A San Juan party bus booked through Elly8.net seats up to 12 guests, a stretch SUV limousine up to 16 and a stretch limousine up to 8, each priced for your exact night in the web booker. If you want a fixed price you can see today, the benchmark is the 12-seat Executive Sprinter: US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$950 for the five-hour evening out and event night package, with the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity included.
Most San Juan celebrations are built by visitors rather than locals: a bachelorette group flying in for a long weekend, a wedding party staying in Condado or Dorado, friends in town for a show at the Coliseo. That shapes the planning. You are booking from a distance, on a schedule set by flights, in a city with narrow colonial streets and busy hotel driveways. This guide covers vehicle size, real costs and how to book so the night matches the quote.
What size party bus do you need in San Juan?
Count the largest group that rides together, then add a seat or two for comfort. Through Elly8.net, a party bus seats 12, a stretch SUV limousine 16, a stretch limousine 8 and an Executive Sprinter 12 with room for 12 bags. Groups above 16 book two vehicles on one reservation.
Capacities come from the Elly8.net fleet page. The luggage figure matters more than people expect. A party bus or stretch limousine is built for passengers and carries only about two bags, which is fine for a night out and wrong for an airport run with a week of suitcases. An Executive Sprinter carries as many bags as people, so it can do both jobs.

The vehicles, side by side
| Vehicle | Seats / bags | How it is priced | Good for in San Juan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business SUV | 6 / 6 | US$120 an hour, or US$600 for the 5-hour evening | Small birthday dinners, couples' nights |
| First Class SUV | 6 / 6 | US$145 an hour, or US$725 for the evening | A smarter car for a smaller group |
| Stretch limousine | 8 / 2 | Quoted in the web booker | Weddings, anniversaries, a classic arrival |
| Executive Sprinter | 12 / 12 | US$190 an hour, or US$950 for the evening | Airport plus party, resort transfers, wedding guests |
| Party bus | 12 / 2 | Quoted in the web booker | Bachelorette and birthday nights |
| Stretch SUV limousine | 16 / 2 | Quoted in the web booker | The whole group in one vehicle |
| Two vehicles on one booking | up to 28 | Fixed plus booker | Company parties, large wedding parties |
All prices are per vehicle, not per person. A Sprinter costs the same for eight guests as for twelve, so choose by headcount and bags. If you are torn between a limousine and a black car or van, our comparison of black car vs limousine explains the trade-offs, and how much a limo costs shows the general pricing logic.
What a San Juan party night costs: four worked examples
These use the fixed San Juan prices, so you can check the arithmetic. Dividing a fare by headcount is shown for comparison only; the price is for the vehicle.
A bachelorette night for ten in Condado and Old San Juan. Pickup at the hotel at 7 p.m., dinner in Old San Juan, a second stop and back by midnight. The five-hour evening out and event night package in an Executive Sprinter is US$950, about US$95 each. A party bus for the same five hours is quoted in the booker on the same basis.
A Coliseo concert for six. Dinner nearby, the show and the ride home, five hours in a business SUV at US$600, or US$725 in a first class SUV. Split six ways, that is about US$100 to US$121 a head.
A birthday dinner for twelve, three hours. The Sprinter's 3-hour minimum at US$190 an hour is US$570, under US$50 a head for a short dinner run.
A wedding day. From the first pickup to the last drop after the send-off is often eight hours. The full-day chauffeur package is US$1,400 in an Executive Sprinter for the wedding party, or US$700 in a business sedan for the couple. For a ceremony at a resort outside the city, enter the exact addresses in the web booker for a fixed quote.
Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the booked time are billed at cost. The standard gratuity is already in every price, so there is nothing to settle with the chauffeur at the end of the night. Extra time on the night is charged at the published hourly rate.
Start at the airport: plan two bookings, not one
The most common mistake in San Juan party planning is trying to make one vehicle do everything. A group landing at Luis Munoz Marin (SJU) with suitcases, beach bags and garment bags needs luggage space; a party bus has room for about two bags. The usual answer is two bookings.
First, the arrival: an Executive Sprinter from SJU to Condado is US$315 for the vehicle, fixed and all-in, and seats twelve with twelve bags. The chauffeur meets the group inside arrivals with a name board, and we track the flight so a delay does not leave you waiting. If the group lands on several flights, give the desk every flight number; the Sprinter can wait for the last one, or we can split the pickup so the early arrivals are not sitting at the carousel. Our San Juan taxi guide compares this with taking two or three taxis at the airport's zone fares.
Second, the night: once the luggage is unpacked, the party vehicle picks up at the hotel. For the ride home at the end of the trip, the same Sprinter fare applies in the other direction. The airport advises arriving two and a half hours before departure because of high demand, according to the SJU transportation page, so plan the last morning's pickup from that.
Old San Juan, Condado and the logistics of a big vehicle
San Juan's best nights out are in places that were not designed for large vehicles.
Old San Juan. The walled city has steep, narrow streets, limited stopping space and, on cruise days, heavy traffic around the piers. A party bus or stretch SUV cannot pull up at every restaurant door. The chauffeur agrees a pickup point in advance, usually a plaza or the edge of the old town, and messages the organiser when in position. Build five or ten minutes of walking into the plan and tell guests to wear shoes that can handle the cobbles.
Condado. Hotel driveways along Ashford Avenue are narrow and busy at check-in and dinner times. For a large vehicle, the chauffeur may wait on a nearby side street and message when ready.
Concert nights. The Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot hosts Latin music headliners and touring shows, and the avenues around it fill at the same time as the doors open and close. Pickups after the show work best from a staging point a short walk away, agreed in advance. See concert transportation.
Resorts outside the city. Dorado is about 18 miles (28 km) west of Condado on our routed estimate, roughly half an hour on a clear road, longer at rush hour. A wedding or party based there should count the drive both ways in the booked hours.
How to book without surprises: the questions to ask
Party bus disputes almost always come from a mismatch between what the group expected and what was booked. Ask these before anyone pays:
- What exactly is included? On Elly8.net, the price includes the chauffeur, vehicle, taxes and standard gratuity. Tolls, parking and waiting beyond the booked time are billed at cost. Nothing else is added.
- When does the clock start and stop? From the first pickup to the last drop-off. If guests are collected from three hotels, the time between them counts.
- What happens if we run late? Extra time is charged at the published hourly rate. If the night might run long, book the extra hour now.
- Is the price per vehicle or per person? Per vehicle. Puerto Rico's airport taxis work the same way, and so do we.
- Who operates the vehicle? Rides in San Juan, Puerto Rico are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk. Partner vehicles are four model years old or newer.
- What are the house rules? The chauffeur follows Puerto Rico's rules on alcohol in vehicles and on passengers, so plan the drinks for the venues. Ask about any rules for decorations or food before the night.
- What is the cancellation policy? Free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. Refunds go back to the original card.
Get the itinerary in writing. Put the pickup address, each stop and the final drop-off in the booking notes, along with the organiser's mobile number. The chauffeur messages that number at each stop.
A planning timeline for visiting groups
Six to eight weeks out. Fix the headcount and dates, and book the airport transfer and the party vehicle together. Peak weekends and wedding weeks fill early. Tell the desk if any guest uses a wheelchair or needs a child seat for a family event.
Two weeks out. Confirm restaurant reservations and set the itinerary. Check that the timing allows for walking to and from the Old San Juan pickup point.
Three days out. Final headcount. This is also the edge of the free-cancellation window, so make changes before the 72-hour mark.
On the night. One organiser, one phone. Agree a firm leaving time at each stop; scattered groups are the main reason a night runs into overtime.
Beyond the party: day plans for the same group
Groups in San Juan for several days often add a daytime outing. The six-hour El Yunque rainforest day is US$1,050 in an Executive Sprinter, with the same chauffeur waiting while the group explores; check the US Forest Service's El Yunque page for current access and trail conditions first. The four-hour private city highlights tour is US$760 in the Sprinter. See private city tours.
For destination weddings, our wedding limousine page explains guest shuttles and timing, and party bus rental covers how party vehicles work across the network. Planning the same kind of weekend somewhere colder? Our Anchorage party bus guide covers winter nights and the midnight sun. Many San Juan trips route through Florida, and our Miami page has fixed prices for the mainland leg.
Companies running an incentive trip or a team celebration can book on a corporate account with monthly invoicing, and NDAs are available on request. Full San Juan prices are on the San Juan car service page.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a party bus in San Juan, Puerto Rico?
Through Elly8.net, party buses and stretch limousines are quoted in the web booker for your exact night, per vehicle. The fixed benchmark is the 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$190 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or US$950 for the five-hour evening package, including chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity.
How many people fit on a San Juan party bus?
A party bus seats up to 12, a stretch SUV limousine up to 16 and a stretch limousine up to 8. An Executive Sprinter also seats 12 and carries 12 bags. Leave a seat or two spare for comfort, and book two vehicles on one reservation for groups above 16.
Can the party bus pick us up at SJU airport?
It can, but a party bus has room for only about two bags. For a group arriving with suitcases, book an Executive Sprinter for the airport run, US$315 to Condado for the vehicle, and the party vehicle for the evening once the luggage is at the hotel.
Can a party bus drive into Old San Juan?
Old San Juan's streets are steep and narrow with limited stopping space, so a large vehicle cannot stop at every door. The chauffeur agrees a pickup point in advance, usually a plaza or the edge of the old town, and messages the organiser when in position.
Can we drink on a party bus in Puerto Rico?
The chauffeur follows Puerto Rico's rules on alcohol in vehicles, and we do not plan nights around drinking on board. Plan the drinks for the restaurants and venues, and use the vehicle to get the whole group there and home safely together.

Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less or for a no-show 100%. Refunds go back to the original card.
