A Sprinter van rental in Jackson Hole on Elly8.net always comes with a professional driver, and the prices are fixed before you book: US$420 for the Executive Sprinter from Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) to the town of Jackson, US$220 an hour as directed (3-hour minimum), and US$1,620 for a full day or the 8-hour Grand Teton National Park trip. Each price is per vehicle, for up to 12 passengers, with the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity included.
The van is the easy part. The harder part is knowing how the valley works: the town and Teton Village are 12 miles apart, the airport is inside a national park, ranches sit at the end of long drives, and the roads behave very differently in July and January. This guide is the local knowledge the desk uses when it plans a group. Rides in Jackson Hole are operated by licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partners vetted through the Limousine Worldwide network; Elly8.net takes the booking, fixes the price and runs the 24/7 desk.

The valley in four parts
Jackson Hole is the valley; Jackson is the town. A Sprinter booking makes more sense once you know which part of the valley each stop is in.
The town of Jackson. The Town Square, the restaurants and galleries around it, most in-town hotels and Snow King Mountain right behind downtown. Distances are short and the town is easy on foot. Two local rules matter if you are weighing a self-drive van instead: the airport's transportation page notes that the Town of Jackson is both idle-free and hands-free, and that from November 1 to April 15 parking on public streets and lots is prohibited from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. for snow removal, with violators subject to ticketing or tow. A van with a driver avoids both questions.
Teton Village. The base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, with the tram, the gondola and most of the slopeside lodging. On our routing it is about 12 miles (20 km) and 23 minutes from the town of Jackson on a clear road, and about 22 miles (36 km) and 40 minutes from the airport. Teton Village addresses are priced in the web booker.
Wilson and the west bank. The ranches, private homes and lodges along the valley floor and up the side roads. Many have long private drives. A Sprinter is a big vehicle, so send the exact address and the desk will confirm the access, or suggest two SUVs if a drive is too tight or too icy.
The park. North of town, Grand Teton National Park starts almost at the airport. JAC is inside it, and in winter many park roads close to cars. The park's operating hours page lists the winter closure of the Teton Park Road on October 31 and its spring opening on May 1, so summer and winter park days look very different.
When the valley is busiest
Traffic in Jackson Hole is not big-city traffic, but it comes in waves, and a Sprinter schedule should respect them.
Summer. The park is the draw, and the roads to the viewpoints, lakes and trailheads fill from mid-morning. Groups who start early see more and wait less.
Winter peaks. The holiday weeks and the big ski weekends bring arrival waves at JAC. The airport says public long-term parking can become congested at peak times such as the winter holidays and the Fourth of July, which is one reason groups book the Sprinter for both airport runs.
Evenings in the park. The airport notes that the park's speed limit drops to 45 mph in the evening hours because wildlife crossings are frequent. The drive from the airport or from the park back to town takes a little longer after dark, and it is a drive best left to someone who knows it.
Storm days. Wyoming roads can change quickly. The state's road conditions site is the reference the desk watches on bad-weather mornings; when conditions are poor, we may suggest an earlier pickup or a shorter plan.
The routes groups book most
JAC to town or Teton Village. The most common Sprinter job by far. Ten people, skis and duffels, one vehicle, one name board at baggage claim. Our Jackson Hole airport car service guide explains the pickup step by step.
Ski days with a stop in town. An hourly booking from Teton Village into town for lunch and errands and back for the afternoon. Three hours costs US$660 in the Sprinter; four is US$880. See hourly chauffeur service.
The Grand Teton day. Eight hours at your pace: Teton Range viewpoints, Jenny Lake, about 21 miles (33 km) and 36 minutes from town on a clear road, and the slower wildlife roads early and late. US$1,620 in the Sprinter. The National Park Service sets entrance fees, including separate rates for commercial tour vehicles, listed on the park's fees page; the desk confirms how they apply to your booking.
Yellowstone. Old Faithful is about 98 miles (157 km) from Jackson on our routing, close to three hours each way on a clear road, with the first part through Grand Teton. That is a long day and a summer one, when park roads are open; price it in the web booker or ask the desk.
Dinners, music and ranch evenings. The Grand Teton Music Festival runs a summer season at Walk Festival Hall in Teton Village, and private dinners at ranches are common for groups. The US$1,100 evening package covers the drive, the wait and the return. For bigger celebrations see our Jackson Hole party bus guide.
Retreats. Leadership offsites and family-office trips book one or two Sprinters for the week, with pickups staggered by flight. The corporate roadshow day is US$1,980, NDAs are available on request, and a corporate account gives monthly invoicing. See group transportation.
Sprinter, two SUVs or a sedan?
A Sprinter is not always the right vehicle, and booking the wrong one costs either money or comfort.
| Group | Best fit | Why | JAC to town |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 to 3, light bags | Business Sedan | cheapest fixed fare, quick | US$160 |
| 4 to 6, or skis | Business SUV | room for ski bags, handles winter roads | US$210 |
| 7 to 12, one plan for everyone | Executive Sprinter | one vehicle, one driver, gear inside | US$420 |
| 7 to 12, will split up | Two Business SUVs | two groups, two schedules | US$420 for both |
| 13 to 24 | Two Sprinters, or a Sprinter and an SUV | seats and bags for everyone | from US$630 |
Notice the middle rows: for seven to twelve people, two Business SUVs cost the same as one Sprinter on the airport run. The Sprinter wins when the group moves together and wants to stay together; two SUVs win when half the group skis and half goes into town, or when a ranch drive is too narrow for a long van. The Sprinter van with driver page and the fleet page list seats for each class.
A ski week for ten, costed
A group of ten staying in the town of Jackson for five nights, using the fixed price list:
- Arrival and departure, booked as a round trip: US$800.
- One four-hour hourly day for skiing and lunch in town: US$880.
- The Grand Teton day trip: US$1,620.
- One evening out for a group dinner: US$1,100.
Total: US$4,400 for four Sprinter bookings. As arithmetic for comparison only, that is US$440 per person for the week, including the chauffeur, taxes and standard gratuity, with nobody renting a van, scraping it at dawn or worrying about parking rules overnight.
Five booking tips from the desk
Send every address, not just the first. A ranch in Wilson and a condo in town are different jobs, and the desk plans the order of pickups from them.
Name one group lead. One mobile number for the chauffeur saves a lot of calls when the group is spread across a lodge.
Count the skis, not just the people. Ten people with ten ski bags is a full Sprinter; mention it so the desk can confirm or add an SUV.
Plan park days around the light. Early starts mean emptier viewpoints and better wildlife; a dusk return means the slower evening speed limit through the park.
Book the departure at the same time as the arrival. The round trip costs less, and the return is the run that matters most on a stormy morning.

Frequently asked questions
Can I rent a Sprinter van in Jackson Hole without a driver?
Not through Elly8.net. Every Sprinter comes with a licensed, professional chauffeur, and the price includes them. For groups that is usually the point: nobody drives at night in the park, deals with winter roads or parks overnight under the town's seasonal rules.
How much is a Sprinter from Jackson Hole Airport to town?
US$420 one way for up to 12 passengers in an Executive Sprinter, or US$800 for a round trip booked together. The price is per vehicle, fixed and all-in, and includes flight tracking and meet and greet at baggage claim. Teton Village and ranch addresses are priced in the web booker.
How many people and bags fit in a Sprinter?
An Executive Sprinter seats up to 12 passengers, with room for about 12 bags. Skis and boot bags fit, though a full group with a lot of ski gear should mention it at booking so the desk can confirm. For more than 12, book a second Sprinter or an SUV.
Is the Grand Teton day trip available in winter?
A version of it is. Many park roads close to cars in winter, and the park lists the Teton Park Road's winter closure from October 31 to its May 1 opening. The desk will suggest a shorter winter day on the roads that stay open, with wildlife viewing and valley viewpoints.
Should we book one Sprinter or two SUVs?
For seven to twelve people travelling together, one Sprinter keeps the group in one place with room for gear. If the group will split up, or a ranch driveway is narrow, two Business SUVs give more flexibility, and on the airport run they cost the same US$420 in total.
How far ahead should we book a Sprinter in Jackson Hole?
For the holiday weeks, big ski weekends and July, book as soon as your dates are firm. Sprinters are fewer than sedans and SUVs. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, so holding the vehicle early carries little risk.
