle | Total, all-in | Arithmetic per person, full group |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3-hour minimum | Executive Sprinter, 12 guests | US$570 | about US$48 |
| 5-hour Evening out & event night | Executive Sprinter, 12 guests | US$950 | about US$79 |
| 5-hour Evening out & event night | Business SUV, 6 guests | US$600 | US$100 |
| 4-hour private city highlights tour | Executive Sprinter, 12 guests | US$760 | about US$63 |
| 8-hour Full-day chauffeur | Executive Sprinter, 12 guests | US$1,400 | about US$117 |
| 5-hour evening, two vehicles | Two Executive Sprinters, 24 guests | US$1,900 | about US$79 |
Every total includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, taxes and a standard gratuity; tolls, parking and time beyond the booked hours are billed at cost. If the group is flying in for a bachelor or bachelorette weekend, add the airport leg: DFW to downtown Fort Worth is US$575 in an Executive Sprinter and US$290 in a business SUV, the same price on the way back. Our DFW to Fort Worth car service guide explains the arrival.
Red flags in a party bus quote
Most party bus surprises are written into the quote, just not where you look. Watch for these:
- "Plus gratuity" or "plus fuel" in small print. Ask for a per-vehicle, all-in figure.
- A minimum that starts at the garage. Ask when the clock starts and stops; it should be your first pickup and last drop-off.
- Seats that do not match the head count. "Up to 20" on a bus with 14 belted seats is not 20.
- No vehicle age or insurance details. Ask for the model year and confirm the operator is licensed and commercially insured.
- Vague cancellation terms. Get them in writing before paying.
Elly8.net's confirmation states the per-vehicle all-in price, that tolls and parking are billed at cost, and the fixed cancellation terms: free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, refunded to the original card. Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer.
When to book in Fort Worth
Two to three months ahead for spring and autumn Saturdays, big concert nights and race weekends. The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo runs for weeks each winter and fills hotels and the Will Rogers grounds, so winter group nights near the Cultural District also need early booking. Visit Fort Worth publishes the city's event calendar.
Three weeks ahead, confirm the head count and change the vehicle if the group has grown.
One week ahead, send the itinerary: every pickup with a time and street address, each stop, the venue and its pickup rules, the final drop-off and one organiser's phone number.
On the night, if the plan changes, the organiser tells the chauffeur or the 24/7 desk, and extra time is added by the hour. Keep the confirmation email on the organiser's phone, along with the chauffeur's details, so nobody has to search for them in a crowded Stockyards street at midnight.
House rules and alcohol
Everyone needs a seat and a belt; TxDOT reminds Texans that the law requires drivers and passengers to buckle up. Guests stay seated while moving, and the chauffeur decides when it is safe to stop. Rules on alcohol depend on the vehicle and the operator's licence, nobody under 21 may drink, and the chauffeur follows local rules, so do not plan the night around drinking in the vehicle. Damage and cleaning beyond normal use may be charged at cost by the operator.
For school dances and graduations, parents should read our prom limousine page. For company parties and team outings, see group transportation and event transportation.
Party bus or individual rides?
If the group only needs to get to one place and nobody minds finding their own way home, separate app rides can be cheaper. Our Fort Worth taxi or rideshare guide is honest about when that works. A booked vehicle earns its price when the night has several stops, when the group needs to stay together, or when the ride home coincides with a Stockyards or arena crowd. Planning a similar night further south? Our San Antonio party bus guide covers the River Walk and the Hill Country.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a party bus in Fort Worth?
Party buses are quoted for your date, hours and addresses in the web booker. The fixed-price option for up to 12 is the Executive Sprinter at US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$950 for the 5-hour Evening out & event night, per vehicle, including the chauffeur, taxes and a standard gratuity.
How many hours do we need for a Stockyards night?
Five hours covers pickups, dinner, the rodeo and the ride home for most groups. Add an hour if you plan a late show at Billy Bob's Texas or a downtown bar afterwards. Booking the realistic number of hours up front avoids overtime on the night.
Can the vehicle drop us right in the Stockyards?
The chauffeur drops you as close to Exchange Avenue as traffic and local arrangements allow, which avoids the weekend parking hunt. Agree the pickup point and time before you head in, because the district gets crowded on weekend nights.
What if we have more than 12 people?
Book two vehicles under one reference: two Executive Sprinters for up to 24, or a Sprinter and a business SUV for up to 18. A stretch SUV limousine seats up to 16 and is quoted in the web booker. Two vehicles also let part of the group head home early.
Can we drink on the party bus?
It depends on the vehicle and the operator's licence, and nobody under 21 may drink. The chauffeur follows local rules, so do not build the night around drinking in the vehicle. Ask the desk about the specific vehicle when you book.
Can you collect our group from DFW first?
Yes. DFW to downtown Fort Worth is a fixed US$575 in an Executive Sprinter or US$290 in a business SUV, per vehicle. The chauffeur tracks the flight and meets the group inside arrivals, and the same price applies for the return to DFW.
