A Portland wedding limo is rarely just one car. Most weddings here need three kinds of transport: something special for the couple, a vehicle for the wedding party between the hotel, the ceremony and the photos, and often a shuttle for guests out to a reception in the Willamette Valley. On Elly8.net a full-day chauffeur starts at US$700 in a business sedan and US$1,145 in a First Class Sedan, and a 12-seat Executive Sprinter for the wedding party is US$190 an hour or US$1,400 for the full day, per vehicle and all-in.
The vehicles are the easy part. The timeline is what makes or breaks the day, and in Portland it is shaped by park permits, parking at the popular garden venues and the drive out to wine country. Rides in Portland are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.
How much does a wedding limo cost in Portland?
On Elly8.net a Portland wedding car is priced per vehicle and all-in: hourly from US$95 in a business sedan and US$155 in a First Class Sedan (3-hour minimum), a full-day chauffeur from US$700 to US$1,400, and a 12-seat Executive Sprinter at US$190 an hour. Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and Maybach are priced in the web booker.
The fixed prices on the Portland price list:
| Vehicle | Seats | By the hour (3-hour minimum) | Full-day chauffeur | Typical wedding role |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business Sedan | up to 3 | US$95 | US$700 | Parents, the officiant, a late guest |

| Business SUV | up to 6 | US$120 | US$885 | Bridesmaids or groomsmen with bags |
| First Class SUV | up to 6 | US$145 | US$1,070 | The couple plus a photographer |
| Executive Sprinter | up to 12 | US$190 | US$1,400 | The wedding party, or a guest shuttle |

Classic stretch limousines (up to 8), stretch SUV limousines (up to 16), a Rolls-Royce or a Mercedes-Maybach (2 passengers each) are on the fleet page and priced in the web booker for your date and hours.

First, the permits: Portland parks and gardens
Many Portland ceremonies happen outdoors, and the city's parks system has rules that shape the timeline before any car is booked. According to Portland Parks & Recreation:
- City code requires a permit for any wedding ceremony in a public park where guests are invited, which includes anything more than the couple, the officiant and two witnesses.
- Weddings are not permitted at the Japanese Garden, at Pittock Mansion and its surrounding acres, or at Portland International Raceway.
- Only ceremonies can be booked in the wedding gardens; receptions are not allowed there, so a park wedding usually means moving everyone to a second venue.
- Permit requests should be made at least 45 days in advance to avoid rush fees.
- For 2027 dates from April 1 to December 31, reservations open in person on Monday, January 4, with phone, online and mail requests from Tuesday, January 5.
That third point is the transport point. A park ceremony followed by a reception elsewhere means a guest move in the middle of the day, and that is exactly the job a Sprinter shuttle or two does best.
Parking at Washington Park. The International Rose Test Garden sits in Washington Park, about 2 miles (3 km) from downtown. According to Explore Washington Park, parking fills fast and payment is required at all lots. For a wedding party arriving in four private cars, that is four parking hunts in formal clothes. A Sprinter that drops everyone at the garden and comes back for them removes the problem.
A Portland wedding day timeline
Here is a typical schedule for a city ceremony and a wine country reception. Adjust the times; keep the buffers.
| Time | What moves | Vehicle |
|---|---|---|
| 12:30 | Wedding party from the downtown hotel to photos | Executive Sprinter |
| 1:30 | Couple from the getting-ready suite to first look | First Class Sedan |
| 2:45 | Wedding party and couple to the ceremony site | Sprinter and sedan |
| 3:00 | Guests arrive by their own cars or a hotel shuttle loop | Second Sprinter |
| 4:00 | Ceremony ends; photos in the garden | Cars wait at the agreed point |
| 4:45 | Everyone to the reception in the Willamette Valley | Sprinters and sedan |
| 5:45 | Reception begins | Sedan stays for the couple |
| 10:30 | Guest shuttle back to the downtown hotel | Sprinters |
| 11:00 | Couple's exit | First Class Sedan |
The drive is the variable people underestimate. Dundee, in the Dundee Hills of the Willamette Valley, is about 27 miles (43 km) from downtown and roughly 48 minutes on a clear road; on a summer Saturday afternoon, budget an hour. The Willamette Valley Wineries Association lists the region's wineries, and many host events. If your reception is at a winery, confirm where vehicles can stop and turn; long stretch limousines do not suit every gravel drive.
Three buffers save wedding days:
- Fifteen minutes before every move. Bouquets, buttonholes and the missing shoe.
- Thirty minutes for photos that "will only take ten".
- A firm guest-shuttle departure time, printed on the program, so the last run leaves on schedule.
Choosing the vehicles
For the couple. A First Class Sedan (Mercedes-Benz S-Class or similar) is the understated choice, quiet and elegant in photos. A Rolls-Royce or Mercedes-Maybach is the statement car, priced in the web booker; partner vehicles in those classes are seven model years old or newer, and four or newer in every other class. A classic stretch limousine seats up to eight if the couple wants the wedding party with them.
For the wedding party. The Executive Sprinter is the workhorse: twelve forward-facing seats, standing headroom so dresses arrive uncrushed, and room for bags, flowers and the photographer's kit. Our Portland Sprinter van rental guide covers it in detail. A stretch SUV limousine seats up to 16 for a bigger party that wants the limousine look.
For guests. If the reception is outside the city, shuttles are a courtesy that also keeps guests from driving home from a winery. One Sprinter carries twelve per run; for a hundred guests, two or three Sprinters doing loops is common. See group transportation.
For family. A business sedan or SUV for grandparents and parents, booked hourly, is often the most appreciated car of the day.
A party bus suits the night before rather than the wedding itself; our Portland party bus guide covers bachelor and bachelorette nights.
Typical costs: three Portland wedding scenarios
All prices per vehicle, from the Portland list; stretch and luxury classes are quoted in the booker.
A small city wedding, 40 guests, ceremony and reception downtown. One First Class Sedan for the couple for four hours at US$155 an hour: US$620. One business SUV for parents for three hours at US$120: US$360. Total about US$980.
A park ceremony and a Willamette Valley reception, 100 guests. First Class Sedan full day: US$1,145. Executive Sprinter for the wedding party, full day: US$1,400. Two Sprinters for guest shuttles, about five hours each at US$190: US$1,900. Total about US$4,445, or about US$44 per guest as arithmetic only.
A destination wedding with airport arrivals. Add PDX transfers for the wedding party and family: from US$145 in a business sedan to US$380 in an Executive Sprinter each way, with flight tracking and meet and greet. Our Portland airport car service guide explains how arrivals work.
The rehearsal dinner, the morning after and the airport
Wedding transport rarely stops at the wedding day. Three other moments are worth planning at the same time, because the same desk and often the same vehicles can cover them.
The rehearsal dinner. The evening out and event night package, from US$475 in a business sedan and US$600 in a business SUV to US$950 in an Executive Sprinter, covers the drive to dinner, the wait and the return, which suits a wedding party moving from the rehearsal venue to a restaurant in the Pearl.
The morning after. A farewell brunch at the hotel is easy; a brunch at a winery is not. A Sprinter booked by the hour, from US$190 with a three-hour minimum, carries everyone there and back without anyone driving.
Departures. Out-of-town guests leave on different flights over a day or two. A short list of departure times sent to the desk lets us group guests into shared SUVs or Sprinters to PDX, at the same fixed fare as arrivals, and saves a stack of individual rides.
Rules on board and on the day
There is no drinking in the vehicle; the chauffeur follows Oregon's rules on alcohol, so the toasts stay at the venue. Decorations that do not damage the car are fine; ask first about anything taped or tied on. Damage and cleaning beyond normal use may be charged at cost by the operator. Child seats for flower girls and ring bearers are available on request.
When to book and what to send
Book transport as soon as the ceremony and reception venues are confirmed, and certainly before invitations go out if you plan guest shuttles. Summer Saturdays and harvest weekends in wine country are the busiest.
Send the desk:
- Every address with the time you need to be there, not just pickup times.
- Names and mobile numbers of the person in charge of each vehicle (a best man, a coordinator).
- Guest numbers per shuttle run.
- The venue's rules on where vehicles can stop.
Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup; 72 hours or less is 10%, 48 hours or less 50%, and 24 hours or less or a no-show 100%, refunded to the original card. Full terms are on the cancellation policy page.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a wedding limo in Portland?
It depends on the vehicle and hours. On Elly8.net a First Class Sedan is US$155 an hour (3-hour minimum) or US$1,145 for a full day, and a 12-seat Executive Sprinter is US$190 an hour or US$1,400 a day, per vehicle and all-in. Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and Maybach are priced in the web booker.
Do we need a permit to marry in a Portland park?
Yes, if guests are invited. Portland Parks & Recreation says city code requires a permit for any ceremony in a public park beyond the couple, the officiant and two witnesses. Request it at least 45 days ahead to avoid rush fees. Weddings are not permitted at the Japanese Garden, Pittock Mansion or Portland International Raceway.
How many vehicles does a Portland wedding need?
Usually two to four: one car for the couple, a Sprinter or SUV for the wedding party, and one or more Sprinters if guests travel to a reception outside the city. Small downtown weddings often manage with one car for the couple and one for parents.
How long before the wedding should we book?
As soon as both venues are confirmed. Summer Saturdays and harvest weekends in the Willamette Valley book up first, and guest shuttles need planning before invitations go out. Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup keeps early booking low-risk.
Can guests drink in the shuttle after the reception?
No. There is no drinking in the vehicle on an Elly8.net booking; the chauffeur follows Oregon's rules on alcohol. The shuttle's job is to get guests home safely so nobody drives after the toasts, which is the main reason couples book one.
Is the price per guest or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, always. Every Elly8.net price covers the whole vehicle. Dividing a shuttle cost by the number of guests is useful arithmetic for budgeting, but the booking is paid per vehicle by the couple or the planner.
